This is a key decision within the battle for the heart of the Republican party. Both Priebus and Ryan are leaning heavily on the need for corporate funding to continue.

There is a reason the USA is a Constitutional Republic with equal laws for ALL. And this is also why the Constitution applies all LEGAL (must abide the Constitution or it’s Null and Void) laws equally as well.

Never forget that the US Constitution is a legal and binding contract that created the federal government by the States for the people. What this means is that LEGALLY the federal government may not change the Constitution. That requires Article V Convention of States, which they never called every time they changed the contract (Constitution) binding them.
As and important aside for those that think Article V Convention of States will fix a fraudulent corrupt government from stealing that Convention when all they really need to do is RESTORE the country and Constitution as Thomas Jefferson stated would be needed against the corruption he saw seeding in.

You’re forgetting the more common way to amend the Constitution–and that’s by an act by Congress.
Last time I looked, Congress was the Federal Gov’t.

Reince Prebus is a flat out liar. I heard him on the Mark Levin radio show claim that the RNC gave money to Michelle Bachman’s campaign – she confirmed that she had not received one penny from the RNC. Liars gonna lie, cheaters gonna cheat.

To Reince, if you get paid a lot and get poor results, you get fired. Supposedly the RNC wants cash to purchase influence in Congress. If all of your candidates lose to the party with nothing going for them, you get no influence in Congress. The RNC better learn to play the ballot collecting game– and fast. Priebus is also the one who talked with Deputy FBI Dirrector McCabe about Trump-Russia and then made the press release including confidential infomation that started that narrative in earnest.
Either Priebus was duped by McCabe to make a potentially illegal press release, or he was in on the coup and willingly played his part.
I go for the latter and I say follow the money with this snake. The Republicans have been hiding, getting rich, siding with the dems till our great president Donald J. Trump came on the scene and exposed them, The only thing is the dumb voters have not figured that out yet.

The MAGA movement has two choices for moving forward: (1) execute a hostile take-over of the Republican Party; or (2) form a MAGA America First third party.
No one who favors executing a hostile takeover of the Republican Party has yet offered a credible and detailed plan for how this can be done. Neither has anyone who promotes forming a third party, one which has any chance for national success in 2024, offered a credible and detailed plan for how that can be done.
In any case, unless the problem of election fraud is addressed — somehow, some way — the MAGA movement cannot be successful in turning America around regardless if the movement stays under the Republican Party’s banner or else if it forms a third America First party.
Sundance has stated his firm opinion that the Republican Party must stop relying solely on a strategy based on winning votes and must instead adopt is own methods and means for harvesting ballots. However, a credible and detailed plan for just how a Republican ballot harvesting scheme would work has yet to be developed.
IMHO, forming a third party is a non-starter. Our MAGA energies should be focused on executing a hostile takeover of the Republican Party, and on creating a credible and detailed plan for just how a Republican ballot harvesting scheme ought to work.
Sorry Battleship, as an Independent I would put the energy into starting the Maga party. Taking over the Republican party is like taking over a mob family. Other option would be to take over the Constitution Party (a conservative party) and add the America First economic agenda to their platform.
The party infrastructure is already in place. Just need to work to get them on ballots in all 50 states.
I remember Ross Perot, he did have a large following, it was a good beginning, but the demrats went after his family and ruined his daughter’s wedding, did things that when he told the world no one listened, called him names, mocked him etc. I think someone should have helped him but all the people did was lister to the media and put him down. Now we know he was telling the truth and no one has talked about it.
Without a detailed plan of action, talk of a third party is just talk. So if you think it can be done successfully, then offer a plan for how to do it.
What will be the source of funding? How will the America First party be organized? How will its members be recruited? What will be the communications and outreach strategy? What will be the strategy for dealing with states and localities where the two-party system is embedded in the election process? How will you convince long-time Republicans now holding an elected office to leave their party for America First?
And last but not least, what would be the strategy both for winning America First votes and for harvesting America First ballots — doing so legally so that corrupt local, state, and federal officials, both Republicans and Democrats — don’t arrest the America First volunteers for perpetrating election fraud?
Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. The Establishment Rs&Ds at the federal level and at the state level (those who control elections),and the courts would be all in to resist a third party threat to their playhouse.
At best, a third party would win a few seats and have no power or control, IMO. Eventually they would just fade away. Much better chance expanding MAGA within the Republican Party.
I think we really need some trustworthy MAGA organization to develop plans to primary RINOS and get them out of the Party. 2024 would be an excellent time, but we need to start now.

I love that Priebus’s key argument is that the RNC hasn’t been “outraised” by the DNC.
What is the purpose of raising funds?
A) Help Republican candidates win elections;
B) Enrich RNC insiders, consultants, and cronies;
C) Draw contributions away from actual candidates so they are dependent and RNC can kill candidacies it disapproves of.
D) Make sure current RNC insiders stay in power and assure that middle and working class Americans do not stink up the Party with their votes and all.

The Republicans can develop a strategy of Two Factor voter ballot authentication to defeat voter fraud.
They can collect affidavits from those who vote for republicans in every county along with who they voted for.
If the counts don’t match up with the governments board of elections counts,
the election can be contested in a court and nullified.
Voters can even take a snapshot of their ballot as evidence.
Example , we have 55,000 voting citizen affidavits stating that these voters cast their ballot for all Republicans.
Why did the Board of Elections tabulate only 35,000 votes for Republican candidates?
