Prayers for those of us with “prodigals”. I know there are many other Treepers, like myself, who have adult children whom we desperately love, who have walked away from the faith in which they were raised. As the days grow darker in our world, and as evil is more obvious and prevalent, they weight upon our hearts is heavier and heavier…and as many of those we love have gleefully jumped on the jab bandwagon, every story of “Adverse Events” is another opportunity to be fearful of what is to come!
Pray that God will give us patience and rest as we wait and pray that He will open their eyes to His truth and draw them back to Him, while it is still today…
“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24
(Ad Rem – thank you for putting up this thread! Didn’t realize how much I needed it!)
You’re very welcome mom. I too pray for a “once-jabbed” grandson who’s only seven. 🙁
So true Viking Mom. Praying fervently for my own and will add yours to my prayers – and all the others who have been so deceived.
Lord, pull the scales from their eyes. Use your mighty shepherd’s crook to pull them back into your fold.
Praying for those who have walked away from the Faith to return. Praying for conversion and salvation. Praying for healing and restoration.
Praying that the Precious Blood of Christ will flow through the veins of all those who have taken the shots/boosters, reversing any damage that may have been done, cleansing and restoring their bloodstream, and granting them good health. Asking all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen!!(And thank you!)
Amen.
Amen and so well articulated.
Video just posted today!
Praying The Prodigals Home – Prayer Time
Thank you for praying what I needed, but could not express.
You spoke my heart. This is my prayer for my own children. I pray it for others as well. Thank you for your prayers.
Like other parents replying to your post Vikingmom, I too share your prayer request in my own family. As young adults my children have encountered many dark forces I never wanted anywhere near them (things I never encountered in my youth!!). My heart breaks as each struggles in his or her own way. I will pray for your young ones alongside mine.
Though they may be young adults, to the Lord they are as lambs:
Isaiah 40:11 New International Version (NIV)
“He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.”
Thank you for that beautiful verse…and the much needed reminder that the LORD is still at work, even though we can’t always see it.
You are welcome! And randomly I will add that I love the candle symbol for the Prayer Requests section. Reminds me of a verse so apropos for this time of year, when the days are very short and nights are long (Dec. 22 the days start to lengthen again!) but also just for the spiritually dark times we live in.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:5
I have a prodigal son as well. His name is Jeremiah. I have not seen him in 5-6 yrs. He lives on the streets. Diagnosed schizophrenic & drug addicted. He was prophesied over twice years back to be a traveling evangelist and go into places most men won’t go. I pray for a healing in his heart , mind and soul and of course a relationship with Jesus. God bless you all🙏
I am so sorry, Valerie! I will be praying for Jeremiah and that the LORD will give you an answer as to where he is. And yes, most of all, we pray for our prodigals to return to the One who loves them even more than we do!
Thank you Ad Rem!
prayers for the souls who perished in hurricane Ian and prayers for the survivors as they set out each day to do what needs to be done. Prayers for SD as he helps other survivors…and prayers of gratitude for wonderful people that are being the hands and feet of God.
This thread is always accessible by “clicking” on the candle in the upper right corner of the blog Nana.
I just did the 90-day update…(and a big thank you to “Weeweed” who never fails to remind me!)
That’s what I had been doing but the box to comment did not appear. That’s why I contacted you…I wasn’t sure if the latest update installed had messed this up or it was something on this page. In any case, thank you very much!
😘 ….for reminding me!
I appreciate all you do Ad rem! I don’t know how you do what you do but you do it well and are always kind in what must be a stressful job. Thank you.

Like both of you, Prayers requested for my adult prodigal son. Pray also for his two children, who are in his nearly full time custody.
I will pray for your son.
God bless and many thanks
My sons are Joshua and Joseph. I gave them these names; meaning Jehovah saves, and increasing faithfulness, respectively, over 40 years ago.

Praying that your wife and kids may see and feel the light Joe.
For those that have been following my nephews journey….I hesitate to ask for more prayers but am compelled to do so. Alex has outlived hospice timeline…an aunt sent him a scapular and a few days he put it on and asked my sister that clergy be at bedside as he dies. Then after a few days he took the scapular off. My sister didn’t ask him about this but they have a Catholic hospice person coming on Monday. She’s warned this woman to be gentle or he will just leave the room (if able) by then. He seems to reject any after life but terrified there is no afterlife. TMI I suppose…I’m asking for all who do not believe that we pray for them all…life on earth is not forever…May the Holy Spirit keep working on them as long as they are with us on this side of eternity. We must remember that God knows their soul and I pray God gives them mercy and us as well.
Firstly, thanks be to God, it sounds like Alex is living on God’s timeline!
Continuing prayers for peace, healing, forgiveness, strength, consolation, conversion, and salvation. Jesus, I trust in You.
Continuing prayers, that Alex accepts the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and finds salvation and God’s peace.
Sounds as if he’s close to accepting His mercy and grace Nana.May the spirit of the Lord quell his indecision and bring him to everlasting life, through his son Jesus Christ, from whom all good things come.Amen.
Thank you all. It seems he is getting closer to time running out. They have a Catholic hospice worker coming tomorrow..hopefully she will accept him as he is and gently steer him to belief. His liver is full of cancer and ammonia is building up in his brain..even with medication to help…so he gets confused at times…prayers our merciful God understands. My sister weeps and weeps. She has said she only needs to live two minutes beyond him but I fear she won’t even make that. I have to trust God in this. We all do in each of our own sorrows. Trust in Him. …no matter how hard.
Praying that the Lord will be with you all throughout this time, Nana. God bless.
With you and your family in prayer as well Nana.
Praying with a Bible reading for today from the Universalis website:
Noon reading Wisdom 15:1,3 You, our God, are kind, loyal and slow to anger, and you govern all things with mercy. To acknowledge you is indeed the perfect virtue, to know your power is the root of immortality.
Dear NanaB – sending up prayers for your nephew and your sister. As mere humans, it is sometimes hard to trust especially when things seem so dire. Please know you’re not alone.
🙏❤️
Please pray for my friends, EJ and family.
Their homes in Ft Myers and Cape Coral are wrecked. They are safe from the effects of Ian. But they have also recently known medical problems.
Joining you in prayer for EJ and family, for their good health and restoration.
Amen.
Praying that the Lord would make them whole in every way. God bless, rrick.

Just received an update from our fellow Treeper JFP in the email. She and her husband Gary are both residents of Volusia County, Fla, and had their prayers answered when their electricity (needed for medical equipment) was turned back on after only 2 days.
She sends her love and prayers out for her fellow Treepers who may not have been as lucky as she was. She still greatly enjoys reading everyone’s comments on the Treehouse
Thank you for the update! JFP and her husband, Woodstuff, hoosiergranny, NanaB and Joe have been on my heart and in prayers several times today.
Praise the Lord for seeing JFP safely through the storm!
Please pray for me and my precious daughter and three granddaughters. I found my 47 year old son dead in his home two days ago. He leaves behind a precious 5 year old. We do not know cause of death yet and is being examined by the medical examiner. My world is sadness, confusion and grief.
Oh my. Prayers for you and your family Lindy. Your sons passing and you finding him is very tragic. May the ME find the cause and May God give you peace during this horrible time. Prayers going up.
Lindy, I pray the Lord would comfort you in the way that only He can & help you try to make sense of what happened here, as well as for that poor dear child. The Lord be with you.
I am so sorry for your loss Lindy.Although you and your family are in unimaginable despair,I pray that our loving Father will ease your pain and one day replace your sorrow with fond memories of joy and happiness that your dear son brought to all.Amen.
I’m very sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Praying specially for you, your daughters and granddaughters, and the whole family.
Update on my “Thai daughter’s “ cousin…he came through the surgery. Time will tell now how he heals.
my nephew received last rites this afternoon. My sister said it was a beautiful experience. She and Alex wept and she is unable to talk until tomorrow. Very emotional for us all. I know tragedies happen every single day all over the globe. I’ve known tragedy myself…mom died at home when I was 8 of a brain aneurysm…we all have these sorrows we must learn to live with. It is part of life on earth. That’s why faith in God is so important to many of us.
I pray for all of us on this special limb everyday…sometimes many times during the day. I also give thanks to Sundance and ad rem and others that keep this last refuge operating so well. It really is a refuge and I know I can land here and perch and be safe . I used to think of us as fellow birds on this limb but I have seen over time…you are all angels on this limb! What a blessing!
Good to hear that your daughter’s cousin came through his surgery.Praying for you and your family at such a trying time. You can always feel safe,as we are all friends here…brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.Amen.
Amen!
Thank you all for this safe haven. We are so blessed to have this place. Tonight is pretty tough and knowing you are here gives great solace. Thank you.

Asking prayer for my niece who has mixed connective tissue disease and other issues that are causing extreme dental and jaw pain and deterioration. They are telling her it will cost $35,000 to do all the work): May I also request a prayer for my own dental, upper and lower, severe pain. I am a firm believer in healing and am very grateful for your prayers!
Praying for healing for both your niece and yourself, that the Lord will bless each one of you and provide you with whatever you need to restore you, both for pain relief and the physical repair of any and all dental issues relating to the mouth and jaws, teeth and gums. Jesus, I trust in You!
Praying for your niece that the Lord would touch her & heal her of these dental issues & you as well. God bless.
Update on my nephew Alex. He is getting closer…I haven’t written because he is young and such a fighter. He’s going through horrific symptoms right now…his time is near. My sister’s and my mom died October 22, 1964 when we were just kids. We are thinking maybe Alex will pass on that anniversary…it would give my sister comfort if that happens…she would believe our mom would be there for Alex at his passing. She never has seen ‘signs’ like I have…this would give her such a comfort so I pray he can make it until the 22nd. I have reassured her mom will be there for him no matter the date. He is suffering so. I hate to wish he suffers any longer. He is in Gods hands as we all are.
Today on the Universalis website is featured a reading from St. Augustine … whose mother St. Monica prayed him into Heaven.

Thanks, Nana. We’re taking it one day at a time. God bless you.
Dear Nana, Please be assured that I am continuing in prayer with you for Alex …
Alex was transported to the hospital last night…hallucinations were just too much and it took four men to restrain him waiting for oral meds to kick in. They didn’t so he was transported to the ER. Hospice nurses cared for him there and got him comfortable and sleeping. He will be transported to a hospice house tonight where they have family suites so my sister will be able to stay with him. This place doesn’t accept his insurance but they do consider patients on a case by case. My sister used to work with the director and when he saw Alexs situation he was able to use grant money for Alex’s care. Such a blessing! God is watching and helping. Thank you all for all the prayers you’ve offered up.
Prayed for Alex at Mass tonight for All Soul’s Day, offered up Communion especially for him.
Thank you so very much. I am very touched at your kindnesses for Alex.
Alex and your family remain in my prayers several times a day. May the peace of God, and His abiding love, assure and comfort you.
I really have no words to express my gratitude for you and others prayers for my nephew and my sister. I wish I was more eloquent. Trust me, your prayers give my sister and myself much solace and I hope help Alex along this last leg of his journey. His mind has gone….his body keeps on but I don’t know how…where his soul is right now, idk. Only God knows this. But I am forever grateful for all of your prayers for so long. I know your prayers were heard when he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior…he has his scapular on now…sedated and comfortable. Please Lord.
My dear treepers…I cannot believe the struggle….Alex is fighting beyond what anyone at hospice has seen. His will to live is incredible. He won’t win this fight unless God deems otherwise. His mother suffers as does his family but I have to admit…I’m in awe. God will win in the end but man Alex is fighting hard. In all honesty, it’s an ugly fight. My sister asks for prayers that God takes him tonight. I have prayed for a miracle…Hail Mary so to speak…and crazy as it sounds I still do! I still believe if it’s Gods will He will cure Alex…it just doesn’t look like it. I will accept Gods will…if not a miracle, take him now Lord. Please. Thank you all for your prayers.
Dear NanaB,
Years ago, I had a dear friend who was bed-bound, had serious chronic health problems for years, and was in pain every day. One day I prayed (and not the most reverently I’m afraid) along the lines of “Dear God, You’re letting my best friend suffer.”
Immediately an answer to the prayer popped into my mind, “Put Me first.” Of course putting God first is what is right.
And it dawned on me that God loved my best friend even more than I did, and that He knew what was best for her. So now I’m praying for whatever is best for Alex.
And may God bless you and your sister as well.
You have hit a cord. I too have wondered why God allows such suffering. I do not know. This long suffering for Alex..beyond me how this works to His will. He is medicated every hour yet still he has managed to climb out of bed.pull his foley out…required firemen angels to come help get him back in bed…bleeding top and bottom…yet strives so to live. Last coherent words to my sister were, momma kiss me. That was yesterday.. I had no idea dying was so very very hard. May God do what is best for Alex. Please Lord.
Dear heavenly Father, Jesus has promised that all who come to Him weary will be given rest. We praise You that Alex has returned to You, and Your will has been done in his regaining faith. You see the beginning from the end. All things are under Your control, and Yours alone. In Your compassion and love, continue to hold Alex and his family close to You. In Jesus’ holy name we pray, Amen.
May God bless you for your words of comfort. Thank you…seems feeble but very heartfelt.
I so very much thank you for your words of faith and strength. I am bereft of a miracle that has not yet come to pass…but I do pray and am grateful for prayers here for Alex’s salvation and of peace if not but for a miraculous cure.
idk why…I keep waiting for a miracle. I’ve seen miracles for lesser problems. So I know they are possible. Maybe I’m going a bit batty.I am sorry to be posting this. It’s all been so very long and hard. I’m not naive but I am still holding out for a miracle…and maybe that makes me bat crazy. Or maybe very faith filled. Idk. Blessings to all here.
Don’t be sorry for your post Nana. We are here with you… holding your hand in prayer.
Thank you all. Alex hangs on. We are in awe..his fighting spirit. Still praying for a Hail Mary. Until it is over..I pray for life and good health to be renewed to Alex. But I also pray the suffering stop. He is comfortable according to my sister. So I thank God for that!
To God be all glory. We love you, Nana.
Jesus tells us that there is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents; He never said the same about the vast numbers of people He physically healed. Alex demonstrates to us “only say the word and my soul shall be healed,” the miracle – the cure from sin- that Christ most wanted for all people!
Nana, you are loved. Prayers continue for God to bless and comfort Alex and your family. May His peace remain with you.
Please pray for me, I have stage iv cancer. I need a healing. Jesus is so good, thank you.
Prayers going up for you Melinda. May God grant you a calm resolve to face and beat this cancer head on. Blessings to you.
Praying for your good health and healing, Melinda W! Jesus, I trust in You!
The Lord bless you, Melinda. I pray for a touch from the Healer to make you whole. In Jesus’ name I ask it. Amen.
Praying that the Lord may help you in your battle with cancer Melinda W.We ask this through Christ Jesus, with whom all things are possible.Amen.
Alex passed this morning. No more suffering, fear or tears as he rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior.
I thank all of you for the many prayers offered up for Alex and my sister as well as holding me up on some pretty dark nights.
Blessings to all here on this Holy limb.
Eternal rest grant unto Alex, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
May the angels lead Alex into paradise and Christ who called him, take him home.Give Alex eternal rest o Lord, and may His light unending shine upon him.
Blessings to you and your sister NanaB.May you now know peace as you grieve the loss of your nephew/son.The Lord be with you…Amen.
Thank you all. I feel privileged to be so accepted here and grateful for all of your prayers and support for Alex, my sister and myself. I thank SD and ad rem for providing this peaceful refuge of quiet prayer and love for one another.
Now for my sister and her husband, Alex’s brother…all family we must learn to live without Alex and learn to carry that sorrow but seek joy and keep faith in God…support one another until we all are in our heavenly home.
I will continue to to pray for all here everyday as well as give thanks for all here. Blessings.
God bless you, Nana, & may the Lord lift up you & your family.
Thank you Joe Blow And all. I keep you and your mom in my seemingly perpetual prayers..life without our loved ones is devastatingly challenging….yet …tonight as it is dark and snowy here…I feel Gods hand on my shoulder reassuring me it is all well. I hope you and your mom can feel Gods reassurance and peace as well. Blessings to all here on this limb.
Thank you so much, Nana. We do feel it daily. You also led me to post this by what you said above:
A beautiful hymn, with a very fitting history. Bless you and your mom, Joe!
God bless you, Flora.
This moved me so much. Thank you Joe Blow.
You’re so welcome. The Lord bless you, Nana.
May God keep you in His grace, Nana, and bless and comfort you and your family.
Thank you. Blessings to you as well.
May peace be with you Nana and your entire family. I am relieved to hear that Alex has found his eternal resting place in the arms of our Savior. Bless you…
Thank you Ad rem. We are relieved as well and somewhat numb but feeling Gods presence as well. Bless you too Ad rem and thank you for providing this limb to us. I hope you know how much we all appreciate it.
You make my job a joy!
Amen.

Please remember that many people and businesses in Florida have unclaimed funds at FLtreasurehunt.gov. For example a Sarasota dealership had over 20 checks waiting and I alerted my PC physician about 7.
As we all prepare for thanksgiving day, let us give thanks for all we have had, give thanks for all we have lost, give thanks for future reunions in this world and in the next…give us courage and the strength of our Lord and savior to face our days with our Gods’grace, humility and forgiveness, fortitude and above all…love to one another. God bless us one and all. Thank you Ad rem and Sundance and Menagerie and all that have given us the branches of the last refuge Treehouse.
The Lord bless you, Nana. This year will be hard for both of us, but as the Scripture says we do not grieve as those who are without hope. God bless this wonderful Tree.
God bless you Joe and your mother as well. There is, in my mind.. a string of continuity between us and our savior and heaven. We live here and want to be here but yet long to be with our savior and loved ones that resides with Him…the string connects us all…the string is our love for one another and our faith. Tonight I’m thinking of the peace that transcends all understanding…and I rest in that…for now. I give thanks for now. I had a very young friend that died in his 20’s who you used to say, “it’s all good..”. Maybe he was right. It is all good. Here or Heaven…lots of good here…heaven will be heavenly good! The string of love binds us all. May God bless you Joe Blow and also your mother.
may God bless Sundance, Ad rem, menagerie and all that provide us with this branch to pray for one another and lift each other up in prayer. I hope they can comprehend just how much this branch help each other keep our faith growing and glowing. I am giving thanks to this treehouse!
Amen.
I received a video of my “ Thai daughter’s “ cousin who sustained a spinal cord injury diving into a pool. He is sitting up and bed and following instructions for arm movements…punching air with each arm. He likely is paralyzed from waist down but to still have use of his arms is a miracle!! Thanks be to God. My Thai daughter is a friend I met when my son and her husband were deploying to Iraq during the surge. She adopted me that sad day. She wanted to call me mom (as in her culture her moms friends are considered moms). She has her own mom in Thailand, her mother in law here in America so I asked she calls me mom #3. She is one of the most selfless, kindest people I’ve ever known. I pray her cousin continues to a good recovery.
Praying that your daughter’s cousin can recover from his injuries and the Lord provides him with the strength needed to cope with any debilitations resulting from his accident. In Jesus’ Holy name we ask this…Amen.
Thanks be to God that your daughter’s cousin has regained the use of his arms! 🙂
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Praying for continued healing so that he also regains the use of his legs and walk again, fully healed and restored.
If you would, any of you beautiful treepers, pray for my Dad in Fla. he had open heart surgery and it was a great success. But he did get the vax and now it seems after some time and his heart functioning at 40% that there is a clot! I am just praying for Jesus to heal his heart. He also had a ruptured appendix and became septic before the heart surgery, cause the 1st hospital sent him home…said it was gas! The surgery was a success then also. He is a tough cookie, believes in Jesus and just keeps on fighting. I will be going down soon, my 5th time in 2 years, each time I think he is going to go home, but thank God I’m wrong a lot! ; )

Prayers going up for your dad that God will provide healing for his heart. He sure sounds like he is a strong fighter! Praying for safe travels for you as well.
Thank you NanaB! God Bless you!!!
Joining you in prayer for good health and healing for your Dad in Florida. May the Precious Blood of Christ flow through his veins to cleanse them, reverse any damage caused by the vax, and restore him.
Thank you the phoenix, I am so thankful that I have you and NanaB praying for my Dad! There are so many other things and people, children that need our help and prayers, I almost feel frivolous asking when such horrors are taking place in the world. God help us serve our Lord till the end!
Praying for your father’s recuperation Heather. In no way, shape or form should you feel like asking for prayers for your father to be considered “frivolous”.They are not!
While there are other people who are also in need of help,we pray for them also. They are no more/or less important than you and your father. As we are all brothers and sisters in Christ here,we ask Him to heal your father and restore him to good health.
Through His son Jesus Christ, from whom all good things come.Amen.Blessings for you also dear sister.
Amen!
Praying for our Lord to provide your dad with a touch of His healing, to purge him of that poison & have his heart function at full capacity. The Lord bless you, Heather.
Please pray for my nephew who is having suicidal thoughts. He expressed those thoughts today while his parents were out of town. They all need our Lord Jesus Christ desperately in this hour of darkness and depression.
Joining you in prayer to ask for mental, emotional, and spiritual healing for your nephew:
O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose,
Your Will through all things.
Amen.
Prayer written by St. Ignatius of Loyola
I pray that the peace of our Lord Jesus would come upon your nephew & give him clear-mindedness, & that He would draw the family to Himself to provide help & healing. God bless, Wivoter.
May the Almighty bring light and joy to your nephew and your family Wivoter.
Lord,hear our prayer.Amen.
Prayers for all the healthy and active young people who for no fault of their own took the vaccine and now have health problems that have forever changed the trajectory of their life.
Praying that the Precious Blood of Christ will flow through the veins of all those who have taken the shots/boosters, reversing any damage that may have been done, cleansing and restoring their bloodstream, and granting them good health. Asking all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen!
Please pray for my daughter, who was liberalized by college, lives in Germany, and has not spoken to me in 4 or 5 years. I hope she survives the mayhem in Germany. Please pray for my son, who got 1 dose of the jab and whose Afghanistan burn pit lung cancer has returned at stage 3, just as he’s about to get custody of his son. Radiation doesn’t start for another two weeks and I hope he survives long enough and it helps him. He’s already coughing up blood. He’s 30. Please pray for all veterans of any age who suicide; we can’t imagine the demons that ride them (husband, 18 years ago). I have lurked here for a time and this is my favorite website of all; you are a self-chosen family and it shows. Thank you for the branches I have invisibly perched on.
Praying that your daughter will come back to the Faith. She reminds me of a dear friend of mine who did return, so yes, there is hope!
Praying for your son, that the Precious Blood of Christ will flow through his veins, reversing any damage that may have been done, cleansing and restoring his bloodstream, curing him of cancer, and returning him to good health.
Praying for all veterans, that they find peace and healing.
Jesus, I trust in You!
Amen. I will pray for both your daughter and son, grandson and also for you. That you feel Gods presence and His love for you and give you comfort.
Praying for you and your family FTS.May you find solace in knowing that we will pray with you for the return of your children to your loving side in good health,in body ,mind and spirit.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, with whom all things are possible.Amen.
Praying that the Holy Spirit would convict your daughter of her errancy that you might be able to reconnect with her & that He would keep her safe. Praying for your dear son for the Lord’s healing touch to fall upon him. Also praying for you that He would lead you & guide you in all that you do. God bless.
I talked to my son tonight; his symptoms are slowly worsening but he is still working 12+ hour days. Radiation starts next Tuesday. He gets custody of his son (age 7) on Saturday and I am grateful for his fiancee who is withstanding all this. He seemed in better spirits and is making plans in case the worst happens. I am terribly grateful for all your support for him. Bless all of you.
Continuing prayers for your son and your whole family, that the Lord will bless you and provide for all your needs.
I spoke with my son this AM; he says it is getting worse fairly quickly and radiation doesn’t start for another week. But he has his son now, which gives him motivation. I live 1700 miles from him and don’t see him very often though we talk frequently. Thank you all for all your prayers; I believe they help.
My soon to be granddaughter-in-law (wedding to be Dec 30) was a passenger in a bad vehicle accident in MO over the weekend that tragically took the lives of 3 among the 6 occupants. The 3 rear seat passengers, of which she was one, survived with minor injuries.
Please pray for the repose of the souls of the three who lost their lives and for their families and friends during their time of unbearable grief. Also pray for the 3 survivors as they grapple with the aftermath of this tragic incident as they work through the funerals of their friends and as they likely struggle with survivor’s guilt. May their Faith carry them through this trying time.
They were traveling home from Lambert’s Restaurant in Sikeston, MO after attending a bible study. The driver of the vehicle swerved to avoid an animal, lost control of the vehicle, struck a tree and burst into flames.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, amen.
Praying for those who survived as well, that the Lord bless them and console them.
Amen.
This is such a tragedy. Praying for all involved that the Lord’s peace would be upon them.
Two of the victims funerals were today. A tough day for the families and friends of the deceased.
All three funerals are now over and the healing process for the families of all involved, especially the survivors can begin in earnest. Thank you to those of you who have offered prayers. Please continue to keep the souls and their families and friends in your prayers as the mourning continues. God bless and Merry Christmas to all the treepers here.
My wife is going under the knife this Friday for two valve replacements and to correct an aortic replace or repair a possible aneyeuery embolism. I could ask for healing prayers. The last time, 17 years ago, she was pregnant with our youngest and both survived, in God’s grace. Cleavland, Johns Hopkins and even Mayo would have even talked to us before we would have had an abortion.
We refused.
Kim is an creative inspiration to her friends and family and is truly a gift. I remain absoulutely devoted to my wife and I am terrified of losing her.
A prayer would be most greatful. We were wiped out by the storm and had moved to Atlanta to start over again. I cannot express how traumatic that was. One minute you have a house, a career and the good life planned for it (which you have dedicated to it) and it’s all gone. Everything.
Please, Lord..don’t take this from me and the children. I dont think I can survive it, Building alone. All over again. Thats a mountain I cant climb again. But if that is Your Will, I will accept it and move on. 25 years i have followed your path on faith that you would send me the good woman you blessed me with. Honestly, I don’t know the true value of the person you sent.
Please don’t take that away from me. The accumulate of my sins shows that I am not worthy of mercy. I pray that you can find finely worthy and be gracious..
Prayers up for all of you, JCP. Please keep us posted.
Praying for good health and healing for your wife, and also praying for you JCP, and your whole family. Jesus, I trust in You!
Oh JCP, this touched my heart so very much. I pray that the Lord would guide the hands of the surgeons performing these procedures & bring your dear wife through this, that you may both continue to live in the comfort & grace of His love. Let His healing touch be upon her & may His righteous right hand continue to uphold you. In Jesus’ name I pray. God bless you.
Praying for Kim’s successful surgery.Almighty Father,we ask that You hear our prayers for our beloved friend JCP and his family. Please don’t take his Sunshine away.
Lord have mercy.Christ have mercy.Lord have mercy.Amen.
Prayers going up for your wife and for you. This must be a stressful time for both of you. I will add prayers for her physicians and surgeon. I will pray for you and your wife to feel Gods peace on this leg of your journeys together. Blessings.
You, Kim, and the kids are all in my prayers tonight. May our Heavenly Father be present with you and her doctors tomorrow morning.
Amen.
Grace to you and prayers during the surgery. A good woman is a gift sent by God..
Ask for prayers for my Pastor and friend Tom and Wife Teriseta. We are blessed he’s alive and has gotten past the threat on his life. Praise God he was in good spirits this afternoon.
He was in a freak accident where his Jeep popped into reverse with his leg out the door. He tried to stab the brake and landed on the accelerator instead. The spinning wheel pulled off his foot, pulled him out of the Jeep and slammed him to the ground. They have had to amputate his leg mid thigh because his leg was “degloved” of skin, where the skin was detached from his leg. The skin was dieing from no blood flow. His pelvis is broken in 2 places and left Si joint separated. They are all devastating injuries and the Doctors are saying he won’t walk again.
He shouldn’t be alive for a list of reasons but just one is he had just started Eliquis blood thinner and didn’t get a brain bleed from the trauma.. Yahweh has a plan to be completed!
The pain, real and phantom, is not yet been controlled. Ive been praying for the Holy Spirit to wash his nerves of the pain and provide healing for the pelvis injuries. Those are what would keep him from walking with a Prosthetic leg.
Blessings to you all!
Praying for Pastor Tom and his family after such a horrific accident.May the Almighty heal his wounds and relieve him of his pain so as to allow him to continue to do the Lord’s work.
We ask this of our Father, through Christ Jesus, who lives in unity with the Holy Spirit, one God,forever and ever.Amen.
Asking for a miraculous healing for Pastor Tom, to show the glory of God. Jesus, I trust in You!
Prayers going up for Pastor Tom, his wife and family and for all the doctors and nurses caring for him. May God relieve his pain as he heals and give him strength.
Oh my, this was just so awful to read. May the Lord bless this dear man & touch him with the power of His healing, also giving strength & comfort to his wife & family. God bless, Robb.
Please pray for the complete healing of my cousin’s daughter. She’s in a children’s hospital and is currently intubated for septic shock which started out as a simple ear infection. (Not at all sure of vax status as the family lives in a different state and I’m rarely in contact with this cousin.)
If my grandma were alive, she’d pray this child back to good health pretty quick. Looking back, grandma apparently had an anointing when it came to healing prayer … at the time I just knew grandma had tons of faith so many times her prayers were answered and people were healed. So please pray like you’re my grandma. She always believed and prayed the best for everybody.
Particularly welcome are prayers in Jesus’ name as well as specifically Catholic prayers including the Hail Mary.
Would also like to ask for healing prayers for my brother-in-law’s grandmother who is in her nineties, and for another relative of my brother-in-law, whose relative is sick with whatever flu or similar illness that is going around. Thank you to all Prayer Warriors in advance!
I pray that the Lord would touch your cousin’s daughter with His healing power, rebuking this septic shock & returning her to complete health. Also praying that the Lord would put a touch of His healing upon your BIL’s grandma & this other relative as well. In Jesus’ name I ask it. God bless, Phoenix.
Thank you very much for the kindness of your prayers!
You’ve got my prayers for your family members… I am a Nana so pray like one! Just heard a dear friends daughter had septic shock as well…this woman is in her 50’s…a roommate found her and called an ambulance. Doctor said if she hadn’t been found, she would’ve died within a short amount of time. She is recovering well.
please pray for a friend that had terrible headache and vertigo…in ER found a spot on her brain. MRI will come hopefully soon. She is terrified it is bad.
Thank you very much for your prayers and support! Praying also for your intentions … in thanksgiving for your good friend’s daughter recovering from sepsis (glad to hear she’s getting better) and your other friend who went to the ER, praying for her, for relief from pain and vertigo, and for the reversal of anything going on in her brain that should be there so that she is restored to complete health. Jesus, I trust in You!
Praying for your friend, Nana.
Praying for you and your family Phoenix.May the mercy of our Father in heaven anoint and fill them with the strength of the Holy Spirit.May the Lord who frees us from sin save them and raise them up.We ask this in Jesus’ name.Amen.
Thank you very much for the kindness of your prayers!
Please pray for healing for my mother who is in the hospital right now with serious health issues. Praying that the Lord provide everything that your mother needs for her complete healing, and that He will richly bless her along with your whole family this Christmas season. Jesus, I trust in You!

Stillwater, we will be praying for your mother and the doctors and nurses providing her care. May they discover what the issue is and have good treatments for her. May God give you comfort to you as well. Many blessings and thank you for your daily prayers for so many every single day.
I pray that the Lord Jesus would touch your dear mom with His healing power. Please, Lord, enlighten the doctors with wisdom to know what is wrong & how to go about treating it. Please also provide comfort & strength to her & the family. I ask it all in Jesus’ name. God bless, Stillwater.
Dear Heavenly Father, we ask You to extend Your mercy, grace and healing to Your child. Please comfort her, strengthen her, allow her to feel Your presence and Your power, and reassure her and her family with Your never-ending love. We thank You for Your promise that You hear us when we pray, in Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
Thank you for all of the prayers !
My mother is back home from the hospital and has some of her immediate issues calmed down for the time being. There are still more tests to be done and followup appointments to try to narrow things down on what is causing her health issues. Thanks again for the prayers ~
Thanks be to God.
Wonderful news! Thanks for the update. Prayers will continue for answers Stillwater.
Thank you NanaB ~ 🙂
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. 🙂
Amen.
Praise the Lord! Continued prayers for her, Stillwater. God bless you.
Thank you Joe Blow ~ 🙂
My will probably take some time for my mom to schedule appointments and go in to see different specialist doctors to narrow down what the cause of her problems might be, but she has some good medical professionals looking at her situation.
My grandfather passed away yesterday at 95 from cancer. The rest of my family forced my grandparents to live isolated for 2 years to “save” them from covid. Every time I talked to my grandparents they would mention how they’re not allowed to see anyone or go anywhere. Forcing people like this to live out their last years alone is not talked about enough. Pray for every person who was abused by all things covid and of course, my grandfather, the legend. I love you
I’m so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. I am sorry your family isolated your grandparents. May your grandfather Rest In Peace in the loving arms of our savior. Blessings to you.
God bless his soul.Prayers for your grandmother as well.May the light of our Lord shine upon all mistreated by the covid policy.
Lord,hear our prayer.Amen.
Amen
Praying for the peace of our loving God to be upon you & your family. God bless.
Update: (Well, as much as I know anyways.)
Thanks to all Prayer Warriors for your continuing prayers for my cousin’s daughter who went into a children’s hospital with an infection. It turns out that when she went in, she had a fever of 106 and was fainting. They had her on all kinds of medication while she was intubated … the hopeful news is that at last report, they were weaning her off the medication and were going to take her off the tube in the hopes that she would be able to breathe on her own. Am not sure how that went, but the fact that she recovered this much is something to be grateful for. Any prayers for her continue to be welcome and greatly appreciated! Am asking the Lord for a Christmas miracle that she’ll be able to come home for Christmas.
As for my BIL’s grandma, she’s 97 and they’re trying to see if they can get her heartbeat regulated. She also can still use any prayers. Despite her age, she’s been in good health to this point from what I’ve heard.
As for the third person I was asking prayer for, I beg your pardon because apparently I misheard something in my previous phone conversation to my family and there is no other person that my sister knows of who has a flu-like illness … That said, no prayer is ever wasted. I’m sure the Lord heard all of our sincere prayers and they are helping to make someone well. (My humble apologies!) And all this said, does anyone know an Annette? Because that’s who I’ve been praying for as the third person.
I’ve been praying for them…
Good news, Phoenix! Continued prayers for the dear little one & your BIL’s grandma. Blessings!
My daughter told me on her B Day about the discomfort and illness connected with her booster I sat in awe of the Father for keeping her alive . I stand with All the Prayers here for protection from the evil being visited unknowingly on our families.
Praying for your daughter, that the Precious Blood of Christ will flow through her veins, reversing any damage that may have been done by the booster and other injections, cleansing and restoring her bloodstream, and keeping her in good health. Praying for all others similarly affected, that they all be healed and restored.
Christmas Eve Praise Report !!!!!!!
A big Thank You to Jesus for an early Christmas present and to everyone here who’s been praying for my niece who was rushed to a children’s hospital in the Buffalo, NY area earlier this month with an ear infection that escalated into a fever of 106 and fainting. In the hospital she had been intubated … The updated good news is that they successfully removed the tubes and while she is still weak, my niece’s condition is improving! She can eat and drink normally and is able to take oral medications.
My prayer had been asking for the miracle that my niece be able to come home for Christmas … Well, what seems to be standing in the way of that now is that Buffalo, New York is currently experiencing a blizzard and all the roads are closed, and it may take awhile to dig out after the wind and snow stop.
In any case, praise God for His mercy!
As for my brother-in-law’s grandmother who is 97 and is having heart issues, she is not doing as well, and any prayers on her behalf continue to be most welcome.
Wishing all here a joyous, blessed, and merry Christmas.
May God richly bless all Prayer Warrior Treepers here this Christmas!
Praise God for that! Will continue to pray that your BIL’s grandmother improves. God bless.

Sending your and yours the most fervent prayers for Our Father’s healing and safe keeping of your sister. Please share the results of her scan when you feel comfortable doing so.
Agreeing with you in prayer for a good result from the scan. God bless, MTeresa.
Please pray for my wife as she begins her 33 month sentence in the Fed. Railroaded and bankrupted by the IRS starting in 2010. She fought the good fight but in the end they had their pound of flesh. She has been in the medical facility for over 2 weeks now and still has not received her medications prescribed by her doctor. I met her in 2018 and have fought at her side.
Praying that the Lord would deliver your dear wife from this & provide for her every need. God bless, John.
Praying for justice and mercy!
