I was called for jury duty a while back. I sat on the jury four days. During our final instructions, I shared that I am a volunteer minister and Christian counsillor in the prison system. I said that I believe that truth is absolute.
The judge responded that state law requires that we have to set truth aside and acccept the evidence as presented as the truth. He then told me to get my jacket and leave.

We live in a culture in which Folks no longer believe that Truth exists, One specific Truth. Many believe that ‘truth’ is relative and is whatever one perceives it to be, those are the same that reside in their own little bubble.
A couple of yrs. ago I was driving a neighbor home and just before we arrived at his place he pointed to a tree and stated that the tree up ahead only existed because I perceived that it existed. I was a bit saddened when I heard this and said to him: “so, I guess that means that you do not believe that there is One true Truth”. The man got out of my car before I had even arrived at a complete stop.

I tried NewsMax tonight to see what they were saying. They were all relishing the large audience gain from those leaving Fox. But then I listened. Tucker was miles and miles ahead of any of the hosts. There did not seem to be any original thought. No insightful analysis of events of the day. There is no comparison to what Tucker brought to the table. It was as big a let down as the lack of J6 videos on Tuesday, the day after the the first were shown. There is no there there for me. It appears that podcasts and blogs are where the future will be for me.

I’m right there with you, Christina. The more you learn about these folks, the more repugnant they are. Ingraham and Hannity are particularly grating. Hannity had to bring in a cheering section to break up the droning of the anchor. I still watch The Five, but Perino is not a MAGA person. Accomplished, well-schooled, but won’t save the country. Tucker is really a good man. I used to email him when he was on Fox and Friends Weekend. He offered to give my son a tour of the studios along with his cell phone number because my son lived on 47th Street across the street from FOX studios. I have been bummed out since Monday when I first heard the news about Tucker but seeing this lifted me up and gave me hope.
My hope has been that Tucker will return soon and that he will do that exact same type of show broadcast LIVE at 8PM every night! Not only will it fill the void left at 8PM for me but it will also ensure further erosion of Fox’s disastrous new ratings (last night Fox was down 70% in the demo at 8PM vs. a week ago!).
By “same type of show” I mean the same format. A long monologue to begin with covering the most important issue(s) of that day followed by a series of quick paced segments as opposed to a long-form interview show or talk show. It was good to see him in the same studio and I hope he keeps that the same along with the same graphics (minus the Fox logo of course). His executive producer Justin Wells left with him and I suspect that they can put the same team together to do a nightly show beginning at 8 PM. The only change I would make is extending the show to 90 minutes which will wipe out a big portion of Hannity’s viewers.
The only question is where will Tucker land? I was looking at Spotify’s numbers and they have 220 million paid subscribers which is mind blowing! By comparison Fox Nation reportedly just had 1 million paid subscribers! I suspect there is a good chance Tucker will go to Spotify. They are paying Joe Rogan a reported $200 million on a 3.5 year contract so no doubt they could pay Tucker handsomely. I think Tucker would be even more valuable than Rogan.
The only problem with Spotify for Tucker’s format is that it isn’t a video platform.
Tucker isn’t Rush. His format, at which he excels, is written, recited, performed, and produced with selections of video clips. A whole different brain is required for live, off-script banter, and I’m sure he would agree.
Rush admitted he wasn’t suited for TV, that his home was radio. Tucker is the reverse.
Preferably either one of the subscription-based platforms — Substack comes to mind, or Spotify — will soon realize they should also offer video, or Twitter gets it in gear with their monetization ideas.

The tangible signs and concrete manifestations of the new era where all nations will come under one government daily impels us to question how are we to handle all manner of persecutions we see happening globally; when the loss of life fighting the oppressors and personal death executions come for those who will have to face them. Christians who refuse to receive the mark of the Beast will then find themselves marginalized and persecuted. How will we cope in such a situation?

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.’
For those of us who should have to face physical persecution, do we question how afraid or willing are we about losing our lives for Christ’s sake? When we have claim to “for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”
Forever is our undying hope, tough for most of us. We can’t ever be sure; yet ever so sure and willing (before) the moment, when we actually face the shedding of our blood. There is a price that we must be willing to pay .. that price may even include death, the ultimate, for those who come to face this which requires God’s grace we should all pray for.
Yet, while we walk one foot on this heaven on earth; our other foot is only on the heavenly heaven. Both require our complete body, heart, mind, soul in spirit with exultant expectation that we, while alive; of all human generations in time and space after Jesus died, would be so blessed, should it be the Father’s Will we get to see Jesus face to face among the living on earth that day!
True Cause. The path is narrow, always have been. It gets narrower yet. Stay on it.
