However, re Abe, he seemed to be quite self-concious about his jacket and shirt sleeves as he must have tugged at pulling them down to his wrists at least 5 times by my count. Kind of bothered me his body language. Anyone else notice? Any observations?

AZ Law Enforcement has some of the best training in the country.
Border Patrol,Customs and ICE make a LOT more money than AZ Law Enforcement. In some cases, with overtime it is more than double what they make as AZ Law Enforcement.
They do a lot of recruitment of our Law Enforcement Officers.
With their Academy Training and the
added bonus that the majority of the officers…they speak Spanish. Laughing…actually its more like….real Mexican. They put some serious effort into having them work for them.
It’s hard to keep officers. Really hard.

Also, I have been commenting here about how the cartels are smuggling these people across the border–for a price.
They are indentured servants –I like her term–she confirmed what I have been trying to tell everyone for some time. The Cartels “own” probably most of those coming across.
And the cartels usually have collateral in Mexico to make sure they send money to pay for their passage into US once they are here….their families still in Mexico or a family member they keep as collateral if not from Mexico.

And the fentanyl epidemic is very real. Just within the last couple of weeks they caught 48 pounds at the Border near me trying to make it across the border!
Weed is basically legal here now, and in a lot of other states…smuggling it is big bulky bales and probably not that much of a profit.
Fentanyl,Cocaine and black tar heroin can be smuggled so much easier for the cartels. Human smuggling and Fentanyl is keeping the cartels in business.

Well, there is an example of a country that fixed its illegal alien “immigrant” problem overnight.
Australia deports them back from whence they came. The navy has motorised life boat sized vessels with fuel and water and a heading to return to Indonesia. Your $10,000 paid to people smugglers is gone. Stopped the influx quick. Arrive by air without correct visa, the airline bears the cost of immediate repatriation. Being surrounded by water helps a lot.

We have SEEN what a MAGA POTUS can do, with PDJT’s first term.
However, we have NEVER seen what a MAGA GOVERNOR can do, especially with a supportive, MAGA majority leguslature.
ALL of the most draconian Covid measures: Lockdowns of churches, restaurants, etc. school closures, mask mandates, etc. were NOT Federal mandates, because the Fed govt doesn’t have that kind of authority.
They were imposed by GOVERNORS, using their powers. Biden Wanted to do more, overstepped and got knocked back by the Courts.
