Occam’s Razor: When faced with competing explanations for the same phenomenon, the simplest is likely the correct one.
(1) An investigative silo within the federal apparatus falsely identified me as “1% Watchdog.” (2) When confronted with the truth of the matter, and after their own independent investigation, federal investigators acknowledged that some other entity fabricated their bona fides using my identity. (3) Admitted (by them) the most likely motive was to influence trust amid the communication group of “1% Watchdog.”
In my humble opinion, and applying Occam’s Razor, “1% Watchdog” was/is a federal agent.
What other motive would a person carry to fabricate their identity, create false bona fides, if not to influence a sense of trust in their target audience?
NOTICE the wording: […] “your administration of the “Stop the Steal J6” channel.”
This appears to outline “1% Watchdog” as the owner/administrator/controller of the communication platform.
These are not unfounded suppositions. Simply reverse engineer the process, apply the scientific method to your review, then apply Occam’s razor.
Counselors – On behalf of your client(s) file a motion with the judge requesting a court order compelling Zello to give up the registration records of the ‘Stop the Steal J6’ channel. This will identify the person behind “1% Watchdog”. If federal prosecutors fight the request for the court order, well: (a) there’s your answer; and (b) take the next step of using the preexisting congressional subpoena as evidence to support your compulsion.
For MEDIA – In an effort to improve personal time management, and devote necessary time to advancing our goals, please consider this a standard form letter response to any further inquiry:

My honest and respectfully intended question to you would be: What is it that makes media folks always want to “get an interview” when the information is there for the taking?
Perhaps, by training, by habit, or by unintended consequence you have developed your business model, and as a consequence yourself, to live for the process itself as an end result. Is it logical to believe that journalism is the interview; the conversation is the point; the smoke is the fire?
Please forgive my uneducated and poorly worded suppositions, but apparently journalism has evolved into reveling in the process and, as a consequence, it completely ignores the end point, misses the bottom line, doesn’t actually SEE the subject matter and never actually applies what might be discovered.
In fact, I’m led to believe that sometimes those within the media avoid the subject matter deliberately, because if they get their heads around it and nail it home, they won’t have anything to talk about anymore – because they will have exhausted their stash.

Yes, because sometimes words (comments) are not needed since the author has said everything that needs to be said.
Of course, on CTH1.0 one could hold their cursor over the the likes and see who liked the comments; similar to when there was a little icon in the upper right hand corner one could instantly go back to that comment thread and continue the conversation. There were some great conversations that way, a lot of give and take, and learning new things, all because one could connect to those liking and/or commenting.
Quite often I will repeatedly refresh and scan threads not only to catch who might’ve responded to me, but to also see how the entire conversation is developing, there can be wonderful thoughts popping up, as well as antagonists that might need attention.
This is my favorite crowd bar none.

Some background on the J6 case against the Oath Keepers:
The DOJ conspiracy/sedition charges against Oath Keepers relied on the 1% watchdog and his Zello channel a critical part of their case. They claimed that 1% watchdog over his Zello channel was actively communicating with the Oath Keepers when they were inside the Capitol, urging them on.
The judge expressed a concern that the government had not been able to identify who was 1% watchdog and wondered whether that actor had simply been someone sounding off and not actually the ringleader coordinating sedition. In the end though, the judge allowed it to be used as a central proof of conspiracy. The government never did identify the person behind the 1% watchdog handle.
Man, that is interesting.
It would seem that these defendants, if they could get an appeal in front of a honest job, could use this to get the convictions overturned, maybe. In my mind, the defense should have had access to that actor to depose and/or examine on the stand.
Just as important and closer to the “house,” it appears now that the J6 Committee that subpoenaed SD was being used by DOJ to tie him to the J6 ‘insurrection (not)’ to discredit, charge and silence him.

The big one the other day where he outlined his subpoena. They used communications that was attributed to him to get him to come testify and set himself up.

You are an eloquent writer, Sundance. The challenge of which you speak is as deep and as old as human existence.
As Andrew Breitbart opined, politics is downstream of culture. If you follow that logic, then culture is downstream of cultural institutions–the so-called 7 cultural mountains of media, arts/entertainment, government, business, education, family, and religion. Upstream of these institutions is worldview and one should note that aside from religion and those families that live by their faith, the rest operate on a secular worldview. Above worldview is the ultimate source and that is the human heart. Every human heart has a cornerstone–that which is of their highest importance and greatest love. It is here where one discovers whether an individual has a foundation built on rock (truth) or sand (lies).
As a “poster child” example, I present Dr. George Wald–brilliant scientist and a Nobel laureate in biology in the 1980’s (?) who made the following observation (quote/paraphrase): “We know that life came into existence either by a supernatural act of God or by spontaneous generation (now called abiogenesis) leading to evolution. There is no other option. We know that spontaneous generation is impossible, as it was proved by Pasteur and others 150 years ago. That leaves us with only one option–an act of a supernatural God.” [Good so far–logical thought, analysis, truthful outcome]. Yet Wald went on to say, “But I don’t want to believe in God, therefore I choose to believe in the impossible–spontaneous generation leading to evolution.”
This is how science went WOKE. It is the fork in the road where the path to destruction is wide. One confronts truth, then chooses desire. All these so-called journalists are committing the same error as their core desire is influencing how they report and how they perceive the truth. Many are completely unaware of it being so blinded by their ideology.
As the prophet Jeremiah lamented, “The heart is deceitful beyond measure and desperately wicked. Who can understand it?” (17:9). This is the challenge facing the patriotic truthbearers and without God’s help, it cannot be fixed.

This is true, and I think ‘confronting the truth yet choosing desire’ affects many more people, in all walks of life, than we would normally consider vulnerable to that weakness. I suddenly realized I know several people, some relatives, one with a Science PHD from a very prestigious university, who have chosen, ‘fitting in’ rather than having an open mind to pursue the truth.
I also suspect that some of them know very well what they have done, and on some level feel uncomfortable about their choice. This quiet discomfort manifests itself in different ways, hostility, even insults, to someone suggesting an alternative view, or stating to them, in a kindly way, the facts they sometimes already know, but choose to pretend they do not. A sneering correction of your position with great condescension while deliberately missing the point, and deflection, follows.
Also, they imply in words or actions, that you are eccentric or peculiar if you mention certain forbidden words or concepts, eg. God, as if just that word ‘God’ or ‘Creator’ is somehow embarrassing to them as it is not P.C. In some cases, re. family and friends, they cut themselves off from you, and cancel you from their communications and emails etc which can cause emotional hurt. There’s a lot of it about. The media do this daily.
We have for years sent a funny and recently political satirical letter with our Christmas cards. We always got great positive feedback but since 2020 and the pandemic started it turned to hostility. At first I didn’t understand the reaction when family (cousins) dropped me with a hostile text and no Christmas card thereafter. Friends from New York too. All these people are in New York/New England.
This year my husband sent close friends copies of “Cause Unknown” by Ed Dow’s. Also hostile reactions. He did it because he felt morally obliged to warn these people to stop with these boosters.

Yes, indeed. I was like you also cancelled for mentioning that subject. The knowledge you so kindly passed on to your friend showing how much you cared about them , ( via ‘Cause Unknown’ to your close friends)I also shared with people I cared about, also including cousins that lived far away from me. They seemed to have done what they were told to do , happily and without another thought. They believed all the propaganda. Not one of the people who cancelled me, for whatever they found to be unacceptable, has renewed contact.
It’s human nature to blame the messenger. Try not to take it personally, as hard as that can be. Pray that their eyes will be opened before it’s too late.

It looks to me like the agent tried to frame Sundance so they could threaten him into abandoning the dissemination of facts and truth. Just imagine how many tens of thousands of people have been framed by such agents surfing freely with impunity throughout the social media and on the NSA database. After all the more than 10000 contractors on the NSA alone are likely not just extracting info but maybe planting false info as well. For each agent and contractor they are likely framing hundreds, otherwise why so many of them doing that job.

Did the J6 investigators know that 1%Watchdog was created by another federal agency and issued the subpoena to dig deeper in hopes of finding criminal acts (and absent that set up a perjury trap) or did they not know it was another federal agency? The latter would imply the Deep State is functioning in discreet packages instead of a top-down authority, thus insulating everyone with plausible deniability.

unfortunately, the reason why this works so well as a business model is because human beings are naturally inclined to pay attention to drama. It’s our deep limitless desire for the surprise..the shock..the twist…the double entendre, the gimmic and the treat…even IF it is so obvious. this is the human being knowing he is being lured into a trick and seeing coming and knowing what the end will mostly likely be…and yet stays in the game, fixed to the slop….because there is some irrational satisfaction of knowing: I know what happens next.
this is the reason why I love great writing…original great writing. You DO NOT see what is coming next. It’s all new and untraveled in your mind. The author has designed the piece to move you to use your imagination, but never gives up the goods…so the drama is more pure, and effective.
what we have here in this age of media maniacs, is two bit writers…and sadly an audience, who not only can’t appreciate good writing…but is probably incapable of knowing the difference. I say this watching the decline in entertainment quality…movies and music in particular. There are no heavy subjects. IT’S COMIC BOOKS, written for children that are as empty and meaningless as joe malarkey’s brain on pop pudding.
I read old stuff now….the classics. And while it is relaxing and good to get a good read in. It still kind of makes me frustrated that in this so called modern age, with so many incredible new subjects to explore…very few writers are creating great drama. That’s a real downer. Perhaps the answer is no publisher wants to finance a serious book that no one will read.

You can’t conduct a real, thorough investigation of ANYTHING or ANYONE by sitting in front of a computer & doing searches no matter what databases you have access to. That is only prep work for actually going out and talking to and assessing people face to face . . . . . a professional law enforcement expertise which is being lost in with this Geek Squad FBI with badges. . . . my point being, you NEVER issue a subpoena as was done here. You pick up the phone, knock on a door or write a letter requesting contact / cooperation FIRST.
you will be shocked to learn what the federal courts (and state too), will allow as evidence in a criminal case.
