The lawsuit alleged that Alex Jones and Infowars’ parent company, Free Speech Systems, used the Sandy Hook mass shooting to build an audience and make money. The jury in the case ordered Alex Jones to pay $965 million to the relatives of eight victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and an FBI agent because Jones stated the 2012 mass shooting was a hoax.
As the jury verdict was read, Alex Jones was broadcasting. {Direct Rumble Link} WATCH:

It is doubtful that any of this award will be recovered by the plaintiffs.

Well for starters you can thank big pharma for pushing drugs like anti depressants on kids. Why aren’t the pfizers getting sued? Oh yeah, their the arm of the dumbocrap communist party.
This is ridiculous. I am not an Alex Jones fan. But this jury decision is chilling.
A direct attack on free speech for our side.
Rumors saying Musk will pay his legal fees/fines.
Why the different amounts, some people’s feelings were hurt more than others? It’s nonsense. Allowing this trial to occur is cruel.
It’s never about actually fixing problems. It is always about signaling virtue. Just more of the same.
From what I’ve researched Alex Jones is worth somewhere between 5 and 270 million dollars. Awards like these are preposterous in that they can never be collected.
True, but it’s a hell of a lot of leverage.
Good.
Now do Pfizer, Fauci, CDC, CIA, DARPA, the Obidens and their Chinee Owners who just murdered 6 million people and counting with their Virus/Vaxx Bio-Weapon.
One last question:
What ISN’T a Hoax today?
No. Federal government deal, giving them all Immunity due to the “kill us all” viral pandemic.
BUT, according to the Pfizer rep in front of the EU, FRAUD was involved. Tough cookies on immunity!
Not when they set out to perpetrate fraud and knowingly conspired wirh foreign governments to rig/steal the presidential election. Treason, subversion, crtimes against humanty… all capital offenses.
If They Try their own for Heinous Crimes, Then when they stand before God, these responsible for the Trials won’t be “guilty” if they do JUSTICE,
BUT THOSE heinous crimes they did NOT try, but showed the world they heartily approved of them, then THEY ALSO are on trial for the SAME MEASURE, in the SAME CRIMES.
Fitting for Moloch worshipping Massacrists to pay in Full before the One True Lord God.
This is absurd. Getting your feelings hurt is not grounds to sue.
They will live to regret this “lawsuit” in a make-believe world, at the expense of Real People.
Making the US Legal system the farce the left wants it to be.
I already don’t trust our legal system to provide justice and fairness, to me and mine.
This type of virtue signaling crap will give more and more Americans reason to join my way of thinking.
After the courts lose control, it is left to vigilante justice.
When that happens, every single person involved with this joke of a legal system need only look in the mirror for the reason.
It is not the common citizen that is turning our legal system into a joke. It is coming from within.
LEO’s, Lawyers, Judges etc. better get a handle on this, before We the People take your job from you. We can make you irrelevant.
Alex Jones is far, far from my cup of tea. But, for our level of freedom to work, it has to work for the morons among us as well.
Otherwise we are only as free as the government says we are; and I don’t trust a single SOB in any level of government today.
If you work for the government you are the enemy until proven differently. You earned that.
Now, I gotta go do something important like hock up a hairball and mail it to the RNC as a donation.
BTW, SD; great work you all did down in FL. Amazing what common Americans do when they see a need. BZ
Destroy 230+ years of Constitutional Republic success, that’s their goal, and they are doing it while thumbs are twiddled.
“Alex Jones is far, far from my cup of tea”
I used to think that too, then I started watching him and now I can’t stop.
Did anyone have to provide crime scene pictures, forensic evidence, autopsy reports, and pictures of the deceased ? We never see or hear any of these things after a mass shooting.
I am sick and tired of Alex Jones being denigrated by way of an aside on the way to making whatever point the poster is trying to make.
Not only does Alex Jones post many people on his website, not just himself, quotes from many different articles, sources, bloggers, journalists, and reporters, but he is, unlike many many of the people that Donald Trump hired, a reliable conservative.
Maybe start circling the wagons you guys and include Alex Jones, instead of trying to push him aside!
I know for a fact that people making denigrating remarks about him have not, in fact, looked at the Infowars website, spent any time on it, spent any time listening to Jones over decades. Theirs is a superficial, go-along-with-the-crowd reflex, and not an admirable one.
OK, so I will be more clear for you.
Alex Jones may say some things I agree with, but so does Bill Mahar. I still think both are inflammatory CLOWNS.
No aside there sport.
Personally, I think Alex Jones should’ve been more circumspect when observing a jury award for his conduct. It is serious, not more basis for radio propaganda, and it gives the left a “see, we told you conservatives are vicious and stupid” moment.
Farces deserve ridicule. This trial is a farce.
On a par with the non-trial trial called The J6 Committee Hearings.
No! It wasn’t respectable and it deserves it’s JUST rewards. THAT jury didn’t do any justice.
But Now, Justice is coming to them.
Perhaps… just perhaps it will be a sweet reward when this is overturned. There is no way in hell this was a fair trial. The Judge is a demon. She is corrupt as hell as well as the Prosecutors. He was not allowed ANY kind of a defense. This is not America.
Just one more reason to confirm my personal disrespect for the US judicial system. Are these rewards bringing back the dead? Silly question, forgive me.
I know you didn’t mean to imply that Alex was responsible for their disaster.
And most certainly putting Alex and his family through this FARCE with the Cherry on top is going to only make their last condition even worse for themselves.
swissik meant that the greedy plaintiffs going after Alex for his money are not going bring their families back from the dead.
If the court tells Alex Jones to pay nearly a billion then they should be telling mainstream media outlets to pay hundreds of billions for their harmful lies under the guise of news and opinions. Law demands equal treatment for similar actions does it not?
There was a substantial video of the event posted on the web some months after the sensationalism quieted. Someone standing on the peripheral just outside of the TV and police cameras filmed the “landscape” lens view of police, tv cameras, recognizable news anchors, were packaging for cable news. Security organized members of the media allowed to be present and record so the video taken some steps back was recording what TV cameras weren’t allowed to. In those days I understood whatever was posted on the web was permanent. It was up for months and then…disappeared. I suspect it was captured onto the dark web because it was so disturbing. Your eyes saw an unimagined reality and at the same time your brain was aware it had seen months of repetitive closeup’s telling a wildly different account.
Whomever posted the landscape lens view narrated the stunning revelations; landscapes include the closeup detail; closeups don’t include the complete view of the landscape. That’s the way it is always. There were red circles drawn around a man in a fireman’s uniform standing with firemen off to the left, out of close range. The men were at ease, quietly waiting, milling. At a que the men shifted into action and rush forward into the school as if they just arrived, jumped off the truck and ran for the door. Within 10 minutes further into the video you see a red circle around the same man, who is now standing on the right closer to authorities speaking to cameras. He is now dressed in civilian clothes. Again, he’s qued into action and steps forward into action as a worried local citizen.
As well, you see mini groups of 5-8 people, each group staged separately, quietly waiting. Remember, this moment in time was occurring immediately at the arrival of police, fire, FBI, “townspeople; yet everyone was very quiet, very calm, passive. None of this landscape was shown on any cable channel then or now on the internet. The Landscape camera captured the interview inside the homes of some parents. Remarkably, calm, composed, soft spoken and…smiling, parents. Puppet like.
Those who have been shocked by news of a child’s death would likely disconnect with these contented disconnected parents.
The video is 30 min, maybe 40-50 min long. Most of the footage was not seen on TV. Yet the scenes are familiar to the eye. This isn’t cut and paste editing. And that’s why it’s disturbing. The narration is sparse so you know what to look for the faces behind or next to the faces, and you notice the same people presented as different people. At one point the landscape lens captures a “Director” to the right with a mic, waving at and calling to a waiting group of (escaped) children to run towards the police, firemen and TV cameras. They do. Their attentive collective calm is as running in off a playground. The quiet narration focuses on what you weren’t shown. The viewer’s eyes sends the conflicting message to the viewers mind to reason the memory of cable (CNN – Anderson Cooper narrated all the “at the scene” coverage)
If you have internet skills to locate the video I hope you do so and pray what to do with it. Jones suffered a Kangaroo court. No Life Insurance company sells the limits awarded. I doubt these Mom’s and Dad’s bought a one million dollar policy to compensate themselves in the event of the death of their child. I’d be happy to see verification of any parents investment. Yet parents are consumed with prevention of accidents, poisons, sickness that causes death, cancers, car safety at 60 mph, strangers and more. But no life policies on the vulnerable. S
I will not pretend to have read all 300 + comments, so perhaps someone has made a similar observation earlier.
The problem goes back decades: nearly 40 years ago a book by lawyer Jethro Lieberman called The Litigious Society sounded the alarm about too many lawsuits being filed. One of the things he blamed was the expansion of tort law in the 1960’s and 1970’s (and the idea that accidents could be reduced and product quality improved) would somehow “help the poor.”
Another problem was universities and law schools weakening enrollment standards in the 1960’s and ’70’s to help young men avoid military service in Vietnam.
A glut of lawyers occurred, and universities and law schools enjoyed the money from these students so much – via expanded student loans from the FedGov – that the glut continued.*
As a result, “ambulance chasing” soon became respectable, as companies were demonized for greed over safety, and juries responded increasingly with ever larger sums against said “greedy companies.”
That some companies were notoriously negligent and greedy (e.g. DuPont) in polluting the areas around their factories did not help!
It used to be that judges would fine and threaten idiotic lawyers for bringing frivolous lawsuits to them with disbarment.
But since most judges either were part of the tort-law racket or will return to it after their term is up, you can see why most will no longer throw out such cases, which is why the courtrooms are jammed.
c. 2500 years ago, the satirical Athenian playwright Aristophanes wrote a joke in one of his plays: an illiterate dummy is shown a map for the first time in his life by a character.
“You see, this is Athens, a picture from above so to speak.”
Dummy: (examining the map carefully) Nah, this can’t be Athens.
Character: And why not?
Dummy: I don’t see any juries or law-courts!
🙂 Yes, the Athenians were also notoriously litigious during the height of their democracy!
* The lazy and not very bright younger brother of my best friend became a lawyer in the 1970’s.
His grandmother, upon hearing the news of his acceptance into law school, said: “Who would ever let Dougie into law school?! He would be a terrible lawyer!”
Let’s just say that Grandma’s prediction came true! 🙂
The Jury made that decision before God in Heaven, our One True Creator.
When they stand before HIM on THAT DAY, wonder how CUTE they will feel when He comes to THAT part of their life.
Good luck with collecting that. Waiting for it to be overturned on appeal.
Yeah, maybe the appeals court will determine Jones only owes 1/2 billion. LOL
Like Sundance says, maybe these people will never see a dime, BUT Alex Jones will be financially tapped off with layer expense. The FBI and any other intel agency can screw you 6 ways to Sunday per Chuck Schumer and he’s right. If you oppose their agenda and dare to speak out theyll ruin you. This isn’t even America anymore.
That’s why we all have to get behind the people or causes we support financially. We don’t have unlimited Chinese money financing the causes we believe in or paying the protesters we support. Whether it’s the Tree House, Alex Jones, or your local congressional candidate we have to support the man in the arena.
Vol_XXVIII_No_6_Sep_2002.pdf (ymaws.com) Virgina Bar, Hon. D. Arthur Kelsey:
“In A Man for All Seasons, there is a scene where More’s wife Alice. his daughter Margaret and his son-in-law William Roper argue with More because he refuses to have a certain man arrested. The scene ends with this exchange:
Margaret: “Father, that man’s bad.
More: There is no law against that.
Roper: There is! God’s law!
More: Then God can arrest him.
Roper: Then you set man’s law above God’s!
More: No, far below; but let me draw your attention to a fact –I’m not God. The currents and eddies of right and wrong, which you find such plain sailing, I can’t navigate. I’m no voyager. But in the thickets the law, oh, there I’m a forester. I doubt if there’s a man alive who could follow me there, thank God…
Alice: While you talk, he’s gone [the man you should arrest]!
More: And so he should, if he was the Devil himself, until he broke the law!
Roper: So now you ’d give the Devil benefit of the law!
More: Yes. What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?
Roper: I’d cut down every law in England to do that!
More: Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turn round on you– where would you hide, Roper, the law all being flat? This country’s planted thick with laws from coast to coast– man’s laws, not God’s–and if you cut them down (and you’re just the man to do it) d’you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake.”…….
Well said, Sir Thomas. I would too.”…….

Y’all are missing the biggest fraud of all. Whose feelings were hurt when Alex Jones posted his theory on his website, “World News Daily” with its tiny audience. I’ve been involved in the right wing blogosphere since 2009 and I had never heard of WND until … the MSM exploded the story everywhere in order to discredit the Right
So, Jones actions werent the cause of these hurt feelings, it was the amplification effect of the media’s outrage and smear campaign. The parents never knew about Jones until this occurred.
This happens all the time. Someone says something to a “journalist” and uses a taboo word and next thing you know his word is everywhere and he is cancelled for the pain he caused some notional sensitive person. But thats not what happens. It was the media’s CHOICE to amplify this statement that is the cause
I personally like AJ, have been listening to him for several years. Don’t hang on his every word, rather listen and do my own research. Piqued my dad’s interest over the last few years as he would send me a story – “Did you see this?!”, many times my response was “Alex is right again.”
His style is bombastic and over the top, I’m ok with that.
Dad recommended his book on the great reset to me (dad has become such a supporter that he ponied up $100 for an autographed copy). I do urge people to read it, very well written and researched. Alex knows his history, interviewed people who know even more, and did the required reading (slogged through three of Yuval Noah Harari’s books) so we don’t have to.
Not going to comment on the “trial” or judgment because I’m too disgusted by all of it and would just be reiterating what others have said.
so no 1st amendment?
what about the moon landing?
“Slander damages past AND FUTURE”?? Say what?
Lawfare 101: Destroy dissidents through ‘law’. What Jones did was wrong but not illegal.
What did the burners of our cities get charged with again? Nothing…
G-d Damn our government above the ground level.
Jones is a national treasure. Infowars lays everything out on the table much like an antique shop and it is the customer’s role to sift thru the clutter and pick out the absolute gems. Listen to infowars with a notepad and do some homework.
I enjoy Sundance, but he is not going to connect the final dots for you. There is a cluster of similar sources such as Gateway Pundit, Bannon’s Warroom, and Zero Hedge (all excellent reading) and Tucker that will walk you right to the edge of learning about the people/institutions that really control your life.
These sources will never take you into the world of the Anglo American establishment with Cecil Rhodes or central banking with the Rothschilds or dig deeply into the world of the Great Reset with Klaus Schwab.
As others have stated, it is scary once you realize a filthy cabal of monsters control the global agenda. However, I plead that you stop thinking the government is inefficient and stupid and realize it is refined to implement a global population reduction and trans humanist agenda.
And please understand the true center of power can be found in the people and institutions beyond criticism.

so, I guess Alex can now be in two places at once?
