Why did they only use markers on Election Day?
Trump supporters voted in overwhelming numbers on Election Day, in person, due to the concerns about mail-in ballot fraud.
It looks like they took the necessary measures to suppress these votes as well.
So you can bet ALL “difficulties” and “machines misbehaving” and “here, use this sharpie” on election day are to disproportionately spoil Republican ballots and disenfranchise Republican voters

I voted today with my own PaperMate fine point tip black marker. Ballot was accepted and no bleed through. Hid it in my handbag and took a photo of the ballot. Taller Half did the same.

Dixville Notch, NH, traditionally reports their vote first. They have 5 registered voters.

We have technology to use direct democracy within the constraints of a republic of states.

Representative government is not inherently flawed, human nature is.
A Republic depends on having a moral people in order to perpetuate it into the future.
Implementing a form of direct democracy would be flirting with existential threats to the stability of our republican form of government.
Democracy was well described by the founders as mob rule with its inherent flaws and lack of barriers to the excesses of the fickle passions of the masses in the moment.

I did errands and voted!! For the first time in over 40 yrs, voted straight GOP & I didn’t care if any of them were Rhinos because I wasn’t going to vote for one single solitary Democrat!
