People around the country are looking at the Georgia Senate runoff between Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Hershel Walker. Lots of people wondering what is going on. Well, last night the Republican Party of Georgia gave an excellent example of what it means to be Republican in Georgia.
Republican Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan appeared on CNN to share his opinion of Republican candidate Hershel Walker. As Republican Duncan outlined during the interview, he stood in line for an hour, took a ballot at the polling location, and then decided he could just not vote for a Republican in Georgia, so he turned around and walked back out without voting.

The 2022 goal of the Republican Party of Georgia is in alignment with the 2022 Republican National Committee. The goal of Mr. Duncan and others is to remove the populist movement within the RNC by destroying the Make America Great Again grassroots movement.
Was Duncan censured? No. Was Duncan criticized by fellow Republicans? Again, no. Was Duncan ostracized for promoting an election position against the interests of the Republican Party? Yet again, no. Did RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel rebuke the effort to undermine Walker as carried out by Republican Geoff Duncan? Rhetorical at this point, I know.
In the bigger or big pictures, Republican Lt Governor Geoff Duncan is doing what professional Republicans do. He also knows there’s nothing to fear from it because he is operating on behalf of the majority Club interests who support his agenda. However, somehow this will be President Trump’s fault.

A key integrity provision to unseal Georgia election ballots was blocked at the last minute on Sine Die by Gov. Brian Kemp and Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan. Duncan prevented the Senate from confirming House changes to SB89 which included language to unseal Georgia election ballots and improve ballot chain of custody procedures. SB89 language would have allowed counterfeit ballots to be detected and electronic votes to be verified. Those provisions are essential to deter fraud in upcoming elections.

And, being a precinct captain, you obtained a copy of your State R parties by-laws, and supervised a team of MAGA patriots that went door to door, to find other MAGA patriots, and urge THEM to attend monthly meetings, so you could raise a “motion from the floor” to vote out the RINOS running the meeting, and replace them with MAGA Patriots, …right?

I live in GA and will vote, but I’m afraid the fix is in. Kemp and Raffensberger are tainted–they covered up the 2020 election fraud and I suspect their reward was to be re-elected. I don’t know of anyone who voted for Raffensberger in the primary, yet he won with 51% of the vote to avoid a runoff. A popular Congressman Jody Hice ran against him and only got 35%. In this runoff, the R coattail does not extend to Hershel.
GA is not a red state or blue state or purple state. It’s a yellow state. It’s completely corrupt; full of piss poor cowards unwilling to do anything.
2019 both Kemp and Rottenburg approved the purchase of new Dominion cheat machines for use in GA….their reward was undisclosed payoffs and reelections for both assured in 2022

A chap by the name of Vincent Agnelli (you can find him on Substack) analyzed the GOP’s machinations during recent, past elections in VA, KY, and GA. Do you know what happened? The GOP in those three states DID NOT CONTEST every race! For example, in the GA state legislature, they didn’t run anyone in 70-75 races, thus automatically ceding those seats to the Dems in what is a dark red state. In VA, for the 2017 or 2019 race, the VA GOP didn’t contest 29 races; they blew off 20 races for the House of Delegates, while blowing off 9 state senate races. It was no surprise, but the VA state legislature was under Dem control during Gov. Coonman’s reign; during that time radical gun control measures were passed into law in VA. I don’t recall the numbers for KY, but it was a similar situation; the KY GOP let the Dems run unopposed in many races, thus ceding those races to the Dems.
In PA where I live, the GOP controlled state legislature passed mail ballots! That’s right; our legislature passed mail ballots in to law. While some would argue that it was for COVID and thus a special situation, one can still ask the question of WHY didn’t the PA GOP, at least put a sunset provision in the law? Why didn’t they just allow it for the 2020 election? Why did they allow it in perpetuity? Also, WHY didn’t the PA GOP challenge our state supreme court (which has elected justices, and is 7-2 Dem) decision to unilaterally change our election laws, when our state constitution clearly states that only our state legislature can do so? IMO, to ask these questions is to answer them; like the GA, VA, and KY GOP branches, they seem to want to cede control, both short and long term, to the Dems.
In VA, had the GOP contested the 29 races they blew off, they could’ve won enough to retain control of at least one house of the VA state legislature. If we assume that they’d won even 25% of those 29 races, they could’ve retained control. During Gov. Northam’s (aka Gov. Coonman) reign, the Dems enjoyed a 55-45 majority in the state senate, while they held a slim 21-19 majority in the House of Delegates. If the VA GOP had run in all races; if they’d won 25% of them; then they could’ve taken control of the VA legislature. Winning 25% of the 20 State Senate races would’ve meant 5 seats, while winning two of the nine Delegates races would’ve meant two seats. So, WHY didn’t the VA GOP run candidates in all races? As the old lottery commercial says, you have to be IN it to win it! Again, to ask the questions is to answer them.
If what Sundance says is true (and I believe it is), then one can only come to the conclusion that the GOP, both at the state and national levels, is deliberately placing itself in a position to play second fiddle; they’re placing themselves in a position to lose, particularly over the long term. Winning state legislatures is CRITICAL! Why? Because they do the redistricting after the census; whoever does redistricting determines who wins Federal House races; that, in turn, determines who will control the House on Capitol Hill. If I, an amateur political observer, can figure this out, why can’t the GOP? Again, to ask the question is to answer it. That is all.

I have heard several people say they refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils, so they don’t vote for either. To them I always say, when you refuse to vote for the lesser evil, don’t be upset when you have to live with the greater evil.
We will see if this works. I suspect it will. If this guy will go on TV and say this then MAGA has become a minority of the minority Party the same way the Tea Party did.
