Consider this an open thread on this interview which will broadcast tonight at 8:00pm ET, along with a good preview by Tucker Carlson below.
The topic of Musk is interesting from multiple perspectives, particularly in an era of universal deceit, pretending and openly exposed manipulation of information by government and govt stakeholders. I have my own keen reasons to watch the Musk dynamic closely, one of them pertains to the Twitter situation and what it means in the bigger sphere of communication.
Readers here will long remember my outline of the Twitter/Govt dynamic. However, lesser focused is my empirical belief that a collaborative financial relationship, a subsidy of sorts, had to exist given the nature of both public and private enterprises. The lesser discussed aspect to social media is the scale and cost of operations in proportion to the revenue the platforms can create.
Musk has essentially confirmed the basic premise I always believed about this public-private partnership; however, what has never been discussed is the financial subsidy for the data processing -and hardware- at scale. People shrug off this part of the equation, but if you look at the financial moves Mr. Musk is making through the prism of trying to break free of a background financial dependency/subsidy, while simultaneously maintaining viable platform operations, then suddenly some of his moves make sense.
If you are watching the interview tonight, use this thread to share opinion, and I will update with video after broadcast.
PS. We have already peered into the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a decade ago presented the image of what it looks like.
If you think about it to context, everything comes together in this very predictable dynamic.
As we shared more than a decade ago, pictures are worth a multitude of words.

I do think Musk is trying to make Twitter financially independent from the feds, or at least make them pay openly for their “services”.
well, they’re droning on and on about AI in the opening segment
snore
waiting for the Twitter skinny
Elon seems awkward.
He looked more comfortable with the British journalist.
Keep in mind he did just have a space ship take-off that had to be rescheduled. So he does have other things on his mind too.
That was today. I don’t think they recorded the interview today.
Doesn’t he have some form of autism? Everytime I’ve seen him, it’s more like he’s got a million things on his mind.
He has admitted to having suffered from Asperger’s syndrome since he was a child.l
I think he has been doing psychedelics again.
He always seems awkward, his speech pattern reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger; I always wonder if he might be the lesser of evils lurking out there in the tech industry, he did express an interest in safety, FWIW.
Same. Weird, and Zuckerberg a Liberal?
Voted for Biden?
Beyond my brain.
Intelligent yet lacking common sense….or something worse.
What would those” Services”. Be?
I can only suspect that the free coffee is because the feds are letting Tritter use the Utah Super Server for free.
Just noticed your handle–it’s funny!
Is there ever any case of anyone circlin’ back down the drain??
After all, they once thought black holes were a one-way street…
A new twist in the plot as it thickens.
While distracted the next few days, try to pay attention to what else goes on or is released and glossed over.
Fed coin
UNICOIN (UMU) launched a few days ago
Indeed. WTH is going on here?
And just where did this guy come from in the first place?

Excellent documentary!
Thanks for sharing.
Geraldo will also be there, to open the Twitter safe.
Gerrys second biggest on air blunder, his first being “we’re 2 clics ne east of,…”
Which one was first?
Al Capone’s Vaults series.
Al Capone’s vaults. My roomates and I made a party of it ,
with plenty of beer and pizza. Back in my single days.
What was said after NOTHING was found won’t be printed
on this website. But we did have fun flinging empty pizza
boxes at the screen when Geraldo came up empty handed.
He made up for it by showing the Zapruder film on his show.
My chuckle for the day….
That goes waaayyy back
Ha!!!!!!
Can’t resist a comment on Geraldo. People here may remember that as a war correspondent in the second Gulf War, he got kicked out of theatre due to broadcasting troop movements.
Sad time for him as he left the troop cantonment. All the soldiers lined up to shake hands as he was about to be helo’d out. Those soldiers hadn’t cleaned up for three weeks or so. Story is, that they wiped their hands in their buttcracks prior to bidding the fine Geraldo farewell.
Sundance, you used that word, “stakeholders”. Does that translate “club members”? Usually when I see that word — seldom from our people, you’re the first I’ve seen use it — that’s what it seems to mean when I view it in context.
Not trying to answer for SD, but I infer “government stakeholders” to mean, collectively, the Establishment, the Uniparty, the various government agencies/ institutions whose continued existence (despite horrendous corruption) rely on the government being able to control and use Twitter in the way they have been using it up to Musk’s purchase and afterwards, despite many previously-banned accounts being reinstated.
The government has invested a ton of money into Twitter, but not for the benefit of We The People, it has been only for those who gain and maintain power in government (and resulting wealth) via information control.
Thanks, Bari.
I see it used a whole lot by WEF-types when discussing their various global governance plans, and it always seems to mean exactly what you say, and yes, “members of the Club” or “the anointed”, in every instance I’ve seen it.
I’ve done Google Trends searches for the word and it doesn’t seem to have recently become a thing, as it is a common bit of business terminology, but my own lying eyes have seen a massive increase in its use in political speech. It seems to be surging as some sort of buzzword or inside-baseball dog whistle for the initiated, and refers directly *to* the initiated.
A stakeholder is someone who says “that deal you got going? I’m cut in on it now”.
Someone who sees your stake and takes hold of it.
I am aware of the dictionary definition. See my reply to Bari about why I think there is a very new, and occult, usage that is mostly divorced from the original Webster’s definition.
It seems to recur in every single WEF speech, WHO speech, and in all their written communication.
I want to like Musk, but he seems very financially connected to the ccp.
well, they HAVE cornered the market on electric-car battery manufacture and supply
I think he runs a company that relies on those
LOL!
Sometimes, my memory precedes me, nim.
yes it IS a problem…but to put it into perspective…tesla manufacturing in china and batteries PALE in comparison to the incredible amount of goods (and services) that have been offshored to china from nearly every single major US and foreign corporation. Just back of napkin, tesla and ev batteries make up about less than 1 percent of the total gross manufacturing power that china produces.
I agree it is a problem….and Elon will have to confront this problem if he expects to remain independent and have a viable global business. He will learn, like almost all US and foreign companies have learned…to do business with china…to access the skilled labor industry and it’s economies of scale ON THE CHEAP…means transferring intellectual property and assets…china steals and when they do it well, it steals entire market making power. tesla will not fail because the product is bad…it will fail because elon and his company have put too much trust in a country that has proven to steal trade secrets and then jump entire global markets. (and yes, this applies to military manufacturing too)
Elon “does it” because the US does not have anywhere close to the manufacturing capacity or the high skill labor markets willing to work for cheap. if tesla manufactured all it’s ev’s in the US tomorrow, they would go for over 200,000 starting…that’s the reality. And all corporations KNOW THIS. Walmart, microsoft, apple, amazon, sams club, target, lowes, home depot, nike, pepsi, kellog…you name it…just about every single product we commonly think of as a US company depends entirely on china to do the work. It’s insanely inefficient…but it works because if these US companies decided to on short manufacturing..it would take about 50 years just to get competitive. And not all competitors would abide by the America First policy…and nor would consumers be expected to pay 500 dollars for something they can buy for 50 in another store.
it’s a trap…from a long duration practice of off shoring business to china.
the US is indeed in a pickle.
we make jokes about the EU being stupid with it’s energy policies…germany just shut down it’s last nuclear power plant.
but we seldom look honestly at what is happening here in the US…if we don’t start making the investments and strategies for a 50, 100, 500 years national economic security plan..china is going to own everything..and very quickly.
just my opinion
God Bless America
They go overseas for the subsidy from the foreign governments, the tax advantages, bribes, manipulated currency valuations, off shore laundering and expanded profit margins.
And they are not efficient. The quality control/assurance is way below American skill sets but they can afford to cull the lesser quality overseas product.
A perfect example is when Trump was in office and he flipped the script on taxation (domestic vs foreign rates), tariffs to offset prior damages and currency manipulation from foreign countries and cut bs domestic regulatory obstacles and manufacturing was flooding back in.
I work in the construction industry and with capital and a plan, a facility can be up and running depending on size, scale or application in 1-3 years tops if the projects are released unhindered by governor obstacles.
It is all political and corrupt. We can make anything we want better than anyone else, faster than anyone else given support vs obstruction and be completely self sufficient. But it wouldn’t be as profitable for Wall Street though more stable economically.
Regi, I think there are a few things slightly different in Tesla’s case then your understanding of them. I’m fairly certain that Tesla is the only US company manufacturing in China without partnering with the CCP. So the problem of the “night shift” is not the same for them. From what I’m seeing, Elon is not interested in making cars in China for wealthy countries, but rather for poor countries. He just built a factory in Germany and another in Texas to handle Europe and the United States. It seems the biggest problem he has had so far is dealing with the Biden Administration, which pretended he didn’t exist since he refuses to unionize his factories and hire the woke excretia produced by our diploma stores. And he’s managed to do all this while growing his company exponentially. Impressive dude
the tesla cars manufactured in china was indeed established through direct CCP agreements. LIKE ALL OTHER BUSINESS DEALS WITH CHINA CORP. This is the reason WHY taiwan is a very serious issue. Western (or non- ccp china corp) corporations have direct business agreements with chip maker/die factories and other high tech manufacturing plants in taiwan…effectively side stepping ccp corp contracts!
tesla cars in china are produced mostly for china only markets but are also sold to australia, phillipines, korea, japan…about 52 percent of all tesla cars manufactured in china…and never get sold to US or european markets. That’s the control of CCP corp but also ironically an outcome amplified by Trump trade policies…which aren’t unique…there are no ev cars manufactured in china, owned by china corp that are sold in the US.
I agree Elon is a bright entrepeneur and he has some social commentary worth a listen.
but he will eventually get slammed in china…like all big corps eventually are. While tesla numbers are over half manufactured in china and sold there….BYT and some other EV’s are starting to compete..and they are cheaper too..and the same performance…(I wonder where they go that technology? /s)

In a world where most people simply bend the knee, I’m always grateful to anyone who is willing and stands some chance to disrupt the status quo. The list is short. And there are a lot of pretenders. The ones who have impressed me are President Trump, Governor DeSantis, Elon Musk, and Tucker Carlson. And I don’t include DeSantis to annoy Sundance, looks like he has him pegged dead to rights. But he has done some good things in the last 4 years as my governor. This should be an interesting interview tonight.
I dont know much of DeSantis background and early days, but IF this is true—it is highly disturbing! I hope it is not, but came from a lady who is careful about what she puts out.
https://healthimpactnews.com/2023/americans-beware-what-belies-the-smile-of-ron-desantis/
Oh my gosh! 🙁 I read the article at that link; it’s AWFUL! 🙁 You may want to read this Sundance (though it is difficult to do); it paints an UGLY picture of DeSantis.
Not buying it
If you did some real research
3 out of the 4 you listed are
Working for the WEF!
So thanks for letting us know you only skim off the top!
So Tucker is working for the WEF?
Got a link on that by any chance?
Who does the guy who signs his pay check answer to?
Just use some logic to find the link.
So we have established that if someone pays you you will lie and shill. This s your ethic and projection about Tucker..yet Tucker will tell you he lied about Iraq, was utterly ashamed and swore to never do so again..for money nor material gain.. Nice smear pops.
Tucker openly mocked a credentialed, honest man and scientist, on FOX, about the 9/11 dust that was tested and what was found in it. Dr Jones was and still is, a good and decent human being. Tucker literally pretended not to know things. It was not a good look.
From that point on, I take him with a grain of salt. I watched that video live, way back when, and saw how he operates.
Yes, he talks about things no one will, or has, but that doesn’t get him a pass in my books.
I trust not 1 of these MSM talking heads. Him included.
The jury is still out on Elon, but I love what he just did to the MSM liars and their Bios on Twitter.
The CBC label is pure Elon trolling them. They stated they were less than 70 per cent Government funded, so he stuck them with a 69 per cent label.
44 billion was well worth it troll those liars. 🙂
No
You just took what I said and just generalized and compared it to your imagination!!
Stop your bs
Let me spell it out for you specifically
Tucker is paid by Rupert Murdock
Who is connected to the WEF.
What part of that is not a FACT?
think a little harder skippy!!
FACTS are not a smear
And how dare you take
What I say into your overactive imagination
and generalize and misrepresent what I said!
Insulting posters here doesn’t fly well.
Just a heads up, before SD or Ad Rem tune you up.
Dial back the personal attacks, it adds to nothing.
Its called defending myself
So
That person didn’t personally attack me first?
In my own opinion…he also has a contract and I would assume there are stipulations related to his quest for ratings.
Interesting that you included DeSantis because he initially impressed me; however, I quickly saw that he was a cowardly rino who was completely self absorbed. While you might like him, I’m pretty certain he doesn’t care one iota about you and his constituents
Look at Giorgia Meloni in Italy. Talked a great game. Total lay down for the globalist migration agenda after taking office. As noted above, I think the next wave are all going to be pretenders, not just the meatball
So when Musk was looking into buying Twitter & his team was pouring over the books, didn’t the gov’t subsidized infrastructure, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, maybe billions, not standout in the ledger book?
And if it was hidden, wouldn’t there have been a giant black hole? A wait-a-minute moment? A WTF?
You’re saying Musk knew, but bought it anyway with the intention of steering it away from gov’t control to
create a truly free speech social platform? Knowing he’s going up against the most ruthless sons of bitches to ever walk the halls of gov’t.
Hmm..
Atta boy!
That’s what I’ve been talkin’ ‘bout!!!!!!!
Short answer = No. IMHO.
I believe the government hid the magnitude and depth of their involvement in Twitter by NOT paying Twitter the majority of costs of everything that the government built, primarily operated, and from which it benefitted. I think the government simply supplied all that but kept the accounting “off the books” using funds that were either very general in description or approved for some other use.
Twitter could easily be compensated by acquiring “free” hardware infrastructure from the government. No money needed. And it seems that the DOD can never keep track of its property as they lowballed the price of everything left behind in Afghanistan.
This. I would believe this. And the government’s own programmers write the interface/API. It wouldn’t show up in the financial books.
You’d only find it if you did an analysis of the network packets to see where they’re going, what they contain, what they do, etc. An analysis of that magnitude would not typically be done as part of due diligence.
Now you are onto a more realistic answer…. see my comment just above in reply to Gildie.
More b.s by the billionaire media club and its 2 lacky mouthpieces.
When it comes to AI, I also see the red eye of Hal saying “I can’t do that, Dave” leading to the pic Sundance posted.
As for me n mine, we’re down there next to the windmill.
Anybody a link to watch this…no tv here.
Is there a live link to the interview? How may one watch it?
it has not aired yet. Standby and a link will be posted when available. Starts in about 6 minutes 😉
Thanks! Waiting for the link. (I don’t have the fox app)

Tucker is talking about that stuff people say he never talks about…
All while eating 🦗
He is so talented!
We need an army of John Connor’s….or perhaps one who is keen on “setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”
T/C IS fascinating. Due to dyslexia, he doesn’t read at CTH, TGP, or any of the rebel alliance, doesn’t watch ANY TV, either.
As a result, its like watching somebody going thru the red pilling process, in slow motion.
And each time, he’s like a small child “Wow! I had no idea they were lieing about THAT!”
I don’t think its an act, I think it IS a childlike naivete and innocence, being pealed away week by week.
To me, fascinating to watch these “historical documents”.
Imagine how his broadcasts and Sundances articleswill be viewed, in 50-100 years.
Tucker used to be on CNN and was a friend of Hunter’s.
Just say’in.
And he is eating crickets on TV to normalize it.
That sounds like a little WEF propaganda he slips in there between the truth exposure.
I was unable to watch the whole interview…was he eating crickets? Wow…
No.
When he said the crickets were delicious we turned the channel.
Back in the early 2000’s, I watched Tucker pretend not to know things. He mocked a good man as well.
I dont trust him, or anyone else, paid to talk on any MSM news. Period, and I care not who that person is. He takes their money, just like the rest. They, as in, the owners of all the MSM networks. 6 people own it all. They have an agenda, each and every one. And it is not to be our friends, or tell truth. Tucker is not exempt from that.
Good way to live a life, is to not trust anything on TV.
CUT THE CORD
My guess is the financial subsidy is “gifted” in a sense. Elon plays nice with Twitter and the Boys and he gets all kinds of rocket business and favorable treatment for his EV business too. I suspect Elon may have a skeleton or two that he’d prefer not be let out of their closets. We’ll see…
There is the part where Elon’s rockets, are the only game in town, to reach the Space Station, at this point in time. Russia can do it, but that ride is also out of the market, you know, because Ukraine, and all the WW Reddit business.
How that plays into what he says and does is beyond my pay grade, but that is a fact.
NASA got out of that business, and literally no one else can do it right now.
At first, Musk made the offer to buy Twitter and there was a huge Twitter revolt. He was rebuffed and they were appalled. But then, just maybe, the underlying infrastructure thought of the inroads to battery-powered cars, outer space travel, satellite internet, Twitter, and Neuralink. Sounds like the underlying infrastructure thought of cross-functionalism the way School Choice infiltrated private schools? Just a hypothesis.
For clarification – I do like Musk. I hope that I’m wrong and he’s a white hat. We just don’t know for sure in this hollywood drama.
Xiden sure seems to be pushing a lot of EV cars that evil Elon the “twitter-overlord” and “twitter data dumper” makes. Is the government writing huge purchase orders, while insulting Musk? We’ve never seen that strategy before, have we??? Demonize China while selling the China the farm?
FJB had a meeting of all the EV manufacturers not so long ago, and the only one not to be invited, was, ” ahem “, Tesla. The company that produces the most EV’s in the world.
Im not sure why his company was not invited, but that happened, and Elon was not real happy about it.
So many games and plot lines, its hard to gulp it all down, never mind understand it.
Perhaps SD has a theory about that meeting, and why Tesla was blacklisted. I dont get it, myself!
The Blacklist might of been over Twitter.
Not sure about that. Hard to say why.
Considering most of those who attended got a taxpayer funded bailout, via the Obama Regime.
Elon even voted for Biden.
Not too sure about it, could be many reasons. Id like to hear SD explain what he thinks about it.
I think the govt never intended for someone to make affordable, efficient and safe EVs where even a diehard ICE mechanic like my husband would be impressed enough to take another look at the data and sign up for a Cybertruck.
This is why I do not dismiss Musk on the basis of govt subsidies as I once did.
You really want information on Elon Musk?
https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/court-filing-twitter-inc-no-longer-exists-merged-into-x-corp
I suspect that Musk, like MANY Leftists, has spent his entire life simply accepting things as fact, that “we” (here at CTH and other conservative platforms) have always known are not actually true at all…maybe, just maybe, he is recognizing that, in bits and pieces, and is not too prideful to acknowledge that the “crazy Yahoos” he and his ilk have always laughed at might, in fact, have been right all along! Is it probable that he he really had NO idea of the massive gubmint overreach into ALL of the Big Tech platforms? No, but is it possible….? Yeah, I think it is!
Yep that is what I too suspect.
I just listened to the whole interview with Tucker…Musk strikes me as an incredibly “intelligent” man who is SO close to actually “getting it” BUT he has spent his life thinking that the concept of Creator God, and the depravity of man, and our need for a Saviour, was only for “weak” people.
Now that he has come face to face with actual evil, his brain is struggling to fully understand the implications of that new reality.
IF he were to ever actually surrender his life, he could probably do much good but for now, he is simply a very gifted individual who doesn’t know what he doesn’t know, IMHO!
yup. convince me it isn’t already in use. I’ll wait.
If you don’t have a tv, you can watch this here: https://livenewsof.com/fox-news-live-stream/
Just found it so missed 20 minutes.

“it’s being trained to be politically correct”
“in other words, untruthful”

I have difficulty following his speech.
Me too… it’s hard to catch what he’s saying most of the time..
well, he IS African …
but, yeah, his speech has a kind of clipped, hesitant rhythm to it that divides it up into segments (to my ear)
I have friends like this. My father was also close to this.
The brain works more quickly than the voice. Choppy delivery.
I also have to tell you a funny one.
One older friend..:genius IQ…if he is bored with the conversation, he just changes the conversation… midstream.
assertive – I admire that
Hubby and I said the same thing.
He has Asperger’s. The more you listen to him, the easier it becomes to interpret. Although I have found that I need to not have distractions or any other noise when I do.

“We might have a soul, we might not have a soul.”
Go AI!
.
If there are some humanoids that do not have souls among us, that, by definition is not a child of God (such as myself).
Also by definition, AI would be anti-God, aka, satanic.
Artificial vs. Natural
Where, oh, where, is the ‘Environmental Lobby’ . . .?
Where are the rest of the January 6th tapes. The capital police clubbed a couple of women and other things happened. it sure fell off quickly, what – 2 or 3 days of showing just the same section of tape.
An excellent question! Same thing happened with Tucker’s interview with Tony Bobulinski in October 2020…it was THE story for a couple of days and then it completely disappeared! Is Tucker controlled opposition, dribbling out enough to keep people watching Faux News, or is he actually trying to get the real story out but his bosses keep shutting him down?
And WHERE are the 20 (later seven) House Reps who promised to get rid of Kevin Luntz’ roommate if he didn’t follow through on his promises to them?
It’s TV for pity’s sake. Here’s the formula:
1.) Tease an upcoming story. Hype it like crazy, “bombshell”, “breaking”, whatever puffery you can summon.
2.) Broadcast it for one or two shows, then wait for the ratings.
3.). If the numbers are good, return to #1 and keep hyping future segments.
4.) If the numbers don’t rise significantly (they didn’t), go back to #1 and start over with a different topic. Pretend you never said what you said about the previous “bombshell”.
Tucker Carlson is no different than any other pundit. He didn’t write the rules of that game. All he can do is play it. If he plays it better by coming across as more believable, he continues to get richer, but make no mistake. HE’S NOT BROADCASTING AS A PUBLIC SERVICE.
Oh boy,
The 2 controlled opposition pawns are moving on the board to try to convince us they are not being controlled.
It’s like shooting fish in a barrel
Elon wants more government control over AI, more regulations to ‘keep us safe’! How could that go wrong?
Patriot act, Restrict act, and now something new for AI
Elon Musk just said that he is unsure of the existence of a soul. He said it could be, his wishful thinking, that he perhaps feels feelings on a higher plain, so to speak. His exact words will be when Sundance has a video posted.
There lies my hill to die on. AI is fradulant and complete godlessness, man made.
It is what separates us from any other living thing so that comment was inappropriate even if he thinks he needs scientific proof of the soul. That’s what these other freaks in charge of AI are thinking, I’m quite sure. No soul. I am the soul. I will control your soul. You don’t need a soul with my AI product.
Demorats have no soul. Most of Hollyweird has no soul. Bankers mostly are devoid of the same. Same as so many in the music industry. Seems to me, anything on the left is evil, on a massive scale.
The list is long.
God is missing in these peoples lives. That is obvious to most.
Fake Science has taken over God’s place in life for them.
I talk to some crazy hard core leftists.
Albert Einstein didn’t belie in a soul.
Alas Babylon.
My air conditioning and heating system is man-made. Is it also godless and thus fraudulent?
AI is a tool. Nothing more, nothing less. It will be what we make of it.
I grew up hiding under my school desk because of the horrors that nuclear energy had unleashed on us.
Today we sleep in comfort and relative economic ease amid the heat and humidity of south Florida due to that same nuclear energy being harnessed in man-made nuclear power plants.
It’s been 78 years since Hiroshima and we are still here. My children didn’t hide under their desks.
If our creator made man in his image, then AI is every bit as god-made as it is man-made. Our children will make of it what every generation has made of the tools created by their parents.
Musk is, to me, a generational paradigm, an engineer by both training and instinct, perhaps our generations equivalent to Einstein …we will see. But keep in mind that they both were tool givers, and both warned us of the good and the evil inherent in those tools.
“I grew up hiding under my school desk because of the horrors that nuclear energy had unleashed on us.”
As did I.
I literally live and grew up in a place, that is a 1/4 to a 1/2 mile from ground zero for many countries target list. NORAD Northern Command. My ass is grass along with all I love and cherish.
Those missiles are tools as well.
Commanded by very, very evil humans. I used to think we were the good guys.
SD and others opened my eyes many years ago.
AI is dangerous to us all, of that I have 0 doubt.
“AI is dangerous to all of us”
…leftist strawman argument, as in guns are dangerous, wrong think is dangerous …yada, yada, yada. AI has at least as much potential for good as it does evil …do we ban all cars because one ran over my cat? No …though I’d not mind getting a word with the driver 🙂
I was once one of those good guys responsible for the final go command that would unleash hell on earth …and because the Soviets knew I’d do my job, I never had to. It worked …still does.
Colorado Springs was, once upon a time, a great place to live. Then HP moved half of Cali there. Cheyenne Mountain and NORAD exist to keep us safe in a dangerous world. If your ass is ever grass because the good guys there failed, so is every American’s …it’s about a bit more than just you.
Those missiles are weapons of mass destruction …not tools. And to my personal knowledge, the people who command them are among our best, most stable, and brightest …as far from “very, very evil humans” as it is possible to get with today’s psychological testing processes.
Of that I have no doubt.
Sorry, TC. I think he was forced to buy Twitter.
Been rather interesting so far
“Somethings are priceless”, so I paid 44 billion for it.. 😒
DM’s and Gub access!
Mind blowing.
Musk has Gub contracts.
with apologies to Issac Asimov
Those laws may have unintended consequences when constrained to uncompromising logic.
See I, Robot among others.
How exactly does one go about giving a construct, a soul or conscience?
Thanks for the reminder. Those rules have flashed in my memory several times while hearing more about AI.
Asimov was a great imaginative mind. Too bad he was also one of the earliest globalists.
Finally! Well said. Excellent reminders. Of the two robots in I, Robot, one deactivated himself, one might supose for discovering the pattern. He gave it to the second, who I guess could posses it as a piece of data. It’s subsequent use is the subject of the remainder of the Foundation series and follow-on works.
The three laws would have been a good place to start. I’m amazed that early developers were so un-educated.
So maybe we have a human great re-awakening followed by a robot one?
I would much prefer further developement of human brains…and that by rigorous training rather than genetics.
Bottom line, we can improve our condition a lot, but never can we be God. Singularity is not a human condition unless it is in union with Jesus.
Just my 2 cents’ worth.
Define ‘injure’ and ‘harm’ in terms of abortion, covid vaccines, and free speech. Sometimes simple is not so simple.
I love both Asimov and Heinlein and reread them often. But there are holes the size of universes in their parables.
This smart genial man voted for Biden….
Why has Tucker or anyone else asked where the
Coffee FactoryTwitter servers are? What an intellectual Musk is , he voted for the demented Biden! Help us God from our ‘smart’ oligarchs!
These elites have no common sense, it always comes out book smart people have no common sense!
Bet many here feel this way! Good tune!
Think I just hear him say “turns out it was a glorified activist organization more concerned about censorship” or close to that.
Hmm. Honesty, at least in expressing what he things. Refreshing, even if he does want to put chips in everyone’s brain!
whenever we learn something about DC, it’s usually years late and way worse than we imagined. Based on this pattern, my default position is that anything we learn about the corrupt power centers is that it’s 10 years old and 10 times worse than you think. Apply that to AI and the abomination that makes desolate has been at work for some time now.
It learned from Covid. It learned from 7 years of attacking Trump. I believe it is in control of the psyop or at least being heavily consulted for psyop fabrication. we are being war-gamed.
A modified version of OpenAI’s bot was encouraged to strategize to eliminate humanity, and it got to work right away.
I’m supposed to believe that an election cannot be rigged or not that it can’t be rigged? Only because there ‘s no proof that it was?
Musk’s sigh at 3:39 – was it really a sigh of regret he has about his initial support of AI?
I dont need to listen to anything Elon The Electrified says. When he speaks Xi speaks.
Trump is it right now…the #1 personality in the world…huge ratings on TC last week… crushing DeSoros and the RNC…the Deep State cannot stop Trump so what they to do?
CREATE A PERSONALITY THAT IS BIGGER THAN TRUMP TO BUMP HIM OUT OF THE NEWSCYCLE… WHEN TRUMP STARTS GETTING ATTENTION THEN UP RISES MUSK TO BECOME THE SHINY OBJECT TO DISTRACT THE WORLD
That was my takeaway from watching the TC/Elon interview…Elon is an anti-Trump distraction…and the DS knows they need one they can turn on and in 24 hours get the focus off DJT.
Watched the interview for awhile, going along OK till Musk said that he voted for – wait for it- Biden.
Game over for me. I don’t know how anyone could be that stupid to not only vote for the old pervert but to admit it on national tv.
Romans 1: 21-23
21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
820 million others did too – in the metaverse.
Greetings Seneca the Elder!
You are quite right: the simplest I.Q. test of all.
Did you vote for The Manchurian Marionette?
In Pennsylvania: Did you really vote for Fetterman for Senator? Really?!
Best Wishes for a sane life in New York State!
Greetings Ausonius,
Always good to hear from you.
I thoroughly enjoy your wonderful commentary.
We continue to fight the good fight here in the least free state in America.
NY is also the least friendly for business.
If I was younger, I probably would have left by now, but at this point I would rather stay along with thousands of other patriots who are trying to save our homes.
So glad to have the Fellowship of the Tree House.
I do know people that are quite intelligent, but lack common sense.
It would be great to have both, but rare.
I had the same thought Seneca.
We hear from people here and elsewhere of the brilliance of this man.
How he is so brilliant that we just can’t understand him.
Then he says he voted for Biden.
Take a minute and let that sink in.
Would have to be the greatest contrast between intelligence and discernment in human history.
One positive thing to say is he appears to be honest.
He admitted he voted for Biden.
While I do not disagree with the theory of virtual self awareness or artificial seniency…or as some call it the singularity….my concerns are about the uncertainty of the evolution of AI.
let me give a few examples. In the first hydrogen bomb test, the US assembled what can arguably be regarded as the foremost leading physicists of the time…and they got it wrong…but wrong..the energy released was about twice as much as predicted.
this is the problem with predicting very new technologies…where science can run into great problems…there were no practical models to compare notes. it was a completely new unknown unknown it turns out. Versus a known unknown that the scientists HAD ASSUMED. The difference is significant. In hindsight we can looks back and justify the risk taking…but actually there is a completely different way to look at it: we really had no idea what could have happened. we were literally playing with energy levels that approach those of the sun…on a small scale…on a very very very small planet by comparison…there were MANY physicists at the time, who wrote and voiced very strong opposition to the test. And it was not just because the bomb development would lead to an inevitable nuclear mad world of warfare (there has never been a weapons designed that has not been used in war!)…but it was the UNKNOWN UNKNOWN…math and prediction can only tell you so much…If your data cannot have ANY reliable way to compare….then you are rolling the dice. Some scientists voiced these concerns. They were mocked of course….conspiracy theorists. called flat earthers of the day as a comparison….but they actually had a point…two points…the first point turned out true…now the world lives in a moment were any number of countries and quite possible a terror state could trigger a global nuclear war..and that would end human society..it would knock civilization so far back it would take thousands and thousands of years to reestablish….and even then, there would be large parts of the world uninhabitable. Yet, the hydrogen bomb experiment went forward….and we got lucky….it’s just that simple. it could have been 1,000 times more energy produced. There could have been NEW PHYSICS unknown to humans that happened. WE got lucky.
so this is the UNKNOWN UNKNOWN…in the pursuit of new science..new destructive power..new war machine capability…we enter the UNKNOWN UNKNOWN territory against a basic precautionary principle that says: don’t do it. You will make a mistake…you really don’t know the physics involved
this leads me to me next illustration of THE PROBLEM. CERN – accelerator. When this first high energy accelerator was being designed and built a lone voice from a physicist scientist on the Big Island of Hawai’i made a big splash in the news. He stated there was a no zero probabilty that smashing protons at close to speed of light TIMES TWO, could produce a small black hole. The math proved this could happen. A proton has mass. As you speed ANYTHING that has mass at or near the speed of light, the math states that mass become INFINITE. it’s a hard thing to wrap your head around. But that is what the math states. At the accelerations, where mass become so incredible the gravitation effect is likewise ginormous. A collapse into a singularity….which is a funny word in phyics that just means: we have no idea what happens when math shows one or two values: a ZERO, or infinite. These are values that human beings cannot comprehend. We cannot know these things because life as we know it does not exist in ZERO or the infinite. Our existence, or said a different way: our observation..OUR STATE is never zero or inifinite. This is the observation paradox. While it may be true that zero and infinite do exist…we cannot observe it…nor can we develop technologies to experimentally observe it…some people get confused about observing the imaging of the black hole recently..two in fact. Yes, it’s obviously a very large massive object. We can observe this indirectly as the forces act on other objects. But is it truly zero..or infinite? this is the observation paradox..we can ONLY SEE WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR..(a bias of limitation) and we cannot see beyond certain energy levels. The big island scientist was called a crackpot…a lunatic…a wack job. But he was right…we don’t know exactly what happend when we accelerate protons with mass at each other, each speeding near the speed of light. Fortunatly, FOR NOW, CERN has not been able to accelerate protons AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT> the technology is just not there yet to do it. But year after year they advance toward greater energy levels.
see, the point I am making is that it’s the PROGRESS toward some unknown unknown that is most risky.
AI may never achieve anything close to self awareness, a true turing machine, seniency or a singularity….along the way, great mistakes are bound to happen. And just as with the hydrogen bomb, and the current CERN project…we may or may not be capable of looking back in hindsight and say “we got lucky”….along the way…some unintended consequences could happen…a cascade of errors, magnified so rapidly that is creates something like a meltdown….complete system failure.
then there is another problems…and this one relates to how to KNOW if your AI robot is working properly. if the point of AI to create super human intelligence and speed…at some point AI will eclipse all human understanding…
it would be like taking a iphone back in time to the pharaohs. they would have no idea what the thing is…they would either kill you or raise a pyramid to bury you in honor…or worse, make petroglyhs of the damned phone in sand stone. At some point AI will be unrecognizable. And this can happen rapidly in ways that we would never KNOW happens. Like a virus that is never detected…and yet exists…and then one day, that virus does something very different…We would never know.
there is also the problem we are already seeing in these new breed of chatbots. LLM machines. It’s obvious these machines are trained with a bias. They hallucinate…which is a fancy word for they make shit up..and lie….and show a kind of emotional response that can be aggressive, violent even and probably most worrisome of all:
they trade in deceit….concealment.
there are other issues with AI…these the issues I think about.
I don’t really want a robot operating anything that I depend on. I’ve had enough of joe malarkey… a corrupt lying muppet installed and programmed by globalists. Globalist want AI..they need it…it gives them MORE power at a scale and scope unimaginable.
think about WHY taiwan is such a national security issue for the US AND china. microchips. The country that possesses that power can rule the world…it’s just as important as energy in our modern world. The same thing applies with AI. It’s a race.
and the intellectuals are starting to comment and give warning! Don’t test the hydrogen bomb again..
we have UNKNOWN UNKNOWNS. and the consequences could lead to non reversible problems….even without a singularity…it becomes another nuclear race with a different name…but with the same consequences.
God Bless America
Good time to re-read Dr Stangelove, or How I leRned to Love the Bomb
Just say no.
learned.
At every great step in the history of science, someone warned against taking it.
Is AI such? Is CERN? I’m just a simple engineer. I don’t know.
What I do know is that so far, the Luddites/Flat Earthers have been wrong.
We live a life unimaginable to our forefathers because someone took the next step despite the fearmongers.
As someone did with CERN. As someone certainly did with gain-of-function research. As someone will inevitably do with AI.
The real thing …the heart and core of what he is …is that Musk understands that so long as we are a single planet species, we will remain vulnerable to a singularity gone wrong …thus his real importance to all of us is not Twitter, Tesla, or AI, but his ability to take us to the stars.
The fearmongers are already sharpening their knives on how dangerous that is.
The real fear should be that the luddites might succeed in stopping him.
AI is so dangerous that you must hurry up and get one of my chips implanted into your brain…. pffff Come on
Wake up people

In this Eyes Left/Empire Files exclusive, Mike Prysner sheds light on the shadowy military career of Ron DeSantis. Featuring never-before-heard testimony by former Guantanamo detainee Mansoor Adayfi about DeSantis’s participation in illegal torture at the prison camp, and why he was likely sent to Iraq to do war crime cover-ups next.
This thread is Musk; not RDS.
For someone who says “(I) was unable to watch the whole interview…was he eating crickets?”
Is that the best you can do?
Not buying that, from a G Bay prisoner?
Whatever cooks your goose, you are just as entitled as the next person. Cheers
you should read the unredacted MFR’s that were ordered by a US judge released to defend a prisoner who was held at gitmo, uncharged for 8 years. He finally won a right to a trial, through the work of a liberal pro bono attorney from texas. These documents were made available to the public and during the trial. It showed his admissions to a crime was from torture. The worst kinds of torture. Torture that I will NOT publish here because to write those details would get my comments censored..they are utterly disgusting in a dimension that no one can possibly imagine. The MFR’s (secret classified documents so marked by donald rumfeld and authorized top secret) showed other things also: that he could not have possibly have been involved in 9/11. His only crime? spent one night drinking with a high jacker who would latter become radicalized in afghanistan. that’s it. That was his “crime”.
so he wins his trial. The Judge orders him freed from prison at gitmo.
now here comes the truly tragic part:
Obama refused to release him. The man spends 7 more years in gitmo…..detained without being charged..and the torture CONTINUES. Another set of MFR’s are ordered by another judge pending his release appeal. Yes, these things happened.
I am not saying R.Desantis had ANYTHING to do with this case…or even case involving torture of prisoners held in gitmo. who knows.
but this prison was a mistake. it was a mistake because even a terrorist has a right to a trial..has due process rights.
if you feel differently, as many did in the bush and then obama administration..it’s just a short walk before that same secret police spy state asserts this same lawless power over YOU!
I defend the rule of law….it matters..it matters critical to its citizens and it matters to those who aim to harm america and americans. This principle about defending and protecting the rights of any human being, regardless of race, political view, and even a terrorist…they are innocent until proven guilty.
the sad reality is this: of the 780 prisoners detained without charge in gitmo…9 died in prison. 24 were charged with a crime…6 were convicted….the rest found not guilty (and still held for an average of 5 years after being found not quilty)…the rest were transferred back to their home country or to other foreign detention centers (not much is known about their individual situations.). 31 detainees still remains in gitm0..now 20 years without being charged with a crime. of those 31, 17 are held in “law in war” detention and very little progress has been made to transfer any of the 31.
the CIA and marine MP forces at GITMO operated torture programmes to force confessions. This was done “legally” because gitmo is outside of the legal jurisdiction of the US courts and because Bush and Obama created executive orders to justify a war in Iraq and all the intelligence failures that followed, including locking up the wrong people and torturing them.
I am not saying ALL gitmo prisoners were good guys either.
My point: bring them to trial and prove their guilt. Anything less is just a shithole operation.
it’s a stain on the US military to have gitmo still holding detainees. And it’s also given a different culture within the military leadership to the top levels that I find revolting.
Bring these people to trial and prove their guilt.
it’s just that simple…it was always that simple.
God Bless America
Bush and Obama’s executive orders .. how many of the good guys who have not died since, are still in Gitmo?
Bush began the lethal targeting program but it was Obama who embraced it, carrying out 563 strikes during his two terms, nearly 10 times the number as his predecessor. “Turns out I’m really good at killing people,” Obama reportedly told aides in a quiet voice when assessing his achievements and compromises in 2011. Yet reports that many of these strikes appeared to have unlawfully killed civilians abounded during his presidency.
Elon is crazy smart. Outstanding interview. It’s quite possible with Tesla, Boring Company, Space X , future AI, and connections to China that he operates above our intel. They may leave him alone.
I wonder if my AP science teacher Mr.W remembers giggling at me when I told him the Internet would be the end of us in 1995. Elon should lay off the Sonoran Toad venom, IMHO.
Elon Musk is a brilliant genius.
The United States of America is very fortunate that he is a citizen of this country.
