It might, heck, -check that- it does seem overwhelming at times. But that is the nature of this collectivist strategy. That is the purpose of this bombardment. We must hold strong and push back against the lies and manipulations. If you look closely at the attack, it is weak and much of it is psychological bait. Do not fall into the trap of despair.
When I share the message “live your best life”, it is not without purpose. Every moment that we allow the onslaught to deter us from living our dreams, is a moment those who oppose our nation view as us taking a knee. Do not allow this effort to succeed. You might ask yourself how I can, one person, a flea looking into a furnace, retain an optimistic disposition while all around me seems chaotic and mad.
Simple answer, it’s your choice. Two wolves fight – one filled with despondency, isolation, despair and dark imaginings; the other filled with faith, something bigger, unrelenting hope, focus and driven to remain connected. Which wolf will win? The one you feed.
Shake it off. “Get up, get back on your feet, you are the one they can’t beat, and you know it.” WATCH:
The point? It ‘seems’ chaotic and mad because it has been created to appear that way. There are more of us than them; they just control the systems that allow us to connect, share messages and recognize the scale of our assembly.
And here we are… divided by a network of seemingly intoxicating systems; many purposefully driven by the modern dynamic of social media, steering a tribal outcome we are only now just beginning to fathom.
Ultimately the collective weight of progressive leftism is putting us is isolation. There are many historic references to this disconcerting sentiment to review with hindsight. However, ultimately the feeling of isolation first begins with a rejection of God. Defeat it by embracing Him.
In/around July 2020 it was obvious in my travels we were on the precipice of a disconnect from human interaction that would numb our psyche to what ultimately matters, fellowship.
Not only are various governmental agencies forcing the separation of people from their community networks, we were also seeing faith-based organizations, churches, buying into the fear.
Even in areas where churches were not forcibly shut down, we saw a structural shift where some faith leaders were willingly ostracizing their community under the guise of various medical, social and cultural alarms.
This is not good…. not good at all.
Fellowship is the essential ingredient to a purposeful life. How and why we interact with each-other is how and why we recharge our core humanity.
To see faith leaders willing to separate from the function of fellowship was alarming. However, as individuals we must not allow this foreboding sense to become the normal expectation.
Our nation needs more people like you, right now. Don’t wait… engage life, get optimistic however you need to do it. Then let that part of you shine right now… This is how we fight. Hold up that flag; give the starter smile… rally to the standard you create and spread fellowship again.
Throughout history large armies have been defeated through the process of division. It is not a leap to see the same strategic objectives being deployed against social assemblies including congregations. It is puzzling how many in leadership cannot see the danger in social and spiritual distance when the bond of fellowship is needed more than ever.
Each of us has a different connection to our community. Each of us has a different level of internal strength… such is the nature of living. However, the distance between people is manifestly not a good outcome when combined with the lack of food for the soul.
The influence of social media is already troublesome, physically distancing from human engagement only worsens the impact. There is no digital replacement for the true fellowship of humanity on a personal level.
Ultimately it is the currency of human connection that is the true value in our lives.
We have each felt how our positive influence upon the lives of others nourishes our own sense of purpose and fulfillment… Do not lose that. Do not think you can compensate for that through other arbitrary measures; you cannot.
With local, state and federal leaders moving increasingly toward self-interest; with disconnected workplaces creating social distance; with faith-based leaders unfocused on the value of fellowship; and now government entering your home to tell you the importance of separating yourself from your family we must dispatch these arbitrary decrees very deliberately.
Perhaps we are in this position today because we didn’t sit still enough and contemplate the real priorities in our lives. Fellowship is the essential ingredient to a purposeful life.
I will not divide my humanity, nor concede my core view of fellowship, simply to comply with the demand of another that I consider my brother or sister of greater or less value than myself. Any system that seeks to steer my path will not benefit from my participation. I choose freedom!

Right now, Faithful Patriot, I would settle for a fire circle, my Bible, and a good friend who plays a guitar. We could worship right there, raw, no lights, no pomp, no fog machine. Just the flame burning brightly and the smoke filled with incense pleasing to the Lord. Started using incense in my prayer time. Has made it so much deeper and more intimate. I purchase the resin from MonasteryGifts online and I come to think of it only as I was mourning my dear Greek Orthodox friend who passed from this world due to neuroendocrine cancer. I remember the cathedral filled the memorial service with incense and I could just sense the Holy Spirit with us. I believe He is with us regardless… but I appreciate the depth of prayer and intimacy and pray the Lord knows my intentions of drawing nearer to Him.
The best + about only true hope I see for avoiding the worst – though not defeat – is a Revival in the search for God’s Will + acknowledgment of our own fallen natures…

Boy do I ever need to heed this. I’m retired and when I fled Illinois for the mountains of North Carolina I jumped into the deep end of a wonderful community of local musicians, playing at get-togethers every week and then later getting some paid gigs. That all ground to a halt in 2020 and some good venues even went belly-up. Things started up again about a year ago, but the funk I had gotten into while being one of the very few COVID resistors in my area has stopped me from fully engaging again. When I have joined in it feels great but part of me says playing my music is just a distraction; that it’s just whistling past the graveyard and I really should be doing something more “important”. Of course I then end up doing neither thing. Soooo … I will work on my attitude, my music, and get off my butt to encourage both myself and my fellow musicians.

The first committee meeting I went to was all the latter and they practically drafted me on the spot (along with two others presumably just there to listen).
I recommend to any locked behind enemy lines in a corrupt blue state, that you start finding like minds in person.
It’s the community that sundance mentions, and it’s emotionally extremely powerful in guarding against the larger evil pysops with which we are bombarded.

For me live music is one of the keys to life, music that I like, that is. It lifts the spirit and soul like nothing else can, at least at the human level. The endorphins go sky high. And if it is really good music people will shake a leg or do some clapping along and will get the blood flowing. Besides churches being shut down, missing live music was detrimental to me.
The best musicians I find are the ones that aren’t trying to “make it”, but just play for the love of playing. Being paid and/or having the tip jar is great, I am talking about those that want the fame, instead of the joy. Hope you get back in action soon, people need you.

Fellowship is so important. Yet my own children turned out Democrats. At Church, we could not receive communion for year and a half because the Latin Mass requires receiving on the tongue and this was forbidden by the Chinavirus. I will not forgive our medical profession and bishops for that.
When our church caved to both the COVID edicts and the BLM self-flaggelation we stopped attending. My wife and I, both lifelong churchgoers haven’t been back since. We know we need to find a new church home but haven’t heard of any that stood up to the tyranny. I’ve mentioned it here before that my nondenominational men’s Bible study group also went into full COVID fear mode and I haven’t returned to it, either. So very hard to see how little backbone and wisdom there was from so much of the church.
My wife and I have gone through the same thing. Recently, we decided that we must re-engage. People are imperfect, but you cannot have influence if you’re not involved in fellowship and the community. Even If you are with people who don’t always agree with you, an opportunity may come up to change a mind.
You’re not alone with this experience.
It may be a challenge, but pray and look into a Traditional Latin Mass, possibly with the FSSP as opposed to a diocesan TLM Mass. Latin was one of the three languages on the cross while Our Lord was suffering and dying for us. Therefore, it, as well as Hebrew and Greek are sacred.
They are very welcoming and very good at teaching!

look for an Independent Baptist church…then look to their doctrine when you do go to see that it lines up with the Holy Bible…..that type of church is the closest to the original Church of Jerusalem and the churches the Apostle Paul planted around the known world in the 1st century right after Calvary
We were attending a Baptist church affiliated with the SBC. Supposedly the SBC, while moving leftward itself, dies not control local churches. Nevertheless, and despite it’s profession of conservative doctrine, our church still caved to the COVID and BLM narratives. The latter wasn’t as deep as the first but even the short-lived kneejerk reaction exposed a weakness that was, to say the least, disconcerting. There is a small Wisconsin Synod Lutheran presence here and supposedly that’s one of the most conservative groups
LTM here too! Actually, LTM is more healthy than receiving at NO. The LTM priest is not face-to-face with you. Not to mention, you’re receiving the Body and Blood of Christ Himself. What could be healthier? I pray for, and tremble for SO many bishops. So many Judases.
Amazon has these nifty little individual cups and wafers all in one. Reminds me of a pudding cup. Peel off one layer you get the wafer, peel off the next layer and you get a sip of grape juice. People stayed in their seat socially distanced and after the minister was done people went down the aisle to collect the cups so there wasn’t trash to deal with or drops of juice spilled. Where there is a will there is a way. I find many churches didn’t want to find a way.

With the outrages of the last several years, I’ve found myself getting more firmly rooted in family, church, friends, and work. I’m more aware of how precious and satisfying they are. Seems like it’s happened unbidden, on its own. I certainly can’t claim any wisdom on my part made it happen. I’ve just been very blessed. Seems like it’s gone in the opposite direction from what I had expected as the years add up.
I’m sure Sundance’s “Live your own best life” pieces have helped.
It’s been a good thing. And all good things are gifts from God.

My church, across the street from Trump Tower, took out our BEST Minister, installed a minister who backed George Floyd. I have dropped my donation to $20 per year. From SO MUCH more years ago.
Now, I feel as though I should not give anything.
Where do I go? Except the Bible, because I have researched everything within an hour’s drive, now an hour north and find nothing even close. All part of the US Presbyterian Church. All compromised.
I must keep my faith and yet have no church.

real Church Services. Maybe” Service” was never had, or
dwindled along the wrong way.

Possibly on line? I no longer have a church home, but find much inspiration and guidance there, and in my Bible. Many churches are lost, in a multitude of ways.
Agreed. So many I have visited are off the deep end.
Keep trying. It took me 40 years to find a church that I love. I also have had good luck w/following websites and going to various churches when they do special services or events. Long ago I gave up on the denomination thing. Some I go back, some I don’t. I love older churches, not modern contemporary so I started w/those. Catholics tend to offer days where the church is open you can go in and pray, I will do that and I am not Catholic. No one says anything. Something nice about sitting in a church and just praying.

I do not give money to the United Methodist Church 501-c-3 corporation anymore. They own the church buildings & parsonages that people like my 80+ yr. old parents worked like dogs to keep going, physically & monetarily, since 1852 in this case. My home church just sold their parsonage & the UMC got the money, not the church congregation. The sister church to this one just closed its doors. At least 2 churches I know of are in the process of separating from the UMC. The federal government & marxists are running the UMC now.
Organized religion by all of our trusted sources has gone to the wayside.
Maybe you can find a Sunday School where you can find other believers and opportunities for fellowship. As far as the preaching goes; there are many great preachers on television and online.
There are many lukewarm churches that God is in the process of spitting out. When I finally realized, after almost 60 years, that God existed and had come to earth, I decided that was a matter of consequence. So I joined the church that Jesus Christ started and which He said would never be destroyed.
Since the 1960’s, that Church itself has been suffering more and more from the same modernist disease that is taking apart the rest of Western Civilization. That is why the modernist Catholics are trying to destroy the Latin Mass. But they won’t, and it’s growing in the US more than anywhere else in the world. That’s where I would head if I were you.

We’re in NE GA and experiencing the same.
Many Methodists churches have left the Conference because the Methodist Church now recognizes and brings in Ministers from LGBTQWXYZ group.
Our Catholic Church, which I have tried attending over and over, is almost as bad, if not worse! The Pastor is here from Columbia on an H1-B1 Visa and must go back every 6 months. The English Mass has been reduced to 1 at 8 am Sunday and 1 at 5 pm Saturday. All other Masses are Spanish or Vietnamese. That’s not so bad, other than the drive to and from, which is about an hour or more. The Deacons are Southerners who give the sermon and assist with Communion. That’s okay too.
What really turned me off was the Sunday morning that all the pews were lined with the publicized annual statement of finance for our Diocese. Millions and Millions of Dollars! This Parish normally calls for 3 collections every Mass.
When I saw that, I just could not pretend any longer. That was the last time I attended Mass and no I did not give to any collections that day.
So, you see the Catholic Church today is not what we knew when we married 52 years ago and raised our children in.
Very Sad.
That’s 100% correct. The Church, being the Body of Christ, is going through the Passion that her Lord and Savior went through.

Guest4ever is right. This is how God is getting the Church down to fighting weight, and it was predicted by many private revelations going back a thousand years or more, not to mention The Apocalypse itself, Matthew 24, Thessalonians II etc.
I feel honored to be called upon to stand with Him in this moment, as hard as it is at times. This includes, incidentally, being infuriated by some of the NO Masses that I am forced to attend most of the time because of the lack of ready availability of the TLM. Still, there are good young priests who do a good and reverent NO Mass, and there are places where wonderful, traditional Catholic music is available.
I would say don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater. The reason I’m Catholic is that, as Chesterton said, “It’s all true.” Cased closed. You can’t say that about any other faith. Just can’t. And why something in which the fullness of the truth is not present? I can’t imagine going anywhere else, not necessarily because Roman Catholicism is so great but because everything else is so much worse.
Remember, the perfect is the enemy of the good. Catholicism is as good as it gets, even if much of it is rotting before our eyes. The rot will fall off someday, maybe soon, and you can play a part in preserving and building what comes after. What a great privilege.
Ever since I read Isaiah’s Job by Albert J. Nock 20-some years ago, I knew I wanted to be part of the remnant. It was several more years before I entered the Church. I hope its not self-inflated to say, so far so good.
Oh my. So very sad. It is obviously time to start new churches.

if you are a Christian it is not “your donation”….the tithe is God’s and failure to return it to the church for its operation is theft from HIM…this is not me saying it but straight from the WORD
God loves a cheerful giver, but the tithe was what Israel gave for the temple and the Levites and their families. The New Testament church is called to meet together and care for its widows and orphans, not to service massive building debt and run entertainment centers for the youth. Christians have the responsibility to be wise stewards.
the Old Testament has passed away by your reckoning?……..that is right God loves a cheerful “giver” but the tithe is not “giving” because he claims it as his due or first fruits….always has and always will……God would wish for you to ADD to his fellowship through offerings and faith promise which is ABOVE the tithe…THAT is giving and is to be done in the spirit of love…..offerings are used for both general and specific purposes and if you read Paul’s Epistles in the New testament his missionary journeys were supported by what is often called “Faith Promise” gifts that are used to THOUSANDS of missionaries around the world…..the SBC uses a hierarchal monetary support system to send and support their missionaries but the independent churches across the world train, pray for and support missionaries worldwide…..Look up Baptist International Missions Incorporated (BIMI) as a kind of HR that helps them manage their finances and benefits while in the field…….again the tithe is God’s commandment to the Christian to support his church….if yours is a local church you SHOULD have both oversight and voice over how it is used…….if you attend a sect that sets a hierarchy over you that makes these determinations you are not attending a biblically based church in how it is governed
Try to find what I call an off-brand church, they usually focus on the Bible and not the other stuff. The small rural churches tend to keep to tradition.
If you are in the city, start a small group in your home, or find spot to start a small group. Public park, at least in the warmer months. For a while I went to hymns and hops service in a bar. We had church at 12:30, the service was done w/various people taking turns, a pot-luck afterwards, and then at 2:00 the bar opened up and if you wanted to hang around and have a beer you could. There is a website that lists places that do hymns and hops.
Sundance, Thank you for the much needed exhortation to buck up. Thank you for this refuge, a fellowship in itself, this opportunity to share prayers and information, and mostly to realize that there is still a community of believers who are cognizant that we had a great gift in our home, our Constitutional Republic, and in our apathy have nearly squandered it.
We are not alone.
Everyone knows that the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776; not everyone knows that the Revolutionary War lasted until 1784.
Preach!!
Crying out to God about everything brings that heart connection with Him we so desperately need. And this fellowship with Him is the key to truly living–
versus just trudging through the constant barrage of assaults from this world.
Then Jesus’ Living Water flows freely through us into the lives of others–
because it is not impeded by all the unexpressed and unprocessed pain that would stop up the flow.
There is no reason we cannot have complete peace and contentment and JOY through the grace of Jesus reigning in our hearts. It’s there for the taking.
And when we lose sight or get bogged down He will with great understanding and compassion restore that quiet strength.
I can’t go a day without countless conversations with the Lord about everything going on around me–and in me.
And He ALWAYS helps me, encourages me, and reassures me–and fills me with light and truth and LOVE.
And I feel His love and fellowship here in this place–this blessed refuge.

Sometimes I feel like I am asking God for too much. But I guess a reminder of how we need his help so much keeps the soul humble.
Am I the only one that feels this way?
It’s so amazing how on one hand we truly are completely unworthy that God would do anything for us.
Yet to Him we are so very valuable – even his delight!
We are his beloved children to whom he wants to pour out all of his goodness into our hearts and lives.
All of this is for our sakes-but above all for his renown and glory that all will see the kind of God that he is.
He wants us to ask big. In this we are acknowledging his greatness and power as the one true and Almighty God –
The One truly worthy of praise and honor and devotion.
