It looks increasingly likely that Dr. Caitlin Bernard, the OBGYN who originally made the claim to the Indianapolis Star, lied about the 10-year-old child rape story in order to sell a sympathetic abortion narrative to the public. An ideologically compliant and incurious media then promoted the false story, which led to Joe Biden repeating the story as part of his pro-abortion speech and executive action. It’s Jussie Smollett all over again.
The Washington Post previously tried and failed to verify the story and wrote an article saying the only attribution for the claim comes from Dr. Caitlin Bernard {link}. There is zero evidence the story is true, and considerable evidence the story was a complete hoax. Including the lack of any police report and no documentation of any rape despite a legal responsibility to do so.
Now Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is saying his office has no evidence of a raped ten-year-old child who was impregnated, including a request for lab results. Yost also noted that Ohio law would have allowed for an abortion in such a case. First, the summary of the likely hoax. WATCH:

This one is designed first to indicate that allowing the states to determine abortion laws is unsatisfactory because of these outrage stories. This is to lay the groundwork for Democrats to push another unConstitutional bill to assure their privileged donors that they are “doing something” to protect “reproductive health rights.” They must do this to keep the post-menopausal rich white women on board, truly their only reliable constituency apart from deviants. What our privileged class need in a narrative is to confirm their asinine perceptions of the middle of the country, “MAGA country,” as toothless hillbillies raping their daughters. They relish this sort of narrative so much that they will immediately run with it and gin up their self-righteousness to fever pitch in denouncing the hicks they fear so much. I was immediately suspicious of this story when I searched for info about the Indiana doc and I saw how rabidly pro-abortion she is, giving interviews to the press and engaging in other activism. She seemed so hell bent on preserving the “right” to abortion I didn’t doubt even back when the story broke that she would be capable of lying.

How casually they lie ! I have noticed this with people I know personally: that among the left-leaning ones it is acceptable to lie to achieve their purposes. They think “all truths are relative” and to a lie for a worthy purpose is not wrong. The right leaning ones believe there are absolute truths, even if with our human limitations we can only approach them as pole stars, or ideals — and therefor to lie is to betray the one thing that can bring us together.

I take everything I read/hear with a grain of salt.
I like to wait at least 24 hours before I start to start forming an opinion. Normally, it seems to take more than 24 hours for the truth to start sneaking out. Often it can take from 48 hours to an entire week before the facts and actual analysis to congeal.
I am confident that the “elites” are shining us on where most things are concerned. This isn’t new, the elites have done this for centuries. It is the same game they always play so that they can live a high life on the backs of the people who do the work.

Indiana’s AG ought to take this up. The doctor needs to be punished, because either she was aware of an actual rape of a young girl and didn’t report it, or she fabricated the story. Either way clearly she’s a crazy person and needs to be made to stop practicing medicine.

“Arrest made in rape of Ohio girl that led to Indiana abortion drawing international attention
A Columbus man has been charged with impregnating a 10-year-old Ohio girl, whose travel to Indiana to seek an abortion led to international attention following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade and activation of Ohio’s abortion law.
Gershon Fuentes, 27, whose last known address was an apartment on Columbus’ Northwest Side, was arrested Tuesday after police say he confessed to raping the child on at least two occasions. He’s since been charged with rape, a felony of the first degree in Ohio.
Columbus police were made aware of the girl’s pregnancy through a referral by Franklin County Children Services that was made by her mother on June 22, Det. Jeffrey Huhn testified Wednesday morning at Fuentes’ arraignment. On June 30, the girl underwent a medical abortion in Indianapolis, Huhn said.
Huhn also testified that DNA from the clinic in Indianapolis is being tested against samples from Fuentes, as well as the child’s siblings, to confirm contribution to the aborted fetus.
Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Cynthia Ebner said the case did not warrant Fuentes — who is believed to be undocumented — to be held without bond.
Ebner said a high bond was necessary, however, due to Fuentes being a possible flight risk and for the safety of the child involved. Before being arrested, Huhn and Det. David Phillips collected a saliva sample from Fuentes, according to a probable cause statement.
Ebner set a $2 million bond for Fuentes, who is being held in the Franklin County jail.”

So maybe it happened after all? But something about this story still doesn’t make sense.
Yesterday, the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said he hadn’t heard word about this and that there was no investigation going on. He said on Fox News that “We have regular contact with prosecutors and local police and sheriffs and not a whisper anywhere.” He said “my office runs the state crime lab. Any case like this you’re going to have a rape kit, you’re going to have biological evidence, and you would be looking for DNA analysis. There is no case request for analysis that looks anything like this.” Yet now, one day later, they have arrested and are charging someone? It’s very curious. If it really happened then it looks like Republican Dave Yost’s subordinates ALL set him up to look foolish.
Also, if the mother reported this, (and according to this article she did so a week before the girl had the abortion in Indiana), then the abortionist may be in the clear as a mandated reporter but the still unnamed doctor in Ohio violated the Mandated Reporter law by not reporting this immediately. Why isn’t his name being mentioned? And why did it take so long to arrest the guy (if they knew his name) or for the authorities to even mention the rape? They let people like Sundance go out on the limb by pointing out the reason the story looked fake . Either that was their purpose, or something about this story still doesn’t feel right. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Further curiosity is that the UNDOCUMENTED rapist is referred to as “a Columbus man.”

The suspected rapist accused of impregnating a 10-year-old child rape victim in Ohio was arrested on Tuesday after confessing his heinous crimes to police.
27-year-old Gershon Fuentes was taken into custody on Tuesday and booked into Franklin County jail.
Fuentes, who is believed to be an ILLEGAL ALIEN, was arraigned Wednesday morning and bond was set at $2 million, the Columbus Dispatch reported.

If it’s a hoax, why did the Ohio gendarmes just arrest Gerson Fuentes, an UNDOCUMENTED gentleman residing in Ohio, and charge him with two counts of rape?
