It might, heck, -check that- it does seem overwhelming at times. But that is the nature of this collectivist strategy. That is the purpose of this bombardment. We must hold strong and push back against the lies and manipulations. If you look closely at the attack, it is weak and much of it is psychological bait. Do not fall into the trap of despair.
When I share the message “live your best life”, it is not without purpose. Every moment that we allow the onslaught to deter us from living our dreams, is a moment those who oppose our nation view as us taking a knee. Do not allow this effort to succeed. You might ask yourself how I can, one person, a flea looking into a furnace, retain an optimistic disposition while all around me seems chaotic and mad.
Simple answer, it’s your choice. Two wolves fight – one filled with despondency, isolation, despair and dark imaginings; the other filled with faith, something bigger, unrelenting hope, focus and driven to remain connected. Which wolf will win? The one you feed.
Shake it off. “Get up, get back on your feet, you are the one they can’t beat, and you know it.” WATCH:
The point? It ‘seems’ chaotic and mad because it has been created to appear that way. There are more of us than them; they just control the systems that allow us to connect, share messages and recognize the scale of our assembly.
And here we are… divided by a network of seemingly intoxicating systems; many purposefully driven by the modern dynamic of social media, steering a tribal outcome we are only now just beginning to fathom.
Ultimately the collective weight of progressive leftism is putting us is isolation. There are many historic references to this disconcerting sentiment to review with hindsight. However, ultimately the feeling of isolation first begins with a rejection of God. Defeat it by embracing Him.
In/around July 2020 it was obvious in my travels we were on the precipice of a disconnect from human interaction that would numb our psyche to what ultimately matters, fellowship.
Not only are various governmental agencies forcing the separation of people from their community networks, we were also seeing faith-based organizations, churches, buying into the fear.
Even in areas where churches were not forcibly shut down, we saw a structural shift where some faith leaders were willingly ostracizing their community under the guise of various medical, social and cultural alarms.
This is not good…. not good at all.
Fellowship is the essential ingredient to a purposeful life. How and why we interact with each-other is how and why we recharge our core humanity.
To see faith leaders willing to separate from the function of fellowship was alarming. However, as individuals we must not allow this foreboding sense to become the normal expectation.
Our nation needs more people like you, right now. Don’t wait… engage life, get optimistic however you need to do it. Then let that part of you shine right now… This is how we fight. Hold up that flag; give the starter smile… rally to the standard you create and spread fellowship again.
Throughout history large armies have been defeated through the process of division. It is not a leap to see the same strategic objectives being deployed against social assemblies including congregations. It is puzzling how many in leadership cannot see the danger in social and spiritual distance when the bond of fellowship is needed more than ever.
Each of us has a different connection to our community. Each of us has a different level of internal strength… such is the nature of living. However, the distance between people is manifestly not a good outcome when combined with the lack of food for the soul.
The influence of social media is already troublesome, physically distancing from human engagement only worsens the impact. There is no digital replacement for the true fellowship of humanity on a personal level.
Ultimately it is the currency of human connection that is the true value in our lives.
We have each felt how our positive influence upon the lives of others nourishes our own sense of purpose and fulfillment… Do not lose that. Do not think you can compensate for that through other arbitrary measures; you cannot.
With local, state and federal leaders moving increasingly toward self-interest; with disconnected workplaces creating social distance; with faith-based leaders unfocused on the value of fellowship; and now government entering your home to tell you the importance of separating yourself from your family we must dispatch these arbitrary decrees very deliberately.
Perhaps we are in this position today because we didn’t sit still enough and contemplate the real priorities in our lives. Fellowship is the essential ingredient to a purposeful life.
I will not divide my humanity, nor concede my core view of fellowship, simply to comply with the demand of another that I consider my brother or sister of greater or less value than myself. Any system that seeks to steer my path will not benefit from my participation. I choose freedom!
My f**king choice…
Our Liberty is inherent.
Our freedom is inherent.
The removal of both requires consent.
I choose not to disconnect.
I choose purpose.

IMO, given history showed that the vast majority of society were not active participants in protecting and fighting for their liberty and freedom, we, those of us who choose not to participate, can show our patriotism by supporting those who do and, more importantly, not rat them out to the regime.

I needed that. Not only the music and words but while watching I was watching all those young musicians. Teens. Teens who work hard at their craft, something so simple as that gave me hope. Let me tell you a true story. I was a Common Pleas Court Magistrate for over 10 years. During that time I suffered from severe autoimmune disease but through GOD’s grace was able to do my job. Was responsible for the entire Domestic Relations docket, arraignments, and at times jury trials. When my judge retired I assumed that I would continue my position under the new judge; wrong, he brought in his law partner so I was out of a job. To make matters worse my last month on the bench, I fell on the ice and broke my right hip. So, rather than going out in glory on the bench, I went out with a whimper in the hospital.
Shortly after that, my husband’s company downsized and so no job for him either. So my IT husband, went to work for a small manufacturing company making things, sweeping floors and whatever else was required to bring in some money. Money was tight but shortly after that I was able to take my pension which helped a lot.
A year and a half later I went to work as a Magistrate in a neighboring county, to help clean up the docket; it was a year behind. Mission accomplished. So what did my judge do; he fired me. Said the attorneys didn’t like me (I didn’t show favorites and followed the law); he was up for re election and didn’t want me to hinder his re election chances. Thankfully by that time my husband had a job in IT again.
After that I was in a bad car accident which took out the other hip; was attacked by my dog who broke my arm, my husband was diagnosed with cancer and heart disease, I almost lost the sight in my right eye, my autoimmune disease decided to go nuts, my brother was diagnosed with ALS and my husband was downsized again.
Now we are both retired. By the grace of almighty GOD we are still here.
Yesterday, after 12 years, I received a letter from my original Common Please Court inviting me to have my photograph professionally taken and placed on the Wall of Honor for Retired Magistrates and thanking me for all my years of service. Well, I cried. It was nice to finally have someone say thank you. Yes, I know that many people never get this, but I am blessed to be one of the few that did. So, in a week or two I will make myself presentable and have photograph taken.
Everyone has a story; this is mine. GOD has a plan for everyone; however, it might not be the plan you had in mind. Never give in; never give up!

Ditch television programming for good. Go cold turkey. I did it in early 2013. It’s only hard at first and you don’t miss it soon thereafter. Get a headstart by going on a vacation in nature, when you return don’t turn it on.
ALL of it is programming. Comedy, weather, history, arts, music videos, crime, soaps, sports, all of it. They call it programming for a reason: they’re telling you what they are doing to viewers.
I will search out the occassional clips and videos I seek on the internet, but it’s active, purposeful and precise, not passive and filled with uninvited info intrusions. So I’m not totally in the dark. But I remain in control.
You won’t miss it, trust me. Fill your life with true fellowship, others who bring you joy, hobbies and people that bring you joy, challenge you, stimulate you, provoke you, inspire you. Provoke, stimulate, inspire, challenge others. Teach and learn daily. TV is for suckers. They suckered me for 40+ years, they’ll get no more of my life. I am free. All should be as free.

Yesterday when I went to the store I pulled up to a car similar to mine. In the store a kid approachs me and tells me he likes my car
and if I would sell it because my car has a manual transmission.
We had a conversation about our cars for about 10 minutes then the conversation turned to current events.
This kid was 20 I’m 60 and He told me the kids are very scared over what is happening and they know they have a much harder path thru life then I have had.
It made me feel good they aren’t fooling all the kids.
They are not fooling that age group. I have a son that age and the conversations I hear transpire among his friends give me hope. They recognise what is true, what is fat, what is male and female, what is gay propaganda. My son even tells me how they get over on professors they know are left wingers. They laugh about it.
It is still heavy pressure living though.
Those who ‘came of age’ during the jug ears era…and those coming of age now…are frightened.
America is no longer a land of real opportunity where any American kid can grow to be a President, or astronaut…

I recently had an event happen, in which our daughter disclosed unthinkingly, what she thought of her mother and I, that she considers us among the worst people on earth. Shes been heavily infected with far left social contagion.
In a few short sentences, the kind you can’t take back, she exploded her relationship with us. Her mother was devastated. I was angry.
I hugged my wife for a long time, and simply said: I know it hurts. I’m hurt and angry too. But we’re going to go on and live our best life in spite of this. They can break her (our daughter), but they can’t break us. And they wont.
And this event pales in comparison in comparison with the nationwide reality we with open eyes face every day. Stay strong, stay on your feet, yield not an inch, and live your best life. Every day you do, they fail.
I well understand the devastation to you both, it happened to me as well years ago. She hated me for not making enough money so she could have what she wanted. She wanted nothing to do with me, her older brother or sister, she went and found herself a husband with a trust fund. I never saw her again.
It will be especially hard on the date of her birth, and the holidays. Try to hug each other a lot then and each year will get better until you find your joy in life again. It will come back a little at a time.
It will be hard on her mother, but not so much on me.
Betrayal, as it sits with me, negates any notion of quarter, sympathy or forgiveness of any kind. She has become the enemy, and in doing so, forfeits everything.
She better hope god forgives her, because I will not. I have no time in my life for, and will not share my life in any way, with cult members.
She’s been ghosted, her number deleted from my phone and blocked as well. For all intents and purposes, the good natured girl we thought we knew no longer exists.
Oh I get it, I took it as the unexpected and unforgivable betrayal of family. Her older sister sought her out a few years ago and the girl had the audacity to tell her sister she would try to forgive me if I wanted to call.
I told my older daughter that her sister had died to me, I had already mourned her for years. Not going to happen.
Thank you, I have “Let Go and Let God” to a daughter & her 3 daughters ….but I have not Let Go of God’s Promises, which is why I pray for them daily, would sure like for them to show up in my forever……I have been a “lurker” at the Treehouse for a number of years now, and have never commented…..til now.

I too had a rebellious daughter when she was younger, told her I loved her and if she ever needed me to call but I did not want to talk to her until she showed me the respect I deserved. She called me a week later. Keep praying for her.

I too have a daughter who did that to us. She disappeared for 7 years after college. I found her eventually. She has cut ties several times. Most lately 2 yrs ago over Trump.
She called yesterday and we talked for an hour. She’s 51 now and 3 of her friends recently lost their mothers .
She even said “I love you”.

So much easier to surrender and give in to the lies. I’ve seen clerics and prelates become such liars and hypocrites – they can’t be trusted. One thing to do I think to maintain a ‘strength in numbers’ is to balkanize in a Red State, and then work to fortify it.

Best advise Sundance gave us was to find like-minded people in our area. After we moved out here in the rural where we did not know a soul, we hung out a big flag. In time our neighbors started stopping in and now we are surrounded by God fearing down to earth people. We visit each other. But wow a Treehouse get together. that would be amazing.
Yup. Network in local non-electronic ways, with like minded people, and leave your phones at home when you do.
I deleted all social media like FB, pintrest and such years ago. This is the only forum I interact on that isn’t in real life. We took Sundance’s warnings seriously about what was coming.
We sold our Las Vegas home when things where hot, paid off the mortgage and bought a roof with walls on 5 acres to be debt-free. Been a rough year fixing it, but now we have our own well, septic system. Spent the summer building garden beds, the fall canning and freezing food. It takes time since we are over 65.

Maybe it could coincide with a sub-gathering at the Olustee, FL Civil War battleground site – I’m walking the battlefield today, seems appropriate.
The Union tried to set up a southern Sherman’s March to cut off Florida and retake it for the Union, most specifcally to capture votes for the 1864 Election… the more things change, the more they stay the same!
5000 Union troops with infantry, artillery, and cavalry, set out west from Jacksonville; their mission was to proceed down the RR tracks to blow up the bridge across the Suwannee River. 5000 Confederate troops set up an abush along the way and sent out a skirmish party to draw the Yanks into the trap.
Contact was made, and battle was joined, here, in the piney palmetto woods, between 2 equal forces. A fierce firefight thru the pine trees ensued, lasting intensely for around 6 hours into darkness. Cannons and mortars fired ball, grape, chain, bar, and canister shot indiscriminately, shredding men, horses, and palmettos into ribbons and chunks.
The Confederate defenders repelled the enemy late in the evening, leaving the North in retreat back east and leaving close to 3000 dead and mortally wounded souls behind in the scrub – 2000 Yanks, and nearly 1000 Confederates. It was one of the most intense and bloodiest battles of the entire Civil War.
It is now a State Park, and hosts one of the largest Civil War Reenactiments in the world every February. I’m going to be sure to plan to make it for 2023, as such deplorable behaviour must be crushed and terminated. (/s)

Thank you, Sundance. Community can be found on the the internet. Any time a message of hope and encouragement from God is received it is community and it strengthens one’s resolve, fellowship, and ability to renew one’s Spirit. Holy Spirit has no problem using our digital world to communicate messages of fellowship, hope, life, love, encouragement, strength, and well being.
We are being divided. that is more than obvious. There are 2 divisions…the division the left is attempting. To me that division is to divide us from God…that is the left’s purpose. It is correct we make the choice(s). We must listen to God’s wisdom and use the gifts we have been blessed to possess by His Blood and resurrection. Discernment, and sticking to God closely will always bring that Biblical strength we need.
I do believe there is sense of desperation, fear, and isolation. However, once we get to the bottom of ourselves, we begin to see the real battle. Being reminded about the Light, and Way lifts more and more each time it is exposed.
The important thing is to share our God given blessings in the way that is presented to us…every avenue possible. If that is by text: so be it. If it is by email: so be it. If it is by a post on social media: so be it. God used all sorts of avenues to deliver His Word. To me the choice is not to trash modern media…the choice is to use modern media to pronounce the wonders of faith and God Almighty. And to remember, humans don’t always understand that God’s does not always match human ways. We think God will respond the way we think it should be. Not hardly.
We are being separated. Separated from the world, as mentions in the Bible. Divided from those who are wolves. The big separation is going. It is all individual…individually we must decide to be separated from the word. Not separated from God. Community and fellowship can reinforce that and is powerful. But not necessary in order to be victorious. The Power of God has no boundaries. He is calling for the ears of EACH, individual…and we are leaning. We must move individually into His Cross, seek power…then the miracles burst forth. To me, I am seek to allow Holy Spirit to separate me from the world during the age of the great shifting…
You were speaking about every avenue presented to us–A friend from church years ago never threw away any of the “postage paid” envelopes that came her way. She didn’t respond to the offers but returned the envelopes with a tract in them. I thought that it was a very clever way to get the Word out!

This might seem rude but we need to call those people out.
Reading those who have allowed the illusion of hopelessness to take over reminds me of that quip in the Bible to “not let your hearts be hardened” – it is a true thing, to not allow that to happen, to purposely look for and find that ray of joy, even if just a wisp, gives hope room to reside,
doing so will show us the way, collectively and individually, the way through these days.
I think of them as sad eeyores chewing thistles.
But I am also thinking it’s time to say this to them:
By giving up, you are giving the enemy everything they want.

Sundance that is one of my favorite videos ever. I watch it often! Did you know that Tommy Shaw does not read music? Yet he is an amazing musician.
After the 2020 election I was broken. I was on my knees in front of God asking why why why….I was really fearful. And angry. But He taught me to once again trust in Him and walk with Him and I’ve tried to do this constantly and it shifted my perspective. We have a long war ahead of us and it will be a fight for all the marbles. There’s much to be concerned about but we must continue to move forward.
This election, I was highly disappointed but not surprised. I am angry and sometimes I just feel sick. BUT I refuse to live there. Because this is what they want. It is the first step to our defeat and I refuse to be defeated. I know who our Light is and I continue to try to stay close to Him. Hang in patriots.

Plus it’s not healthy to “wallow”, that’s the term I use when I find myself obsessing about problems and thinking things are never going to get better. That’s a fast track to serious depression. We all need to pick ourselves up or associate with more positive people and have them lift us up.

Yes- troll themes before and after the midterms: “worry worry”, “donkeys bad – elephants good” and “its all over now”. Most here do not take them seriously but all the noise makes it harder to read the comment section. Seems to be tapering off but for the persistent ones a poke at just the right place and they either go away or lash out. 🙂
Actually the “donkeys bad – elephants good” isn’t necessarily trollish. Conservatives, especially those of us who support Trump, should be voting for GOP candidates. Dems are always worse than Republicans. Even if you can’t vote for your GOP candidates, vote against your Dem candidates.
Styx and particularly the song “Fooling Yourself” provided a lot of solace to me in my dark teenage years circa about 1978. The Grand Illusion was one of the first albums I purchased. I’m still pretty much a lost little boy 45 years later but good to see Tommy Shaw still at it. He looks like he hasn’t aged a bit since Styx was in its heyday. Good for him.

Let me echo, in my own way, what so many here have already said.
We were made from nothing, and we are nothing and can do nothing without Him who made us.
What is happening to us as a people, here in the west, is that we are experiencing what it is like to carry our pride to its logical conclusion, a return to the nothing that we once were. On a very practical level, cleaving to God increases the good, true, and beautiful. Falling away from Him, relying on ourselves, breeds further sin and misery, death, nothingness.
What this means is that we must now strive, in every was possible, to do God’s will, to model that and encourage others to do the same, openly, unabashedly, and possibly to our own detriment at times.
This is the ONLY way out. We cannot pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps. We’ve fallen and can’t get up, but He will pick us up if we ask and let Him.
