I find it a little funny how the RNC insiders gripe and complain that Donald Trump and the MAGA vote base do not spend more money on RNC approved candidates. Actually, I cannot remember a time before when an individual politician was required to fund the party slate, simultaneous to the party insiders supporting candidates who attack the individual candidate and MAGA base voters. Yes, both are actively sabotaging our candidates and our country. Fwiw, I’ve been saying for years now that we have to cut the head off Hydra before any real forward progress is made. They have thousands of connections and insider knowledge of the system, after spending much of their adult lives in DC, and will continue using all of it against us.
If we keep electing MAGA, eventually we will win.
This is why those two are doing everything possible to keep status quo. If these MAGA candidates get into office, McConnell and McCarthy’s power structures will be weakened. MAGA won’t go along to get along and that attitude could entice other Republicans in congress to NOT re-elect these guys back into their power positions.
They are both creeps, worse then the democrats who stick together. Little boys that can’t be men let this happen. They are repelled by alpha-males like Trump.
We need to cleanse our state parties first. There has been a takeover at the county level here in Utah and the change is working its way up. They passed some changes that hurt the base and this is going to take some time. We are about to flip a D seat with a MAGA Republican in the state legislature. Our Governor wanted to shut us down and the legislature stopped him. In their quiet Utah way people are hopping mad. Mitt never shows up to anything the R’s invite him to, he stays in Salt Lake and Park City, he is done, there are more of us. Mike Lee has the stones to face the people on a regular basis all over the state. He will win.
And the ties that bind, can be stronger still.
