The day before Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation trial against Fox News was set to begin in a Delaware courthouse, the Fox board of directors and top executives made a startling discovery that helped lead to the breaking point between the network and Tucker Carlson, one of its top stars.

I believe we see a similar situation with the RNC and PDJT. The whole purpose of which is to give the RNC an excuse to effectively “fire” PDJT, saying they can’t have a nominee that if elected could be inpeached as soon as he is sworn in.
Point is, he can NOT do what many here (including myself, before I thought it through) and LEAVE the Republican party to start his own A1 party.
He would be villified as a traitor, spoiler, bad loser, etc.
But, if he effectively forces them to “fire” him, he is free to start his OWN party, and they can’t use those criticisms.
I believe you’re right about Carlson and Fox. He was definitely pushing the boundaries, daring them to fire him. With Trump on the other hand when he wins the primaries and the RNC tries to pull a fast one at the convention that would end the party and their base would walk away. The RNC would still run a splitter candidate if Trump started his own party. In this scenario Trump would lose because of the splitter vote.
Trump’s best hope to win is staying within the Republican party even though they are going to be no help what so ever. In fact, yes, they are working against him. He’s going to have to set up his own ground game with the ballots. We will help him with that. He’s got to get into office first in order to effect the change the country and the RNC both need. As much as I would like to see a third party to compete against the uniparty I don’t think this election is the time except as a “Hail Mary” maneuver.

I don’t know why private messages from Tucker would have any bearing on the Dominion defamation file. The fact is Tucker never defamed Dominion Voting in his on-air coverage in fact he did the opposite. He strongly rebuked Sidney Powell on-air for her failure to produce evidence to back up her Dominion claims. Tucker made it clear to his viewers that there was no basis to the claim Dominion rigged the votes.
She had/has the evidence… there is a mountain of it… she didn’t ‘release it’ publically because the court of law is the correct place to produce that evidence – something to that effect was probably in his communications.
It’s why, IMO, no court would hear any of it; they all knew she has it – it was so obvious & blatant – & the judiciary is effectively controlled/corrupted by the usurpers.

Braun vs UAL – pilot alleged significant failures with DOT and FAA mandatory drug and alcohol testing. Currently before the ARB.
Witvliet vs UAL – pilot instructor alleged significant intentional deviation from standards in the training department. Case settled just before trial in March 2023. Both sides asked for settlement agreement to be placed under seal but judge refused, claiming public right to know via FOIA was greater – only redacted key (personal) paragraphs
Priddle vs UAL – largest AIR 21 case EVER. Trial concluded Oct 22. Pilot alleged significant safety and maintenance violations. Boeing (and FAA) aeronautical engineer testified that UAL flew an unsafe airplane and proved they falsified the maintenance logs. Captain testified that she caught UAL mechanics attempting to smuggle flight data recorder out of the country and reported it to police. UAL withdrew their expert and did not even cross examine Boeing engineer. Awaiting verdict. (All FOIAble OALJ Cases)
Don’t forget – Grant vs UAL in 2018 – (4th Circuit) – mechanic proved that UAL signed off inspections when they did not even have equipment at the facility, took parts off trash pile and installed them, logged as new.
Don’t forget Steenstra vs UAL and Hanamura vs UAL — where critically ill passengers who desperately need medical help are left to die (baby Hanamura) or scream in agony for hours before dying (govt employee Steenstra) because UAL is reducing medical diversions to save money …

It is legally mandated greed, encoded in our laws, to make sure that no pesky principles of right and wrong or cause of justice be held higher than the profit of a publicly held company.
I’m no lawyer, but this is what I see as the “excuse” made for hostile takeovers, and unethical corporate behavior that crushes the lives of everyday workers, or national economic strength, or the ability of grassroots start up companies to make it.
At Vanguard and Blackrock their investors own the companies that you list not Vanguard and Blackrock. A large portion of company stock that is parked at Vanguard and Blackrock is in ETF and mutual funds. The stocks that are held in ETF and mutual Funds is chosen based upon market weight. The larger the company the more weight it has in the fund or ETF.
Both of these companies also have brokerage accounts. Individual investors with stocks vote their own shares at shareholder meetings. Blackrock and Vanguard do not vote their shares even though the stocks are in Blackrock and Vanguard accounts.
The investors have the real power in this instance. Sure the investment houses have power, but only at the whim of the investor. The investors are the one with the money.
I do not have a Twitter account. It is one of those things I have boycotted, following the lead from W. Somerset Maugham about ‘new, great novels’ — if one just ignored the hype most would pass by and one needn’t bother at all. Saves a great deal of time. Important Twitter tidbits get posted here at CTH and those I watch – the rest are probably not that important.
Until now. How do I sign up so that I can keep track of what Tucker Carlson is doing – I do not want to take a chance of missing anything.
I am counting on the tech savvy to take pity and help me out. I spent the day trying to figure out how to get rid of my cable at home and yet keep the landline which I need as a backup for work. The only reason I kept cable was to watch Tucker.

I, like you have never had twitter. Your best bet is to find a young person, neighbor, grandchild,etc to help you install twitter. I am tech illirate.Last night my 22 year old granddaughter installed truth social in just a couple minutes. I had been trying for 6 months. Still don’t know if I’m going with twitter. Like you , I can click on here to get what I need…
You don’t have to get on Twitter to read posts. To search type “Twitter” and the name of the person/account you want to read in the search engine. You can read, you just can’t post.
I am not on Twitter, but I can read any tweet. I usually do this; [email protected].
I then read through Sundances’s tweets and retweets. There are a few people I also like to read, Barnes law being a vaporize, so I out that in the search box. Another is James Woods. See. Easy peash

We kept our landline too. Ditched AT&T directtv because of the garbage on it that I did not want in my home, and the price went up every other month. We were not desperate enough for tv to pay $167 a month for it (I remember when tv was free). Amazingly we can watch a lot of the tv commentary on Youtube.
This s one of the reasons I disagree with those to self righteously say “cut the cord” from Fox, or the military, or Boy Scouts — the cancel culture. Wisdom dictates a finer scalpel. The Word of God is a two edged sword finely dividing good from evil.
We self righteously say, everyone else who is really good should walk away from Fox. But a grassroots, guerilla army may be in those within who find themselves supporters of goodness and help turn the ship, or spy and pass on information.
Cut the cord if you are getting sick listening to Fox and only hoping to hear encouraging news. Cut the cord if you are being made spiritually sick by watching.
But if you see clearly, know right from wrong, and have the means of putting sunlight on Fox, throwing sand in the machinery, doing more for the cause of right against wrong — then stay involved, stay connected.
I wonder what the numbers are across the country on ratings for Fox – regarding viewers who in the early days of Fox News (I think it was 1995), turned on the tv on the way over to the kitchen to turn on the coffeemaker – then it was just left on there all day long and through the evening – oh, there might be other channels visited to see what the other guys were talking about or to watch a movie – but always back to Fox News until the tv was turned off at night.
Then after 2020, things were different!
How do they figure out advertising rates, anyway – do the advertisers get information directly from the cable companies and can they actually see which channels are being watched? That was not possible during the years of the rabbit ears (hence, the Nielsen boxes, ratings). Maybe it is a very dark and dirty secret in the advertising world re viewership/advertising rates and they are trying to keep it that way.
I type in the search engine “Twitter catturd” and the link comes up, I click on it and you can go read it. Works for all the accounts that I have tried to look at on Twitter, you can read but you can’t post—I’m not on Twitter. We got rid of our Direct TV but have an Internet connection, we have watched all Carlson’s shows on Youtube.

My wife wanted to listen to them one day while we were on a day trip. They were all about Republicans also ballot harvesting as THE answer to having a fighting chance in the 2024 elections.
