As the announcement of Queen Elizabeth’s passing starts to settle-in across the United Kingdom and all British commonwealths, GBNews broadcaster Nigel Farage interviews President Donald Trump about his recollections of the Queen. WATCH (4 minutes):
.
Liz II saw the country steadily decline under her reign and did nothing about it…She failed.
What was she supposed to do – usurp the power of the Prime Minister?
How about showing some respect for the dead. After all not everyone can be as successful as you are.
Not a huge fan of the queen, or the monarchy, but that detail aside, dying does not mask any sins while alive, nor does it grant amnesty against criticism. The concept of “canonization”, and all its lesser manifestations requires dying AND being worthy of admiration. Respect for the living and respect for the dead have the same parameters – being worthy of respect.
She did not have the power
No she didn’t. They took the monarchy and turned it into a tourist attraction!
If you want to get angry, get angry at Charlie boy. WEF acolyte and speaker! Watch the CBDC rush through now. Why would they print currency with his face on it?
I hope Putin takes the only opportunity he will ever have to take out all corrupt world leaders at one event.
Google only links to propaganda sites .
Ha!
Elizabeth was a CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCH, she was a figurehead and had NO POWERS except ceremonial, to put it in perspective the Vice President of the United States has more power than her and that office was regarded by a former Vice President as being worth less than a bucket of warm spit!
The decline of the British Nation and it’s people is a choice of the British People, and as a choice it can be reversed.
She had a voice, and means of publishing her thoughts to a very wide audience. She didn’t oppose the descent of the country to what it has become. She went along with it.
I gotta disagree with ya there.
I think the UK are kind of…a bit backward really in maintaining a monarchy. I can accept the concept of it, and it worked for centuries since it was all anyone really knew. But they made it kind of a pseudo monarchy a long time ago. Forget the people who say “oh, the monarch has no real power”. They actually do. A lot of power if they wanted to exercise it.
But here’s the problem. IF they exercise that power, and it goes against what the people believe they want, the monarchy will be dismissed. If they don’t exercise any power, overtly, they can still stay in a position to maybe fudge things one way or the other.
Which is exactly how Elizabeth II did things. She could have done a little more, I’m sure. But at the end of the day, the British got precisely what they voted for. You can blame the queen for not stepping in to save the people from themselves and the lying snakes they sent to Parliament, but whose really at fault there? Not the Queen. And if she had stepped in to intervene for the “common good”, the voters would have got upset. The Labor party would have made sure of that.
Think of it this way. As a parent, you have full power to override stupid decisions your kids make before they are 18. But if you intervene too much, they’ll just leave you out of the loop once they are adults. You use persuasion and a good dose of loving, but sound advice to try to get them to be a bit more reasonable. And then you will always be involved.
The Monarch in the UK is the same with the people. Play it carefully, and they can still be in a position to nudge things a certain way when absolutely necessary. Otherwise, try not to make it a Monarch vs People thing.
Wrong.
She had a lot of power. She chose not to exercise much of that power because she was smart and understood doing so would have been the end of the Monarchy. Which meant, there would be nobody in a position to act against something completely stupid.
She reserved her powers for those few times.
Her son, who is an idiot activist, is going to prove just how right she was.
I suspect the UK will be a Republic by the end of his reign, if not sooner.
Muslims don’t do Republics and at the rate their poring in there won’t be any Brits left to care one way or the other in fact it’s hard to see there are any Brits left to care what happens to their country now.
Oh stop.
The Royals had become merely a “figurehead” entity… (albeit an expensive one), many decades ago. They had no “agency” to run the British Empire. They were kept in the loop(s) frequently as the various Prime Ministers and Parliament engaged in world situations and events, and inserted their opinions on how they would “like” things to go, but they really had no power, and it was up to the Prime Minister and Parliament to run the show.
The fact that you use Google to search for anything says a great deal about you too.
What happened to the previous comments about this positive interview?
Where is Biden administration response and condolences?
They are still attempting to program the teleprompter.
FWIW (“You can take my word as a Biden”): https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/09/08/statement-of-president-joe-biden-and-first-lady-jill-biden-on-the-death-of-queen-elizabeth-ii/
He’s a low class mic he hates the Brits
No, Biden is actually related to the royal family, didn’t you know that?
Everybody is.
The first comments from Biden were “He was delighted he got to meet her”. I also read somewhere, someone wrote a big long tribute Joe will read sometime. Really looking forward to that. (sark)
Sleepy Joe: I didn’t know Jill died!
They do appear to have enjoyed each others company.
I will always fondly remember PDJT’s visit with her.
It was as if we were all there ourselves.
God bless the Queen
We will not see her way again
Her loyalty was to God, her country, and her family…if she occasionally mixed up the order of those, I cannot say that I have not done the same, so I will wish her eternal rest and pray that the reign of her ne’er do well son is short and that he doesn’t cause too much damage, although I am not holding my breath!
“Throughout my life, the message and teachings of Christ have been my guide and in them I find hope. It is my heartfelt prayer that you will continue to be sustained by your faith in times of trial and encouraged by hope at times of despair” — Queen Elizabeth II
We shall not see another such as her in this world again, I fear! Fairs winds and following seas, Your Majesty!
Perhaps we may be pleasantly surprised by King Charles. Lots of people were convinced the world would end after Donald Trump was elected too, but they were wrong. I hope for the best.
It has not ended, but pretty much has gone to hell in a hand basket.
You are far more optimistic than I!
Charles has a long history of left wing nuttery. I think the world just took another turn for the worst.
What a nice interview!
Gracious and diplomatic to the end.
May she rest in peace.
Well said.
God help the world!
2011
Hopefully, he won’t hang on as long as his mother! (Sorry to be so ghoulish). May God save the UK, Europe and the United States of America from all of the idiots like Charles, Obama and his behind-the-scenes maniacs, and the puppet Biden who are destroying the greatest culture ever created.
Respectful tribute to Queen Elizabeth, plus some history for you from Tucker’s show this evening:
No longer accessible…apparently Tucker said a no-no about the Queen or something.
Try it here: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tucker-carlson-queen-elizabeth-attacked-some-she-lived-better-time
I just watched it — it was a great short history lesson and a very benign, but reasonable and respectful monologue about the Queen, her history and the current Great Britain. May God help Britain.
He got yeeted because he said the British Empire was the most benign empire in history and actually helped many of the colonies.
OMG! He’s a WHITE SUPREMACIST!!!!!! REEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Nice interview. Even though everyone knew the day was coming it is a shock. I am glad she could her family of dysfunction w/her in the end. Not everyone is that fortunate. I imagine many in Britain will have a sleepless night.
PBS will makes tons of laundered money off her death, they thrive on doing shows about the Royals.

Deleted – wrong thread
Once currency that bears QE2’s likeness is replaced with King Charles’ face, will the former currency be removed from circulation?
time to put an end to this royalty BS
just look at the replacement FFS
She was a steady hand through many troubled times for 70 years! Truly an incredible reign. God bless her and our President Donald J. Trump, who was gracious and kind and truly moving in his interview with Nigel Farage.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and the good people of the UK. Time to save ourselves, everyone.
A lot of folk here are saying she had no political powers. That’s simply not accurate.
Here are two that do more than outline that statement. Both filled with hotlinks.

Read both and you’ll get what I mean.
As a Constitutional Monarch –though her UK substitutes Common Law and custom for enumerated statutes– Elizabeth II served well-and-truly as Chief of State through difficult and dangerous times.
On balance, this bright soul accomplished over-and-beyond what a less cheerful, modest, respectful doyenne might have sought. Throughout her reign, from 1914’s Guns of August on, her quintessential devotion to historic intangibles mitigated Kipling’s “Requiem” as Victoria’s Empire turned “one with Nineveh and Tyre.”
In British hearts, this great lady lives forever. Good night, sweet Madame Queen: “May choirs of angels sing thee to thy rest.”
Except for the Q psyop and the leftist rabid animals, any person with any sense of history will acknowledge the Queen was a stabilizing force in England, slowing down the the corrupt throng in power from accelerating toward the precipice. Sometimes, the only evidence of someone influence is what happens after they are gone. I will bet that, saved from a grassroots/patriotic uprising in England, that nation has its place secured floating in the septic tank. She was a great woman (even if she was a sinner like all mankind).
I havent followed her much, and I hold her country responsible for a lot of covid evil. But, I will credit her with one thing: She did all of us the enormous favor of keeping that idiot son of hers away from the monarchy as long as humanly possible. Thank you Queen Elizabeth for that enormous gift.
