“Red Flag Laws” So, if your 14 year old is pissed at her divorced dad and makes a call to the cops, you will be branded “armed and dangerous” and treated accordingly. No police force is going to show up and knock politely on the door of someone under a red-flag complaint. Instead, you’ll receive a 5am SWAT team visit that kicks in your door, shoots your dog, and treats you like a criminal (or, even worse, just kill you for “resisting” which has already happened). I think the real aim is to get those Red Flag laws in place however they can. All the rest is window dressing. They are disguising their intent by wrapping it in a package of otherwise reasonable-sounding measures the easily manipulated masses will readily accept and support. GOP will go along.
