In a stunning development at Fox News, it appears they have fired the #1 television news host/pundit in the industry.

NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.
Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.
Tucker Carlson had the number one rated news and broadcast show across the entire media industry.
An immediate firing with no further shows?

Watch his speech to the Heritage Foundation last Friday. It was a cri de coeur from a man who has come to the realization that we all, as individuals, have to stand up for what we know is true and valuable in society. Whether or not his speech was before or after conversations with Fox about his continuation of his show could be illuminating. I suspect that the limitation of his show on the Jan 6 tapes to only one night was a contributing factor. Surely that censorship had to hurt a journalist who wants to expose the truth.
Here’s a thought. All of the Fox stable of journalists should also leave Fox for a cable destination that will give them ownership. They would automatically become a giant in the industry by taking their popularity and talent elsewhere, leaving old man Rupert and his sons in their dust.

So whether the country is stolen from them or not, or whether Tucker is gone or not, that audience wants to laugh, that’s their main concern, so Fox will put Jesse Watters on at 8pm and try to keep the older women laughing with him, as Biden whoops Trump again.

The die was cast when Tucker began questioning the Fed-surrection narrative, the basis for the regime’s targeting of conservatives. After that, there was no contract they were going to agree to. There is an election coming up and Trump is public enemy #1 and the steal is not set in stone. In that context, the last thing they need is Tucker roiling the waters and calling things as they really are. This was an ideological decision, not one of business.
But like most ideologues, the Fox zealots only see the righteousness of their cause, not the consequences. If the 2020 call didn’t wake conservatives up, this should – it’s time to ‘Bud Light’ Fox News. There is no point to make in the effort, it’s just time for them to crash and burn.

Wow! At first I was angry and upset, but the more I think about it I’m seeing this as a GOOD thing. This gives Tucker a lot more credibility now. I mean yeah, he had already earned some in recent months, but there were some of us who (rightly so) still weren’t 100% certain we should always trust him… mainly BECAUSE he was working for FOX. But now that’s not an issue.
And of course the other positive from this is that it very well could be the DEATH BLOW to FOX. They had already done a lot of damage to themselves over the years, especially since the stolen election. But dumping Tucker? Wow, this is plain ole suicidal. Whatever boycott we (Trump supporters) had done before had generally been a bit lukewarm. Not so now! I don’t see how FOX survives this. GOOD!
Much of the Fox audience now is older women, and the network is being run by middle age drunk women, so they’re going to try to put a guy on like Jesse Watters to regain the middle age older drunk audience, and much of that audience just wants to watch to have fun, so if Tucker is gone, they’ll enjoy laughing and smiling with Jesse Watters as the country is stolen right out from under them and Biden beats Trump like a drum, again.
Watters is a turn off to most women. He’s a sycophant of Bill O’Reilly.
It’s smart-azzed young males who like him the way they like Gutfeld.
Gutfeld’s politics are good and he can really be insightful, but his humor is straight out of 5th grade, with fart jokes, vomit jokes and such.
IMO, Gutfeld’s show is dark & vulgar. The people aren’t likable & who cares about their neuroses & sordid extracurricular activities? The occasional real comedy like the Biden look-a-like skits are few and far between. That show won’t float the network. FOX is toast.
