Put the blame where it belongs: with Paul Ryan. He hated Trump, said he would NEVER support him, and encouraged 40 Republican congressmen to resign. Given the advantages of incumbency, if only half of them had run again, the odds are good enough would have won to keep the House Republican.

President Trump did endorse Loren Culp in WA-04 before the primary started yet none of the Republican candidates wanted to drop out and therefore, we ended up with a horrible 6 way split that allowed Dan Newhouse to win the primary.
I had another strange dream this morning and this is now my 3rd dream of importance.
God said to me in my dream that he was going to burn the fields of tall grass and nothing else. He even provided a map, designed in hieroglyphics, showing exactly what was to be burned.
My house was in the middle of this and the tall grass touched the underside of the eaves so I started unraveling 3 hoses just in case my home caught fire, I could put them out. Then I woke up and soon realized I had no faith.

Exactly why more than ever, we have to keep our heads about us–especially in light of the FBI raid of Mar-a-lago today. Neither Rome nor this country was built in one day–consolidate as many of these small victories as possible, all while preparing for the day when THE fuze is lit.

I’m in that district and the best part to me was watching Herrera Beutler absolutely panic these last few weeks and to see the amount of money that got sent in to her by RINO donors trying to save her at the last minute get burned up for nothing so they can’t use it somewhere else.
But don’t candidates get to keep 10% of donations?
I thought they got to keep 100% of the unspent money in their campign coffers (and probably don’t have to pay any income taxes on it either….)
It’s not their money to spend on gum and candy bars. They get to keep it in a campaign account and donate it to other candidates or causes, but they can’t spend it for their own benefit.
It’s not just the money but the effort to shut down the wave by the media in a vain attempt to silence, attack and lawfare maga republicans. After EVERYTHING they did, it had no effect. It’s dawning on them all that not only can’t they throw money at a problem and it’ll go away but also that they’re lies are DRIVING people away. It’s difficult to be sure how many rinos will vote ‘yes’ on things like ones you mentioned, because the rino leadership only uses their ‘yes’ vote if it’s absolutely necessary. McConnell and McCarthy have been running this little scam for quite some time, in order to ‘protect’ their most vulnerable rino members from facing their angry constituents close to election season.

This is awesome but don’t celebrate too much til the result is official. They are still counting ballots and if the difference is less than 2000 there will be a recount. They don’t have to finish until August 16 believe it or not.

Now when it’s done and Kent wins, there’s still the danger that Beutler voters will refuse to vote for Kent. He needs their votes. The GOP party needs to step in and tell them to not lose that seat to a Dem! Just like I tell people to vote for the RINOs if that’s who you have on your general election ballot, the RINO supporters have to vote for whatever GOP candidates are on their ballots. Just to clarify: it’s if the vote is within 2000 AND .5% Kent is currently up .46% and there are enough votes left that he has a great chance of avoiding a mandatory recount. Of course Beutler could still pay for one. Probably Kevin McCarthy will pay for it, since he has already injected millions in PAC money into this race in Jaime’s favor.
Republican observers are out in force in Clark County. We are ready for a recount, should one happen.
There was a 3rd Republican in this race who got 33K votes. In this primary Republican voters doubled the number of Democrat voters. There is no chance a Republican will not win this race.
But those voters who didn’t vote for Kent or Beutler probably don’t like either of them. And they worry me, because they might do the stupid knee-jerk thing and say “my preferred candidate didn’t win so I’m not going to vote”. That’s why I want the GOP party in Washington to urge conservatives to vote for Kent to make sure a Republican wins the seat.
Probably a lot of “Republican voters” were actually DemoCommunists registered as Repubs. to pump up the RINO incumbent numbers.

In the interim, of the total votes cast in the primary, about 65% were for R’s, while 35% were for D’s. I hope this is reflective of the general election in November!

And I will go as far as saying if we had maintained GOP majority in the House Garland and his FBI would not have raided Mar-a-Lago. They did it because they can get away with it. McCarthy is threatening to investigate in 2023, after the GOP gets the House majority, IF we can get a GOP majority.
We’re going to win by wide enough majorities that strategically voting out two enemies in our caucus is smart strategy.
We have to be willing to lose on purpose to destroy the GOP. If you win 70 seats and intentionally lose 2, that’s a big deal on many levels.
I say we can’t afford to take a chance losing any seats. We have to win as many as possible. Getting Dems out of House and Senate seats should be our #1 goal.

You are correct. I had a RINO scumbag as my congresscritter. After Jan. 6 I wrote him several letters severely castigating him for his cowardice and lack of loyalty to President Trump. He, of course, never answered. One of the things I told him in those letters was that I would NEVER vote for him again and that I would, without hesitation, vote for the Democrat rather than vote for him since I would rather see the seat lost to the Devil himself rather than see this SOB sent back to DC.
I got lucky. My state changed the voting districts and now my congresscritter is a full-fledged Trump supporter. It would have sucked to vote for the criminals, but even avowed enemies are more honorable than traitors.

I’m a WA03 resident and I’ve been driving around the WA-03 area that Splitter (R) Candidate Heidi St John (33K Votes) and Rep Jamie Herrera ignored and they never campaigned in; Southern Thurston County (Yelm, Rainier, Tenino, Rochester, Bucoda) Kent had a YUGE ground game there , as well as in Lewis County. Dude was doing 3 townhalls weekly, daily in EVERY County.
And I bet he went door knocking. Most consider themselves beneath doing such a thing. When they are willing to do it for themselves, I am all on board.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Still processing the Trump invasion outrage.

A growing number of Democrats in Wyoming may be registering as Republicans in order to back Representative Liz Cheney in the state’s upcoming primary, data suggests. Cheney, the state’s sole representative in the House, has been urging Democrats to switch parties to vote for her in the August 16 primary as she faces a tough re-election battle, with polling showing her trailing behind challenger Harriet Hageman, who has been endorsed by Donald Trump.
Wyoming Democrats—who are massively outnumbered in the state by Republicans— have received mail from Cheney’s campaign with instructions on how to change their party affiliation. Her campaign website also links to a form that allows people to switch parties. The tactic may be working, according to data from the Wyoming secretary of state’s office.
Between January and August, the number of registered Democrats in Wyoming dropped by 6,069 while the number of registered Republicans in Wyoming increased by 11,495, according to the data. The number of unaffiliated voters dropped by 1,575 over that period. Wyoming law allows for same-day voter registration and party changes, meaning some could even switch party affiliations to Republican on August 16, cast a ballot for Cheney and switch back before November.
“There aren’t enough Democrats in Wyoming to save her, but this confirms that Liz Cheney has effectively switched parties,” Tim Murtaugh, an advisor to Hageman, told Newsweek.
Mike Sullivan, a former Democratic governor of Wyoming, told the Casper Star-Tribune that he has registered as a Republican for the first time to vote for Cheney in the primary.
