Papa Joe and Teddy were the worst of the bunch. They were corrupt and Old Joe had a passion for power and money that he accumulated ruthlessly. He was very in line with his peers of that era. One step from the Rockefellers and the others of that ilk. Joe was determined one of his sons become President. The eldest son Joe was the designate until he died. John was next and he was successfully elected and it was pretty much suspected there were vote manipulations that helped get JFK elected.
The Kennedy family were not lily white by any stretch and yet, there were plenty of AMerica loving moments from their clan. They truly loved America and they loved their family. JFK and RFK faced down some pretty bad dudes and both lost their lives because of it. Like them or not, they are a rich part of American history with a lot of influence in the 40s-70s. Maybe we should just listen to what he is saying, watch what he does and judge from there about the man. The quiet inter-state attack upon the Bill of Rights and Constitution has just taken on a very dangerous dimension. One that ensures it will be irrecoverable if we ignore it much longer.
The “faithful commissioner” bill is patently unconstitutional.
Legislation paves the way. All the major assaults on America and our most essential liberties seems to come out of no where, and then, there never seems to be anyone, or anyway to reverse them? Such a legislative pincer move to replace the Constitution is underway in North Carolina – one also led by the Republicans.
Although Article V Convention (ConCon) efforts have been discussed here at CTH on occasion, HB648 is new. Like most major assaults, the new groundwork is being coordinated across individual States by lobbyists and legislators with greed and/or treasonous intent. Lawfare foundations are being laid to ensure such a convention will be unstoppable by the people.
SUMMMARY:
In advance of the unconstitutional Article V legislation, this bill establishes prosecution authority for the state legislature to recall, penalize, fine or even imprison delegates who do not obey the instructions of their state legislature for an Article V convention.
BUT – if there ever was such a convention, the attending delegates are directly representing the People, not the state legislatures, not Congress. In fact they are already amending this still-proposed amendment to make it a felony!
“Section 1 of the proposed legislation would amend Chapter 120 of the General Statutes by adding a new Article titled, “Article 31A. Faithful Article V Commissioner Act.” Subsection (h) of the amended statute—G.S. 120-272.100—would establish a new Class I felony for any person who exceeds the scope of their authority at an interstate convention.”
Here in NC, Article V legislation is pushed by a group of Republicans and their donors/lobbyists, year after year. Fortunately so far, the thinly veiled legislation has been narrowly defeated by a highly dedicated citizen group and some aware legislators.
Remember this is not just NC. Article V coercion is happening in some form, in most states. Who wants to beleive that “lawmakers’ who have done nothing to stop the assault on our freedom, liberty and Constitution are the same ones championing its rewrite.

Interesting additional perspective about Fox firing Tucker. Dick Morris’s observation is that it’s essentially narcissism. Murdoch didn’t get anything from Trump (power, influence etc) when Fox in general supported him because Trump doesn’t play that game. The Murdoch’s don’t need any more money, they have more than they’ll ever spend. So what is left is social acceptance at all the right parties etc.
Morris’ thoughts are that this is the last gasp of the dying Rino faction (Republican and anti-Trump) and that it’s a good thing Fox has flown its anti-conservative flag unmistakedly high by firing Tucker so even those who were at least somewhat unaware are very clear now.

I don’t recall when Fox in general supported Trump. Maybe they were a bit less aggressively anti-Trump than the rest of the news, but that’s all.
Mostly in pre-2016 election once Trump emerged as the forerunner, and for a time thereafter, Fox news was generally favorable towards Trump. (just ask Ted Cruz). But after Trump was in office Fox didn’t get the expected “I scratch your back, you scratch mine” special treatment from the President so they flip flopped. Dick Morris explains this in the video.
I never heard of this guy before and found the interview very informative. My take on this is that both the action of firing Tucker and the fold on the Dominion case are aimed at Trump. I would like to see a few wealthy people buy the majority of stocks of Fox and put Tucker in charge. Let us get back some of the folks they fired for being on point and get rid of Geraldo and all the other lefties who haven’t told the truth since 2016.

Her story is utterly ridiculous. Trump was a celebrity then. He wouldn’t be out strolling through department stores by himself (in the women’s section no less), and if he had been, there would have been people gawking. And the idea that someone in his position would force himself on a woman in the way described in that setting is just not believable. But I wouldn’t count on a New York jury to get it right.
I saw a fairly recent interview she had given when she said “it really wasn’t rape, it was such a short time & very inconsequential” or something to that effect. I didn’t think to save it at the time but should not be hard to locate on the web. She also stated something to the effect that the only reason she was bringing a suit against Trump was to help other women who had been raped (not by him), but just in general. Hope his lawyers find this interview & play it in court.

I’ve listened and the thing I can’t get my head around is how can Ukraine and their people endure/ support whatever the KIA and WIA casualty numbers that apparently range into in excess of 600,000 or even more?

I’d guess there are a lot of parents who would like to pull their kids out of public school.
For many parents I think public school is perceived as a necessary baby sitter while they are at work. I’ve scanned some homeschooling websites and two of the top issues for parents are childcare when both parents work and carving out the time after work to prepare lesson plans and teach.
I think it’d be a great idea to organize as a group of parents and combine resources to find a homeschooler for a bunch of kids. It would help defray costs and perhaps allow parents to continue working.
