On March 24th, three days ago, a biological woman who identifies as a man (trans-male) named Audrey Hale had his 28th birthday in Tennessee.

Likely because the gender identity as well as instability played a role in the motive, all of the social media and online profiles of Audrey Hale were scrubbed before she/he was identified as the shooter.

Nashville police initially described the shooter at The Covenant School as a teenager before, minutes later, calling her a 28-year-old woman who lives in the city.
The shooter was identified as Audrey Hale, a Nashville resident, three law enforcement officials briefed on the matter told NBC News. There were no answers on Monday afternoon at multiple phone numbers listed for Hale’s mother and brother.
According to police, the shooter was armed with two “assault-style rifles and a handgun” when she was confronted by five officers. Two of those opened fire and killed her, police said. (read more)

Those parents are living the worst tragedy that can happen to a parent – the death of a child. Obviously a loved child for whom parents were concerned enough to make sure their children were enrolled in a mentally and emotionally safe school.
If this pervert shooter in fact shot up a locked door to gain access, it will change the complexity of parameter security at schools. If that’s what actually happened, 100s of millions of exterior doors at schools will need to be retrofit with hardened steel or polycarbonate panels to prevent this from happening. Since it’s unlikely trash like this shooter will be confrontated prior to committing these evil disasters, targets need to be hardened.

I live in the Nashville area and what’s missed in the article is that this girl was a student at that same school many years ago….probably when she still knew she was a girl, not a girl wanting to be a boy.
I don’t know how long she attended but the school is K-6. She was certainly taught about Jesus Christ being her Lord and savior, so thinking that may have played a part in it.

I know mental health treatment is covered under the ACA, although it might vary by state. I cannot find enough detail to determine what kind of treatment is covered.

I recall that transgender surgery was recently described as a profit center at Vanderbilt Medical Center (in Nashville, if you didn’t know). I wonder if this person was getting care there?

Even recently I was prompted to follow this deceased person on Snapchat, even though he died SIX years ago. But the Feds can access and modify an account in minutes. Disgusting.

By definition, people who believe they can change their sex and then act upon this belief , are mentally ill and should not be allowed to have a weapon. When trans people wake up and realize that sex can never really be changed, they become enraged. Many choose suicide, while others take out their anger and rage on other people. I suspect Audrey did both.

I haven’t read too much into her case, but if she was now “Aiden” was she not accepted? If accepted why does one need to return her to the correct gender.

So the SWAT team enters the building and in the second, third, or maybe tenth classroom they see a man with a gun, in a room full of students, maybe the gun has been fired, once twice, maybe a cartridge has been unloaded, there are bodies bleeding, and some not moving. The Police do what they are trained to do.

We actually make it worse and play the game unwittingly when we say “biological male or female” or “genetic female or male”. Both male and female stand on their own.
They say “woman” when a male and we say “Yes, you are a woman but not a biological female. When we differential, we are agreeing they are a woman.

There ARE public schools, in Texas and Utah, that have such signs.
