On that basis, I wondered if any prayers existed concerning Blessed Franz Jägerstätter (“Blessed” is the stage before Sainthood), which could be used to focus our thoughts on steeling ourselves and securing a positive future for America.
In English I could find nothing.
An Austrian website in German, however, offered this salient prayer: (my translation).

It struck me yesterday, that if we really believe in the power of prayer, it is time to enlist the aid – however such things work – of Blessed Franz Jägerstätter, whose example of Courage is an example for us today, as we see Evil spreading across the land, and an example for all times.
Every day we see the Evil of The Deep State on the march, sometimes in small ways, sometimes in large ones, a bulldozer of Evil claiming to be for us, claiming to be Christian (take your pick of lying politicians), claiming to be “building” America, when in fact they are wrecking everything from our virtues, to our schools, to our economy, to our heritage, and on and on!
Resisting this bulldozer can be wearing, as much of it is psychological and spiritual: a simple prayer like the above may have more power in it than we can know.
Franz Jägerstätter is one of my Hero’s of the Faith. Read his story years ago and realized he was a man who was walking in the footsteps of Jesus. His is a life worthy of emulation. He even went against the counsel of several church leaders and chose rather to suffer the affliction of Christ than to follow the majority. We need to study his life example.

Apparently, this bill was killed by DeSantis. The alternative bill being promoted, SB252, according to activists, reportedly “forces employees to follow federal government mandates and opens the door to the World Health Organization to control our health policies.

Update on Florida House and Senate bill CS/SB7050. This is an elections bill that includes an amendment to the Resign to Run law, enabling DeSantis to run for president without first resigning the governor’s office. (See Sundance’s post yesterday for the background and scheme behind this move.)
