Politically, I wasn’t well raised.
It wasn’t until I was in the military and knew I was a disposable asset that I did my own investigation into Communism and concluded that it was Satan’s plan for humanity established as a Conspiracy on earth, and had infested our own body politic.
I knew the Russians openly bragged of eventually proposing peace and afterwards crushing us, and had since the fall of the wall been ever trepidacious about their intentions, but no attack ever came, though the schemes the Communists had established here shambled on like the soulless zombie it’s adherents aspire to be, ever menacing.
I too, have in retrospection and in reading Putin’s speeches come to the conclusion that our political leaders have been lying to us and seeking Russia’s destruction against all sense and logic and that we’ve only sent robber barons and built up aggressive menacing defenses instead of sitting down and establishing an enduring peace.
I’d come to the conclusion that we were the bad guys in so many respects, that our goals were and are unjust, and that we are squandering plausible prospects for peace in search of power and exploitative fantasies of domination and destruction.
If Putin is a thug, it has been in the fight to save his country, to undo the oligarchic nightmare that the West imposed upon it, and to position his country to survive the West’s predations and provocations. I support Russia’s effort to deNazify and demilititarize Ukraine, to protect it’s confreres there, to minimize the West’s capacity for mischief, and to establish prosperity and stability.

It is a very strange and uncomfortable place to be.
Around 2006, I was flying back home from England. I was (am) an American flying home to Am. on an Am. airlines plane. I’ll try and keep this brief… I ended up being told by a guard from Pakistan that if I didn’t dump my ‘make-up’ case into their trash can I would not be permitted to board the plane. I admit I splurged on some things as it was a vacation. I wasn’t about to dump those items into a can that I’m sure they went through and kept later on. However, I was left no choice.
Once at my seat and before I sat down, I said somewhat loudly: “What happened??? Did I fall asleep and Russia & Am. change continents???” I was being facetious…but I watched as some laughed, some ducked and made themselves appear ‘busy’, while others were frightened. Lo and behold they landed the plane in Ireland for a non-scheduled stop. We were told to get off the plane and anything we left behind would not be there when we returned.
I was followed the entire 1 1/2 hrs. of the layover by some guy that had at least 5 visas. I determined he was either a Marshall or a terrorist. Either way, I was not interested in his ‘flirtations’. When we went to re-board, out of the 100’s of passengers, I was the only one called over by a female guard and thoroughly searched behind a curtain. When I returned to my seat, that same 5-visa guy was seated in front of me next to the only empty seat on the plane. I was invited to come sit with him. Thankfully, some bimbo came out of nowhere and sat next to him in that empty seat and began talking his ear off ‘cutesy-style’.
Not long after that, I learned I had been placed on ‘the list’… All because I didn’t want to throw out some costly make-up into their garbage collection can.
Now, I listen to Putin who at least sounds sensible and can’t help but compare him to our ‘leader’ who can’t make it up a flight of stairs or speak more than two sentences before forgetting what he was saying.
IDK what to feel, while feeling a bit of everything simultaneously. I just want my country back!! I want my children and grandchild to flourish in the land of the free and home of the brave. I want them to be able to walk down the street without ‘doorbell cams’ tracking their every move and listening to their conversations. I want them to be able to rent a car and take a spontaneous drive across the country just for the hell of it without being pulled over and searched because they ‘fit’ some sort of ‘profile’ as my one son was a few yrs. ago.
These folks who walk around with their I-phones, etc., and buy these cars that film and listen to everything have no idea that they are living in an electronic prison. I hear them…they’re scared. They tell me: “Mom..you can’t say ‘this’ or ‘that’ in public”. Their lives are being controlled and I don’t know how to help them which tears me up inside. I do not understand why folks did not see that when hussein passed out ‘free’ cell phones to everyone that they were being set-up. They didn’t understand that ‘cash for clunkers’ was equally a set-up so they would end up driving vehicles that monitor all they say and where they go.
In 2020, I bought a new Toyota. My son read the ‘fine print’ on their site. Buried in their trash was a warning. They tell you that the driver of the vehicle is responsible to inform all passengers that they are being recorded. NO SH-T!. .We have a copy of it. We even took it into the dealer and showed it to the salesman. He, of course, had no idea. We have also disconnected all of it, though now I have no radio in my fairly new vehicle…but it was the only way.
Sadly, I do not think there is any way back. It’s gone too far. Things may get delayed and we may get another ‘breather’ as we did under Pres. Trump in the 1st round…but unless we get hit with an EMP or something, it’s only going to get worse overall. Sorry for the negativity, but I think I’m being realistic here.

I have read your insightful and in some heartbreaking personal stories. I am in deep sympathy.
I understand you concern Jude and feel exactly the same way.
Our country has changed so much in the last few decades, as well as so many of our institutions, like our Religious institutions.
When the covid lockdowns hit almost three years ago, the church we belonged to for over 40 years locked down also.
The pastor announced he would send out weekly emails to keep the congregation in touch with each other and to keep the spirit of community going, which we thought was a really good idea.
Sadly the first two emails contained the phrase “Do what your government tells you to do” which meant in regards to anything dealing with the covid virus.
We cut our ties with that church and went looking for another one.
So many churches, universities and other once strong and independent institutions went weak when it came to caving into the creepy state health department which had no real legal right to do what they did.
And now we are here where we are with the whole country turned upside down where citizens have no rights and criminals have many.
We have to worry about the “enemy within” as much as we do the foreign ones.
What a freakin mess.

Actually, I do support him and hope he is able to stop Ukraine from becoming a NATO country right on his border. Too dangerous for Russia. Not any different from Cuba having nukes that can reach the U.S.
Putin asked for 2 things: 1-stop killing my people in Eastern Ukraine; 2-keep NATO out of my backyard and away from the other side of my fence. Call me insane, a ‘Russian Sympathizer’, or whatever you want…but I do not see these requests as unreasonable. If someone was killing my ‘family’ or piling up weapons, listening devices, etc., on the other side of my fence in my backyard, I’d probably have acted in a much more irrational manner than Putin has. I think he has shown great restraint. He has been at this for over 8 yrs. with the same 2 requests. He has sent representatives to the UN and when they begin to speak, the UN people get up and walk out of the room. I’m not rooting for Putin here. My paternal Grandparents were Slavs and Juzta was my Grandfather’s name before he entered Ellis island in 1914. Was active duty Air Force, Crew Chief, for 11 years with 6 yrs in Germany (RF-4C, short time on F-16’s, 85 to 91). I pray and firmly, actively hold to the hope that this ‘inversion’ we are living out will be amended. Trump 24 is an essential element to the solution.

I take this personally…about the immigrants. A young man from Columbia killed my son in ’99. He was convicted of a 3rd degree felony: Aggravated Vehicular Homicide with DUI and was sentenced to 3 yrs. in prison before being deported back to Columbia.
Well, last year (2022) I had to fight again to avenge my son because this murderer hired a lawyer to have his charges reduced so that he could ‘legally’ re-enter our country. Under this administration, his charges were reduced to a 1st degree misdemenaor of simply causing my son ‘physical harm’. I’ll never wrap my head around that one. All I could say in response is: ‘My son’s not harmed, he’s DEAD!!!’ Though they offered their ‘sympathy’, they still opened the door for the murderer to be back on the streets of OH.
I HATE this administration. ..and I feel justified in doing so for we are to ‘hate what is evil and hold on to what is good’ (Rom. 12:9). To me, this administration IS evil.

No..ICE won’t tell me. I was working with a Regional Director at ICE and the Attorney in her office, but by law they have to ‘protect’ the monster. However, I did contact the Embassy in Columbia and sent all the records so that they can see the FULL story. They responded kindly and his records will be flagged when he applies for his visa. However, they also cannot inform me of anything by law. I was also working with the founder of Angel Moms who went to DC and were honored by Pres. Trump. This current admin has totally dissed the ‘Angel Moms’.

Both my brothers served…one-Navy, the other Green Beret-Army in Turkey…he oversaw the border between Ukraine and Russia. Even back then, someone was ‘listening’. My Green Beret Bro is now 77 and has had to start seeing a counselor. He had sworn to never ever speak of what they did over there. Then, he goes on line and finds others talking about the stuff they swore to not talk about. Blew him away. After over 50 yrs. of silence, he’s now only beginning to open up a bit, but it’s very difficult. You are absolutely correct. Most Folks are completely clueless as to how much are military men & women actually do have to endure. In addition, they used our finest for their BS experiments with Agent Orange, Anthrax experiments, etc.. It is ‘horrific’. I’m glad your sons made it home. I will pray they, too, are gently touched by God’s healing hands.
My eyes were opened to the atrocities they committed against young American men when I learned 20+ commit suicide every day – every single day. THAT was the point at which I said no more.

I know in my heart: Rev. 21:4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” I think about that…God, Himself, will wipe away all our tears. I imagine Him stretching out His hand to every hurting soul and one by one touching our cheeks with His Love and tenderness and doing this. What a day of comfort that will be!

My youngest brother died from an overdose and it affects the whole family.
His two young daughters were affected the most I think, they are still having a hard time.
My parents, all of the siblings and many friends have been devastated by this.

Just last night, my daughter sent me a text to request the cemetery to clean his stone, etc., before 3/17 when some still go to ‘visit’. If not for my Lord, I would have joined my son years ago. Unlike my son whose life was taken by him and the ‘sentence’ my family has served for the past 23 yrs. (soon to be 24 yrs)… She had no response.

I had a Lionel Train made in Hillside that I got from a Hazmat situation and the owner was getting insurance money for it. She gave it to me and it was still in its box. I gave it to one of my cousins for his kids. I wish I still had it.

The intent is to switch EVERYTHING to 100% electric power. Cooking, hot water, heating, manufacturing, transportation, etc. Supposed this electricity will be “clean energy” supplied 100% from “renewable sources”. The existing distribution grid and power generation (still largely dependent on petro energy) is not sufficient to support all electric personal vehicles and household appliances. Never mind switching home heating and hot water, multi-family heating and hot water, commercial transport, commercial heating and hot water, and manufacturing.
Just the increased need for copper would require an increase to hundreds of times current extraction, refining, production, and distribution. Never mind all of the other metals and rare elements required. This increased capacity will never be allowed due to the environmental damage that will be done.
So even it it was possible to generate the amount of energy needed via renewable sources (which it is not) to support a current level all electric demand, the materials needed for distribution of all that power and fabricating all that electric equipment does not exist. So the “plan” must be to significantly reduce demand. Can this be done to some extent by major life quality reductions? Yes, but not to the full extent needed. Hmmm? How else could demand for energy be reduced to a fraction of current needs?
Please PDJT make the connection that EV’s ARE actually gas, coal, oil and nuclear powered!!

Crime is so bad that to clean up these sewer cities would take so much time, energy and money to make them profitable is possibly just not worth it any more.

Building new ones from scratch might be the way to go.
Then the work on doing something with the old sewer cities can move along at a slower pace ( and at a slower cost) while the work in the new cities can really get the job done.
