As soon as this information gets mainstream, watch for an entire tribe of ‘conservative’ pundits to suddenly find advocacy for the benefit of billionaires controlling politicians. Indeed, there will likely be a benefit to bookmarking this post.
Against the backdrop of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis receiving 94% of his campaign support from multinational corporations, billionaires and Wall Street tycoons, there has been a debate about whether DeSantis would be a purchased GOP nominee for the presidency in 2024.
Based on current available evidence, the announcement of a 2024 presidential bid is a mere formality, likely to surface later in 2023, as all the background datapoints reflect the strategic and financial team behind Ron DeSantis have been positioning an announcement since late 2021. One visible datapoint has been his campaign office, specifically his then spokesperson Christina Pushaw, reaching out to a group of Florida influencers and organizing a meeting on January 6, 2022.
By the late spring of 2022 the branding and management of the pending Ron DeSantis presidential bid was strongly underway, and by early August 2022, not coincidentally timed with the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, after an unusual five days in a bunker, a new national campaign team was announced and launched. Everything from that national image launch has been carefully managed, organized and constructed.
With the Florida legislature set to change the law permitting DeSantis to run and remain as governor; and with the intentionally elevated profile and controlled national branding in place; the office of the Florida governor has transformed from a state executive focus to a launch vehicle for higher office. State policies and office advocacy now run through the priority prism of national politics, as the announcement of the DeSantis book launch is simultaneously positioned.
All of the datapoints flow in one direction, Desantis seeking the 2024 GOP nomination. None of the carefully managed policy points are contradictory to a national intention. However, the original question about who is controlling Ron DeSantis remains unanswered. It is with this specific outlook in mind that we can now find Governor Ron DeSantis’s perspective on donor money influencing politics by looking at how he answered this exact question in March 2014.
In March 2014 a young man asked exactly this question. During a Q&A session at Embry-Riddle University, then U.S.Congressman Ron DeSantis, representing Florida’s 6th District, was asked about money influencing politics. Within his answer we can gain an understanding of why 94% of Ron DeSantis donations are coming from the billionaire influence class.
Video prompted to 00:49:11 of the session, where Ron DeSantis says he feels limited campaign contributions are a problem. Congressman DeSantis says that billionaires should be permitted to fully fund political candidates, without limits, as long as the donations are fully transparent.
Beyond the view of billionaires being permitted to fund candidates for office, pay particular attention to the example that DeSantis uses regarding online sales taxes and his opposition to it. Within that specific answer you are about to see a major contradiction, that tells us something significant. WATCH:
.
The K-Street lobbyists and campaign donors DeSantis is describing in the online tax example, are the Club for Growth types who wanted states to deliver national equality on the issue of state collection of online sales taxes.
Apparently, in 2014 Congressman DeSantis was willing to take the C4G donor money and yet not support the online sales tax that would hurt Florida consumers.
However, very quietly in April of 2021, Florida Governor DeSantis signed a law requiring all online businesses outside Florida to charge Florida sales taxes on products ordered by Florida residents. The online tax for Florida residents was projected to net an additional $1 billion in revenue for the state.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis very quietly and without much fanfare signed a new online sales tax bill into law Monday, requiring out-of-state retailers to collect and remit sales taxes.
[…] Under the law, “marketplace providers” that aren’t located in Florida will be required to remit sales taxes “when delivering tangible personal property” to consumers. (read more)
As you can see from the bigger picture issue of billionaires purchasing politicians, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis felt massive wealthy interests should be permitted to fund politicians. This is in line with his 2022 position of massive donations from billionaires, hedge fund managers, multinational corporations and Wall Street flowing into his campaign and Political Action Committee coffers.
Simultaneous with this 2022 increase in billionaire funding, DeSantis reversed his 2014 position on online sales tax collection for Florida residents, putting himself in direct alignment with Club 4 Growth and other K-Street lobbying groups he said would not influence his policy. DeSantis received $2,000,000.00 from Club 4 Growth.
Add in the endorsement of Paul Ryan (link), and Jeb Bush (link), and the Wall Street republicanism reemerges as the DeSantis platform.
what a putz…..just wants to be to be a blocker against PDJT…..if he had ANY confidence he would RESIGN his Gov position to run
I smell a skunk. Just like Blake in AZ. Fork DeSantis. I will go Independent before I vote for this creep/
I like DeSantis but he is starting to scare me I think he has been bought.
Agreed, but I sure would appreciate a quick note from Sundance about Pres Trump providing 100% to McCarthy. Unreal given the history.
He also “didn’t want to pick sides” for both terrible options for the RNC chair. He could’ve easily said he likes Mike Lindell instead.
Also, anyone else notice who’s been as quiet as a Christmas mouse? Mr. Jim Jordan.
Trump operates in the real world and has successfully for 60 years.
We live in a fantasy world and endlessly fail to meet our political goals.
Whose the fool?
Keep the name calling and nonsensical retorts to yourself. It’s a very basic and warranted question to Sundance. I’ve been here 6 years and rarely comment and people like you are generally the reason I don’t.

Yeah, a tweet isn’t nearly good enough and you know that. I read the tweet and it’s not up to what I expect from Sundance.
also cannot decide between Mitt in a skirt or Harmeet “abandon the field” Dillon for RNC chief for some reason
Yep … Jordan is not what he was.
SD wrote an entire analysis of it yesterday or the day before.
Disagree. Jim Jordan has appeared on Fox News several times.
He is a snake.
Unfortunately, he is a smart snake.
And a liar.
he will NEVER be potus ..another bought slug
Maybe the CIA has decided he’s okay.
Isn’t that really what a US POTUS election is about?
Essentially, yes.
But, you can still end up like Kennedy.
He’s the ‘designated opponent” for fund raising and all the consultant fees etc etc money trees fees – he will not win if nominated, a waste of time , but money well spent for the Ronna’s and RINOs of the world
I don’t think he can win the nomination even if Trump was not running. A lot of people are assuming a lot.
Republican nomination, if not PDJT, is just a booby prize for voters – a bonanza for the nominee of course …
I will vote against RDS.
Best Governor in the country, bar none…
And now he wants to become the most bought President ever.
I have to admit highly bought is still not in the league of scams, ripoffs, and career “debts” like LBJ and the Clintons.
Donkey leads the march, maybe next an elephant. Traitors all.
Does it matter how one vs the other collects their money for leading America’s death march?
Q: When a billionaire dies, who gets their senators?
A: They should be buried with them…like the pharaohs.
Or that Chinese tomb with thousands of clay soldiers..
😁
I believe the Billionaire’s wife like when a Senator/Representative dies in office and his wife ends up getting their seat! That way there’s no loss of influence, campaign money or purchased votes! Political incest in Washington DC keeps the big club closed to outsiders like MAGA/America Firsters!
Romney dynasty?
Fetterman is next.
Political incest is exactly what it is. Look at Debbie Dingell as an example. Now look at the soon to be replacement for Fetterman (his wife) as announced by Biden, some thought mistakenly…I’m thinking not.
I wish I could remember which of Mark Steyn’s two books…America Alone or After America (both as relevant today as when they came out over a decade ago)…addressed this. He went into great detail about American political dynasties per the handing off of offices to surviving spouses or children.
As if such offices were the personal property of those who have passed on.
Banana Republic stuff. But then that’s what we now are, so why not??
Gisele Fetterman is just waiting in the wings to become (I can’t stand to say it) US Senator. She is
truly a Marxist. We have enough of the them in the US Congress. Oz won but he was a plant. He wasted no time in calling Lurch Fetterman. Why did Dr. Oz fight so hard to win his primary against
McCormick, but gave up so easily to a mentally and physically ill Leftists that didn’t win anything.
Dr. Oz is a Doctor and didn’t see how physically and mentally capacitated Fetterman was. What a joke. Bet he and Oprah had a BIG laugh on that one.
There were no good choices in Pennsylvania.
We know about Fetterman. But Oz?
We weren’t allowed to know even half about him.
In Gates of Vienna before the election, Baron Bodissey outlined in great detail Oz’s history of allegiance to Turkey and to Erdogan. Not something in his past, done and finished…ongoing. It was extremely troubling.
Whoever knows why he entered that race for the Pennsylvania senatorial spot. All I know is that after he became Republican candidate, with President Trump’s endorsement, I realized whichever won, Pennsylvania was lost.
More than Joe?
he still has a LOOOOOOONG way to go to hold a candle to Slo Joe and his family…..remember we KNOW about close to $2B in just the last 10 years…….what about the previous 40 years of the Biden crime family…..the whole family have been running their graft scheme for as long as he has been a Senator
I had gutter shields installed on my gutters to prevent leaves from collecting in them. I am 66 and getting on ladders is a bad idea. The original crew screwed them up royally. After three more crews came out the gutters were actually in worse shape. An inspector came out and said he had done these installs for three years and never had a call back on a single one of his jobs. I said, “Great. Are you going to fix it!” He said, “I don’t do that, I got promoted. I can send a crew out.”
He probably is a good governor. I have a bad feeling about promoting him.
He didn’t have any opposition worth talking about, though.
FL was pro-Trump. Red. He just did what Trump would primarily, right?
But on this other stuff with whom he’s engaging, just the opposite.
No oppo is right. Just wait for the media and lawfare to start up. A few FBI raids and he will be cowering in the corner.
Not hardly
Consider the competition.
But Desantiswould be the worse most evil President if he were to win. I hope he sticks to governor in FL! If not then hope he falls with the rest of the globalist minions.
Gotta disagree with you. Can’t stand him or his sneaky lies and back door tactics.
👍👍
Am I wrong to say that the oligarchy has selected their agent for the next cycle?
One of two.
Gruesome appears to be the Left wing of this uniparty vulture.
Indeed, there wouldn’t be a selection without at least two non-choices.
Maquis: Or, as I refer him, Gavino Newssolini.
No, you are not wrong.
You’ve got a grip on it.
Whoever the Dems run will win, even if elections were fair. I for one–and I don’t think I am alone–will write in Donald Trump before I will vote for DeXX.
Maybe, maybe not. People of “higher station” have already figured that all out. The rest is formalities.
The primary aim of all of this is creating a schism between PDJT and MAGA/America First as to water it down and render it irrelevant. They cannot have any successful nationalist movements going forward to challenge the globalist’s plans.
Same Here CH. Sadly, we own our vote but NOT our ballot. The 2022 DeSantis and Rubio margins were manufactured as a precursor to the Ron Roll-CON.
Too early to say. I don’t think he is that attractive a GOP candidate myself. Kind of dumpy, frumpy looking with no personality.
Shades of Obama. I have seen this movie before.
Look at everything Desantis does.
Just look at his background.
If he is installed he will be a neocon war monger that makes Bush look great.
He’s allowed to look good, and might even be instructed on the plays by his handlers, but it’s all limited in scope and effect.
Simply puffery.
No patient bill of rights.
No pharmacy bill of rights.
No privacy bill of rights.
No constitutionals carry.
No universal school choice.
Rampant crime.
And the list goes on.
reversing the revocation of Disney’s self governing block so I guess they are being good boys now that the election is over
Pretty blatant; does anyone think he may be “taking one” for the team? Nothing like showing people how they fall in love with a personality and stop watching the actions that person takes because said person is in the “good” column….
Side note to consider.
DeSantis can’t use the corporate money he was given to run for governor or his leadership PAC to run for president. They can only accept employee PAC funds from corporations.
The trick for DeSantis will be how does he use that money for other candidates to then bring it back cleaned for his own run for President.
Any thought on how he gets that done are appreciated.
“The trick for DeSantis will be how does he use that money for other candidates to then bring it back cleaned for his own run for President.”
Send it to Zelenskyy?
I believe FEC is still operating.
We’re screwed. CNN and like media minds have convinced half of the Republican Party he’s a polite Trump. More like George Bush. For some reason they think this is the winning character trait. We’re screwed.
We were always screwed.
Trump will never become president again.
We already know it.
They won’t care how much they have to cheat, and even get caught.
The American people have bec9me nothing but a bunch of p***ies.
They will try and indict Trump next.
Steve Bannon said J6 committee will refer to Justice for indictment Monday. I bet they wait until Christmas Eve. That’s how mean and evil they are.
If he ends up in that same crooked court as the J6’ers, he’ll get life in the electric chair.
C.U. v FEC started this (legal) landslide of monies.
Ask any common person, is it ok for billionaires and corporations
to have this much influence in American politics?
Nobody I know of thinks it’s a good idea.
Talk about a “threat to our democracy”.
They don’t give two sh*ts about what you or I think.
Just like most blacks refuse to believe that the 2020 BLM influx of monies went directly to Actblue, and then into Slow Joe’s empty campaign account… After a big chunk was given to Cullors.
“Against the backdrop of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis receiving 94% of his campaign support from multinational corporations, billionaires and Wall Street tycoons, there has been a debate about whether DeSantis would be a purchased GOP nominee for the presidency in 2024.”
If the Chinese oligarchs can buy Joe Biden, it’s only fair that the American oligarchs, their counterparts, can buy Ron DeSanti$.
I hope Trump hears Sundance and starts to hammer this home to the American people.
“DeSantis is with the rich. I’m with you”.
Filthy, lying scumbags are going to be scumbags. He makes me sick.
…never heard De Santis speak at all until now. Dude sounds like a chipmunk. Not a good sound or a good look for the guv. Presidential timber he is not.
And not tall enough.
It’s always been important historically. I will look for any small thing that will help – this might.
He can change his loyalties but not his height.
And he is a fat dumpy sausage.
He’s also short and stocky – he’ll look awful next to tall, slim, expensively groomed by Hollywood Newsom.
You are so right😂😂
I’d like to know more about RDS political past, going all the way back to his first run for anything.
Go back further…to his college days.
Well he did vote for TPP when in Congress and support neocon wars for profit so there’s that.
I am far more comfortable with a couple billionaire backers of a Presidential candidate with no contribution limits than the current system. In my opinion it would be far easier for a candidate to raise money from a few like minded billionaires than to have to make promises to a hoard to raise sufficient funds to compete.
Easier for whom?
If Trump stays in the game and finally breaks free from RNC and their WinRed money-skimming machine, you’ll see the “hoard” send wealth Trump’s way in a stream of small no-strings-attached donations that will astonish you. The only thing keeping Trump down now is his continuing cooperation with the Republican National Committee. Like Don Imus used to say about so many people and things, I say now, “The RNC just can’t suck enough.” A timeless line from the dear departed I-man.
It seems Governor Ron DeSantis is willing to tell the voters whatever they need to here and sell is soul to billionaires controlling politicians. After all, the winner of the
electionselection can be guaranteed by the government. He should be working for the people who voted him into office. PERIOD
He will makes tens of millions ‘running’ for president – he doesn’t care if he wins.
Just lookin at the money, that’s not chump change.
I guess politics is turning out to be a rich mans game, kinda like owning a race horse or a sports team.
Probably always has been. They just give us the illusion of inclusion.
There sure is a staggering amount of money involved in U.S. elections.
Stunning really.
Thanks again for the education Sundance.
Cutting off your nose to spite your face is never easy, but voting for “D” as President would be a bridge too far for me.
We had the T.V. on for a few minutes, as we flicked through the channels sport was on numerous channels..college basketball, the NFL the W.C. of soccer and others.
As long as folks have that all is good..😟
Cheers!
It’s chump change compared to what their string pullers are fighting over.
Spending a few Billions … to control Trillions.
DeSantis would do more for this country if he remained in Florida and began working with other red state governors to use nullification as a way to rein in the federal government.
I’m afraid at this point hoping for that to happen is akin to jumping out a window wearing a bath towel as a cape and hoping to fly.
Such a lovely thought though…
He is term limited to this term then he would have to skip a term qualify again. Maybe the legislature should change that instead.
Trump should treat DeSantis as if he is already announced his run. Trump needs to start portraying DeSanctimonious as owned by the Big Club Corporate Oligarchy. If not at least diss the billionaire elites as the enemy they are w/o specifically mentioning DeSanctimonious by name . . .until he throws his hat into the ring.
The more I learn about RINO RON the more I don’t like him.
DeXX ……………..de-san-tis a documented double crosser……… no one likes / trusts a double crosser ………. no one……..well, no one except the GOPe.
I was unaware of his 180 degree reversal on the internet tax issue.
That’s pretty blatant and should be weaponized against him in the same manner as GHWB’s blatant 180 degree violation of his “Read my lips, no new taxes” 1988 campaign pledge was used to kneecap his re-election run in ’92 against Slick Willy.
Another example of his dissembling is DeSantis’ repeated declarative statement to not run in 2024 if PDJT decided to run. But since PDJT already announced that he is running, DeSantis’ failure to announce his decision to NOT run proves his dishonesty, regardless of how “well” (per some Floridians) he has performed as Florida Governor.
Ross Perot torpedoed the Texas Interloper, GHWB. I believe Perot spent all that money just to show effin’ Bush how a real Texan gets it done. Perot’s lame-ass excuse for quitting makes me think Perot always was an Ann Richards style Texas Democrat. Ross Perot (the dog) blew daddy Bush right out of the water. It was a bitter lesson in revenge politics…
I watched it all unfold at the time. IMHO “Daddy” Bush would not have had any real competition from Perot had he governed the nation using true conservative principles and kept his pledge about taxes.
GHWB also pushed globalism far too much (the New World Order”), but not THAT many Americans at that time truly understood the real ultimate ramifications of that objective. Even the then-new talk radio host Rush Limbaugh supported NAFTA, mistakenly believing it represented “free market capitalism.” The voters DID, however, see Bush Sr. agree to raise taxes during his first term which directly violated his pledge.
Perot accused Bush of planning to disrupt his daughter’s wedding. At the time it sounded far fetched, but no any more.
Perot was Trump before Trump got here. He also hated Bush with a passion that was no less than the greatest passion ever exhibited by any human.
I didn’t know about the reversal either.
I don’t think Ron will announce until the Florida legislature votes to allow him to stay governor if he runs for president. Current law says that he must resign his governorship in order to run. He has not even been inaugurated into a second term yet. I believe the legislature will vote on this issue in March. From what I’ve read the legislate is open to allowing him to run and keep his job. I personally, being a Florida resident, will write to my state senator Erin Grahl
and let her know how I feel about this.Ron is making himself look like a punk, and I don’t like what he’s doing at all. But to be honest, I don’t think that an April 2021 tax bill is necessarily incriminating him in anything pertaining to 2022 donations. And changes of opinions are not necessarily a bad thing in and of themselves. My first thought is that his original opinion on the tax thing was wrong, because my first instinct is to protect the local brick and mortar from unfair online competition. The shop has to apply a tax and that could be avoided by the consumer through an online purchase? Anything I’m missing? Any debate is welcome. To be clear, I’m not a DeSantis guy, and think it’s obvious he should get his butt behind Trump and stop with this crap.
I agree with local brick and mortar retail outlets IF they really earn my dollars. Having a store does not automatically qualify for my patronage. The store must offer reasonable prices as compared to online sources. I have no problem paying more IF there is real, measurable benefit for the higher price.
The store must have personnel who are demonstrably truly knowledgeable (not just slick BS artists) about the products they sell. The store must accept returns for defective goods AND be a source of repairs and parts for as long as those parts are available. If they expect to just sell something at a 20% to ??% profit, but offer no further support post-sale, then I’ll buy the item online, cheaper, and get the same minimal benefits.
And the tax thing is a non-issue to me as a consumer. But DeSantis was 100% correct in his earlier assessment of the negatives of internet taxes. But further, it’s not JUST 50 state taxes the e-store has to contend with; it’s another magnitude of local & municipal taxes ON TOP OF state taxes. Many cities, counties, and townships impose additional sales taxes on select items or all purchases made within their political boundaries. That is a nightmare for an online seller who has to constantly remit collected tax revenues to hundreds of different governmental entities and municipalities.
Hey GB Bari,
I hear you, but regardless of the pain in the butt it is for the online seller, it still seems an unfair advantage to me. The physical shop can’t avoid the rules of the game set up within their community, but the online seller can? Just my opinion.
I do agree with you that brick and mortar is not necessarily an automatic. A bad store is still a bad store, and they are being forced to up their game, for better or for worse. But in my experience many of the locally owned shops bring a wholesomeness to the community and tend to leave a tremendous void when they go away. Like I said, my first instinct is to look out for those guys.
I appreciate the feedback. 🙂
P.S. No sales taxes period. That would be the way to go that would solve that problem.
The physical shop follows one set of rules in their community. The online seller has to follow rules in scores of communities which may differ considerably.
One of the most basic rules of business is that one does not expect business to walk in the door just because it is open. The savvy business owner makes a convincing case for doing business with him/her wherein he(she) differentiates their business from the competition by offering something the others do not offer.
No one forced them into the business they’re in. No one forced them to compete for customers. One enters into a business because they are motivated to do so to provide a product or service (or both) that offers the customer an advantage over the competition.
Price is only one aspect of competition. Those who strive to compete on price alone are never going to beat the mega corporations. So “sales tax” is an essentially an immaterial element of that competition.
The online store is likely going to beat the retail brick and mortar store in price anyway, due to volume (their market area is magnitudes larger) and especially if the online store ships direct from manufacturer or distributor. The storefront owner must carry inventory and that comes with added costs, plus the physical store sells to a limited geographically located market nearby (unless they also sell online).
The retail physical shop has a major advantage over the online store: the product is physically therein can be seen, felt, assessed by the customer. If the store does not know how to make that interaction with the customer into an advantage then I have no pity for them. Provide support that the online e-store simply cannot do efficiently. Don’t have your physical store’s business reliant upon selling products that are widely available online and that rarely ever require service or support.
I have been there and actually done this myself (I’m not speaking from a textbook). I know how to compete with out-of-area discounters and sell-cheap-and-forget outlets. Crying about sales tax fairness just means the store doesn’t know how to compete otherwise.
Same as it ever was
I know it seems selfish, but if they (the DEEP state) are not going to allow DJT to win running for president and Desantis wants all this donor $ ,can fl. have DJT as the best governor fl. has ever had? Pray and help others
Not a bad idea, Marc.
He could have more impact in Texas.
Query. What is one to do if he is not already rich from their prior life and career running for public office? Do they not seek funding? How much funding are they allowed to seek within the rules of the game?
A candidate who is loved across the country can raise 100’s of millions in small donations. President Trump did it.
It will be hugely impressive to see him outdo that with billions from small donations.
If every single one of those voters who voted for him donated just one dollar a day for an entire year…
I already proposed a solution here … An honest PAC that will recruit just half of the 2020 Trump voters to give just $10/month on autodebit through Revv or Anedot. Some will give more. No lavish salaries, etc. It’s enough to hire good talent.
Would give us $400 million every month, almost $5B in a year … Enough to compete with big money, able to fund our own machine, don’t NEED their money.
Oh…
those are the rules…gotcha.
The push for RDS will come from every direction. The media, corporations, and endorsements from the Republican Party itself. The object is to keep Trump from getting the nomination. Also be prepared for a push to tie the clot shot around the neck of Trump. More people are becoming enlightened as to the serious effects of this killer. Operation warp speed will be Trumps undoing. I’ll never vote for DeSantis. Trump is and will be my only choice.
The bottom is falling out of the world economy and the Globalist American Empire needs a war time president …i.e. Lil Bushy DeSantis. He will lead us into war so we can replace those tired old Tunnels to Towers quad and paraplegic guys with some new ones.
“Every man has his price, or a guy like me couldn’t exist.”
Howard Hughes
I thought Zelensky said that.
The more I learn about DeSantis and who he associates with, the more I am turned off by him. Yale, Skull and Bones, and Harvard – Who’s kidding who here. No thanks! No thanks at all!!!
Isn’t it a better option to cut the middleman= the politician (uppps sorry Ron, there it goes your job), and directly vote for the billionaires??????
For sure things would be more transparent, less murky and convoluted. Billionaires could save a lot of the bribe money for the ejem ..the big guy and donate it to better causes like charities.
This guy pretends to care about Florida.
He has all the charisma of Jeb Bush, but none of the height; DeSantis is a manlet. Get DeSantis on a debate stage with the Reverend Doctor President Donald J. Trump, PhD, and he’ll be blown out like Jeb was.
Epic smack down.
Another general added to the NWO deep state US government forces.
yep
Ron! Please Clap.
PDJT is going to obliterate this 2024 Edition of Jeb!
I have one national vote left in me and no matter what it will be for Trump
Only true maga person in the race
Had Enuff of uni party
This seems to be a habit of DeSantis. Make a big splash about a publicly beneficial policy and then on the QT, reverse the policy to one that his donors want.
Disney U-turn that DeSantis says is not a U-turn. Online sales tax U-turn.
And he is thoroughly a neocon who wants to reward all those mega-billion defense industries. He cannot be trusted.
Exclusive — Trump on RNC Chair Race Between Ronna McDaniel, Harmeet Dhillon: ‘I Like Them Both’
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/12/17/exclusive-trump-on-rnc-chair-race-between-ronna-mcdaniel-harmeet-dhillon-i-like-them-both/
If Trump doesnt stop stepping in it, RD wont have a problem winning the primary if he runs. Go ahead and attack, but lets be realistic here: as long as election fraud isnt addressed, he’ll have to get much more than 71,000,000 votes to win.
Election fraud is not going to be addressed in states that have a Democrat governor or Democrat Supreme Court who can nix any election integrity matter that won’t ensure a Democrat win.
Trump is being shrewd. He probably has a good idea how most of the delegates are going to vote. Why would he come out as opposing anyone who might be RNC chair? If he opposed the one who wins, it wouldn’t help him campaign for 2024.
On a day to day basis, doing his current job, DeSantis is governing as well or better than anyone else.
Yet anticipating the future where many dynamics are still unknown and seeing him as an enemy is just sad.
He voted for TPP which makes him an enemy of every American.

Higher drug overdose rate per capita than Commiefornia!
That falls on old joes back. He’s the one who made it possible for the heavy duty drugs that have been brought into the US via old joes terrible decision to open our borders for the last two+ years.
The one thing that I had hoped he would do….Florida is the state with the largest number of J6 defendants. I understand at the beginning why he condemned the violence – most of us Republicans did because we didn’t understand.
But now that we know that this was a psy-ops by the FBI/DOJ/DHS/etc. I have never once heard DeSantis say anything about the unfairness of the prosecution of misdemeanors, etc.
sigh, here we go again.
GOV DESANTIS,
seems like he’s doing everything right, as he seemingly has done his whole life/career.
In order to be able to do anything, One first has to win!
I get it, treepers love PDJT ,
As do I, but I’d rather have RD than biden newson kamela….
WHAT THINKING PERSON WOULDNT?
let’s stop the circular firing squad.
BETTER, to support, and attempt to influence, whoever the rep nominee becomes. There will be plenty of time for that, as anyone who wants the rep nomination MUST KNOW, MAGA support is essential.
please stop with the constant hit pieces.
Who benefits????
Peace
I actually really like DeSantis. He has done so much good for Florida, it’s really amazing. There is much work to be done though if you want to position the state for long-term, sustained success.
Look no further than what the GOP-led legislature in Florida tried to do with redistricting. They were about to give the democrats at least one house seat and maybe two. DeSantis had to stop them and fix the situation himself.
The FL GOP is a cesspool of RINOs that needs serious work and there’s plenty of vote fraud in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Tallahassee that needs cleaning-up. DeSantis needs to stay in Florida and keep working. He’ll never be POTUS anyway. Why stain yourself with a McCain-like loss.
Hmm.
I strikes me that “look no further” is something that sundance never does. It’s always worth doing to look further…
I also agree Ron DS has done some very good things in Florida.
But sundance’s evidence array is growing daily stronger.
Have you considered Muchelle Obummer? I hear she’s pushing her book and sleazing her way to a possible campaign.
Muchelle and DS -wait is that deep state initial or desantis, no matter, are same oily creatures of the swamp. The 2 sides of the same coin. Any democrat is pretty much a desantis in my view. Supporting the mega millions and not the people. Your peace is war.
Quoheleth,
The personal rancor reflected in that remark, I don’t intend to dignify with comment.
But I would like to address your attitude of hopeless negativism….
(Big Mike lol)
Michelle Obama, with her political societal views,
Compared to RDS?
That’s what you think?
Or is that what you think I think?
Either way…
Please just stop!
Step away from the bottle,
Or the bong.
Jeeeeeeze Louise…..
Nope, many of us are done supporting the GOP wing of the uniparty just because they promise they won’t hit us anymore. I have no intention of playing the battered conservative, and am doing my best to convince other Republican voters to let the party die.
I respect that.
Enjoy democrat Rule, without whining.
The perfect shouldn’t be the enemy of the good.
Holy Cow, realize how far we have advanced!
Sea Change
And exposure of the DEM/Media/deep state/industrial complex..
OFF THE CHARTS.
It’s like fighting islamic countries, they think in terms of decades if not centuries.
The DEMS never quit, never stop, never lose the BIG PICTURE…
Control.
We should take a lesson.
Smart people have a replacement strategy before the demise comes. We had better do that, too.
We were intended to be a BOTTOM-UP COUNTRY. The RNC is structured like that. It’s still what people want.
So…What’s your plan? All I know about you is that you are confined to one issue … TPP. Got another idea?
So, you do support George soros and the fraud the coin boy has been arrest for defrauding the American investors then. No thank you, I’d rather know of who’s supporting which candidate.
I would truly rather see the evidence than go on emotions. We have been fooled too many times by pretty PR and need to look at substance.
The reversal on online sales tax is just one of many hidden issues that I am glad to know.
You’re young I presume. Read your history. Nixon – evil, Bush evil, Bush evil (killed 1M civilians in the middle east).
Not anymore, hahah
I’ve been following politics since Reagan.
Pat Buchanan style.
Bush V Gore
They convinced US that it was the vast D v R battle for the soul of the “liberal v conservative” views.
Seriously is there, in retrospect, a dimes worth of difference, when it comes to governance?
Thus DJT lifelong democrat
bigwig …
becomes the man, who exposes the uniparty scam.
Now I don’t know much about RD.
but I can say, of all the people in the mix.
On early glance, PRETTY SOLID MAGA.
I love that Sundance is, for us all, holding the microscope to Whoever ,
is potentially the nominee.
I just object to the way he’s portrayed, and don’t kid yourself lots of “low information “ and or, political newbies, on the TRUMP TRAIN, and great on them!!!!!
so don’t discount the power of first impressions.
And the senate fiasco of 2020 in Georgia.
Where we allowed perfect to be the enemy of the good.
Would you rather have that blonde chick, with rino tendencies, who like MOST will vote R almost all the stuff we want, or two Ds
lockstep with the party?
Purges are good
Losing control of Senate,
not so much.
Peace
Watching all of this with Desantis is fun and educational, but he will never be President. He will be filthy rich, but he will never be President.
Does anyone seriously think the people getting brain-dead senators elected and stealing races in the open across dozens of states are suddenly going to stop? Their control will only increase.
Besides, if Trump isn’t the 2024 nominee, half the GOP base stays home. No need to cheat at that point…..
Agree with your last sentence.
The deep state will nominate and make sure is a winner whomever they think will follow their plan.
We the people have become useful pedestrians to them. They’ve been running us over for decades. The problem is we keep getting up but don’t know how to stop the engine of the car that keeps running us over.
” half the GOP base stays home.” I will stay home.
Yup.
Or just write-in DJT. Those are the only two options as far as I’m concerned.
So you too support George being one of Biden’s top two donors.
George Soros.
The only 2 sites I comment on are here and Citizen Free Press. Every time I mention the money DeSantis took from big finance and the establishment support he has on CFP, my comments immediately disappear. Might want to add Kane to the astro-turfed DeSantis fluffer brigade. Which would be a huge deal because CFP gets huge numbers of visitors. And Kane was an advisee of Never Trumper Dr. Larry Sabato.
Agree fully. Want nothing to do with CFP anymore.
Kane thinks he is the King of the Internet evidently. He gets a lot of viewers, but then, so did Drudge.
CFP commenters went south. As did PjMedia and Instapundit. Redstate is filled with racists. Haven’t been to Breitbart for a long time.
If you do not toe the line at CFP, you are not allowed to comment. No bans, etc…just poof, gone.
I am so disgusted with this smarmy politician and his ilk.
The uniparty machine is moving.
Let’s put some sand in its engines.
To improve my outlook on the world I am going to re-read the Rado Thomas story.
“The Courage To Be Free”
What does that even mean?
If I didn’t know better, I’d swear one of Harris’s staff wrote that.
LOL!
If he keeps this up he might get a free membership to the club , green fees , a green jacket and a Rolex watch.
He should read the fine print.
That is a free membership to the club as a chauffeur to the inner party, green taxes, a spiffy green straitjacket, and an imitation Rolex made in China.
Mike ‘Big Mike’ DeSantis – Luchesse Mafia Family crime boss!
Ron grew up on west coast of Florida ‘not far’ from a Mafia ‘summer home(s) location (Tampa area) (think Gotti amongst others).
Trafficante territory!
It was always said that Trafficante and Marcello (Tampa and New Orleans) had more to do with the CIA and Kennedy assassination the Chicago or NY mob ever thought about.
Those 2 families were always independent of the control of the NY and Chicago families.
Only group they could never control was the original Dixie Mafia. Never could and never will.
Dixie boys for all their faults are loyal Americans though.
Get the picture?
So which family took care of Ron if there was any connection at all? You sayin’ Ron is Dixie? How could he be that and Skull’n Bones too?
Ron is just 2024’s errand boy for the Club/Uni-Party/Globalists to fragment and destroy MAGA preventing DJT from being the GOP POTUS candidate and thereby eliminating his political influence.
Ron De Santis and Kristi Noem: a new kind of porn star
America of the past was a place where wealth came from making things, producing things.
Rockefeller produced kerosene for lighting before electricity, and he made it possible for poor people to stay up and read and socialize. A new world. And Rockefeller, in real terms, was the richest person ever.
Henry Ford made cars so cheaply that the poor man could afford a car. And Ford replaced Rockefeller as the richest man.
Rich men now manipulate paper. They produce nothing. They manipulate people along with paper.
Worthless people like Zuckerberg can spend hundreds of $millions manipulating elections.
The free speech argument is that leeches like Zuckerberg still have the right to express their opinions through spending their money. The democratic argument is that Zuckerberg cannot be allowed to outweigh millions of others.
I doubt that the idealistic view of free speech can survive this absurdity.
The other absurdity is the Citizens United assertion that corporations are people and have free speech.
As do those Union employees who also exercise their groups free speech rights. I see no difference.
Musk produces things.
Swampy nasty little dude. He will never get my vote. Trump or bust.
Self deleted
DeSantis confirms he aligns himself with the Obama’s Campaign Finance theory of record breaking campaign expenditures.
Our country will have no hope without reform. The more DeSantis gets exposed, the more stomach turning he becomes.
