This same consequence-free child rearing attitude brings us these overgrown children out having tantrums in the streets when everyone doesn’t agree with whatever they are thinking/doing at any given moment. They are shocked that we who do not bless their every move are allowed to breathe.
It is inconceivable to me that grown-azz women are out emoting all over the place like a fire hydrant turned wide open over somebody forcing them to have a child. Nobody is forcing them in 99% of cases.
Even in the cases of rape or incest. Have they never heard of calling 911? Reporting it to a resource officer? Teacher? Guidance counselor? Trusted adult? Rape kit done. Check. Emergency contraception done? Check. Further procedures done, if necessary, to ensure no implantation? Check. Lady gets on with her life, hopefully in a safer and more nurturing environment. Check.
That these stupid femelles (it’s French for women who act like female animals in heat) seem to think that they should have consequence-free “encounters” 24/7 and if they do manage to “get caught,” it’s somehow the innocent baby’s fault and it should pay with its life. These femelles believe that they should never have to take one iota of responsibility for preventing that baby from being made in the first place. Ever. Not even to the extent of requiring their male counterparts to wear condoms. (That became a necessity in my generation because of AIDS. You’d think this bunch would have learned something along the line.)

The SCOTUS needs to revisit another of their erroneous disastrous decisions. They decided to declare that carbon dioxide (CO2) is a pollutant. That decision gave the corrupt EPA total control of the US economy and private businesses. It is the cornerstone of the New Green Deal which is crushing American businesses through bogus carbon footprint policies. Though I’ve mostly tried to avoid them, I’ve seen a little of the leftist responses on FB and NextDoor. I’m surprised but not surprised by the histrionics.
There was a time when pretty much everyone agreed that legislating from the bench was wrong.
It was wrong in 1973, it continues to be wrong.
But to simply undo that patent wrong has sent half of our country even further into bizarro world. And the thought that other wrongful legislating from the bench might be undone has really sent them into the most fervent emotional tizzy.
The result of that wrongful legislation, coming from the wrong branch of government, that can never be unwound is the attitude so many people, especially under 50 years of age: “Proud to be Promiscuous.”
For those of us who were raised during a more traditional era and have watched as the “womens equality” movement has ruined the lives of a couple generations of women, this attitude doesn’t seem particularly praiseworthy.

I have not seen anything on NextDoor yet. However, I got a nice laugh the other day. A lady named Debbie posted about calling the police for something stupid. It turned to politics and she did what liberals do. She started calling people names. A guy responded to Debbie, starting with Karen,. She responded with “my name is not Karen you jerk” followed by more liberal hate speech. He again responded addressing his response to Karen. This went back and forth. Others chimed in with Lol type stuff. Poor Debbie got more and more apoplectic until suddenly she must have gotten it. Crickets. Lots more LoL’s. Including mine.

The spokes person was an attractive young person who said…Planned Parenthood multiple times. I have the impression she might be paid employee of Planned Parenthood.
I started reading comments section and noticed the Pro choice had monopolized the comments. Definitely trolls.
Many also commented about local restaurant which put pro choice sign in window. And how they walked away and went to another restaurant. Stating they went to restaurant for food to eat….not a political opinion.
As for the rest of the participants.. I would not be surprised if this wasn’t their first time—–standing on a corner!

In both cases -warming the water or lowering pressure – more CO2 leaves the water than enters, until the new balance is achieved. While cooling or increasing pressure drive more CO2 into the water.
In 1991, the Volcano at Mt Pinatubo erupted, creating a cloud that circled the Earth along the Equator, measurably cooling the tropical waters beneath it. Per Henry’s Law, this should have caused a major transfer of CO2 from air into water. Once the cloud dispersed, the water warmed up again, and should have caused a rebound in CO2 in the air.
The Muana Loa Observatory in Hawaii has measured CO2 levels in the air for 50 years. These scientists were able to detect the expected dip and rebound in the CO2 levels from the eruption and eventual dispersion of the cloud, within that data.
Conclusions: CO2 levels in the Earth’s atmosphere rise and fall with temperature. The magnitude of CO2 emitted by a warming ocean is more than 1,000 times larger than all the CO2 from all human activities, rendering it irrelevant.
Another study I posted about recently made the case that Earth’s warming and cooling is primarily driven by sunspot cycles, and we are entering a 50 year cooling cycle. This cooling per Henry’s Law should dramatically lower CO2 in the air.
So the “climate emergency” is shown to be based upon corrupt “science” serving political expediency by power hungry enemies, just as the need for vaccines is shown to be a giant fleecing and possible poisoning of the US taxpayer by the same or allied evil enemies.
Let us hope that in all things, “The truth will out,” just as the text of the Constitution has reasserted itself, after fifty years of being thrust aside in favor of legal sophistries like “substantive due process.”
One of the issues with Gore’s movie was his graph showing CO2 and temperature going up and down together throughout the ice ages.
The problem was that Scientists already had better resolution and proof that CO2 rose many years after temperature rose. If I remember correctly, the peaks were 800 years apart.
He couldn’t admit the truth because that strongly undercut his argument. Two things going up and down together is correlation. Correlation is not causation, but it leaves the question open. One thing following another is a strong signal of possible causation. Temps drive CO2, not the other way around.
There is still an opening for man’s CO2 driven cycles to be different than the Ice Age driven CO2 cycles. But the data destroyed Gore’s argument.

Also, the earth’s oceans and atmosphere are not a closed system. When O2 was introduced into the oceans, it locked away all the iron which precipitated into the red soils we see today. CO2 gets similarly sequestered by calcium. All our limestone contains vast amounts of calcium carbonate, CaCO2, locked away by life forms and turned into ocean floors.

President Joe Biden has endorsed a bill that was passed in the United States House that would add racial equity to the Federal Reserve’s dual mandate of maintaining price stability and full employment.
The bill in question, H.R. 2543, the Financial Services Racial Equity, Inclusion, and Economic Justice Act, was passed by a vote of 215-207 on June 15, 2022. This legislation is designed to promote racial and economic justice in borrowing, housing, and lending.
This bill would have the Federal Reserve execute monetary policy and other functions in a way that reduces ethnic and racial inequities.
The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board noted that this bill is in line with the Fed’s recent move to become more woke. Several members of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) have already pushed for “inclusive” employment.
In effect, the passage of this law would make racial equity an integral part of the Fed’s mandate. Under this bill, the Board of Governors and FOMC are instructed to “exercise all duties and functions in a manner that fosters the elimination of disparities across racial and ethnic groups with respect to employment, income, wealth, and access to affordable credit.”

I bet another way to destroy single-family housing zones. California already did it with farmworker housing using the equity argument. The farmworker housing there can go in any single family residential-limited agricultural zones, even if only 1/2 acre, for up to 40 beds. That was one reason why we moved to Utah since they were going to put one in across the street in our zone even though we were restricted on full-fledged agricultural activities. There was no full-fledged ag going on for miles around, just larger residential lots where you could have a couple horses or cows or some grape vines but no wineries. The ag owners did not have to pay for such housing on their land, had no problem destroying our neighborhoods (and tax base) while their workers commuted to work. I fought it for two years but the county had to cave to state equity edicts even though every county supervisor seemed very sympathetic to my arguments.

Looks like CA will pass a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENDMENT to legalize abortion. All they need is 27 votes to pass the Senate. There’s 31 Democrats. It’s up to the voters in November.
Maybe they’ll have a mass exodus out of red states and an influx of new residents there!
I assume this is a US constitutional amendment and not just for California.
In that case, 38 other states need to follow. You know all the blue states will follow suit. It will become the “next thing”. An “emo” will probably show up for it. Figure 25 states will eventually pass such an amendment.
If this is just California, then they are just engaging in theater. They already have virtually unrestricted abortions. They could probably make it a mandatory school lesson taught to kindergarten level and up. I’m sure they already have California welfare/medical programs paying for them.
