NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.
Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.
Tucker Carlson had the number one rated news and broadcast show across the entire media industry.
An immediate firing with no further shows?

After a few years of not watching, I went back specifically for Tucker. He’s gone and so am I. For good.
Funny about the timing of his firing. I was telling a friend that Hannity was on his way out given his ratings and feeble attempts with “live audiences.” I always preferred Bill O’Reilly to Hannity who is a dullard. Tucker was better than Bill, not that that matters now.

My opinion s that this is a BS coverup story…that the real reason is that Tucker’s speech to Heritage was far too honest and factual for the corporate & government fascists to tolerate. It was the “final straw”.
I agree the Abby story is window dressing, but the final decision may have nothing to do with the speech at Heritage. I believe Murdock started this line of thinking when Tucker aired the Shaman Jan 6 footage. I think calling out the FBI’s lies over the Jan 6 theatre that Nancy orchestrated to allow Pence and Congress to legitimately refrain from addressing the election discrepancies was a bridge too far. After all, the Uniparty was in agreement that Biden not Trump had won, must have won. He forced Tucker Carlson to toe the corporate line on his remaining shows. There may have been considerable conflict ever since the Shaman airing that we are not privy to that led to this final decision. There is a lot surrounding this that we do not know and may never know.
Actually Emerald Robinson is reporting an inside rumor is that Tucker on Monday morning was ordered by an Executive Producer (who got her orders from the top) to NOT broadcast his Monday night show he & his team were preparing to attack the 60 minutes Ray Epps interview that had aired Sunday night.
This order apparently violated the non-interference clause in Tucker’s contract so he quit on the spot. Since Fox violated the contract, they have to pay Tucker the balance of the contract. This fits with Sundance’s reporting that Fox decided to take the $$ hit along with the $787M “court-ordered”

Radio is a dying medium. New cars won’t have AM-capable radios in them. The younger gens don’t listen to radio; only to Spotify and music streaming sources. Tuckers style includes visual aids, video clips, photos, etc. He will find a Tv or streaming video home soon.
All ‘push’ media are dying. Streaming has already won, inflicting a Mortal Kombat worthy fatality on legacy platforms. I’m a bit surprised that broadcast/ cable is still running at all.
A LOT of senior citizens still watch TV News and do not use or access the internet for anything other than email. A LOT of working class blue collar folks come home at night at turn on the TV news because they are too tired to sit in front of a computer and think through accessing various internet sites and navigating THAT mess of Java-scripted pop-ups, advertising, and clickbait.. I know because I know senior citizens and hard working blue collar folks who know other senior citizens and there hard working blue collar folks.
The old folks depend on their adult children to keep their old computers working for email and they don’t bother with much else. The blue collar folks talk about what they see on local news or Fox News and thats about it. Most of them in my region still use Comcast (Xfinity) cable TV. We are in a suburban / rural / semi-rural region, though a few still live in the northern areas of Baltimore City. Many rural areas still don’t have cable service and people use antennas to receive digital TV broadcasts but have no internet except thru cellular service.

Personally, Tucker was the only real show I watched on Fox. Hannity would come on and would turn the channel.
Fox will learn I am not the only one.
My guess is that Tucker wanted to confront the Ray Epps 60 minutes piece head-on and had the goods on him. Management wanted changes that he wouldn’t make so he walked out.
I’ve been saying for a year or two now, that I can’t believe Murd0ch let him pull the curtain back on the DC Cartel for this long, particularly since Murd0ch was in on the coup beforehand. There aren’t enough r0pes for all the seditionists in the fake news and DC.
