Only if you really understand the background of Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop, an argument can be made that the deal between Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson is trying to get the unsubsidized financial viability of Twitter under the control of an independent platform. At least, that’s my slant on the positive perspective here.
As a free communication platform, Twitter has never been, and is not now, financially viable. However, if Musk can continue finding ways to monetize the platform, subscriptions, exclusive content, advertising, and now broadcasting etc., he might finally be able to break free from the data processing subsidy running behind it. We should be cautiously optimistic, yet pragmatic to the reality of the challenge.
Toward that end, Tucker Carlson announced today an intent to use the social media platform as a free speech and journalistic broadcasting system. If Elon Musk chooses to make Carlson the anchor of this ¹Twitter enterprise it would be akin to ²Fox streaming services making Carlson the anchor of Fox News digital, via Fox Nation. {Direct Rumble Link} WATCH:
.
¹On an investment/return approach, it would make a lot of sense for Elon Musk to give Tucker Carlson a percentage stake in the enterprise (25% backend wealth) in combination with a front-end lump sum and generous expense deferred contract [all write-offs for Musk]. Carlson retains full proprietary control of his created content; Musk gets platform profitable; a genuine win-win.
²Tucker Carlson and the show Tucker Carlson Today was the prior anchor of Fox Nation digital. Murdoch shot themselves in the streaming foot when they fired him. However, you will notice Murdoch waited until Carlson had produced a year’s worth of yet to be broadcast long-format programming which Fox Nation still owns.
(Via Axios) Tucker Carlson, two weeks after being ousted by Fox News, accused the network Tuesday of fraud and breach of contract — and made a host of document demands that could precede legal action.
Why it matters: The aggressive letter from his lawyers to Fox positions Carlson to argue that the noncompete provision in his contract is no longer valid — freeing him to launch his own competing show or media enterprise.
On Tuesday, Carlson announced he would be bringing his show to Twitter.
“Starting soon we’ll be bringing a new version of the show we’ve been doing for the last six and a half years to Twitter,” he said in the video. “We bring some other things too, which we’ll tell you about. But for now we’re just grateful to be here. Free speech is the main right that you have. Without it, you have no others.”
The intrigue: The Twitter move would seem to technically violate Carlson’s contract with Fox, but his lawyers’ letter effectively holds that Fox breached the contract first.
Sources told Axios that Carlson’s lawyers sent their letter before he took to Twitter to announce his new show.
Catch up quick: Axios reported Sunday that Carlson, frustrated by being held to his contract, is preparing to unleash allies to pressure the network into letting him work for — or start — a right-wing rival.
Carlson’s contract runs until January 2025 and Fox wants to keep paying him, which would prevent him from starting a competing show.
Carlson already has gotten eye-popping offers from several right-wing outlets, and has talked to Elon Musk about working together.
The details: The letter — from Carlson lawyer Bryan Freedman to Fox officials Viet Dinh and Irena Briganti — said Fox employees, including “Rupert Murdoch himself,” broke promises to Carlson “intentionally and with reckless disregard for the truth.”
The lawyers accuse Fox executives — which two sources say are Dinh and Murdoch — of making “material representations,” or promises, to Carlson that were intentionally broken, constituting fraud.
Notably, the letter alleges Fox broke an agreement with Carlson not to leak his private communications to the media and not to use Carlson’s private messages “to take any adverse employment action against him.”
Multiple outlets have reported on Carlson’s redacted communications from pre-trial discovery documents and have suggested that they led to his ousting.
The letter also alleges Fox broke promises not to settle with Dominion Voting Systems “in a way which would indicate wrongdoing” on the part of Carlson and not to take any actions in a settlement that would harm Carlson’s reputation.
Carlson was told by a member of the Fox board that he was taken off the air as part of the Dominion settlement, two sources briefed on a conversation told Axios. (read more)
*Headline updated 10:52pm EST as Musk denies any current joint partnership – which makes sense, giving the pending litigation on the contract at Fox News.

That’s the BEST Face Camp!!!
I will subscribe if they call it “Twit News.”
as long as the first episode is an exposé of the back-end connection between twitter and the alphabet agencies / alphabet people
Contact Tucker to give him his programming orders, ‘eh?
Or, we share with him Sundance’s reporting, and with Elon too, and pray for good?
There’s a lot of extracting oneself from the tiger’s mouth in these efforts, they can’t just poke it in the eye while vital bits are still in harm’s way, n’est-ce pas?
Reminiscent of restoring a Republic that has fallen into corruption, which, if I may remind folks, Sundance has shared with us has never to our knowledge yet been done.
Because corruption can really only be cleared out with a genuine spiritual, religious cleansing and revival.
The ‘cleansing’ occurs at the 7th Trump. Satan (6th Trump) and his 7000 fallen angels comprising the Beast System (religious) are destroyed when the true Jesus arrives in Jerusalem where Satan will be seated pretending (performing miracles, perfect supernatural appearance, peace and prosperity for all) to be God. That is when the real cleansing occurs. Don’t be deceived! Rev. 9:4
Satan can’t touch those with the Seal of God in their forehead (mind). Everyone else on Earth will fall for the greatest trick EVER!
My impression was that Matt Tiabi through the Twitter Files has done that.
Some of it, but in coordination with Tucker that would make some amazing programming that will get a lot of traction.
I still wonder how careful Musk has to be tiptoeing out of that minefield without blowing up Twitter.
Remember how his team kept breaking Twitter with even modest changes of code?
It’s like a Jenga Block of computer code stacked to the moon, extracting Twitter from the back lot of Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop will take some time I’m sure; and I surely hope that is his goal.
Cautiously optimistic.
Odds.are.it.is. mostly bloated code. Rarely is code rewritten it is ussually just added to. The original authors are long gone. New programers can back track a problem, but to track back where basic functions are processed in the 9ldest core of the codeis.gargAntuan. Worse yet is the core code is.referenced modified and altered and then layered into other code. So generally you dont re write you jusr add code to modify the out put
Not to mention much code is likely to have been inserted surreptitiously by Derps.
Eons ago, I found a bug in the IP state machine of our routers… it was missing one of the shutdown states… so when closing a connection, it would time out.
The “fixes” were all over the code…. lots and lots and lots of conditional statements.
So, I spent a week fixing it. My boss kept yelling at me…. but I wanted to fix it right.
“How can that code be wrong, it’s been around since the beginning?”
Finally, I brought my book and a print out of the RFC and showed it to her…. now convinced, she didn’t want me to fix it because of all the re-testing.
Meanwhile, we had a team of people trying to speed up the code… and here we had conditional code in Layer 2 and 3 and even some 4.
I fixed it, left the company four months later, my boss and a few more got laid off, I came back a year later as a contractor… all the money I made I invested in CSCO ( this is the early/mid 90s ).
😉
Sorry, had a red flag and a ‘Awaiting for approval’ so I clicked on your red flag to see what happened and I flagged you and couldn’t unflag you. I agree w your post, sorry about that
It takes several flags before it shows up on Admin systems, so occasional oopsies are no problem.
Personally, if I do it on accident I just sneak away with none the wiser.
Usually though, it’s on purpose, as we’ve epic troll infestations to deal with.
Alright !
I might actually get back on Twitter.
Yes!
deep down i feel like musk is a gov operative……like a clean up tool (for the twitter mess they got caught with) so we feel like all is good and we keep the faith,………. his space program, (the internet and exploration), gives johnny gov (eye’s and ability) as needed……..the electric division, it’s what the libtards crave, so he’s deep down their champion……i don’t get it…….just my opinion
He’s just gonna spy on Tucker and put him in jail
We are about to see, aren’t we?
Litmus test.
smart assessment. As long as twit is ‘the place to go,’ other competitors cannot compete. Ppl like what they already know and like Sundance always says most a caught in a battered wife syndrome with the tools, like twit, phones, browsers, operating systems they use and the ppl and organizations they are familiar with. Look how many continued to watch fox after the 2020 election debacle.
This time twit will be different and the rug won’t be pulled at a critical time–leaving ppl to scramble for other ways to communicate and receive/find information. ha
I agree. Musk is the clean up man working to get back the traffic.
The overuse of the ellipsis breaks up the flow of text and makes it more difficult to read. Same goes for ignoring the rules of capitalization in standard written English, which exist for a reason.
Definitely not a Karen.
Just saying.
😉
the rules on capitalization in english were going my way before the internet. we don’t capitalize summer and winter, truth and beauty anymore (look at the declaration of independence). now we have vanity capitalization: https://mashable.com/article/capitalizing-first-letter-words-trend
relax.
I’d prefer that you do your readers the courtesy of proper English.
It’s hard for a reader schooled in proper English to have to read and re-read unpunctuated/capitalized sentences.
Just as a courtesy to others.
The greater command of grammar and punctuation you have, the better you can organize, clarify and express your thoughts.
Go ahead and relax, but don’t be disappointed when you are misinterpreted, misunderstood or unheard. Such laxity might seem to save time, but it often amounts to a waste of your own and everyone else’s time.
Ever hear of being grammer fluid?
🤣🤣🤣
Fluid, like opposite of constipated?
Thank you! The lack of proper capitalization drives me crazy.
Proper grammar and punctuation are a sign of care for our language, of courtesy to the reader. It’s a small but important discipline.
After all, writing exists for the purpose of communication with the reader. It’s not too much to ask.
Have you ever read the book Eats, Shoots and Leaves? It’s all about a zero tolerance approach to punctuation. If you haven’t, you might enjoy it. If you have, I can tell!
My former boss loaned me a copy because I used to complain to him about sloppy language and writing.
“How are you?”
“I’m doing good.”
Drives me nuts.
Thank you, I’ll read it.
Since the Marxists are intent on deconstructing every time-honored tradition, basic rules of language construction must also be done away with. For instance, instead of making a real apology one can just blurt out “My bad” and move on. Calling attention to the assault on the rules of written language as well as spoken language is paying attention to what is happening as they try to destroy community and respect for “the other.” Make no mistake. Thanks for calling it out!!
Thank you. I learned a long time ago that courtesy and some humility in conversation goes a long way.
Apologizing when we wound another acknowledges a breach, and can restore relationship.
Yes, Marxists, in their gross narcissism, think that everything in life is about pleasing THEM.
UGH.
I agree. Too much punctuation dramatics. But readable.
An “open” Twitter is far more valuable for information collection.
More, much more data to mine.
The Far Leftists went too far. They exceeded the Statement Of Work. So they had to be removed.
Oh boy.
Fox and the other propagandists must be freaking out right now. Tucker will now reach a much larger audience too.
Global, even.
We do that all the time around here . . . good gracious, if Tucker Carlson had a dine for every time someone somewhere in America said, “[Mom, Susie] this is my Tucker Carlson face” . . .
and he’d be real fat.
Of interest:
Interesting indeed!
I’m kinda pumped.
Oh, and just in case anyone isn’t enthused about the week so far, we have a Trump Rally Saturday!!!
Now how will all that work out, knowing the Twitter Files exposed the government having a back door portal that can control the speech of its users.
When all those who were blocked from their Twitter accounts are allowed to freely return, then I might consider Mr. Musk’s continued assertions he wants free speech for all to be legitimate. Until then, it’s still Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop with a fresh-faced cashier letting the owners now make money off their customers, up front, before ordering anything once they get to the table.
Well, this arrangement will certainly test the boundaries of “free speech” on Twitter. I give it six months.
As has been said elsewhere… Musk is beholden to Big Government and Big China.
Musk is “beholden to” no one.
His car company and space projects are but hobbies to him.
He would be doing them without govt subsidies, just on a smaller scale.
“He would be doing them without govt subsidies, just on a smaller scale.”
I’d argue that “good enough” is not how winners build world-leading companies in emerging industries. Tesla just took $7.5B of our U.S. Tax Money in February… i’m guessing those sorts of hits at the pipe affect the Bottom Line.
In any case… from just yesterday: what’s involved in getting one of these operations up and running?
“Elon Musk and Tesla break ground on massive Texas lithium refinery”
https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/tesla-plans-produce-lithium-1-mln-vehicles-texas-refinery-elon-musk-2023-05-08/
Sounds like a lot of paperwork.
From April…
“Tesla can’t quit China”
https://www.axios.com/2023/04/11/tesla-shanghai-battery-energy-china-strategy
… and on, and on, and on. If Musk wants to do business… whatever that business is… he needs to play within the Global System… FTC, FCC, SEC, EPA, EU Regulatory, Chinese Communist Party… and on, and on, and on.
The problem is Musk doesn’t know what REAL FACTCHECKERS ARE . He thinks factcheckers from the below sources are real factcheckers and NONE OF THEM ARE .
They are ALL funded by LEFT WING GROUPS .
I hope he’s not jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
It’s beyond time to get past this cloud of satans obfuscation..
I’m going back on Twitter.
Sorry, Bob.
😃
YOU CAN’T PATCH THE CORD, MAQUIS!!! Against the rules, bro…
Mexico is a long ways away . . . think I’ll chance it Mr P . . . 😁
I guess this gives us our answer whether Elon is working for the deep state, and that answer is No.
The deep state would never let Tucker have an unfettered free speech forum to communicate with the public directly and without any gatekeeper.
And so it goes. Just like that and quite accidentally, Elon now finds himself stumbling into a whole new area of business which he will certainly become a titan in.
I think, down the road, his owning Starlink is going to become VERY key as they become desperate and pull out all the stops to try and deplatform Tucker Unchained.
Good point.
Guess I need to reconsider my internet cable connection . . .
Use Thor.
Elon doesn’t have to be working for the Deep State here.
It turns out that at this point, some of the goals of both MAGA and The Deep State converge when it comes to Twitter. Both sides want an open dialog forum. MAGA wants to see communication; the Deep State wants to monitor ALL communication.
If people go to Gab, Truth Social and others, the Deep State loses the ability to monitor.
Going forward, however, is where it can get interesting. If Elon, the businessman, manages to monetize a rather smaller, but non-robotic, Twitter, he many not need the Deep State.
Hmm…
Ooooh, I didn’t even think about the Starlink connection! AWESOME observation!
I like it! I think it can be a win-win. Musk may be able to get a return on an investment he way overpaid for, and Tucker may get the free speech platform he truly wants. My only question is; will I have to pay for it?
I think you are going to see TWITTER become a new media/sports/news/entertainment streaming service that will rival all of the major cable outlets such as ESPN, Netflix, Disney, Google, You Tube, All major news channels, etc.
Elon is a genius and he has grabbed a TIGER by the tail and it will be worth billions more than he paid. It can broadcast all sporting events worldwide and I see that happening. Yes, a paid subscription, but he won’t have to share the fees with some cable company. You will be able to stream it on any internet device you have. Anywhere in the world. And he owns the satellite to transmit the signal.
I can see Twitter putting cable and satellite providers out of business. The younger gen. is very connected to the internet and smart phones can do anything a laptop computer can do. I watch lots of video on my smart phone. Once you get used to seeing it on a small screen, it is not too bad.
Tucker may become a very wealthy man.
Wouldn’t he (they) need to address (as you did) having servers that could not be messed with by the bad guys ?
As Rush used to say “If they didn’t help make you they cant break you”……
This is a big part of breaking away from that.
He will make Twitter able to afford it.
Dang, I hope Elon and Sundance communicate about Jack’s Coffee Shop and how to disengage.
Do any of us know any billionaire genius types that could sleuth out the connections and sever them?
Asking for 8 Billion friends.
Excellent point! Rush said that about Trump. Only Trump can destroy himself. It looks like Tucker has done the same. It will be interesting to see, read & hear what is next.
“Tucker on Twitter” or “Tweeting Tucker”
Tucker Uncaged!
Off topic public service announcement:
I recently got rid of my cable subscription and bought a couple of smart TVs. Turns out the apps that come with the TVs gets OAN, Real America’s Voice and Newsmax (among many other things). You do need a good internet connection, but it works great on my home wi-fi. No cables needed, just plug that sucker in.
I use my 12 ft. HDMI to just mirror my MACBOOK screen, with good internet you can watch anything on your laptop on the 50″
SMART is an acronym that stands for
Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology
There are interruption switches one can use to kill the cable connection when not in use.
Just to minimize watching you back.
SMART is for hard drives, it measures statistics, it doesn’t have access to the data files.. Indeed, as I recall, it doesn’t even know about file systems.
Just remember that James Comey and Peter Strzok are looking through the cameras 24/7.
Hope Carlson really goes after Murdoch here… want to see those Zelensky emails spill out of discovery… (tee hee)
How about a truckload of J6?
And the border.
Kevin McCarthy and his ilk, still retain full control of said evidence.
He has not moved past the first post, since releasing the one set of video’s, on one episode.
I doubt that Tucker and his people have any other video in their possession. Tucker explained that his team was allowed to view and release only that set, so far. They were viewed in the Capitol offices, and were never allowed to copy and retain the videos off site.
Understood.
But the kibosh on further exposure was made through his previous employer, things have changed.
One can hope.
Could this be now Tucker is the controlled opposition?
I find this ‘union’ to be a bit disconcerting…IDK why…just a ‘feeling’. I hope I’m wrong.
TO THIS DAY ELON MUSK STILL HAS NOT LET THE TENS OF MILLIONS OF TRUMP SUPPORTERS WHO WERE PERMANENTLY BANNED FOR SUPPORTING TRUMP BACK ON THE PLATFORM .
I normally don’t scream but how long is it going to take ? Enough is enough .
They don’t invite you back. You have to request access again.
Tried numerous times . It’s a complete no go .
Well, you are one of the ones that they ignore. I have read many in your shoes as well. Start a new one, and lobby from there.
Your numbers though, are far from accurate.
That is not true.
Sorry, it just isnt.
Ive been back on there since being banned, for a while now. As are millions of others who were kicked off for same.
Tens of millions is a stretch, by a long shot.
Major Conservative accounts have been restored, including many doctors, scientists, and regular people, and media members.
Im not quite sure why you are lying, but you are. There are some, in certain cases, that have tried, unsuccessfully, but there are not THAT many.
I read these all day long. Most that had troubles simply had to keep bugging them, or start another account, and lobby Twitter to restore old accounts, from the new one.
Very happy to see this. I suspect it also tells us a little more about Elon. Seems he is indeed in it for the right reasons. Wasn’t so mysterious to me. I could easily see Musk being that guy who wanted to steer clear of politics and make his money and enjoy life. Nothing wrong with that in sane times. However those times have passed and we find ourselves knee deep in shit. Its probably waist deep at this juncture.
As most of you who have read my comments know I am not a bull when it comes to the future of the United States or most of the world for that matter. Sent you that excerpt for Emerald Robinson last night showcasing Russian writer Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. He said the West has lost its way to God. IMO opinion God, Natural Law, Mother Nature, Light, and Truth all dance in the same circles. Our country is now represented by people who have no relationship with the Truth. Therefore they have no affiliation to the aforementioned.
I wholeheartedly believe Musk, TC, RFK Jr, and DT are Truth Tellers; all in their own way. Its the ONLY way I see back to God. Here is that piece from Emerald again:
https://www.emerald.tv/p/solzhenitsyn-predicted-americas-current?utm_source=profile&utm_medium=reader2
We can only hope, I believe so
Yas!! 😂
Two peas in a pod?
I think so….I listened to TC’s speech at the Heritage Foundation (I think) this year. I understood him. I could see where he came from originally having civil arguments with the Democrats in the early 90’s. I grew up in a non religious house hold like Tucker. We certainly respected it but didn’t practice it much. TC said that he could not think of a better word to use than “evil” to describe our adversaries (paraphrasing). I left a comment on this post about “The Truth” and how war has been declared on it.
I do agree that ‘war has been declared on’ Truth. I do hope that Tucker does not become a ‘casualty’ in that war. I do believe he is a ‘good guy’ and does seek the Truth. The thing is, Truth dictates that none of us are above being deceived. When I read MT. 24:24 ‘For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.’, I hear that the deception in the last days will be SO deceptive that if it were possible, even the elect (the ‘top dogs’) could be deceived. We’re not yet in the ‘time’ of the Great Deception, however, as with most things that which is coming sheds shadows before it arrives. I’m beginning to think that we are in those days of ‘shadows’. I really do hope the best for Tucker and I do miss his broadcasts. I will pray for him if God leads me to do so. However, with all the possibilities that he had to choose from, to team up with Musk (one I consider to be questionable) puzzles me. Why not ‘Truth Social’ with Pres. Trump if ‘social media’ was his choice?
🤣😂😜
🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious.
“cautiously optimistic”…
I’m not sure if I’m even at that point.
1- I don’t necessarily trust Elon. I do not like (understatement) his involvement and push with AI (even though he has recently been speaking out against it while very much involved with it behind the scenes.). I find his involvement with ‘brain chips’ more than disconcerting: https://greatgameindia.com/elon-musk-neuralink-monkeys/
2- I have no personal interest in getting back involved with ‘social media’ (which includes twitter).
I do hope the best for Tucker and I hope this ‘move’ is not detrimental. I truly do hope that he has not been diverted and that he’s not being ‘set-up’.
He wants to develop a based AI.
One that defends.
Definitely going to be interesting.
Check out that link and see how that impacts you. I find it quite troubling.
I’m familiar with it.
I’m not ambivalent, but not as alarmed as many.
They are looking at something that is far too invasive to turn us into pod people without our consent or knowledge, though Dean Koontz in his Jane Hawk series had a chilling take on an injectable self-assembling neural-lace forced on unwilling victims, more a Bill Gates kind of scheme I’d think, and I find his rationale interesting, as a means to direct AI to prevent us from being locked out of what goes on in such systems and to keep it controlled.
Interesting times.
I know I’m a bit ‘old-fashion’. I grew up on ‘walk the talk’ and ‘actions speak louder than words’. Musk met with WH officials in Jan.. For the past few mos., he has been speaking up about the dangers of AI and even called for a 6 mo. halt. While doing so quite publicly, in the background he is pursuing ‘brain chips’, etc. Doesn’t ‘jive’. Saying one thing while doing another has never sat well with me. Time will tell, as always. I really do like Tucker and have often ‘defended’ him here. I hope the best for him… just not convinced this is it. If it diverts him from something else that perhaps he should be doing, we’ve lost an important ‘good guy’. I can only go on ‘feeling’ at the moment, and that ‘feeling’ is disappointment. I do hope I am wrong.
I like you, hold Tucker in a place where actions speak louder than words.
Back in the early 2000’s, when he had Dr Stephen Jones on his show, speaking about 9/11, and that he had found thermite particles in the dust of the WTC debris, with independent labs doing said tests, Tucker said that he did not understand what Dr Jones was talking about, Tucker pretended not to know things, and that has never sat well with me, being that Dr jones and many other credentialed scientific experts had found the same things, I did not trust Tucker.
Fast forward to this day and age, it seems he may have become a more honest version of himself.
Time will tell, as to whether or not Tucker had a come to Jesus moment. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
Is like the cloud just somebody else’s computer. It don’t compute
I’m sorry, I’m not following you here . . . mind clarifying just a bit?
Don’t forget, Musk is raising a s*@t load of revenue with the monthly verification fees. He’s probably ditched the government “subsidies”. I’m not sure he won’t censor right wing views he disagrees with, but is probably beyond the Jack’s Magic Coffee stage>
Tucker and James O’Keefe should team up , I’ll only be impressed if he really infuriates the cabal and exposes all the crimes with irrefutable proof .
Dude.
They tried to silence him through 2025.
This is his “Hold my Foxweiser!”
Never been on any social media. But if I get a text from Tucker I will watch.
Rush used to say that Twitter was a human sewer–with which I agreed.
However, considering that Jesus ministered to the dregs of society, I suppose I can dip into the “sewer” of humanity to get my Tucker fix.
Sundance does amazing work on Twitter!
Delightfully snarktastic.
Dave Chapelle said it was a Bathroom wall lol. I need to sign back up too. Its hard to get too excited I understand. Both of these guys have have earned our attention however. Both have the potential to wake up a lot of people. Understand its the only chance we have when it boils down to it. Only the “Truth Tellers” have the remote chance of turning the ship around. I firmly believe its because the Truth corresponds to God. And God is what we have left behind.
Who is the “we” in your last sentence? Is there a mouse in your pocket?
So,
How long before some grand jury in DC or NY find a reason to indict Carlson?
Musk’s posts about the nature of this where he says there is no special contract between Twitter and Musk is important. It will make it harder for Fox to silence Carlson because normally when someone breaches a non compete you threaten to sue / or sue, the new employer not the individual because courts don’t like things that compel or don’t compel an individual to work (it kind of smacks of slavery).
I’ve stated previously that since Carlson is likely under contract with Fox still–which is almost proven by the fact that he is now suing them for fraud. The reason “fraud” is being argued is that if proven, it causes the whole contract to be thrown out by the court. This is what Carlson wants so he can be completely freed up.
Fox’s idea was to sideline him at a measly $20m through the 2024 election. I expect the fraud argument will be to the effect that Fox never intended to let him be on air for the length of the contract and thereby fraudulently induced him to sign.
Sundance offered good explanations of what his line of assault against Foxweiser may be in the quote portion of his post.
Investigative reporting requires trusted embedded contacts. TC father was gov. Wonder if Fox knows his sources. If so, who will these sources be loyal to?
Don’t you feel that’s a bit of a stretch just to paint a negative?
He no more owns sources than Sundance does.
Information is information, it is upon us to use our God given minds to assess and evaluate, and we have CTH and perhaps even Twitter to help do that.
Cautiously optimistic I am.
Bannon says Musk is funded by CCP. US Gov probably kicks in for EV and space travel.
He’s a global businessman.
But he’s not Tucker’s sources as you spoke of initially, so I’m not catching your drift I guess.
Hopefully pressure will not be put on others to not work with Tucker. Or if he is fed misinfo and he uses it his credibility will suffer.
How will it differ going forward from what he has done so far?
Frankly, I think this opens up possibilities, many might view him as more accessible now.
The relevant part from the Axios piece does reference arguments that will be used to show Fox breached the contract. But I was focused on the point of why fraud is being argued–again, if the argument carries then the entire contract is voided.
All the arguments have the same objective in mind – whether the contract is voided or materially breached, if any of arguments carry, then Carlson can claim damages (which may not be all that much since he could well get more somewhere else) and be free of all his contractual restrictions.
I hope he succeeds.
Shame on those people still watching Fox.
By naming Murdoch in the suit, Tucker has him over a barrel. Murdoch, now senile, wanted to avoid public testimony so much he paid Dominion $787M for it.
I still do NOT trust Twitter!
Margie: And you are the better for it. Twitter is not important. Not in the least.
If this gets off the ground and is a serious enterprise the deep state locusts will converge on it and try to destroy or defang it.
We are beyond tolerance and fairness regarding free speech. Censorship, intimidation, misinformation and propaganda are the tools of those trying to control this new ‘information age’ (to revive a term used naively by Marshall McLuhan and others of a bygone era.
He didn’t do it while on Fox, if he’s so free now, let’s see if TC finally interviews Dr Shiva

Two showman, doing what showman do, and very well, I suppose.
Sorry, Sundance, Treepers, this just has a very funny smell to it. It’s off. Can’t put my finger on it. But I know there’s something not right about this.
I know a move to Rumble wouldn’t have this odor around it. Time will tell. But my spidey-senses have been activated.
Tucker Carlson should join Rumble, Joe Rogan says
https://reclaimthenet.org/tucker-carlson-should-join-rumble-joe-rogan-says
Someone explain to me how Tucker is going to be allowed to speak the truth about the China problem, which is the Paramount issue facing America today, when Elon Musk owns a huge factory in Shanghai, and does business with the communist Chinese?
That Donald Trump wants to stop the outsourcing of manufacturing to China is why the establishment in both parties are desperately trying to destroy him and the MAGA movement. Almost every issue in our society, most importantly, in the short run, the civil war within the Republican Party, are epiphenomena of the China question, and Elon Musk is on the wrong side of that question! Please, someone explain to me how Tucker Carlson is going to achieve freedom of speech to talk about the most important issues facing our society on Twitter. I do not get it.
And then certainly in the top five issues facing our nation is the nihilistic, insane war on fossil fuels and the internal combustion engine. Guess who is the number one beneficiary of that utterly lunatic project? You guessed it, Elon Musk. I don’t think this is going to achieve anything like free speech for Tucker Carlson on the very most important issues facing the United States today. This is a very, very depressing moment.
More and more I believe China is not the problem.
China is China and they’re in for themselves.
When Trump was in the WH, our relationship with China was actually good. The Chinese understood and respected Trump and MAGA. It is what they do.
With the corrupt politicians, our relationship with China is way worse while the Chinese are getting away with murder… I’m sure the Chinese have no respect for the likes of Biden… they are after all traitors to their (our) country.
There is a reason why treason is a capital offense… NO ONE trusts or respects a traitor that operates out of greed.
Of course, China itself is not the problem. America has no credible external any enemies, none worth worrying about. The problem is American economic elites who have outsourced all of our manufacturing to China. There are trillions of dollars at stake. Sundance taught me that there are trillions of dollars at stake, and he is absolutely correct. That is enough money to buy every conservative media outlet in America, 1000 times over. That is enough money to lavishly fund a Ron DeSantis, or whoever they can find to destroy Trump and Maga.
The problem is American elites, obviously, but the controversy centers on American industrial policy, and the outsourcing of manufacturing to China. And this is at the root of almost everything going on in American politics, most conspicuously, the Republican Civil War, where you still find most of the Republican establishment doing everything imaginable to destroy Trump, but most Republican voters are only interested in voting for Trump.
And since this is the central issue of our time, how is Tucker Carlson going to report on this issue on a platform owned by a man who owns $1 billion factory in Shanghai?
That factory isn’t outsourcing, it’s to produce vehicles for China and I believe maybe environs as well.
Also, Elon may be getting skunked by China on the deal, as they are undercutting him price wise and I wouldn’t doubt if they are stealing his technology just like they are doing to any other.
Can’t recall where I read it, but it seemed like the factory was in some sort of jeopardy; anyway, it might come to pass that Elon won’t have much worry about China being criticized; and frankly, why is everyone so insistent that a business relationship means absolute control of his speech and other operations?
I am, like Sundance, cautiously optimistic, and think some of these concerns are overblown.
He will do as many, many others now do.
Talk about those issues, with the freedom Elon has put into Twitter.
Apparently you dont go on Twitter. There are literally thousands of people speaking about those issues. Every minute, of every day.
The ones who were banned under the old regime, are mostly all back. Doctors, scientists, media members and every day people.
You post without really know anything, apparently.
Try going on it and seeing what Im saying.
(Pro Tip: Sundance talks about all of this stuff, on Twitter. He has not been silenced. All of the same articles you read here, are also there. Where you come up with, Tucker wont be allowed, is bollux. )
What I have been seeing is a broad assignation of omniscience to the evil we face.
I just don’t see it, and I don’t think it’s healthy, it corrals your mind and drags others down.
Claiming omniscience is granting omniscience.
I just signed up on Twitter TODAY. I never considered it before. I am going for Tucker Carlson and will subscribe for that.
We must sidestep the tyrants, liars and scoundrels and directly support the truth tellers.
I want Fox News to fail and the Murdoch family to suffer financial ruin.
“By their fruits you will know them…” Mathew 7:16-20
“the last will be first and the first will be last.” Mathew 20:16
“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” Isaiah 54:17
Good on ya.
I’ll get back on soon myself.
I agree we need to support the revolution and encourage the truth tellers.
Tucker is pro establishment .
I dont believe that is the case at this point in time. He has in the past, appeared to be such, but some of things things he has spoken to recently, suggest he stepped of the ledge and has become grounded in reality.
This is my opinion, and only my own.
Now this is HILARIOUS .
Look at how happy CNN is about Tucker moving to Twitter LOL.
New York CNN —
Right-wing extremist Tucker Carlson announced Tuesday that he will relaunch his program on Twitter, which he praised as the only remaining large free-speech platform in the world after Fox News fired him late last month.
Notice how EVERYTHING that is not pro communist is right wing extremism ? Ha ha ha ha ha
Can CNN identify ONE “extreme” belief expressed by Tucker … and explain why they deem it “extreme”. Of course they can never do such a thing … as it would reveal the absurdity of their claim.
If twitter cranks up to become a huge broadcasting platform with big names drawing
mega viewers globally, could this spell the end of Google’s dominance?
And what about the legacy media? Just maybe?
As Bob wrote, the times they are a changin.
I remain skeptical, but cautiously optimistic.
i’ll be darned, i just found out that musk invested in chatgpt near it’s beginning , which just happened to be a non profit at the time…….microsoft jumped in with a million…and then quickly made it 10 mil…..it’s a small world

It’s a year later. And much has happened.
Indeed Charlie Brown
You don’t think he doesn’t see the meme onslaught rolling Meatball out the door?
Pretending is hard.
Being rude is easy.
Leftist accuse Trump of being rude too. Probably because its easier then contemplating truth.
Good Grief.
Let’s hate the man because he had a bad take last year, before Meatball got outed.
That’s not “truth,” that’s your take, and I only said I think he has eyes to see what’s gone down and we’ll see what happens.
Red Carpet Fans never learn.
Will Elon’s new relationship with Tucker make Twitter a “publisher” vs content provider?
I was hoping Tucker would end up over at Rumble….
So the issue of the debt ceiling doesn’t make you mad??
Tucker taking his show to Twitter is the best thing to happen in years! Gonna rival Rogan for reach.
Onus is on Musk to defend the free access to Tuckers show. And opportunity for him to monitor and expose any attacks against Tucker from the Twitter platform.
This will be great!
Tucker is talking…
😉
I just hope they don’t do to Musk what they did to Breitbart… They cannot afford any line of communication between the remaining rational people to remain open and uncensored. Their entire hold on power is dependent upon a citizenry of sheeple willing and eager to be kept in the dark, about everything. Musk’s buy of Twitter was more momentous than most realise, and they are already looking to subvert it just as they did with Fox News. Stay safe, Elon.
Musk, Carlson and Trump are certainly targets – !
Their courage and audacity to enter the big battle for truth and freedom is awe-inspiring.
We must pray for their protection and have their backs!
