Anytime I want to watch a particular segment of video, I buy it and watch it on my computer, which has a second digital monitor. Commercial-free of course. (Personally, I don’t know why “broadcasting” as a distribution model continues to exist in that industry. Neither “advertisements.”)

Cut the cable cord 20+ years ago – have a $30 antenna on the side of the house in case I ever have to watch the local channels, but generally I just scroll the stories online, roll my eyes, and move on!
Like you, I cannot decide what I think about Tucker…sometimes, I think he “gets it” but like so many others, he doesn’t want to admit that he was fooled for decades by “so-called” conservatives. Hey, no shame, Tucker, most of us happily voted for GW Bush in 2000, especially because he had Dick “Gravitas” Cheney as his VP. As Bob Seger once sang, “wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then”!
I also think that Tucker, in light of where and how he grew up, is still struggling to fit in with the “cool kids” and knows that if he comes out and starts REALLY telling the truth the vast majority of his family and friends will turn on him in a heartbeat! After all, “hating” Donald Trump is what ALL the smart people do, right?

I personally can’t get Tucker show as I have no cable, so I only occasionally watch online. Lots of people are being alerted and educated by those we identify as “controlled opposition, ” or “not-quite-MAGA” so I do not want them silenced. Look for an opportunity to educate beyond the corporate con media! My wife likes to listen to Lars and Shapiro… like me 10 years ago. We talk about what they said and what they did not say. Eyes and hearts can be opened further.
Monitoring enemy communications is essential in war, as is spying and infiltration.

The solution is very simple. Eliminate capital gains tax on gold and silver coins. It’s clearly unconstitutional anyway as the definition of the dollar in the Constitution is defined as 0.77 troy oz of silver. Thus how can you have a capital gain on a silver coin?
It’s also not the currency or the debt that is the problem, its that savers are forced to save their excess production in the form of currency and debt. We also don’t need to ‘back’ anything, all we need to do is let the free market set the price between gold, silver, currency and interest rates.
PDJT mentioned at least indexing all capital gains to ‘official’ inflation. While not perfect, its a way to at least reduce the rate of wealth confiscation.

Money in the real world is supposed to represent resources and production. There must always be enough of it available to denominate the billions of transactions which take place every day. But if you invent your currency and dump it into the same system, those currency units – which don’t represent anything – dilute the value of your currency until people are no longer willing to use it or accept it. (And, rightfully so. Most people were not born on March 13, 2023 …)

BRICS and the move to the use of national currencies is an indication of this. This is why the US can/must run a trade deficit in order to supply the new currency to keep the Eurodollar system (US dollar debt outside the US) from collapsing in default.
What the BRICS are trying to set up is a system that bypasses the Eurodollar system where minor trade imbalances are reconciled with physical gold.
While the exchange rate of bushels of wheat to barrels of oil can be determined via their respective dollar price they can use their respective national currencies with periodic trade imbalances being settled in physical gold thus completing the exchange of value.
Keep in mind any currency or debt you own is always and everywhere a transaction half made.
I came across a man in a business deal in 2011 who was related to the man who ran the press at the Fort Worth mint. He said his relative was working 18-hour shifts to print all the money they needed.
Now they put a number in your bank account and you take it out with a card and no money changes hands. If people pull a lot of cash out of the bank and put it under their mattress, then I think there will be a shortage of cash.

Money and value are entirely different concepts.
Money is the distilled value of human labor exerted for the creation of a particular item or service.
All economic value derives from human labor, if only the labor effort to locate and dig the nugget of gold or diamond from the soil.
Increasing the money supply does not create anything of value. All it does is dilute the value of human labor.
Taken to extremes, it only creates human slavery.

Let me preface this by saying I have little knowledge of banking.
From my perspective, Biden has destroyed the banks.
In the past bank failures, the people who the bank owed money were taken care of first, the stockholders next and the depositors got what scraps there were left. By making the depositors whole and leaving the stockholders holding an empty bag, Biden has destroyed the banks.
Why would anyone be stupid enough to buy bank stock if the stock was worthless when the bank got into trouble. Is that not why everyone started selling their bank stock?
Well, from my perspective Biden removed risk from the banking industry yesterday. The market is up over 300 this morning. Banks are forecasting interest rates to lower now with this risk removed. That is counter to the fed’s goal of raising rates. It’s all a little foggy to me at this point, but the long term consequences of removing risk cannot be good.

Creditors would be entities the bank borrowed from. Depositors would be the customers who entrusted the bank with their deposits. Shareholders would be those who purchased stock in the bank to receive share appreciation and dividends. Owners.
Banks use deposits to make money from investments and making loans. They also borrow money to do the same. Given the FUBAR nature of current events, I won’t presume to know the pecking order of compensation in an event where liabilities exceed assets.
Credit Unions operate under a different methodology where the depositors are ‘members’ and function as the owners/shareholders of the credit union. When I worked on loan committee at one, we were elected by the members from the membership of the credit union. Same with the board of directors and other elected positions. The ‘owners’ elected us. They were also the depositors, borrowers, etc.
I know next to nothing, but I have some pattern-recognition skills, so here goes.
Example: Afghanistan withdrawal should have occurred in order of:
People
Weapons & Equipment
Soldiers
Instead it was the reverse of that under BizarroBiden.
Bank failures, you say (not disputing this at all because I have no idea) used to occur in the order of:
People to whom the bank owed money
Stockholders
Depositors
Now, under BizarroBiden, we have the order:
Depositors
Stockholders
(and I don’t know about the first of the three categories)
But what I do see is that BizarroBiden is doing a big thing in complete reverse yet again.

I just happened upon this article title and decided to investigate. Last week I was seeing articles about police forces being cut and services being slashed for the same reason. Think about cops in their cars and the price of gas.
We may soon be back to 100% volunteer forces for police and fire.
I recently had a chat with the Board President for a Cemetery, who told me burials are way down these days. No one can afford them and many are going the cremation route to economize. They are hurting.
