Give gave them a short synopsis about how the event was staged to enact emergency powers to bypass the constitution and ignore the normal rules for certification. Honest question and I’m looking for a response from what I know is a very savvy audience here. I was texting with a friend recently, and she said that the reason SVB failed is because of a loosening of regulations from “the last administration” which is code for “Trump’s fault.” Is this true? I’ve done some searching on the internet, and truthfully don’t know what to believe and what is reliable news. I think this is something that is going to crop up with the upcoming Presidential election and I am 100% behind President Trump but I’d also like to be equipped with a response when something like this comes up in conversation.
Kept hearing rumors that soon we would only have digital currency. Looks like a planned demolition of our economy is how they’re going to do it. MSM is wasting my time and making it confusing.

You need to understand, as does your friend, that legislation was passed by Congress signed into law by Trump. All presidents have to sign congressional legislation unless it is is veto proof. So it is legislation from the last Congress, not from Trump.
Secondly, it is not the legislation that caused the bank issues. It is bad investments by the bank. It was bank mismanagement.
An intelligent response would be to reject the premise that it is Trumps fault and explain the real reason.

POTUS Trump signed a bipartisan bill loosening some regulations as I understand it.
Imo, the federal reserve persuaded (coerced) banks to buy long term treasuries at very low rates. Fed then increases rates which causes the long term bonds to decrease in value. Depositors decide they want their money and withdraw large sums creating a severe liquidity problem.
Any bank is susceptible to a run if everyone cashes out at once. The whole system is based on con-fidence.
I believe the fed will continue to prop up the system by creating more fiat currency. They buy bonds which holds the long term rates down. In the last few days long term rates and short term rates have dived. This is a good clue that the Fed is buying treasury bonds hand over fist.
When the Fed buys T-bonds they are doing what they always do, create money from air. This is not real money. It only dilutes the cash you have in the bank and the overall wealth of our nation.
Bottom line: NOT TRUMPS FAULT!

This is not quite accurate. The Federal Board of Governors is absolutely a government organization. The 12 Federal Reserve Banks that are located throughout the country are private entities, which are audited annually. I say this as someone who is intimately aware of how the Federal Reserve System operates.

I don’t disagree with his assessment to the problem. It was certainly a liquidity crisis caused by an old fashioned bank run. No bank will survive that. The treasuries the bank held were problematic for sure, but it wasn’t going to make the bank insolvent in the short term. The bank run last Thursday sealed their fate, just like it would have at any institution.
I just wanted to point out that his final paragraph was completely inaccurate in terms of how the Federal Reserve System technically works. It’s not an easy subject to understand, but an important one.
I understand that there are 12 federal reserve banks. The country is divided into 12 districts. Each one of those federal reserve banks are responsible for all the banks in their district.
Have they discontinued audits at each of the banks for which they are responsible?
I worked for several banks over the past 50 years. We were aways told give them what they ask for in order for them to get the job done, finish and get out. We were always glad to see them leave. It was like having the police looking over your shoulder and we really thought of them that way.
The auditors were very knowledgeable, competent and business oriented. Employees didn’t want to be found to have made a mistake or done something technically wrong so we always cooperated competely.
According to google, audits are not listed as a responsibility of the federal reserve banks. Was that changed or discontinued? Has the business world become so incompetent with all the diversity hires, they can’t get the job done anymore?

Both bank failures were audited w/n two weeks of failure and were deemed sound. Makes me think there is an underlying conspiracy. Either that or the auditors are corrupt along with the board.
This is exactly what my initial response was. Where were the regulators? Even it 2018 changed the threshold, once the threshold was crossed, why didn’t this trigger the bank regulators? It’s my understanding that the threshold would have been crossed a long time ago.

While I don’t know the details of those audits/exams, the main reason that SVB failed was a bank run. No bank can survive a true bank run. I’m not saying they would have survived long term, because I think the way that bank operated in terms of holding tons of treasuries was not good in an increasing rate environment, but they would not have failed Monday for sure.

Some activities are adult oriented due to their inherent sexual nature and any sane society bars children from attending. Drag shows are such an activity. Most normal people also don’t think parents have the right to sterilize their children, and sane societies do not allow them to.

I’d noticed before on Rumble – some videos would get less than 5 views while the average was about 50. Then noticed a couple of the 2 or 5 viewed compilations would somehow have 7 or 8 Likes….??? More likes than views….???
Noticed the YouTube channel gets virtually no views compared to Bitchute or Rumble for the same exact videos (mirrors).

I know from prior experience, videos draw traffic.

If there were a complete banking collapse, would the government be able to cover all FDIC and NCUA (credit union) accounts?
According to Bankrate the avg bank acct is $41,600 and the FDIC estimates there are at least 124.2 million personal or joint bank accounts. This assumes only one acct per household and acknowledges this is a low estimate).
So $41,600 x 124.2 million is a bit over $5 trillion.
The FDIC has only 1.3% of the funds needed to cover all the FDIC insured accounts. I’m assuming NCUA which is the federally insured counter part to FDIC for credit unions is equally under-funded.
Not sure how likely the risk is for a nation-wide banking collapse, but I am curious. How does the government raise $5 trillion in the event of a massive, universal collapse of the banking system?
Some possibilities re what the Biden admin/Fed may do in the event of needing to come up with trillions to cover a widespread banking collapse:
(1) Print $5 trillion more dollars (there goes the value of U.S. currency)

(2) Another way to “print” money is to establish CBDC digital currency and eliminating cash as legal tender. The argument for this approach might be: the government needs to better regulate the financial system. Everyone’s accounts would be covered by FDIC but instead of cash, everyone would get a federally controlled digital account with CBDC replacing cash. Hello digital ID and social credit score.

(3) Use a collapsing bank system to enable the big banks to scarf up all the small banks, leaving us with a small number of mega banks. Fewer big banks and no small banks or credit unions would help consolidate a government-bank partnership.

(4) A collapse and rescue by the govt could result in nationalization of all banks under socialistic govt control.
So I’m wondering, what is Biden and the WEF’s next step? At Davos the word of this year is “poly-crisis.” Crises = emergency powers. Crises of war and economic ruin are seen by globalists as useful tools to usher in a new totalitarian word order. So what will Biden and the globalists do next with our economy?
And I’m mulling what should I do next? Keep money in my account? Pull it and put it under the mattress? FDIC has 1.3% of the funds needed to cover everyone’s accounts in the event of a nationwide banking collapse. And $5 trillion minimum would be needed to cover everyone (see above) if there were a universal banking collapse rather than just a handful of banks .
Options for the individual account holder?
(1) pull money out and putting cash under a mattress. A few problems.
(1a) First if no collapse happens, re-depositing the money may create a problem with the IRS seeing the re-deposit as undeclared income. Whiile one would have paperwork showing a withdrawal, there is no paper trail proving the money being re-deposited is not income.
(1b) Practical handicaps of no bank for most people
— how do employees get paid without a bank acct –some employers offer debit cards
—for those on soc sec, I think the gov’t only sends it as a direct deposit;
—how to operate a small business without a bank (merchnt accts for accepting credit cards require the owner to have a business bank acct)
—how to send/receive money long-distance —money orders may work, but possibly not in all situations
—huge interest by IRS in cash-only activities
—and what if a wide banking collapse happens and CBDC is ushered in to cover bank accts under FDIC and cash is no longer legal tender?
Side note: for those with credit unions make sure yours is covered by NCUA, the federal insurance for credit unions. Some state-charted credit unions carry private deposit insurance rather than NCUA insurance.
Additional note: the above $5 trillion estimate only refers to personal/household accounts if I am reading FDIC’s comments correctly. Commercial bank accounts are also eligible for FDIC coverage up to 250,000. So the actual dollar amount needed to cover all insured accounts in the country would likely be much larger than $5 trillion. On the other hand, a great many businesses run at a larger scale than 250,000 limit.
The $250,000 insured amount is per account holder. For a joint account, $500,000 would be insured…$250,000 for each account holder.

The problem for SVB was the Fed has raised rates more rapidly than ever before in U.S. history, from a long-term near-zero interest rate. SVB had previously invested in near-zero rate U.S. Treasuries. Their mistake was investing in ten year bonds at this near-zero rate. Even without the recent Fed ramp up, t was always unlikely that interest rates would remain at near-zero for ten years. At some point they’d be holding unsellable T-bills.
Many people think banks just hold onto depositors money, but they generally don’t. When one puts money in a bank account one is making a loan to the bank in return for whatever interest rate is offered on savings/checking and the promise to return it whenever one wants to withdraw the money.
Banks generally invest depositors money somewhere in order to cover business expenses and pay interest on accounts, but they always want to be able to liquify the ivestments if needed to cover withdrawal demands of customers. When a large number of depositors ask to withdraw their money a bank may have to sell some of its assets, such as U.S. Treasury bonds to come up with the amount needed.
HERE’S THE CRUX OF THE SVB DOWNFALL –They invested heavily in ten year bonds at near zero percent, With today’s rapidly rising interest rates who wants to buy near-zero interest, ten year T Billst? Clarion, I agree that it is sickening that no adults step up to protect these young women (girls).
But, I disagree that it is false when people comment that girls are not standing up for themselves.
This photo is a good example. The girls in the photo needed to stand up for themselves. They all should have refused to compete at the start of this race. Walk off. All of them at once.
If they would do this, all this nonsense would stop immediately. But, they don’t.

A blogger named Aidan Kearney posted the story and mentioned the sadness of the 9th place girl that just missed out on the top 8 spots that all went on to compete upwards in the State. Essentially, the trans dude getting one of the top 8 spots pushed her out.
Then, it gets real interesting. The dad of this 9th place finisher tweets an angry response to the blogger demanding that he removes the story. Calls him a Trump-troll and a Tucker Jr. and all other kinds of aggressive attacks. The mom, an attorney, also attacks.
It is an interesting back and forth between the blogger and these unhinged parents who are defending the boy that beat their girl.
Bizarro world indeed.

Also, I think that it is extremely important that “the buck stops here.” The President is “the Chief Executive Officer,” as well as CINC. A chief executive’s job is to execute. Instead, he turned the matter over to the fifty individual States and promised to deliver to them anything they asked. And, he did. Even when those resources were never used. He also did not “second-guess them.” He stayed in his lane, although there was nothing to keep him in it.
Do not be an armchair General. You have never sat in “that chair,” in the loneliest office on Earth.

I imagine many if not most of his major donors will follow him to this new venture.
