The suspicions surrounding Jack’s Magic Coffee shop are not new. {Go Deep} Indeed, the recent whistleblower claims of data insecurity seem to align with the overall theme that U.S. government interest are more than a little deeply involved in the domestic surveillance system known as Twitter specifically, and big social media in general.
In the latest datapoint assembly, a solid dive by MintPressNews into the number of former FBI officials working at Twitter, shows just how enmeshed the federal police are with the social media platform. The scale is really quite remarkable. [SEE HERE]
Big picture – the number of FBI officials working for Twitter indicates some strong connective tissue behind both enterprises.
[MintPressNews] – […] The FBI is generally known as a domestic security and intelligence force. However, it has recently expanded its remit into cyberspace. “The FBI’s investigative authority is the broadest of all federal law enforcement agencies,” the “About” section of its website informs readers. “The FBI has divided its investigations into a number of programs, such as domestic and international terrorism, foreign counterintelligence [and] cyber crime,” it adds. How would it damage the U.S. government if claims about the Chinese government having access to all user data on TikTok, are shown to be identical to the U.S. government having access to all user data on Twitter?
Let that question settle in for a few moments, because that is exactly what I have been alleging since, well, 2011, when the U.S. State Dept first collaborated with Twitter in a joint public-private partnership to use the platform as a communication tool exploiting the Arab Spring uprising in Egypt, Libya and beyond.
The issue of Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop is an issue of financial viability. The business model of Twitter just doesn’t exist as a free social media discussion platform while running the ultra-expensive data processing system needed for millions of simultaneous users. A global chat that requires exponential database responses as an outcome of simultaneous users is just ridiculously expensive. {Go Deep} However, if the computing system and massive database were being subsidized by the U.S. government, then the viability of the ‘free coffee‘ business model makes sense.
“Cloud computing is one of the core components of the strategy to help the IC discover, access and share critical information in an era of seemingly infinite data.” … “A test scenario described by GAO in its June 2013 bid protest opinion suggests the CIA sought to compare how the solutions presented by IBM and Amazon Web Services (AWS) could crunch massive data sets, commonly referred to as big data.” … “Solutions had to provide a “hosting environment for applications which process vast amounts of information in parallel on large clusters (thousands of nodes) of commodity hardware” using a platform called MapReduce. Through MapReduce, clusters were provisioned for computation and segmentation. Test runs assumed clusters were large enough to process 100 terabytes of raw input data. AWS’ solution received superior marks from CIA procurement officials”… (MORE)
The integration between Twitter and the United States Intelligence Community has been hiding in plain sight:
July 26, 2021, (Reuters) – A counterterrorism organization formed by some of the biggest U.S. tech companies including Facebook (FB.O) and Microsoft (MSFT.O) is significantly expanding the types of extremist content shared between firms in a key database, aiming to crack down on material from white supremacists and far-right militias, the group told Reuters.
Until now, the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism’s (GIFCT) database has focused on videos and images from terrorist groups on a United Nations list and so has largely consisted of content from Islamist extremist organizations such as Islamic State, al Qaeda and the Taliban.
Over the next few months, the group will add attacker manifestos – often shared by sympathizers after white supremacist violence – and other publications and links flagged by U.N. initiative Tech Against Terrorism. It will use lists from intelligence-sharing group Five Eyes, adding URLs and PDFs from more groups, including the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters and neo-Nazis.
The firms, which include Twitter (TWTR.N) and Alphabet Inc’s (GOOGL.O) YouTube, share “hashes,” unique numerical representations of original pieces of content that have been removed from their services. Other platforms use these to identify the same content on their own sites in order to review or remove it. (more)
A shared hashing protocol is a form of data system integration.
The databases of the identified social media platforms appear to be integrated with the U.S. intelligence system. This relationship makes the U.S government a stakeholder in the financial sustainability of the enterprise(s). Thus, a collaborative effort to subsidize the underlying data processing fits the mutual benefit scenario.
I hate to point this out because even I am guilty, but we can blame the government and twitter and facebook all day long but the fact is that we all voluntarily surrendered our privacy the first day we bought a smart phone or smart device or signed up for any social media. All of those things were always to gather information on us from day one.
Information has always been the stock and trade of any regime to target the weak and seek out the strong in order to eliminate opposition. It used to be done with spies and couriers, but now it’s just much easier to offer you a cool new device for cheap and you just get to spy on yourself by taking those devices and signing up for state sponsored apps.
We sure wanted our government to manage the information in a fair way, but did any of us here really think that would happen? Really? I’m sure this group of people didn’t think so and yet here we are complaining about surrendering our freedom and even paying to do so in some cases. Instead of person on person gatherings, getting together with family and friends we use platforms to keep in touch with each other. I get so frustrated with my sisters. They wont even call me anymore. I get a crap load of texts from them and I know every text is logged somewhere and I dont even get the satisfaction of talking to my sisters.
Okay, I am about to rant too far. The point is, the government and social media never had to fire a single shot to take our privacy from us. They offered a product and we willingly gave up our rights. Calling foul about it happening now seems a bit to late to me.
Only way to combat it is to use that very system to combat what they are doing to us. How is the best way to do that? I have no idea, but I am smart enough to know that we cant eradicate the system so we will have to exploit it in some way in order to turn it against it’s masters.
“we all voluntarily surrendered our privacy the first day we bought a smart phone or smart device or signed up for any social media”
It doesn’t even take that. All you have to do is just be ON the Internet.
Also, just living in the modern world is all that’s needed – using a credit card to shop, buy gas, stay in a hotel, fly somewhere, rent a car, etc. You don’t even need a “smart phone” to be geolocated.
That and the bazillion surveillance cameras everywhere make excellent, modern thriller books like “The Terminal List” chock full of holes where the protagonists in the real world would actually be caught in no time at all. The modern surveillance state ruins all books like that.
So true, but the biggest way we surrender that freedom is with the use of devices we purchase imo. We cant avoid the tech put in place by the government, but we can limit our exposure to some degree by our choices in purchases and how we represent ourselves online. Uses of monikers and multiple email addresses can help and even if you don’t want to keep up with that sort of thing on websites, just don’t tell your life story so it’s easy to identify you.
I get that some people are so comfortable with our system that they think they can put their entire life online and never fear government intervention but I can assure you that if you post anything against the regime that will eventually take over the internet, your seemingly harmless post that disagrees with the current regime will get you a visit.
Call me crazy, call me paranoid, but what do you think Hitler or Stalin would have done if they had the facebook and twitter information at their fingertips. History tells us what they would have done because history is always the best teacher.
If anyone thinks we’ve evolved beyond Hitler, Stalin, the Crusades, or any brutal war from the past to the current liberal war in the streets facilitated by radicals that cheer on riots, and destruction….
We have not evolved, Those in power in what would seem to be a free nation still back the violence and killing of people on their own soil without fear of being held accountable.
This is why I know at some point the internet will be free to all. Once all of us realize that we’ve been duped and start to consolidate and take up arms, the internet will suddenly be free because controlling the flow of information is the way to ensure false information. It’s their only way to shut free thinkers down.
dear lord I sound like a kook. It’s just the way I feel though
Everyone posting on this site is likely known by every Government agency.
Obama owns the NSA.
True. And that’s why I use my real name. They already know whatever they want to know about me. So screw ’em.
Ditto, I do as well. I will add nek odjebu!
Who cares about all of those govna. I only fear my Lord!!
I have seen these points made elsewhere and it’s not that much of it doesn’t ring true. But for me with my skill set and aptitude, without engaging on the terrain of the enemies creation/acquisition(the internet) I could never own a home(I still don’t own one now). I could never make enough money to have my own family or purchase a home or have adequate healthcare. I am way behind the age most of these things are done by average people.
I don’t live near my family. I work when they are off work, I am off work when they are working or asleep. Do I want to know what is happening in their lives? Then I need social media. I did delete some social media(facebook). But I use other other social media for income. When you don’t have a degree, you have to do the best you can to survive. So unfortunately that very terrain(internet and social media)is my only hope of a family or a home. I have become wiser in my usage of it(VPN). But the damage is done. There are probably records of youthful shenanigans that prevent me from say considering running for office as I would be targeted for corruption.
But I think you are fully right when you say essentially we must learn to turn their weapon to control us into one we combat them with. In reality an ancient martial arts technique. To take the momentum and plan of your opponent and channeling/converting that energy into defeating them. But I simply cannot survive now without the internet. Financially speaking.
“When you don’t have a degree do you have to do the best you can to survive”. Learn a trade. in my scope of work we do dirt work and my employees make $75,000 a year plus. You need to quit feeling sorry for yourself and get off your ass and do something. don’t pay any attention to me, I live in RealVille.
Hitler didn’t need Facebook. He had IBM compile the data necessary to round up his victims.
And, BAYER supplied the zyclon-B for the extermination.
It can be beaten.
It takes system-of-systems thinking.
It takes out of the box thinking.
It takes resources, people and organization.
The “Patriot Act” completely removed the door of our privacy.
the unconstitutional “PATRIOT” Act that removes our Bill of Rights guarantees
And most Americans also eagerly surrendered their God-given rights to the State in return for false promises of “safety” from a false pandemic.
Very few Americans, including “patriots,” are at all interested in regaining their “virtue” which is the absolute requirement for survival of our nation, as our Founders repeatedly warned us.
Everyone is just having too much “fun” it seems.
True, but…in our naivete we assumed that the gov and social media would never conspire to abuse and exploit the single greatest technology since the printing press. Let’s face it, subversive minds are gonna subvert. There is nothing so good and noble that they won’t turn to their evil ends.
Facebook was a DARPA project.
along with Ancestry.com and 123 and me….they get the rubes to volunteer their own information
and yours if you are related…
You’ve nailed it there. I refused the DNA swab when it was a voluntary ‘test’ program run by the DOD only to have my caution thrown away by a brother who willfully submitted his for ‘kicks’. ARRRRGH
bunch of corruption DOJ and FBI in America you can’t never trust Them,
I Remember Back Than The American was everything Better Than Right Now.
what happen?
I believe the Globalist Cartel/NSA has a Social Media scoring system, similar to a credit score. We all have a score, we just don’t know our score yet. We may never know it, but the cartel knows our scores.
Gee thanks. Like I don’t have enough to worry about already. I’ll need a double at bed time.
If the nation’s trajectory doesn’t change for the better, we may not know our social score but we certainly will be told if it is not good “enough” when they come for us in the night.
And our friends and neighbors will look the other way lest they disappear the next night.
‘We Lied the Last 1,000 Times, Trust Us Now’ – Daniel Greenfield / Sultan Knish articles
“We’ve all been through this. The Trump investigations are the Marvel movie franchise of politics. They’ve been around forever and after all that time and energy, they never go anywhere. The purpose of the investigation is the investigation. The changing charges are a pretext for perpetuating a political witch hunt. The promises of a takedown flicker out like the old Mueller votive candles. And yet the true believers are still convinced that this time it’ll be different.”…….
All this “National Security” nuclear horseshit is just to keep the “investigation” within the National Security Division, under the same old Obama Trash who ran the last hundred Trump Frame-Ups. There is zero accountability at DOJ and less-than-zero at the NSD.
AND JUST LIKE THE RUSSIA HOAX, CLAIMS OF “NATIONAL SECURITY” MAKE IT A COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE ACTION, NOT A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. THEREFORE, THEY GET TO SPY ON THE REAL PRESIDENT AND BREAK ALL THE RULES OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROCEDURE.
NOT THAT THEY WEREN’T ALREADY.
“Our FBI Ten Most Wanted this week…are all FBI!”
Rest in the Vine: TRUMP 2022: Reap the Whirlwind!
Well then they must be watching this site closely and with all your knowledge Sundance surprised they aren’t knocking down your door
Oh, they knock. They knock frequently…. The subpoena from the J6 Committee was but one example. But their knocking is futile.
Wolverines faithfully patrol the perimeter.
The Deep State = Wile E Coyote.
Sundance = The Roadrunner.
Sundance, I pray for your protection daily; and that of the CTH crew as well.
God surely blesses this magnificent treehouse.
They don’t care. The WEF is quite open about what they are doing. The Biden admin has been quite in our face.
Everyone knows about Biden’s corruption just as everyone knows J6 isn’t about making sure no one ever breaches the Capitol again, it’s about getting Trump.
They know we know….
Russell Brand had an epic rant regarding Amazon along the same lines.
A bit saucy & nsfw at times, but right on target, imho 🙂
Enjoy the show, big brother. My life is boring. I am glad to know that someone thinks I am so very important, LOL.
Maybe they can tell me where I left my cellphone….
After the MAL raid, I got an email from GAB concerning a letter the company rec’d from some House committee that contained several pages of questions concerning how they monitored/censored posted threats vs government, etc.
My take away was that didn’t seem to me to be a social media platform’s job. Left me wondering if there is some law (or some agency rule that has the force of law) that forces these companies to monitor/report/remove.
Anyone know if they are legally required to do that? Just as I wondered why in the world the FBI would have warned TWTR and FB about Russian disinfo in the run up to 2020 election.
When did it become OK for govt to engage in censorship? When did we as a society agree to having someone curate disinfo/misinfo on our behalfs?

Perhaps the real owner of Twitter is a the intel community through off the books shadow corps, Luke Southern Air in the 80’s, with Dorsey as a straw man front.
correction: …like Southern Air…
Challenge International Airlines (CIA) was another one in the 80s during the Central American Campaign (unrecognized to this day). Ended when we pulled out of active ops in Nicaragua and El Salvador.
Was a forced ‘customer’ for my own ‘safety’ once.
Sat next to a man in mid to late 80s who strongly resembled a certain colonel that appeared on TV months later during a major scandal.
Apparently my nervousness due to the circumstances having to leave early showed.
Man asked me if it was my first flight with this airline. I said yes.
He said, “Son, frequent flyers of this airline don’t have long life spans,” and smirked.
ETS was about a year later. Went home.
In the back of my little brain I always thought the CIA and FBI helped setup and finance Facebook and Twitter- both for control of info and for ” listening” to get the mood of the people they are trying to control.
Madison Ave in the 50’s was set up as a psycop.
The FBI and CIA both were accused of having instigated the shooting death of John Lennon in 1980. The story goes both agencies were soundly found not involved. But now it’s becoming so clear nearly every nonsensical tragedy spanning decades always had something do with the FBI.
There has been element of suspicion almost every time concerning FBI’s involvement.
It’s just not Big Brother spying, but also trying to influence and control the narrative.
How many bots are doing that? Musk never found the answer.
I’m no longer curious about why Elon backed out. I am still confused over why the Twit Criminals sued him not to.
