The officials who count votes in Washington State do not work weekends, they paused ballot counting last Friday but should have continued again this morning.
It sounds bizarre to even say this, but that is the status of current elections in Washington State – and the residents appear to be okay with it. The election was six days ago, and the counting of the votes is still not completed.
There should be an update tonight and we are cautiously hopeful that republican primary challenger Joe Kent might take the lead over Decepticon incumbent Jaime Herrera Beutler.
When they stopped counting votes last Friday, Joe Kent had pulled within 257 votes of defeating Herrera-Beutler.
According to People’s Pundit [SEE HERE] most of the outstanding votes yet to be counted come from election day voting. Mr. Kent was winning on election day voting in every county within Washington State’s third congressional district (WA, CD-03).

Please keep the champagne on ice for awhile longer. WA State is famous for boxes of ballots being “discovered” days later, and multiple recounts.

I don’t know if all the votes are in for WA-04 but so far Newhouse is winning (or won).
One thing to consider in WA State: Just like RINO’s, Dems believe that the way to win an election is by cheating and getting a ton of contributions. I guarantee you that the Dems working the elections think that they would be best off facing a MAGA candidate because the RINO candidate will be funded by the RNC and the RINO candidate with the money will likely win in November. MAGA candidates have nowhere near the money that RINO’s do. The Dems cheat like crazy in our state, and I had a suspicion that just like Kari Lake, Joe Kent would get lots of help from the Dems in power because they are afraid of the RINO money candidates. I wouldn’t be surprised that the Dems helped Kent and Lake win because they were less of a threat to the Dem candidates in November. Just like the Never Trump RINO’s, the Dems don’t understand that the Republican base votes for America first candidates, not candidates supported by the RNC. I’m pretty sure they won’t be able to cheat enough to keep Kent and Lake from winning in November.
And now the lead is 960, with 10,000 left to count tomorrow in Clark County. Kent is ahead by .46% right now. If he can get over .5% tomorrow, he will avoid the state’s mandatory machine recount and JHB will have to pay for it herself. I don’t expect quite the same gains tomorrow, as the tail-end ballots are usually ones where the people didn’t sign the ballot or some other issue. Problem ballots always break Democrat, and we saw that today in Cowlitz, where Jaime (effectively the Democrat) added to her lead by around 40 votes. Still, the 10,000 ballots to be counted in Clark will have a lot of those magic election-day conservative votes in them. I like his chances of avoiding the mandatory recount.

That would be such a great “win” I contributed to Joe and was hoping he could make it to the finals.
The pause was probably so that the cabal that’s really in charge could make sure Kent would be compliant or at least blackmailable.
Strange how, before all of this ‘technology’ we were able to get election results on the night of the election. Now, with computers, technology, electronic voting machines, etc., it takes days to get the result.
