The next big thing to hit is inflated property values because inventory is low and demand is high, according to those who raised them for property tax purposes. I heard a neighboring city and state has just increased theirs by 20%.
Why is inventory low and demand high? Because we are importing illegal aliens by the millions, and not only are we paying for their housing we are paying higher prices for our own.
It’s unsustainable and has been for decades, and it will continue as long as we have open border policies.

I’ve been to Mexico MANY times, since I lived in SoCal for 25 years. Bigger towns and border towns are more dangerous, and that has been true since before I was born. In smaller towns, kids play in the street after dark, and nobody locks the front doors of residences, only shops and businesses. It’s been a lifetime since any place in America has been that safe. In my opinion, it is one of the most important articles to read and understand. I was blown away

One problem is that it’s a basis for developing a non-fiction book from, not an easily-digested current events story to pass around. People move on with their lives. What “sticks” and gets passed around are things like the Chinese balloon story – pictures, what is it, shoot it down and analyze the debris. Simple stuff goes viral. Essays end up in literary journals avidly read by dozens. The Retiger/Sundance version from this site is appearing on a number of other blogs for discussion.
I think this also may be why the J6 raw footage isn’t gaining a lot of traction. Most of the footage isn’t interesting enough, and too many different people are doing too many different things. Some behaved badly (technically criminally), while others just walked around gawking. It’s too complex to characterize as any one thing happening.

Rogers Roots, an attorney representing Dominic Pezzola, a Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach defendant, alleged on Sunday that the FBI had committed crimes by altering evidence and requested that the court appoint a special master to review the evidence.
Roots’s move came days after the testimony of FBI Special Agent Nicole Miller, who was involved in the agency’s investigations of the Jan. 6 defendants. When cross-examining Miller, Nick Smith, an attorney representing Proud Boys member Ethan Nordean (listed as co-defendant on Pezzola’s case), revealed classified FBI emails that were hidden in a tab in an Excel spreadsheet, which included a directive to Miller to “destroy” 338 pieces of evidence and “edit out” an FBI agent from an informant report.
“Destroying evidence is a federal crime. It actually falls under a federal crime under more than one statute. The same goes with altering documents, altering records, that is a federal crime,” the John Pierce Law attorney told The Epoch Times in an interview on Sunday.
