There are facts involved in the recent conduct of the DOJ and FBI that could be evidence of Sundance’s position that Main Justice is not really interested in indicting former President Trump:
THE RETURN OF THE ESPIONAGE ACT
The use of the Espionage Act on the search warrant to Mar-a-Lago, when 18 USC 1924 would be an easier case to bring, provided that any Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) / Special Access Program (SAP) intelligence was NOT stored inside the STILL ACTIVE Mar-a-Lago SCIF. The Espionage Act is not a statute that has the full favor of federal court justices nationwide. An apparent majority of them do not like it, and have made it impossible to charge anyone for GROSS NEGLIGENCE alone, under 18 USC 793 (f). Typically, federal judges want to see some aspect of INTENT in such prosecutions, which is why the only examples of convictions shown on television shows like HANNITY were prosecuted in MILITARY COURTS, not in a US District Court. The statute 18 USC 1924 is tailor made for charging someone with UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION who stored classified documents about National Security and/or Foreign Relations in an UNAUTHORIZED PLACE. It is also not as complicated in its language or construction. The selection of the Espionage Act reminds me of how Comey treated Hillary Clinton and her staff as opposed to what has been happening to Trump. Whether it was “interviewing” Mrs. Clinton while treating her to a catered brunch, while never hitting her with a search warrant or a National Security Letter, or rummaging through her clothes closets in her mansions, the difference in treatment is glaring, as pointed out on HANNITY by Allen Dershowitz last night. The differences in treatment of these two, somewhat related, cases was what roused most of Dershowitz’s indignation, which brings us to:
CALLING ATTENTION TO THE DOJ/FBI ATTENTION TO THE HILLARY CLINTON “EMAIL” (ESPIONAGE ACT) CASE
It is instructive to remember EVERYTHING Hillary Clinton did to actually FORCE the Obama DOJ to investigate her for her handling of SCI/SAP documents, not just “But Her Emails.” “Her Emails” were just how Hillary both transmitted and stored SCI/SAP documents, and there were many such documents that Hillary illegally stored in unsecured, undersecured, and unauthorized places. SCI can only be stored in a SENSITIVE COMPARTMENT INFORMATION FACILITY (SCIF), pronounced “SKIFF.” Federal officials, and now federal CONTRACTORS (such as Michael Sussmann) are provided with SCIFs. In fact, entire contractors specialize in building these “surveillance proof” rooms/buildings for the use of such federal personnel when dealing with SCI communications and documents. There is a SCIF in Mar-a-Lago, and probably other Trump residences, like there are SCIFs in Hillary’s mansions. There are rules covering the use and management of SCIFs. Hillary violated many of them, including leaving the SCIFs unlocked, and permitting unauthorized personnel, such as her maid, access to her SCIFs. The maid would print out the SCI, scan it into another computer, and transmit it to another unauthorized computer as instructed by Mrs. Clinton. THAT was what was important about the Hillary investigation, not “but her emails.” SCI wound up in places like the Weiner laptop and Huma Abedin’s Yahoo email box as well as the “bathroom server” that housed the Clinton private email system.
Reminding people about this is not wise as Dershowitz telegraphed to the “interested parties” out there.

The intent is to use the judicial system as a cudgel to beat Trump into submission by tying him up in legal charades for as long as he persists.
