NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.
Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.
Tucker Carlson had the number one rated news and broadcast show across the entire media industry.
An immediate firing with no further shows?

My father went to Europe and back on Cunard ships (Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth) in 1965. I went aboard and took a quick tour of the Queen Mary, docked at Pier 54 on New York City’s west side, the day of his departure. Awesome ship.

There are many people right now languishing in poverty because they refused to take the clotshots.

You do make a good point… But there are advertisers that specifically bought time on Tucker’s show because at times he had over 4 million watching at one time. They won’t pay that money when no one is watching.
Rates for the ads will probably go down without Tucker’s ratings to keep them high.

One of the benefits of Tucker being on national cable in prime time was his ratings.
He beat the competition week after week after week.
I think Tucker’s speech was the turning point.
It was emotional, personal, focussed on ethics from a moralistic perspective. He’s usually droll, somewhat sarcastic and a master of rhetoric. But his speech was direct and unambiguous.
He must have realized that Fox was a dead end where he always would be constrained. And Fox realized that he was becoming unpredictable and thus would dig deeper into uncomfortable territory.

Tucker Carlson did not sell his soul like the others. That shows he is a good person. He sounded the alarm at Heritage. We all need to sound the alarm with our families. The truth has power.

Tucker on Fox , was the only one we listened to since November 2020.
Before November 2020, we had Fox on all the time.
With Tucker Carlson’s firing, there is no one in the Mainstream Media pushing back on the lies of the Regime. And now, the Regime will repress the truth even more—MUCH more. More lies are coming—with no one left to push back.

There DOES seem to be a certain pattern, with constant drumbeat, assertions without reciepts “His DAD worked for the gummint!” (like 40 YEARS AGO!) and dismissing of any who offer any resistance or argument, including the most basic ones;
Firstly, Sundance (in recent months) was posting more stories with embedded links to TC, than to ANY other, despite having lots to choose from, and Secondly
ANYONE ( until NOW) could simply WATCH TC’s shows, and make up their OWN mind.
So, once again WHY would commenters regularly post comments, EVERY TIME the thread mentions TC, denigrating him and asserting with only flimsiest of evidence, that HE is “an enemy agent”,..?

Tucker Carlson departs Fox News, pushed out by Rupert Murdoch

People familiar with the situation who were not authorized to comment publicly said the decision to fire Carlson came straight from Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch.
Carlson’s exit is related to the discrimination lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg, the producer fired by the network last month, the people said.
Murdoch is also said to be concerned over Carlson’s coverage of the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, in which the host has promoted the conspiracy theory that it was provoked by government agents.
Carlson has called Ray Epps — a Texas man who participated in the storming of the Capitol but did not enter the building — an FBI plant, without presenting any evidence.
Epps was interviewed Sunday on “60 Minutes” and said he has been subjected to death threats as a result of Carlson’s statements about him. The FBI told “60 Minutes” that Epps has never worked for the agency.
The decision is not related to the $787.5-million settlement Fox News agreed to pay to Dominion Voting Systems last week, according to a representative for Dominion.
However, some of the comments that Carlson had made about management in communications that turned up in the discovery process for the case may have also played a role in Carlson’s demise.
Dominion accused Fox of knowingly making false claims related to the 2020 election.
Grossberg was moved off of “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo” and onto “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” where she said was bullied and subjected to antisemitic comments. She filed a lawsuit in New York.
