The downward spiral has reached critical mass. Following the Trump endorsement by Florida Congressman Byron Douglas [See Here], Team Meatball is triggered. Ron DeSantis has begun calling Florida Republican congressional reps, begging them not to endorse President Trump.
You can almost see the cheese arriving to complement the whine.
(Via NBC) Gov. Ron DeSantis’ political operation has started calling Republican members of the Florida congressional delegation in an effort to consolidate support after four members publicly backed Donald Trump in his 2024 presidential bid.
Sources with four of the six members contacted by DeSantis’ team shared the outreach with NBC News; each requested anonymity to confirm the calls.
As Trump continues to lead in the polls for the GOP presidential nomination, the governor is trying to stop defections in his own backyard ahead of his expected run. DeSantis currently has no endorsements from the state delegation.
The efforts by the governor’s team started after Trump picked up the backing of Rep. Byron Donalds, who has been a DeSantis ally. The earlier three endorsements were from Reps. Anna Paulina Luna, Matt Gaetz and Cory Mills, who are vocal Trump boosters and whose support wasn’t surprising.
Since Donalds came out for Trump, DeSantis’ team has called at least six members of Florida’s congressional delegation, asking that they hold off on making any endorsements in the near future. The members called by DeSantis’ team are: Reps. Aaron Bean, Vern Buchanan, Kat Cammack, Mario Diaz-Balart, Laurel Lee and Greg Steube.
Ryan Tyson, a longtime GOP pollster and mainstay in DeSantis’ political orbit, has led the effort. Tyson has initiated the calls, reaching out to schedule a later call between the member of Congress and DeSantis himself.
“There is clearly some angst from the DeSantis camp that so many members of the state’s congressional delegation are throwing their support behind Trump,” said a GOP consultant for one of the members contacted by the governor’s team. “Gaetz going with Trump is one thing, but Byron’s endorsement of the former president undoubtedly rattled some cages.” (read more)
“DeSantis currently has NO ENDORSEMENTS from the Florida delegation“…. Readers, if you are a registered voter in Florida, you know what to do. Call your congressman or congresswoman and tell them your expectation, in advance of DeSantis calling them and asking for an endorsement.
Let the GOP representatives know your expectation, while simultaneously delivering a death blow to the influence of Wall Street, multinational corporations, billionaire influence peddlers and the professional political class. They have dumped $500+ million into DeSantis… Make it worthless!
DeSantis ran to be governor of Florida. Make him live up to that expectation.
“There is only one leader at this time in our nation’s history who can seize this moment and deliver what we need – to get us back on track, provide strength and resolve, and Make America Great Again. That is why I am honored to endorse President Donald J. Trump for President in 2024, and I ask my fellow Americans to join me today.” ~ Byron Donalds

I’ve got a song, I ain’t got no melody
I’ma gonna sing it to my friends
I’ve got a song, I ain’t got no melody
I’ma gonna sing it to my friends

Ronnie go ’round in circles
Ronnie fly high like a bird up in the sky?
I’ve got a story, ain’t got no moral
Let the bad guy win every once in a while
I’ve got a story, ain’t got no moral
-Let the bad guy win every once in a while
I’ve got a dance, I ain’t got no steps, no
I’m gonna let the music move me around
I’ve got a dance, I ain’t got no steps
I’ma gonna let the music move me around
Ronnie go ’round in circles
Thanks for that Patience. I loved that song and I think it was Billy Preston.
You be right!
“A few of your buddies, they sure look shady”
I heard this today on my favorite streaming radio station, KVHS … yeah … a white bread, suburban, HIGH SCHOOL radio station that had a Soul hour today. BTW … I LOVE the fros… and the kids dancing is beautiful. Damn I miss the 70’s … even with the disco stuff.
Looooved them! Saw this on the tube back in the day.
-appropriate words for now
I left American bandstand every once in a while to see what the brothas were doin. And tried to copy the dance moves on Friday night … sadly … I just looked like a spastic white boy. Damn! That whole audience has got the groove and the moves. So beautiful to my eye. But in all fairness … it’s hard to copy those moves to Led Zeppelin music 😂
You left American Bandstand every once in a while? How could you? ☺
Thanks!! Ah, Soul Train!! Miss it!! The Backstabbers — perfect!!
Right there with Kenji! I always say that is the best music era!
A great song to get stuck in my head…

“Ain’t it funny,…
How falling is just like flying,…
Right up to the END!”
As we watch this slow motion train wreck, let us bear in mind this is PDJT’s first,…confrontation or challenge in his 2024 Presidential run.
Overall, much like in 2016, its been like him swatting a gnat.
Didja hear, jack washisface in DC has now leaked that he is exploring charging PDJT for profiting off of making false allegations of election fraud?
Hmm,..in order to prove a key element of the “crime” assuming he could find one, like say “Fraud” he would have to prove PDJT’s allegations of election fraud are false.
Does he REALLY want to go there?
BRING IT ON
Even an old nearsighted jailhouse lawyer like me can see that, a mile away!
Leftists are educated licensed idiots; actually.
Pandora’s box is wormy
Well dutchman, you hit it again! LOL Personally I think the left is dumb enough t open that door. They think we’re all so stupid that we don’t know. WE KNOW there was fraud it was proven many times but the powers that be (judicially) closed their eyes on it for whatever reason. But if he does this it forces them to open their eyes.
Now my question is, how does the judiciary go about handling this? I’m pretty sure that “Jack” is sure can get some liberal controlled judge to go along with the “lawfare group to handle this matter for him.
I’m with you, “BRING IT ON”
He’s very overrated.
Definitely a Javert, his track record of vindictiveness fails:
He lost many cases due to failure to share exculpatory evidence;
plus, he’s very fragile emotionally and physically.
Garland never met him.
He was at The Hague.
How Jack Smith was “selected” SC:
His wife and Michele are bff .
She produced the mooch’s Netflix film “Becoming”.

Michelle Obama says life in the White House like being in ‘a really nice prison’
3-7-2023
“After the inauguration , and we know whose inauguration we were at; that day was so emotional on so many different reasons.
We were leaving the home we had been in for eight years, the only home our kids really knew. So we were saying goodbye to the staff and all the people who helped to raise them.”
There were tears, but then to sit on that stage and watch the opposite of what we represented on display, there was no diversity, there was no color on that stage, there was no reflection of the broader sense of America…
You take your last flight off, flying over the Capitol, where there weren’t that many people there. We saw it.”
~ Michelle Obama, podcast
On April 17, 2012, William Welch left his job the Department of Justice.
He had intentionally hid exculpatory evidence in the Sen. Ted Steven’s ethics case.
Welch is most noted for using the 1917 Espionage Act to prosecute two U.S. intelligence officers speaking to the press, in effect prosecuting the officers for whistleblowing:
He claimed that Thomas Drake had leaked national security secrets to the press, who was charged with ten felony counts, the principal charges being forwarded under the Espionage Act. Drake is the 2011 recipient of the Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling and co-recipient of the Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence (SAAII) award.
Smith replaced Welch as chief of “ Public Integrity” and recommended that the DOJ close several investigations into congressional lawmakers without charges, including Senator John Ensign of Nevada, Rep Tom DeLay of Texas, Jerry Lewis of California, Alan B. Mollohan of West Virginia and Don Young of Alaska.
In 2012, he lost the John Edwards campaign finance case.
Melanie Sloan, then the director of the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, said that the Justice Department (Smith) deserved “to get slammed” for undertaking a risky prosecution against Mr. Edwards that relied upon a novel interpretation of campaign finance laws, even as it shied away from more traditional corruption cases.
“The cases that they are deciding to prosecute, and not prosecute, reflect an incoherent strategy. At some points, they are willing to be incredibly aggressive, like with John Edwards, and on the other hand they are overly cautious in refusing to prosecute people like John Ensign and Don Young.”
In 2013, he won a conviction of former Representative Rick Renzi, Republican of Arizona, who spent about two years in prison for extortion, bribery and an illegal federal land swap.
In 2021, Trump pardoned Renzi.
Smith also helped oversee the prosecution of whistleblower Jeffrey A. Sterling, a former C.I.A. officer, to NY Times, James Risen.
Sterling was convicted in 2015 under the 1917 Espionage Act and an obstruction statute.
Smith is now attempting to use that against Trump’s handling of government documents, (but not Extreme Traitor Joe!).
That same year, prosecutors supervised by Smith won a corruption conviction against former Gov. Bob McDonnell of Virginia, a Republican, along with his wife, They were found guilty of trading favors in return for $177,000 in loans, vacations and gifts from a wealthy family friend who was trying to promote his vitamin supplement business.
But in 2016, the Supreme Court unanimously overturned McDonnell’s conviction in a ruling that narrowed the scope of what favors can justify corruption charges and led to convictions being overturned in several other cases.
The fact the court effectively used the case to change the law, reflects negatively on Smith.
Smith left the public integrity section in 2015, moving to Nashville where he held top positions at the U.S. attorney’s office for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Three years later, he returned to The Hague, becoming the top prosecutor for a special court investigating war crimes committed between 1998 and 2000 during the war in Kosovo.
His average job stint is 3-4 years, he has an accident and moves on.
He’s highly accident prone.
If he has “integrity” he’ll connect the origins of the Mar-a-Lago raid distraction to the Extreme Traitor Joe document theft and close the mar-a-lago document case.
Conclusion: He aggressively overcharges, and then blows it.
No wonder he’s obsessive compulsive and very depressed!
DeSantis was a good governor, until he jumped the shark.
Most people are before the Big Club targets you (blackmail, gifts, then offers of power)
…then a manila envelope full 8″ X 10″ B&W glossies of your kids playing in the park, taken from obviously covert vantage points.
People say he’s Great, because he pisses off the left.
I’m thinking, is that really a difficult task? Kind of a low bar, honestly.
RDS has good astroturf press coverage to boost him up. Without that, he’s John Kasich.
In case you didn’t know, his father was a mailman…..which, of course, entitles John to be President.
LMAO. No kidding, Taq! Seems like the Lefties wake up in the morning pissed off! Poor babies. They want their binkies and pacifiers. Stat.
Was he?
I’m starting to wonder that same thing C.R.
I’m not convinced anymore that he was even a good governor…hell, he’s never around…
Well, he’s no Newsome, Cuomo, Whitmer, or Gillum.
He didn’t completely suck.
…no Rick Scott or Jeb Bush, either! LOL
Um….Not so sure about that….All three play with Globalists.
C’mon cuz! He sounded good! I am hard pressed to find any bill he has signed that once you look under the hood at the nuts and bolts of it really helps our position out. It’s all smoke and mirrors with a WEF “chewy caramel center”!
But was it all performative from the beginning, knowing he had to show conservative bona fides so he could run in 2024? Was the whole first 4 years a giant lie? We have to wonder now.
Indian River County FL resident here.
Our electric bills are skyrocketing and insurance companies are screwing Floridians in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Meatball wants to tackle social issues rather than the bread-and-butter problems facing the poor in his own state.
Higher taxes, utilities and insurance premiums are making our FL properties almost as expensive as our PA properties.
Well what do you expect. The globalists have taken him over and he’s doing their bidding! I was a big fan of him, once it was reported that Jeb and the establishment were in full support of him it gave me a big pause.
Like I said I WAS a big fan of his. He’s now in my eyes a big disappointment.
What if Biden’s trip to Ireland becomes his “last trip” meaning that after he returns to Ameria we all will see just how “far out of it!” he really is and has been …much like the wheel chair FDR demanded to be hidden from the American citizenry?
When you can’t hide the truth you then begin making new stories of lies…all lies!
Blackmail.
those that can be, will do things we dont understand (and can only define as betrayel for money)
But RDS was not blackmailed… you don’t need to blackmail a Yalie nor a Harvard man bc they’re in on it…and RDS is both
good point
Yeah good thing we have secured elections now, would hate to think we’re taking shots at easy targets while knowing that none of this matters.
they dont matter.
this is another gathering of the people to be gathered in unity and angry about the same thing, all at once.
the steal
Soon they will break out the heavy punctuation. He will now be known as DeSantis!
Heard Meatball called Jeb for advise on his shrinking pole numbers. Jeb told him to remain as Governor and don’t even think about it!
Poll
Seriously? Rhonda by any other name is still Rhonda DeSoros
His meatballs are starting to eat themselves.
Our US Representative here in Florida is Gus Bilirakis. President Trump previously endorsed Bilirakis for office. Now he needs to repay the favor and endorse President Trump. I hope I soon see his endorsement but I’m not going to hold my breath. We only hear from Bilirakis when he wants money or our vote.
Let him hear from you, then.
https://bilirakis.house.gov/contact
I just emailed my Rep. It took me five minutes.
Oh, yes, I’ve called his office several times over the years and have spoken to his aides. I’ll call again next week and tell him he owes President Trump his endorsement. However,
I think it’s terrible that I need to remind him of his obligation.
Agreed. It’s good that we still can, though.
All Greek loving American patriots living in FL should do the same thing! Call him to endorse PDJT!
See my email to Rep. Mike Waltz on this thread’s first page. Feel free to copy and paste it.
Thank you!
It’d be a shame if Florida started a recall petition because their governor hasn’t been doing his duties…it’d be just a damn shame…
Finally someone else says it!
What ever happened to the review of resign to run legislation inFL?
Just wait Ron! Return the money and wait!
For goodness sake, I live in FL and don’t appreciate the machinations to leave all those who voted you for GOV
to pursue your other grandiose goals.
Not your time Ron.
Persist at your own peril as the potential Presidential voters have already spoken via polls.
Not your time.
yeah see that’s the problem…you really can’t “return the money”. even if you did, it becomes the major news item of the year. DeSantis returns all the money he received to launch his entire career. Without this money DeSantis would have never even had a platform or campaign finances to do anything more than a few visits to the wealthiest communities BEGGING for doantions. he never had to do any of that. His ticket was paid for.
I am not anti Desantis Governor policies…overall, they are generally terrific for Floridians….but it’s obvious that he was SELECTED/ASSIGNED by a single billionaire who quietly guided his money and his intentions through desantis.
I think most people do not realize to the extent this sort of thing is common. That behind the scenes money…from very dubious sources…channeled mostly through a variety of legalized scams is the way that political people get elected. I mean if you can’t tour and have ads rocking 24/7 and pay off supporters who will tell the tall tales of your incredible character and passion…then you are unlikely to even make it to a debate. A also ran. This is the reality.
what seems to matter the most then becomes this question: what IS THE ASK from these billionaire’s…what do they get out of the deal. What is the politico doing to pay the debt.
there are no free lunches..
as the song goes “you gotta serve somebody”.
who YOU serve is the big question…what do they want…and what are the consequences to the voters who are persuaded to vote for SELECTED/ASSIGNED candidates?
God Bless America
Oh my, my mistake register.
I love all your posts as you are most learned.
In my naïveté I guess I actually thought he could just return the money. Something like, no harm intended.
Well, geez, this makes him more stuck and complicit than I thought.
Thank you for enlightening me. He must have know the consequences of accepting the $.
It just makes the whole thing stink even more!
I guess when he accepted the donations then, he sealed his own fate.
We all will reap what we sow.
Again, my thanks for your explanation.
its like a tournament (primary election) of all people on the same team (laundering money) fakingly competing against each other, or the entire team versus any outsider that enters.
How are DeSantis’ policies good for Florida? Education 39th and has CRT. Crime up. Illegals bussed in and a few flown out. High taxes. Florida ranks 39th in Health and Safety. Florida is 50th in Affordability. DeSantis has good PR but you are still on the train to socialism. He voted for TPP and was supportive of reducing Social Security. DeSantis is a textbook Decepticon.
these are fair and accurate points. I withdraw my considerations as “fantastic”…
I did not consider fully his overall performance. I narrowly considered his handling of hurricane relief, firing several woke officials, challenging the covid/vaccine/mask narratives. etc.
I am sure I did not fully consider all of his performance. I withdraw my incomplete evaluation.
thank YOU!
God Bless America
Yeah, like when billionaire Tom Steyer propped up Gillum. We always need to look behind the curtain.
A haha this is good. The early flame out of RDS is going to make 2024 lit. Bring it.
Hahahahaha ha … Rhonda look real good today … pedaling slow … with a pocket full of Benjies … stacked up by the WEF adjacent RINO’s
Laurel Lee! How on Earth is she in the Legislature! DeScruples fired her for dirty voter rolls after handpicking her! Sorry, I get triggered when I see her name. I have used more than enough bandwidth typing the same thing. Does this ring any alarm bells for anyone else?
Yes, Laurel Lee is worthless! We have lots of corruption in Seminole County Fl that she was made aware of – but did nothing! Grassroots efforts are underway way here now and citizens are fighting to fix the corruption as we cannot count on these politicians to do the right thing!
The Orlando Metro is as crooked as a barrel of snakes, I know I grew up there.
Donalds continues to impress. Very smart move to be at the front of the pack endorsing the VSG.
And a perfect statement in his support.
Thanks Byron , Luna and all that know we need a fighter not an establishment yes man. Stay in your lane lDeSantis we need a leader not a yes man
If DeSantis incited much more hate from the left & the rhino’s that would be a great sign but he doesn’t .
So funny!
My rep is Kit Commack and she will indeed be getting a call from me.
Look at RDS face as Trump is speaking in his ear, says it all! A look of disgust, distain, that Ivy League coming through. What a D***! https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/04/ouch-trump-trounces-closest-gop-opposition-in-new-poll-by-whopping-41-leaves-other-competition-in-the-dust/
Trump was also Ivy league so this guy can shove it.
Unlike Ron, President Trump spent 5 years before college, at an elite military boarding school; 8 – 12 grade.
And unlike Ron, when Don was at an Ivy League school, the top.business school in the world he wasnt a frat bro nor did he party on weekends.
Instead he took off each weekend to work with his dad on construction sites.
DeSantis should publicly endorse the Trumpster now, and then get back to work governing the Free State of Florida.
If you live in Texas give cruz, corny, and abbott a call. Trump was there for them when they needed him. I wrote to all 3 and haven’t heard a word from any of them.
We need to educate people about this FILTHY Turncoat backstabber.

Sent Bill Posey an email saying, I feel disrespected by Ron DeSantos even thinking about leaving us so soon after the election. Now to write to Erin Grall, FL State Senator.
Wrote to Erin Grall re: Bait and Switch
The older Republicans like McConnell may well lack the imagination to see this, but the threat to the Republican Party is existential.
America could exist as a one-Party State. Many countries have and do.
Indeed, all leftists strive for this.
The Uniparty elitists think they can keep the deception going forever.
The original plan for Trump was to just wait him out. That failed, so they cheated him out.
Now the Republicans have no Presidential voters, no viable candidates who can attract voters, and no policies (alternative to Trump’s) that might attract voters.
Any business would do the obvious, and go bankrupt.
The worrisome thing is the Establishment Regime is going to throw Trump in prison using cooked judges hostile to Trump and far left juries in blue blue jurisdictions. What happens to the polls then?
After how it helped Trump just to be indicted, a fake conviction, or prison, would be a disaster for them!
And that will start a rush to Ron? …You really think so ? … that “white knight saving the party” script has been scrapped I think , people /MAGA voters are not that naive – they are not like Dem. Sheeple voters …
Through the roof.
“the Establishment Regime is going to throw Trump in prison”.
Fortunately, that’s not how lawfare is waged at the Trump level. Yet.
Unfortunately, that makes it harder to get the MAGA Mandela/MLk chic of time in jail.
Fortunately, the thwarted outrage addicted and fear deranged Wile Es will likely try such insane stunts to get Roadrunner Trump that more and more normies will notice and become appalled.
Does President Trump secretly own the Acme Company and is he the one whos sending these demented Wile Es their monthly Acme, Get Trump, catalogs?
DeSantis is waiting for Lawfare, et al to neuter PDJT before he announces.
I’m proud to say call Congressman Donalds my U.S. Representative. When he was first running in the primary in 2020, he rang my doorbell in a June rainstorm to introduce himself as one of the Republican candidates. I’ve supported him since, and he’s never let us down. Sent him a thank you note for his Trump endorcement today.
I’m just imagining DeSantis on a bicycle furiously pedaling and yet going no where. 😂
Ron, this is what happens (1) when you ride DJT’s endorsement to a 2nd term as Governor, (2) stab DJT in the back by not voicing one iota of support with respect the FBI raid and NY indictment, (3) lie to your constituents for their vote by abandoning them shortly after being elected and (4) running against DJT for POTUS in 2024 with the intent of eliminating DJT and MAGA from political existence. But, then to top it off, you have the FL legislature remove your visitor logs from public view, make it a crime for anyone to post negative comments regarding you on social media and allow you to be a campaigning POTUS candidate and Governor at the same time.
When you resume says SKULL & BONES at Yale….Patriots question your loyalty
Notice, they give no reasons why Florida’s congressional members should abstain from voicing their support for a presidential candidate. Just. Don’t. Do. It. I wonder what the history is. Is voicing this support this early unusual? Vern Buchanan is my rep. I hear from him every Sunday morning, with a question, yea or nay, on something or other. I can’t wait for Sunday morning.
“Make it worthless…”
Amen.
Please clap.
Authorities getting involved… this is getting serious…
5’8″? I thought he was taller.
Pres. Donald John Trump is 6’3″. He’ll literally TOWER over DeSmallest.
That’s what happen when Soros endorses RDS. His poll tanks.
Why was Byron’s endorsement a surprise, he was part of the Trump rallies?
because he didnt hold out for his Florida Governor
Mighty strange behavior for a guy who hasn’t declared himself a candidate for POTUS…
Truly, the best thing he could do to salvage his political career and future ambitions would be to announce that he is not running for POTUS, that Alvin Bragg is the reason why, call on all other candidates to drop out and endorse Trump, and then begin a nationwide Anti-Election Fraud campaign.
Such a shame. I thought at one time he would make a good VP charged with a search and destroy mission against communists infiltrators at FBI, CIA, State, etc.
Alternative headline
“The Florida Congress folks can read polls “😂
Those newly elected Congress can’t turn their phones off yet!
Ron!
By the way, I watch the Sunday shows a lot and I am very impressed with Byron Donalds.
Ron would be a fool to jump in now.
That is pitiful.
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone so successfully sabotage themselves in such a short period of time.
Everyone can see the disloyalty and lack of appreciation for what Trump did for him with his endorsements.
Everyone can also see right through the lies and disinformation about whether he intends to run fro president, and the circle of people around him who are part of his organization who claim to not be part of his organization.
Everyone can see he’s bought by Wall Street.
Everyone can see Trump is *NOT*.
Great reply. Thank you. I’m actually so glad that word spread so quickly! And Sundance certainly had a huge role in that.
God bless and protect President Trump.
Bad week for the GOP’s New Jeb.
>>>> DeSantis currently has NO ENDORSEMENTS from the Florida delegation
Probably because DeSantis hasn’t formally announce his run, yet.
Let’s see how many he can pick up once he makes it official.
What’s after Trump?
Who carries MAGA forward?
Curious minds want to know.
In the words of Atticus, “It’s not time to worry” about that yet.
My 2 cents: I agree with pollster Richard Baris —at this point in time there is no MAGA movement without President Trump at the helm. The immense tent will splinter into factions and fall apart without him. Maybe some day down the road the tent will hold together without him, but not for ages to come. So whoever runs in 2028 must have President Trump’s strong approval and run as his general, not as his replacement.
According to pollster Baris, President Trump there is a significant part of the MAGA base that only comes out to vote for President Trump and stayed home when he wasn’t on the ballot. We’re a movement in its infancy. He’s the spark and glue. So again, whoever runs in 2028 needs to be his MAGA general, not his replacement.
Obviously not on the list for 2028 is DeSantis who in accepting Griffin’s $10 million and sealed the attached deal. In return for his millions, Griffin told a journalist he expected DeSantis to end MAGA. (CTH article, search at top of page) Accept the money, accept the mission. I can’t imagine MAGA ever voting for a MAGA killer in 2024 or 2028.
Hopefully President Trump will still be holding rallies and leading the movement with the help of his generals well past 2028.
So Trump’s VP pick is a really important one, one that will hopefully carry on the MAGA policies.
That’s ONE spicy meatball!
DeSantis currently has no endorsements from the state delegation.

I am sure endorsement would be illegal under FL law??
Yeah, I think they’re working on that law stuff.

A vain man loves to have his ears tickled with the praises of others who seek his promotion for their own gains. They have boosted his ego to overflowing and he cannot see himself as the clay, but as the potter instead.
