Credit where credit is due. Fox News Jesse Waters has been holding the spotlight on the government and railroad officials who have been downplaying the issues after the toxic chemical spill and explosions in the town of East Palestine, Ohio. {Direct Rumble Link}
The residents of the community are reporting several ongoing health issues and a community townhall was scheduled today. However, executives with Norfolk Southern Railroad cancelled their attendance, leaving the citizens of the community frustrated. Additionally, the railway contracted air and water testing with a company well known for minimizing the effects of environmental disasters to satisfy its corporate employers {Go Deep}.
Residents are being asked to sign liability waivers indemnifying the railroad, prior to the private testing of air and water quality. This just seems very sketchy, all things considered and raises additional questions from the residents. The federal EPA is not providing any assurances or answers. Jesse Waters outlines some of the issues tonight during an interview with Ohio Congressman Bill Johnson. WATCH:
The opening monologue from both Jesse Waters and Tucker Carlson stayed on this issue tonight. Given the nature of the effort to downplay the concern of the residents from both federal and state officials, it is good to see Carlson and Waters keeping the attention on this impacted community.
Someone on the Twitter brought up a good point… It would be nice to see Ohio congressman Jim Jordan get involved to support Bill Johnson in this district. Jim Jordan has a lot of power in Washington DC. Perhaps together they could pressure FEMA to engage.

The typical corporate two-step. I’m with Trump on public executions. Hang one of these railroad execs and “poof” no more derailments.
We don’t need “public executions”, only a legal infrastructure not compromised by power and money. That is all! As for the testing to be done, is there not an agency somewhere NOT behooved to corporations that these people can contract to test their water and air? I would imagine there are THOUSANDS od qualified people who would do this for NOTHING under the circumstances!
And pre-test waivers?? God, the greed of these people is unreal.
I think these pre-test waivers are a slap in the face. And tantamount to a “you’re too dumb to know what you’re signing” approach.
Yes we need public executions after a trial for negligent homicide. Financial penalties don’t harm the executives.
That’s why the need for public executions. Everything you said in your comment is the way it is supposed to work. It has been corrupted. Accountability, they do not go to jail or are even prosecuted.
Round up the usual government suspects.
Military tribunals without the wokeness. What is happening is treason. Traitors are executed. Ez pezy…. A legal solution to the corruption. Could we start with Hunter or Joes brother?
Actually I saw a resident last on TV last night saying the residents want an INDEPENDENT company to come in and test the water and air- but it costs thousands of dollars that they don’t have…the train company sent an enviornmental tester that required people to sign a waiver indemnifying the company from harm before they’d do any testing. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! WHere is Mayor Pete(we know where he is- he is somewhere shouting about Racist Roads)…where is the EPA? WHere is Joe Biden- you KNOW Trump would have been in E. Palestine …but not Joe. Meanwhile thousands of fish have died, pets are dying- the city is toxic and the Government is not helping the people of E. Palestine at all. It is disgraceful.
Hope the residents start a crowdfunding campaign. They could raise a lot of money for independent testing.
Some of them just need a place to live, nothing fancy. Let’s find the local illegals hotel, kick ’em out, and put these good folks in there.
Hate to tell you this, but deraillments will continue to happen because trains are manmade and subject to failure. Video shows that it was multiple hot boxes on a railcar that caused the derailment most likely. Take a deep breath. Let it out slowly…
And they didn’t try to slow and stop the train in the more than 10 miles from the hot box in the video even though there was a fire. That is negligence not just failure.
Am I missing something here – yes, the train derailed (happens a lot) – However, is it OK, acceptable, the right thing to do, to *burn* noxious, toxic, lethal chemicals???!!! Who was the *yes* man on that decision???!!!
Don’t know if we can believe anything we’re being told.
The reason given for the burnoff is that an explosion was imminent. And that the explosion would shoot shrapnel projectiles up to a mile away. The burn off was supposedly the only option to prevent the explosion. I don’t have a chemical background to know if that’s true or not.
Might not be their fault, sabotage happens more frequently than we know….
Why default to benefit of the doubt when their response had been this poor?
Even if sabotage, the flames from railcar should have been noticed well before the derailment. Decision to burn extremely toxic chemicals seems to have been hastily made & very unwise without concern for waterways & health hazards. RR is showing great disregard for safety & responsibility!
Columbiana County went 73% for Trump. That is all.
Not that the regime would ever punish an area for their politics, like withholding Monoclonal Antibodies from a Republican state having good success in early treatment of Covid…
Some days back I got nice snark comments from an online commenter after I said this would be Biden’s Chernobyl. Guess that didn’t age well.
When a 150 car mammoth train loaded to the gill with hazardous materials roars down the tracks for AT LEAST 20 miles with a flaming inferno coming from one of the cars axles and the train rambles on, you know for sure we are in the hands of either idiots or enemies!
Both!
And how would you know this if you’re 3/4 of a mile away in the cab of the locomotive? Hot boxes on railcars happens a lot, just not normally as bad as this one. It’s simply failure of manmade products. Happens all the time.
But it’s not just the crash, ITS THE METHOD THEY USED TO GET THE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS OUT OF THE CARS!
They have warning sensors along the railroad to deal with hot boxes. The engineer should have received a warning for that sensor unless the railroad failed to maintain it. So we are back to negligence.
Yep, like viruses.
I encourage folks to research Norfolk Southern’s history. History is a great teacher. Like the republic, large corporations have ‘culture’. We’ve seen the direction the culture of the republic has gone of late.
Let’s hear more things you hate to tell us, but…..!!!
Without an alarm going off? No heat sensors?
Not to mention trains too long…
I agree. I can’t believe they couldn’t stop the blazing train before 20 miles. Then park it in the middle of a town then blow it up to smithereens . Criminal negligence willful or not. They belong in jail for life.
We’re there any photos, videos?
Yes..I’m in Pittsburgh. Many posted on social media. They were calling it a “planned release” before they blew it up. I thought all was well until a few days ago.
20 cars out of 150 is not loaded to the gills with hazardous materials.
At least GWB responded to Katrina. Looks like this is far worse, and NS, which use to be well regarded, has jumped on the sailboat with the former BP CEO.
The protocol is the governor (Dem) has to ask for federal assistance. She waited and waited so it could be blamed on Bush.
Hurricane Katrina was an act of God.
The railroad spill was an act of man (poor maintenance and inept post-derailment response).
But the failure to prepare for the ‘act of God’ was human.
Just how does one prepare for an “act of God”?
Get down on your knees and ask Jesus for forgiveness from your sins and for salvation.
Very simple. Pray every day.
Better maintenance on railcars carrying hazardous materials?? Especially carrying thing like vinyl chloride??
Was there a manual for disposing of such materials? At the EPA? At the railroad? ANYWHERE??
By not spending the federal monies received for flood control on floating Casino’s might have been a good start. Signing the documentation allowing Pres. Bush to send in National Guardsmen to help 27 hours prior to the storm making landfall might have been helpful too.
I spent a fair amount of time on the Mississippi Gulf coast after Katrina, it was flattened.
Not so sure about that anymore; see geoengineeringwatch .org…
What a bungled up mess. Those poor people!!!
Those of us downwind and down water are all wondering if we’re going to experience acid rain events, wondering if our well water is safe, wondering if our animals are going to die, etc. Where is the EPA and FEMA and anyone in the government? I figured, well, if my animals die, then I’ll know my area is affected. Such a ClusterF.
From Afghanistan to Ohio, the Xiden Administration is a horrible failure and we are all paying the price. All of us.
I too worry about the cancers that will be caused downstream. An area in Baton Rouge near all the chemical plants is already called Cancer Alley. The Ohio River connects with the Mississippi at Cairo Il, then down thru La. and on out into the Gulf. God help us all.
If any American thinks this Federal Government, is going to care about your health?
You got another thing coming.
Forced vaccines are maiming and murdering, 10% +, of our citizens, are the same murderers who ordered this uncontrolled burn. If it was the Governor, go after him, in every way possible, starting with the money.
You must take care of you and your family and the dirt you call home.
You can’t trust the government, healthcare, insurance, or law enforcement,
The people in these corrupt systems, are getting rid of people who care about you.
They are your enemy, whining and dying is the game plan, for this sick enemy.
Your fight is to protect your selves, and band together, find the best plan to move forward by educating yourselves, to the best road toward recover, to travel.
Your County is the first responder, there is a hero, in that group. Embrace them, and coordinate a plan for recovery, and who needs to be held accountable.
Attack complicit reporters, kick them out, find a reporter who will tell the truth.
My prayers go out to all of you, who have been attacked by your government.
Make sure the names of the guilty, are shouted out all that will hear you. Find an outfit you can trust, and start asking for funding. I don’t have much money, but I will send what I can to help and there is millions just like me.
I guarantee they will blame climate change for all of this.
They can’t show any cause and effect data, for ANY OF IT.
These are the acts of Barack Hussein Obama. Less then capable Joe Biden can not figure out how to wipe his butt properly, so let’s not give him credit for this he is just not capable. Hussein Obama, has proven he hates America, despises law enforcement, and wants the U.S. military to be worthless. The main stream media never mentions Obama, but instead they keep the Trump family front and center. As for the government’s magical tricks we have classified documents, mysterious objects in the sky, massive environmental disaster in Ohio, and the Republicans are the 2nd string magicians forming committees to investigate all things democrat. Also throw in Newsmax being taken off the air by ATT.
How many more distractions do you need to see the obvious? While we watch all this magical slight of hand the United States is becoming a 3rd world nation that has less value than Panama, right before our eyes.
Good Ole Joe is the fall guy for this, he is not the president or master mind of this, so please do not give him credit for this.
They were stright out tracking balloons 🎈
Most of gov’t is inept… They are there to collect a salary and luscious bennies, nothing more.
Vinyl Chloride has a boiling point of 7 degrees Fahrenheit. It is virtually insoluable in water and floats on top of the water. By the time in gets down stream it will have evaporated away and been diluted out in the atmosphere. There won’t be an underground plume around the point of the spill because it is a highly VOC so it will even evaporate out of the soil. Ground water supplies shouldn’t be contaminated. I’d be more concerned about the other chemicals that were being carried if their containment structures were breached.
Interesting info! Hopefully you know this is true. Credentials or proof so we can all rest a little easier.
Association of American Railroads, an industry lobby, pressured the Federal Railroad Administration to reduce train crew size from five in 1990s, down to just one operator. The Ohio chemical bomb train had 150 cars and a flaming wheel axle for 20 miles before it failed. The EPA igniting is bomb is proof of another corrupt, captured regulatory agency
DeWine said that Norfolk Southern asked to have the “controlled burn.”
I keep wondering how they can call a multi toxic chemical bomb- like explosion a “controlled “ burn.? I can see a controlled burn of pure wood , trees but this?!.
How could they CONTROL where the heck the winds are going to take the toxic mushroom cloud they sent up to the four winds !. God help and protect all the folks on the path of the fallout.
Yes, and to add: God help us from “elected leaders” who are reckless insane incompetent fools.
Governor De Wine apparently has no sense any more than his little brother, Bill Gates.
Yep, get those rails clear, so we can carry more hazardous crap, with few safeguards, and make more money.
We can’t even burn orchard pruning materials anymore due to ‘EPA’. Instead we burn massive amounts of diesel to gather them up and grind them to dust.
Spilled/tanked toxic chemicals? No problem. It’s a clown world.
Right!
When you hear about BBQ being possibly made extinct, that you may not be able to cook on your grill – and they want to get rid of gas stoves – and they probably hate that aroma of the first whisp from a chimney on the first chilly day in the fall –
but they are okay with this!
Yep. That was to avoid an explosion and the metal shrapnel that would have occurred.
DeWine = Inept. Go home and drink bottled water, when your household goods are cover with soot! That stuff is lethal, even in small doses.
It’s killing small animals and fish. You can’t move far enough away, at this point, to rid yourselves of this.
Government is flaccid, unresponsive in this very critical matter.
It’s the Guv’s decision, not the RR…the disaster response belongs to the State. The State can coordinate with whomever to deal with the event, but ultimately the responsibility for disaster response actions falls squarely on the Governor’s desk.
The state and local emergency managers decided to ignite the vinyl chloride after releasing it rather that actually have an explosion in a containment vessel that would have sent metal debris, think shrapnel, in over a mile radius. They needed to do this because at least one containment vessel was leaking and the flash point of Vinyl Chloride is -61C. That is that temperature at which an ignition source can cause the VC to burn. Since there was already a fire the ignition source was available.
I understand now why . I don’t get why they couldn’t have done so in between towns .
Recent events show how utterly useless our federal government agencies are. The one thing excel at is total lack of accountability.
Jrod, they have one talent and that is money laundering. They forcibly take our money and line their pockets with it.
On this one, follow the money. How much has EPA been able to launder from the railroad and transportation lobbying?
Not to mention all the fines of everyday small American businesses they strong-arm. Nice cash haul there. Extortion pays.
These are not accidents, these are all well coordinated events that are designed to distract.
Has anything good happened since Joe Biden was installed?
Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anything.
He’s like a curse.
We got 99,000 new IRS agents under Biden. Maybe some of them could grab some tools and help clean up that mess in East Palestine, Ohio.
Ok, let’s not conflate things. There are not 99,000 new IRS agents.
Maybe Oscar knows something we don’t. One thing I know: Not to believe what the DNC media and White House tells us.
Just 87,000 new ones. big difference…
What is your point???
They already have a huge staff so sdding 87k or 99k won’t make a damn bit of difference when they come to your door since they’re ARMING ALL OF THEM.
D U H.
DC Disrupter’s post was tongue-in-cheek — as in “big difference” with an eyeroll. The clue was using “just” at the beginning of the sentence.
Ur right. It was only 87,000 new armed agents. Like the 12,000 more matters when just one at your door is all it takes….
Pedantic picayune.
Whatever. What’s your point??
Leftists are quick to defend their beloved gubmint g0d…
We get 85000 over 10 years provided congress continues to fund them.
They want 85,000 over ten years provided congress continues. Fixed it!
I have the same sentiments about the 8 years of failures of the Obama administration.
Such an elemental question. With each new days drama, psy op, horror, distraction it’s a question that’s absolutely fundamental. The answer, of course, is no.
Good at attacking 0’Bama’s enemies…
I am thinking of Coleridge – “Rime of the Ancient Mariner”
call it “The Albatross Award” and put it on Biden and everyone else on down the line – I mean, have a “virtual” albatross in a “virtual” ceremony, like that Pothead Dullard putting the Presidential Medal around the necks of all those celebrities and fellow politicians.
Very strange how neither FEMA or the EPA aren’t on the scene. What’s wrong with this administration? I know, rhetorical question …
Where are all the green new world protesters. Greta what’s her name?
They only use those groups when it is to their advantage.
Pitching her book made of trees….not kidding.
Dewine has to declare a state of emergency for the area and invite FEMA to come in.
Think of all the animals, the fish, the farmland in that area, the air, the water, the people.
So sickening that not one exec could deign to show up.
Signing liability waivers??? How stupid do they think people are?? Then again there are people who voted for Biden…………
Since that locality overwhelmingly voted PDJT in the stolen election, hopefully cynicism and suspicion will rightly rule them.
Kinda like when you’re dead. Ppl are upset and you don’t even know it. Kinda like being stupid.
In this day and age of everyone having a cell phone that can take pictures where are the pictures of all the dead animals. This would be a godsend for the marxist greenies to have those pictures. Since they aren’t being shown all over the LSM and interwebs I’d have to say the animal and fish deaths are a non-starter.
Maybe the MSM isn’t showing pictures, but I’ve seen plenty on the internet! Mostly on conservative sites! Fish, frogs, foxes, chickens & citizens of that area are complaining about strange symptoms also.
Where’s My Daddy was a MAilman John Kasich?? If he good for anything, other than being a part of Lehman Bros when they went belly up, Jeb too.
Oh, I get it, the Clinton Foundation to the Rescue!! LOL. But we all know they’re only interested in a big pot of cash for personal expense and promising foreign govts future policy favors.
I was wondering about that guy, too – whose father was a mailman – maybe he doesn’t even live in Ohio – maybe he is incommunicado.
There’s a Super Bizarre Coincidence Surrounding the Ohio Train Disaster
What are the odds?
https://futurism.com/ohio-train-derailment-white-noise
The Norfolk Southern train derailment in Ohio and its horrifying aftermath are already grim enough — but a bizarre coincidence in the town where it happened makes the tragic saga seem almost stranger than fiction.
As CNN reports, the meta twist is that one of the families affected by the derailed train that contained loads of hazardous, flammable chemicals acted as extras in Netflix’s 2022 movie “White Noise,” which follows a family as it copes with the aftermath of an eerily similar noxious disaster.
Based on a 1985 novel by Pulitzer finalist Don DeLillo, the black comedy stars Adam Driver as the patriarch of a family as they deal with the fallout from an “airborne toxic event” spurred on by a train crash carrying — you guessed it — a bunch of dangerous chemicals. East Palestine, Ohio resident and “White Noise” extra Ben Ratner says that the film, in which he and his own family played bit roles, now hits “too close to home.”
There’s a time when you can only believe in so many “coincidences”.
You are now seeing just how complicit Hollywood has been in these events.
This describes exactly how corporate ownership of “our” government led to this:

This is CNN’s version of “Hey look aliens!” but railroad version.
Who worries about global warming with these people running our government?
They will spin this into,…
this is why we need to tax you more for the climate change agenda.
Further correction: Jim Jordan has a podium and microphone in DC. And sometimes a gavel and chair.
See this? A train blows up in East Palestine, OH in a Netflix movie last year. Hmmmm….

I have read it takes place in Ohio but not specifically East Palestine.
Apparently some residents of East Palestine were used as extras in some scenes. This article says filming was done in multiple locations.
FTA –
“What’s even crazier is that White Noise actually was filmed fairly close to where the actual 2023 Ohio train derailment occurred at the beginning of February. According to the White Noise IMDb , the movie set filming location all around Ohio, including at the University of Akron, Wellington, and Cleveland, among other Ohio locations.”

triplicate samples. you cant trust EPA or NS. Midwest Chernobyl is not too strong an analogy.
Yes Midwest Chernobyl is way over the time. Radioactive materials can have long life spans and continue producing radiation for decades and longer. The primary chemical, Vinyl Chloride, is a Volatile Organic Compound that is insoluble in water and has a boiling point of 7 F. It will boil away and be diluted out in the atmosphere very quickly. Burning it off forms a couple of other compounds that are hazardous but they will suffer the same fate of atmospheric dilution and quickly
To me, although it does not involve radioactive materials as you had with the meltdown from Chernobyl, it is like Chernobyl in that they went into business as usual mode, but it’s going to get away from them, they can’t keep the secret, it will go into the wider world.
True, only Hydrogen Chloride right!
And phosgene.
DONT sign anything
We here already know they are all liars who think we’re stupid because we haven’t burned down Washington DC yet.
Speaking in regards to all thing’s pertaining to the government and those multinationals corporations connected.
It’s my hope that people will begin to awaken from their deep comfortable slumber.
My take: Norfolk Southern has destroyed the investigation scene, murdered the wildlife and farm, quite possibly the people, and turned hundreds-of-miles-radius of fertile farmland into a Superfund site, destroying economies and health for generations to come. This is a nightmare and I haven’t been able to sleep for days just contemplating the evil.
They burned it because there was a spill? The chemicals were leaching into the ground? You cannot destroy matter? Solid, liquid or gas? Why was there plastic taped to the floor in the meeting area?
There had to be release valves all over the place, to drain out the hazardous substances in a situation like this! These chemicals could be drained out in a safer manner.
What if they weren’t the proper cars for the load? VCM requires a DOT-105. If they blew them up there is fiberglass and ceramic fiber for miles, if there isn’t then they weren’t 105’s
The governments state and federal in this country are as useless as teats on a boar hog. They are wholly owned subsidiaries of the WEF. Who owns the train systems in the USA?
This is not ineptitude but part of the plan, make us sick, broke and with a little luck dead. Those that are left begging for the omnipotent government to come and save us from the mess “they” made.
Remember, nothing is off the table, “trillions are at stake”.
God bless these poor people in the long run more casualties of the war against the American people.
Why wasn’t Jim Jordin there last night?
The list of concerning actions of Jim Jordan is growing daily.
I wouldn’t expect too much from anything of consequence coming from any investigation he is involved in.
He is looking more like Paul Ryan every day.
What is he waiting for?
My bet is Six months from now after the poisonous clouds disperse and all the damage is done he’ll give a ineffective statement about how if he knew then
What he knows now he would have gone there sooner.
You see the wrongdoers need time to cover their tracks.
I think Jordan just like DeSantis can’t speak until he is told to do so ! He seems to be is patiently waiting for the all clear. Then he’ll go when he can fit it in his schedule.
I hope I loose that bet .
We’ll see.
I am starting to have my doubts about Jim Jordan also. He should have been shouting from the rooftops the day they set the chemicals on fire.
If it had happened last October, he’d have been in front of every camera he could grab.
FEMA involved???
The current director of FEMA was the director of the COVID response for Mayor Deblasio in NY City that wrought death and human as well as economic destruction on NY City.
The same FEMA director who has yet to surface in the natural and made disasters that have occurred since 2016.
Residents were contacted by the testing lab company about doing soil, water and air testing. In order to utilize their service the residents were forced to sign ahold harmless and indemnify the testing lab from any and all legal actions.
Nothing quite like getting solicited by testing laboratories, and lawyers. 😀
Anyone else feel like we’re living through a real life version of “Atlas Shrugged?”

Word just in from the EPA- “The Ohio derailment operation response was “safe and effective”.
Of course. /s
East Palestine, Ohio is 98% white. Do you think that Buttgig and other Federal officials would have shown up last at last night’s town hall were the city predominantly black?
They would have been there in force, along with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. The railroad management would also have appeared, groveling for forgiveness.
Ole Joe would be whispering/screaming racism………
COWARD, COWARD, COWARD!
gee, ya think mr executive is hidin somethin?
Let him face a firing squad instead of a town hall.
Not to down play the severity of a hazmat release event, but where were these ‘furious’ citizens when the county adopted their ‘hazard mitigation plan’ which lists ‘flooding’ as their greatest risk (to property), despite respondents citing hazardous materials spills as greatest risk (to public). Well, I know why, but alas NO ONE CARES where all the county CERCLA/SARA/SERC/LEPC moneys are squandered…on FEMA/NFIP ads, flood proofing brochures, FEMA meetings and commercial messages. I feel NO pity for the citizens who never participated, attended, read or asked questions about emergency response to a train wreck.
It takes days/weeks/months for a spilled substance to reach groundwater – how long will testing of groundwater continue? “I’m from the EPA and I’m here to help you” – followed by laughter, derision and despair and preventable illness.
Here are the steps required for FEMA disaster relief:
East Palestine toxicology test relies on controversial consulting firm accused of serving corporate interest rather than public healthThe company hired by Norfolk Southern has already persuaded 340 residents to sign agreements that reportedly waive their legal rights in the aftermath of Ohio’s train crash.
How freaking stupid can those 340 people be?
Hard to know. Remember when PG&E told the ‘hick’ residents of Hinkley that Chrome 6 was ‘good for them’? Sometimes it takes more knowledgeable adversaries to combat enemies like corporations and government in these situations.
They are traumatized…And to tell you the truth, the people who stayed in economically depressed areas because their jobs went else where aren’t the brightest.
The coal miners who were barely literate and were making $95,000/year plus great bennies in 2000, and kept complaining that they needed all their goodies back, weren’t that smart, either.
I went through hell after being thrown away by my husband at 50, and had to move where the work was. It was very difficult, but it paid off.
Most of these people aren’t doing what they could to improve their lives. They’re waiting around for someone to come and revive their industry, and that time is way past.
Perhaps they were just desperate? Very poor residents probably got some amount of “get-away” cash for signing! Probably not a smart move but who knows? Any litigation could take years with a doubtful outcome in current political environment! Hope they knew how to negotiate, but doubtful!
The impact of the number of illegal immigrants coming into our country will be a bigger impact than than Covid or this derailed train. Just a story that will go by and while train of illegals will keep coming in and that story will go on with little concern.
This is beyond disgusting. Somebody should be brought up on charges. Those poor people, I can’t even imagine.
If I lived nearby, I would offer them shelter. Utterly horrible.
It would be nice, but the fact you have to ask.. tells you everything you need to know…
What is real? What is not? Who owns the narrative?
We are at war.
We are in the middle of a war for our minds.
Watch and listen.
The Invisible Enemy has many heads.
“It would be nice to see Ohio congressman Jim Jordan get involved to support Bill Johnson in this district.”
I’m sure Jim is working to swiftly release a tersely worded email to the appropriate agency.

Gitmo is too nice. Stick him with the J6’ers in the gulag; not too close though, that Communist stench is pretty potent.
In 2012 23,000 gallons of Chloride Vinyl, spilled from a train derailment.
Here is how our government handled that accident in 3 weeks.

As the great and powerful 0’Bama said, “The strong do what they can, and the weak suffer what they must.”
Correction: That was Thucydides! The great and powerful 0’Bama said, “Democrats and their corporate, globalist, and foreign state sponsors do what they can, and Americans suffer what they must.”
Are railroads not part of our nation’s infrastructure, or are they the sole responsibility of the railroad companies?
It seems the goob’mint has a lot to say about how they should run their business and disappear whenever a tragedy happens.
These people are canaries in a coal mine! Their symptoms are deadly.
Whatever happened to “never let a good crisis go to waste?” I thought that was a mantra on the left.
NS Officials fear that if they show up to the disaster area, their health will be endangered by the chemical cocktail they unleashed on the area.
Look at the version history on page v. What are the odds that, after 17 years, the CDC happens to update the Vinyl Chloride Toxilogical Profile just weeks before a major event.
https://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/tp20.pdf
Everyone within a 10 mile (or more) radius of this disaster should be considered a legitimate refugee, and be given relocation funds, housing, jobs and food.
The Railroad executive didn’t do himself or his rail company any favors with this obviously stupid move. I guess the EPA convinced him that he wouldn’t have to explain anything since, of course, the EPA is running everything.
