JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon warned of a “hurricane” as the economy struggles against fiscally induced growth, quantitative tightening and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Mr Dimon was delivering remarks at a conference sponsored by Alliance Bernstein Holdings Wednesday.
Higher oil prices, higher fuel prices, higher energy prices and much higher food prices are all looming over the horizon as the Biden administration switches the baseline for the U.S economy from oil and gas to the Green New Deal energy program. Things are going to get worse, the question is, how much worse? WATCH:
The White House is pretending the U.S. government does not have full control over what is happening in the economy. The media are pretending not to know that the White House is avoiding admitting the agenda and economic pain is intentional and unavoidable. The republican politicians are pretending the Biden economic transition program is because the White House is incompetent. All of these -and so many more- are just pretenses.
What is being done by the government, in this decision to switch from an oil and gas economy into a wind and solar economy, is being done on purpose. Yes, everyone at every level of government, both political parties and every agency within it, and the entirety of the corporate media are pretending not to know this is the Green New Deal taking place.
The ” Transition ” is a nice word for them to – ” Seize the means of production ”
Commies gonna Commie
You hit the nail on the head with that comment.
Please , everyone ….. look at Executive Order # 11490.
This was written about by William Cooper in his 1991 book , Behold A Pale Horse.
It outlines how FEMA would be empowered to take over everything from food, communications , energy , trucking , shipping – everything.
Do I think it will play out exactly like he says ? I dont know , but it is a good rundown about what we might reasonably expect. ( All it takes is right ” Emergency ” )
There is a link in todays daily politics to William Coopers – Mystery Babylon series , it explains everything……. GO Find It.
I was born on an oil lease and married a second generation Energy Producer. Nothing is more reliable, efficient and affordable than American made petroleum products. I am not ‘against’ solar or geothermal or nuclear energy. I want the market to decide how much of what is produced.
Nothing will destroy our individual liberty quicker than relying on the “Green New Deal’.
Thank you, Mrs. Jones. So how do we keep on drilling and supporting ourselves? We need to go past the federal government because they are acting against our best interests. They do not represent us.
you refuse to comply, resume your business, and post defensive positions in the event that any agent of the illegitimate and unconsented fed attempts an incursion on your sovereignty.
let it come, already.
My family goes back many generations in California, but we are in the process of moving full time to Texas. I think there is a much better chance for Texas to become ‘energy independent’ than any other state. We need to allow Oil and Gas companies to update their infrastructure, build state of the art oil refineries and tell the Federal government to mind their own business.
California is rich in petroleum but our state government has been captured. That is another story, but don’t believe native born Californians ever voted for Marxism. California has more colleges and college students than any other state. Over the past 60 years radicals have moved in taken over our learning, media and municipal services. What is happening to America now happened to California in 2008 when we finally took a haymaker to the head.
Mrs. Jones, please recall that Texas’ energy infrastructure is compromised. During the winter before last, Texas had record cold temperatures which froze the wind turbines and who knows what else which led to a complete breakdown in energy supplies. I think Texas gets 20% or more of its energy from wind. I realize this is a very incomplete recollection and things may have changed in the last year and a half.
With 44% of our electricity coming from natural gas I’d say Florida’s energy infrastructure is also hanging by a thread.
The saving grace might be that Florida’s governor won’t let his citizens down.
DeSantos, perhaps with President Trump whispering in his ear, will find a way.
I am most confident of it. And if in the process they need to tell the feds to go
screw themselves, so be it.
I was in Hill Country for the Big Freeze Feb 2021 and again this past winter for the downsized version. I agree with your concern, but I believe that if becoming a ‘Energy Sanctuary State’ is possible anywhere, it is in Texas. Oil and Gas producers would need to work with AG Paxton and devise a plan to disregard Federal laws governing oil and gas production. There are some heavy hitters in Texas who could make it happen.
I was one of the lucky ones who never lost power during that time. I think part of the problem was a fault in the winterization of some of the wind farms and a big issue was a nuclear plant shut for some seemingly minor issue. Supposedly they have fixed it. I guess we’ll find out.
I read that one of the issues is that the back up plan was based on
solar energy.
Very good point, Should the nation survive, the universities have to be structured to minimize the non productive majors, the ease of which leave students with too much time on their hands and consume taxpayers funds with without a return on investment. I’d like to know the presumed majors of all those delinquent student debtors. Probably not engineering, chemistry or accounting.
The Marxist profs weaponize students against their parents and activate them politically where the college is located. A small town like Santa Barbara has over 30 thousand college students, the majority of whom register to vote in Santa Barbara rather than the place they came from to ‘study’.
Some of these students are serious about learning practical skills related to engineering or mathematics but the majority are borrowing money to get a worthless degree that leaves them qualified for nothing but activism and government work.
I am a stout conservative….with some horrendous occurrences early in her life and attendance at UCSB my daughter rejects both my Christianity and ideology opting for the opposite instead……I attended the far more conservative Chico State but even it had its liberal tendencies…..even conservative areas of CA w a college or universities suddenly become very liberal slanted come the first day of school
I agree a ‘free’ market will ‘easily’ navigate all of this from both the demand and supply-side ‘without’ these self-proclaimed ‘experts’.
“Nothing will destroy our individual liberty quicker than relying on the “Green New Deal’.”
Which is, precisely, why it has been implemented.
The GND is already up and running in the Marxist Commie gulag of New York.
They are shutting down power plants like Indian Point (20% of NY City and vicinity’s electricity) and refusing to allow new ones to be built. The Demonrats who control everything also won’t allow existing plants to be repaired and upgraded.
We are staying to fight as long as we can. We have dug in as much as possible- we have our own water supply, septic, generators, wood stove, etc.
But if it gets to the point where we can’t have lights, power, heat and regular cars and trucks, we will have no choice but to leave.
I am not going to spend my last remaining years freezing to death in darkness.
Where there is inexpensive energy there is freedom. Where energy is unreliable and expensive, there is tyranny.
as I have said many times….”A modern economy can ONLY operate with cheap, reliable, and the AVAILABLE access to energy.”…all modern economies consume huge amounts of energy for production and maintenance of the standards of living their citizens enjoy…..limiting that will necessarily affect that same comfortable living
6000 American made petroleum products, if you please. Wait to, they need one of those products.
No petroleum production, no iPhone, no Tesla, no Coachella.
The FED will be removing liquidity for the first time. No one truly knows how bad this will be. Panic is starting to set in as the big boys see this hurricane gathering and they know a great big recession is at hand and could easily escalate into the next Great Depression because of the green new deal. None have the courage to buck the cabal at this point. Great pain is coming over the next four years, that’s almost guaranteed.
“None have the courage…”
Let’s pray for COURAGE to erupt on a grand scale! Nothing is impossible for God.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
That is because over 90% are in the scam.
pray for the courage to not just speak truth to power, but to FIGHT the power.
This is all purposeful. When things are really bad, people will turn over their freedoms for someone to stop the pain and fix the problems.
Digital ID’s coming tied to your race, your vote, your bank accounts, your compliance score on vaccines, your carbon usage, your church membership, your social media posts, your cell phone data.
We know they will fail. No one has ever been able to rewrite the laws of economics. But they are arrogant enough to think they are the special ones.
Three unknowns: how long will it take, how bad will it get, will we survive?
Waiting for this.
I am already sick of pride month and we’re only 2 days in. Disgusting.
Hahaha! I was born sick of perversion on parade. They should rename it ‘Shame Month’!
Sodomy is one of the sins that cries to Heaven for vengeance.
Saw a meme where the “pri” and “th” were removed from “pridemonth” leaving the word “demon”.
if we were to finally withdraw consent and act, we could help answer those unknowns.
They are not only trying to rewrite the laws of economics but physics as well. They will fail as all have before them.
That’s what they are counting on.
The need to reduce the world population to 500 million and below is a mighty powerful urge among the Elites.
They know something we don’t.
500 million? How can the wealthy elites maintain their lifestyle with only 500 million people on earth? I think a 2 billion reduction to 6 billion is more likely the objective. Reduction through virus, inoculations and starvation should make it. If not quite there add in freezing’s and some more wars.
Just say when.
It’s getting Pitchforks & Torches time.
Not on the mall in DC. The feds will throw any Deploreable into solitary confinement. Naked. Without legal representation. Without filing a charge. They’re well practiced at it.
Cease purchasing anything from large corporations if you can for a start.
They are the ones funding the politicians who got us in this mess.
But I can’t live without my Fox News or my Disney+!
Until I can’t afford these things..
until we overcome that fear they worked so hard to instill, we will fail to take it to the one place it ultimately MUST GO.
DC is mordor. you do not end it until mordor falls
Yes. If you find yourself in a fair fight your strategy sucks.
Depends how many deplorables there are, standing together.
They can’t throw a million people in jail.
It is past time. I’m at the ready. Just say when.
count me in as well!
We are constantly told to not fight back because “they” will implement martial law.
We are terrified to do much of anything and “they” know this.
Having guns is useless because we are too frightened to use them.
We are already under martial law, frightened and huddled in our homes.
The border is wide open, our elections are rigged and we know it, criminals roam our streets they burn our cities and loot stores openly, our taxes support mentally ill street dwellers who poop and pee in our once beautiful cities, our children are gunned down in our public schools, our Congress gives gobs of money to foreign countries while our store shelves are empty when is it time to say enough is enough and we can not vote our selves out of this mess.
If , or when “they” impose martial law to enforce the green new deal policies at a local level, whom will “they” get to enforce their policies?
I pity the poor basturds who accept that job.
Remember the old western vigilantes? Not long now for a recurrence?
Wouldn’t martial law make them fair game? Technically, that would be the first swing in a street/bar fight.
They are going to push and push and then act surprised when we say enough.
This just makes me nauseous. I was forced to retire this past October because I refused to get the clot shot. My 401k is of a very humble amount, but I could, previously, live modestly with it. Now it’s dwindling by the day. This regime is evil.
Advice, take it or leave it 🙂
Sell everything, buy a medium sized camper, travel the USA and have fun. It costs very little and you’ll be surprised how free you feel without the encumbrance of a lot of possessions.
You’re apparently ignoring the high and continuously rising cost of motor fuel PLUS an increasing number of locations with fuel shortages. RVs tend to consume far more fuel than standard passenger vehicles.
A very close relative of mine told me today that the school bus yard in a Northeast state for whom she drives is now 5 days late getting a diesel delivery and the bus yard is now rationing the fuel by limiting each bus to only what’s needed for its daily run. They’ve never seen this situation before. Ever.
Yup just pulled mine down to Florida – $300/day in fuel cost.
About 50 – 60 gals per day?
Pull an RV recently?
Not recently. Had two self-contained travel trailers, a 17 ft. Wilderness in the ’70s and a 16 ft. Shasta in the ’80s. Towed with passenger cars; the earlier with a V-8 ’70 Javelin, the latter with a V-8 ’84 Cougar. I remember getting about 10 mpg with the earlier rig; about 14 mpg with the Cougar. Had sway bars; class 3 load leveling Reese hitch for both. I don’t recall the GVWR for either trailer, but they were among the lightest in their day apart from Pop-up trailers.
I am pulling a 7000lb trailer with a 3/4 ton truck. 12mpg is a good run 10 more typical..
And how long are you staying in Florida? Long enough to make that $300 look cheaper than a house?
Starve the beast. Go Galt 🙂
We spent a month in Florida before the gas prices got this bad. It was expensive then but we could manage it. What was ridiculous was finding worthwhile places to camp. 95% of everything was filled, and what was available lacked many of the amenities you expect. That are they were in high crime areas.
We ended up staying in the middle-south area on a private airstrip. The privacy was awesome, the proximity to anything was non-existent. The cost was 1500-2000 for a month, much more than a mortgage.
Working from home has many people living in campers and away from cities.
I live in Richmond Va. One of our surrounding counties just
announced they are closing schools 4 days early, ostensibly because they have a shortage of drivers. That’s ludicrous. It’s because they are rstioning gas and the superintendent is probably under orders not to cite that as the reason.
You are of course correct, but who said you had to continuously drive? Find a great campground, stay for a month, explore the area by bike or scooter. It’s cheap, a lot cheaper than paying rent on a house or property taxes on one you already own, assuming the house is fully paid for.
Walmart and Sam’s Club in many locations allow you to stay a few days for free.
We can only run for so long and then we will need to take a Stand.
This is the hard lesson that every population eventually learns.
No one will solve your problems, you can put them off for awhile.
But they must eventually be faced.
I believe it is called a Reckoning which always comes one way or the other.
You are correct. It is a reckoning, and it will come one way or another. Either it all implodes and we fall like a house of cards, or we somehow rise up and say, enough! I can’t imagine how or who will do a Doc Holiday …. “Say When”
My parents ruined their retirement by selling their house and buying a camper.
Good plan until the fuel runs out.
They are, and I think that’s the whole of it. There is no real “transition” taking place. Farming, shipping, transportation, military, airlines etc, all still continue to use oil with no alternative in sight. It must be a different type of transition that they’re talking about. Not an energy one, but a governing one. For now, it’s just punishment, tightening screws, until a breaking point. Then the transition truly takes place, I guess.
Maybe we will transition THEM.
Same situation here. My husband had an unforeseen medical event at 65 years old that prevents him from working but we live modestly and have always been good at saving. We had reason to believe we would live comfortably in retirement.
Now it looks like I will need to go back to work. That means I can no longer care for my preschool grandchildren while their mother and father work. There will be a lot of change coming, and much of it painful.
I’ve combined households with my daughter and two granddaughters. I’m blessed to have enough room and it’s working out well. I see this in the future for many people.
We need to get to the point where we inflict the pain on them instead of allowing them to inflict it upon us.
There are millions and millions of us and only a few thousand of them.
I constantly hear the fear in the keyboard of those that are “locked up in DC” because of what happened on J6 and that is keeping the rest of us in the multi-millions under the boot of the few thousand.
Yes it is very very bad and I do not want it to happen to me, but we will have to get to the point that we will risk it or we will be under the boot of these fussy euroweenies forever.
We will be huddled in the dark in our cold houses eating bugs while our children starve because we were afraid to go to DC because we “might” get throw in jail and the key tossed away.
So we get locked in our own houses, freezing and starving instead of a jail cell in DC while our families at least get a fighting chance.
Yeah that makes sense.
The elites are laughing their rear ends off.
If there is any place to work once, they are done with breaking the economy first. I’m in the same position. Invalid spouse needing my care. Both retired on SS. With high food costs and fuel costs, it is not going to be reaching and we don’t go anywhere but to doctors. Stay at home constantly due to their inability to go about. By the end of this year, we will be using up our savings then we will have to depend on God’s care totally. I better learn how to dehydrate bugs. Chocolate will be too costly for flavoring. 🙂
And no one is talking about what damage this is doing to senior citizens who just survive on Social Security.
I was supposed to retire at the end of December last year. Due to changes at work, i agreed to stay on. on the one hand, I am glad I did. But on the other hand, i am extremely pissed because now i don’t know when i can retire due to all this mess.
Importing foreigners, destroying our power and the ability to create electricity while promoting electric cars. No normal human being thinks this is good.
Brace yourself, indeed, for the most outrageous destruction ever imagined…all because they stole an election and nobody was able to bring our elected president back.
Like famine and war it is government induced calamity.
And then after they switch, it won’t work. It will be like an ice storm that lasts for six months. Won’t matter how “prepared” anyone is.
A blizzard that kills all the cattle .
The ships at sea, presently stationed hundreds of miles out as they wait to proceed into harbor to then wait for unloading, will no longer be in any line. There will no longer be a line for unloading goods that may have been shipped.
Gas stations will have no fuel. Murders to obtain vehicle fuel will escalate (even more).
It will be the morning after, without a bomb ever having been dropped.
No matter how much food has been stashed away by preppers, there will come a day when it is used up.
The only reason for any of their warnings is so that they can say told ya so and also escape responsibility.
Joe and Jill will be fine up on their hill. .
The only comment I have is why do people allow this resident in the White House that stole the election and and his only intention is to destroy the country.
because apparently we still believe we have too much to lose.
it goes slowly. then all at once.
Demure:
Save yourself.
This will be the Great Depression x10.
If not, it can only be prudent to proceed accordingly.
My grandparents, even my parents were terrified of debt.
A few extra dollars in your pocket can never hurt. Funny how denying the big corporations your pennies always becomes a net positive.
My grandparents of the Great Depression and Dirty Thirties ate weeds. Know the edible plants in your area and how to preserve them. Wild birds, rabbits, and other useless things become a food source. A great change of taste will come about too. What we consider as Eewww that’s icky will become likeable.
BINGO! Gardy. I recommend everyone purchase a regional guide for plant identification and use. PRO TIP… make sure it has coated pages to avoid damage from water and usage. Plants, mushrooms, and old fashioned homesteading.
My wife made a 5 gallon bucket setup for laundry. We used it while camping as a test. My clothing was cleaner and smelled better than our top-end washer at home!
Great post!
Like the onset of old age. Very slowly. Then all of a sudden.
We have stuff! However we still live as if we were still poor.
Just came in from a short visit to a local thrift store.
Four terrific T shirts, one merino wool sweater, a smart pair of shorts and a real wood miniature hockey stick for our oldest grandson. $16.00 ( Can) all in. The biggie no sales tax as it is a shop for Hospice.
Starve the government!
Shop yard sales, garage sales etc.
Save money and help your neighbors.
Disrespectful demons in DC deserve nothing!
Yep, disgusting.
Because people who tried are locked up in d.c with no representation.
BAM
Maybe because all know he is false and the dummy to the puppeteer? Who is the man behind the curtain? The real controllers are in England. Known as Rothschild where we cannot touch them.
That is what King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette of France thought right before the peasants stormed the Bastille and put and end to their nice cushy life style they though would never end.
Things can change in the blink of an eye.
God Bless America.
Napoleon then became the Emperor.
The French embarked on a long series of imperialist wars.
Young European men died by the millions.
In the age of nuclear weapons, you’ve got quite the plan.
You might not want that store clerk job especially if you have food and gas
Sharon:
And as Mark Steyn was trying to tell us at least a decade ago, with our plummeting birthrate, we will not have the young warriors to pull off this revolution our Second Amendment couch warriors are always promising.
The Founding Fathers were young men. The warrior class always look like Kyle Rittenhouse. The army drafts young men (duh!). And goofs who post pictures on this web site of their gun collection give the government an excuse to shut down Sundance, and nothing else.
So, basically, us “conspiracy theorists” were correct in stating that the election was stolen, and there was a hostile takeover of our country. Everyone is just pretending that didn’t happen and hoping things will work themselves out.
They’re not going to work themselves out unless we stop them. The government is currently under the control of Communists (they call themselves Marxists or Socialists or Green New Deal proponents, but it’s the same thing). Everything happening is on purpose. Communists *always* try to starve the population into compliance. They take over the means of production and force compliance or they shoot you. Prepare accordingly.
” Conspiracy Theorist ” means being right very , very early, before most.
“Everyone is just pretending that didn’t happen and hoping things will work themselves out.”
I’m not pretending any such thing. Since the day Joe and Jill moved into the White House, I’ve been stocking up, planning, purchasing, preparing to be without power and without water pressure, etc. etc. etc. I’ve been learning to do things I didn’t know how to do before. Preparing far beyond anything I’m about to speak of here.
I am not pretending.
Everyone is not pretending.
The ones who are pretending are very, very dangerous and will continue to be very, very dangerous until they decide that it’s time to flee for help to the very people who are destroying us, and the destroyers will sign them up (as a price for helping them) and tell them who they are to target and destroy at a personal level.
That is the day that those who have not been pretending will do what they are prepared to do.
All we ever wanted was to be left alone.
But no. Our betters just had to keep pushing. They just had to keep yelling.
All we wanted was to be left alone.
Very true and a very good post Sharon.
Many of us are not pretending and not exactly waiting for some one else to fix the problem.
All we wanted was to be left alone.
And what we’ve learned is that they will never leave us alone.
I wonder if Dimon has a fully stocked bunker somewhere…
Dimon is a billionaire!
Dimon lacks the imagination to foresee the end of capitalism.
People who are very intelligent with numbers often have very little imagination.
Nobody will simply seize his wealth? Dimon cannot imagine that..
Commie rats are all closet stabbers. This is how they operate.
Don’t be fooled, there are many, MANY fairweather conservatives amongst us. Even in rural areas. They talk a great game but when it comes down to it they will use the system to attempt to crush you and/or gain advantage for themselves. I had a neighbor who for years stopped by every day to talk and hangout. Then I decided to make a significant change on my property which he didn’t like. His wife complained to every governmental organization she could, even outright lying in an attempt to get me stopped. She was a local governmental employee her entire life. I stuck to my decisions and the agencies finally told her to stop calling. She even tried to get lawyers involved. It was infuriating to deal with but we held …and won. We now have a beautiful sculpted pond stocked with bass, breem, and catfish…. all they have is a sour look on their faces.
Complete media black-out on the energy issue and its cascading effects on our economy and on our lives. Nothing nationally and nothing locally. I suspect if any news producer ran a serious story on this anywhere it would be their last story.
If this continues (and it will), there will be another large group of mostly middle class families pushed into the arms of government. Gas could easily reach $8 national average and diesel is likely to push over $10. It will collapse everything, intentionally so.
This doesn’t even mention the crisis coming this winter with heating costs and energy availability. This could get flat-out dangerous. Not one peep from our beloved GOP either. They will be hand-in-hand with the democrat brothers passing more bailouts for big businesses and stimulus handouts to the needy masses.
I seriously think 1 year from now we’d be willing to give anything just to get back to today. It will be getting exponentially worse….. all by-design. The GOP won’t save us in Nov and Trump will never be allowed to get close to the oval office again. No way, no how.
God will!! Watch!!
June3:
there is an article in the Washington Post dated June2, acknowledging that the grid is capacity constrained and summer of blackouts awaits parts of the US
When this appears in WaPo, it’s significant.
Read David Blackmons’ essay on this article and this topic of which he is an expert:
https://blackmon.substack.com/p/today-in-energy-even-the-washington?r=9834u&s=r&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Beck was talking about this on the radio today and BTW he mentioned a story, crediting this website yesterday.
i bet quite a few of these talking heads on TV and radio peruse this website and its comments (or have their staffs monitor it). Most of these conservative sites are nothing but hysterical click-bait with stories as shallow as a birdbath. They flop around like a fish in the bottom of a boat from one thought to another with no cohesive viewpoint on anything. Makes most of what they comment on pretty useless in my book.
I appreciate the insight and the comment freedom on this site. Lots of good stuff here.
Zerohedge picks up some of Sundance’s posts. There is one up this evening.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/fbi-maintains-workspace-inside-democrat-law-firm-perkins-coie
Zerohedge is influential enough to have been canceled by Twit for a full year.
Hi V. I meant mention I heard the Beck credit to here as well. Glad you did.
Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine has had zero effect on the economy. BUT Washington D.C’s reaction to the Ukraine will devastate Europe and shrink the U.S. economy with exponential inflation.
Fools rush in…..
IMHO the liars in DC are merely using Ukraine as a convenient cover story & excuse in an attempt to hide the fact that they are deliberately and unilaterally causing these changes domestically independent of any small conflict in Ukraine.
This is the Green New Deal advocates’ wet dream and they are hell bent on implementing as much as possible before they are thrashed by a significant majority of the American electorate.
More like “Soilent Green” New Deal.
🙂
So stealing that ….
Them: Great news! We’re developing bionic legs that will be far superior to the ones you were born with. So, we’ll be amputating your legs next Tuesday to get you ready for this incredible, life-changing, miraculous advancement.
Me: So I get my new legs on Tuesday?
Them: Oh no. They won’t be ready for 15=20 years.
With rolling black outs expected this summer, how are they going to charge their electric cars?
When foreclosures sky rocket does this mean Old Joes buddy Larry (Rat) Fink and BlackRock can pick up some cheap real estate for their rental business?
they want us all riding bikes like the unwashed masses in China
And in the process, retired people and others that own their own homes will start taking out reverse mortgages just so they can survive, but will eventually lose their home. Then, they too “won’t own anything and ‘be happy’.”. Blackrock will be extremely happy.
oh if only we had an opposition party, if only if only if only
a real one, not just in name only
the government is committing crimes against it’s citizens; it is engaging in criminal activities. I just want to know how we can put them all on trial and pull them out of the offices they inhabit illegitimately, and put them in jail.
We do NOT have to obey unlawful orders. We do NOT have to allow them to crush us. We are in a war where they want to kill us, and we need to fight back just as dirty as they fight. They have to be eliminated.
Anyone know HOW we accomplish this?
In a democracy, you have an organized political party that fights for your views and policies.
That would be the GOP.
The left figured this out and eliminated that solution while leaving the facade of an opposition.
So that leaves civil war and hard boycott. Since we don’t have an opposition party and nobody is ready to start shooting, you either go hard boycott or you passively consent.
Cut your cable. Boycott Hollywood. Boycott sports. No Netflix. No donations to woke charities. No Disney or any theme parks. Shift your purchasing to punish woke corporations to any available alternative. If this was done by 80 million people, the effects would be enormous and painful for the left. It would break many of the woke corporations and collapse the funding of many woke charities. If we can’t even do this, anything else is just fantasy.
This. Go Galt. Buy nothing but essentials and as locally as possible. Buy nothing from the multinationals. Pull all your money but what you need to pay bills out of the banks. Get out of the stock market and bonds. Pay off all debt; sell your house and buy a much smaller house so you can drastically reduce expenses. Plant a garden, fruit trees and nut trees. Cut your income down as low as you can so you pay little or nothing in taxes.
It’s the only way I can see to fight back until the revolution starts 🤷♂️
That plan is not going to work. They will laugh in our face at any pathetic attempts at boycotting. The government will not allow any woke corporations to go under. Remember how Costco and Walmart were excluded from the great shutdown? If we do something, it has to be for all the marbles. The diamonds must be returned.
The Deagel report forecast that the US population would fall to 54million by 2025. If the Covid vaccine works as they want it to people will be dying in droves.
54 million Americans could be persuaded to relocate to a few select geographic areas of the country with moderate climates. If you live in Phoenix you won’t stay there without AC and fresh water you would relocate to where the government tells you to.
They will assure you with amenities like cold/hot running water, food, etc.
See the green energy is undoable under current conditions. If several million Americans are culled the green people think the solar panels, windmills and electric cars will work. They will dole out power, transportation, food, etc all based on their green policies for 50 million Americans. They will think it will work but it won’t.
Side note. I just had some electrical work done on my house. 80 feet of wire-$972.00
I had some HVAC work done two days ago the tech said if you need a commercial AC unit you ain’t getting one for several months.
Wait until you want some chicken for dinner and can’t get that.
Huh?
That report is mostly baloney; since the writer (a frenchman) apparently doesn’t know the difference between INcreases and DEcreases. Could be a typo but 4x in same article?
the infrastructure to support the replacement unreliables simply cannot be built as fast as they are wrecking the hydrocarbon supply chain, even it could actually be done at all
any rational being would have the switched-to technology in place before destroying the switched-from technology
TPTB will have to declare martial law to quell the food and gas riots
Which is why it must be intentional. A very disturbing thing to wrap your brain around.
The Green New Deal is great for growth –
it promotes the rampant growth of inflation.
The problem as I see it is allowing Presidents to issue ‘Executive Orders’ without Congress debates and voting… How are executive Orders even Legal in our Republic??? What’s the difference between Executive Orders and Dictatorship??? I realize Trump issued executive orders…However, that was to counter the previous executive orders from Obama…..I’ve followed Politics for a long while and Executive Orders were rarte if ever…Now it’s ‘over the top’ normal….So why the need for Congress????
An new Amendment that states executive orders only apply to the executive branch in the implementation of laws passed by congress; and, executive orders expire at the end of every Presidents term. That would go a long way to fixing a lot of problems.
If it’s worth renewing, the next administration will and it prevents outgoing Presidents from writing a slew of executive orders for pet projects they couldn’t get through congress.
Good thoughts.
while while we’re at it, add an Amendment banning Congress from passing off their authority to unelected bureaucrats
Additionally agencies shouldn’t have the power of issuing regulation not voted on by the congress.
“And it seems to me that my job as the President of the United States is to try to figure out — myself, as well — what is most needed to put people at ease and let them know there’s a way through this. There’s a way through this.
The world has never been here before. That sounds like hyperbole, but think about it. Think about it. This truly is one of those inflection points in history. All the pieces on the board are moving, both in terms of the — the relationships among and between nations, as well as the pieces about what employment future people have. How do we do this?
And so, this is a confusing time. But I promise — I promise the American people: I have one focus, “How do we give you some breathing room? How do we get you to the point where we take pressure off you so you can begin to get back to a degree of normality and we move to a different place?”
And this time when we move — and, by the way, everybody internationally uses “Build Back Better” now. When I used the phrase initially, people looked at me like, “Build Back Better?”
Well, what it means — we’re the only country in the world, gone through a crisis, to go through a crisis, and come out better than we were be- — before the crisis occurred. That’s building back better than it was before.
And so, this is a process. And I just — you know, we’re going to see. Take it every day, every moment at a — you know, one moment at a time.”
I really dislike the term “this is a process.”. With Marxists its all about the “process”. It’s built into Socialism. The only “end” to Socialism is Communism.
The vast majority of us ordinary citizens just cannot understand or refuse to accept that this is all by design – that the enemy of America is embedded deeply within.
Such a wholly corrupt system cannot, will not reform itself. It is going to have to get really ugly before enough of us are willing to turn on the bureaucrats and politicians who rule over us. Donkeys and elephants – it does not matter.
Jamie Dimon and Chase plus their Wall Street bros wanted all of this.
Chase has a yuge operation here in Columbus, OH. They’ll just lay some people off; it’s a minor detail to them.
They really don’t care that much
Slight crack today on energy. OPEC is boosting production by 650,000 bl a day.
You trust these #s? OPEC has a huge vested interest in limiting production. Skyrocketing oil prices are a huge incentive to bring more petroleum sources on line. This game has gone on since the 1970s. As usual, the news media lies.
Still need to refine it.
Then when it gets refined it gets shipped out to other countries to use and we go without.
Supply and demand.
No supply means huge cost for what little there is.
I hope their own constituents come for them with pitchforks. Unfortunately, they are probably too stupid. They probably think food and gas prices are astronomical because the NRA.
Never underestimate stupidity of democrat voters.
Will the last one to leave the insane asylum please turn the lights off.
Never mind as the lights will already be off by then.
This is not about a New Green Deal – it is only a mechanism to destroy us
and lead to One World Government. At this point, nothing can convince
me otherwise.
This is all way too scary….Roman Empire was one thing but this a take over of the whole world..
Citizens everywhere are sensing, if not outright understanding, that their governments are working against them.
We do not hear much here in the US about the protests going on elsewhere but they are happening.
The movement by the elites to try to put together their one silly one world order is just not working out, they are running into obstacle everywhere.
Their carefully laid plans are glitching, this does not mean that they will give up or that they will cause a lot of misery and chaos before they fail.
It does not mean that we should sit back and wait for them to fail without making our own effort to shut them down.
But don’t let their smug, self satisfied attitude scare you too much.
They are not in as much control as they want you to think, take heart and fight back.
Many of us are frightened but still fight on with hope for the future.
We are not alone.
Agree. It never has really been about the New Green Deal. Damned commies latch on to ANYTHING that might move their agenda forward. Easy enough to see this with our own eyes whenever the elites pushing climate change crap are such hypocrites.
They don’t care about the planet anymore than they care about other people.
The illegitimate administration is willing to destroy the most prosperous country on planet earth, to push a fantasy. Like saying, we don’t need a stove to cook, lets rub two sticks together and start a fire.
The illegitimate administration is willing to destroy the most prosperous country on planet earth…to gain totalitarian control over us. The green-fantasy narrative is just the convenient cover-story. These same ‘Smart Kids’ have known since the 1970’s that wind and solar do not operate with anything near the efficiencies required for what they claim. This is not new knowledge.
Or in other words when Pigs Fly–Oh wait I think Pigs do fly LOL…
The same guy who closed the accounts of Trump supporters who were trying to stop all of this? Please! Dimon is as much responsible for this as anyone.
Also, the man who took billions in TARP money and “paid it back” with more .gov money…
Think of every lefty objection to the American economy you have heard uttered for the past 50+ years. We don’t need to have so many choices. We don’t need so many different brands of corn flakes, hot dogs, cars, socks, TV’s, shoes, jeans, ink pens, on and on and on. Their idea of heaven has been one choice, one thing avalilabe, and they have been harping on it for 50 years. Well, they run the country and the economy now, and they are deliberately crashing the whole thing.
They are getting their way and they are deliberately killing retail. No more choices for YOU. And if you voice any objection whatsoever, they will George Bailey you, debank you, erase your very existence so you can’t even buy food. Trudeau jumped the gun and de-banked his opposition in Canada and was made to immediately reverse himself. Nearly gave the gaame away.
And when your local police are told to drag you screaming from your house, or to stand silently as you are being murdered, they will obey their orders without question.
Jamie Dimon trashed President Trump at every opportunity and gave millions of dollars to Biden and the Democrats. Are we supposed to believe that a smart guy like Dimon didn’t know what Biden was up too when Biden and the Democrats said exactly what they were going to do! Giving Dimon free publicity should be a felony!
Biden and Harris both told America exactly what they were gonna do before the election. Why are so many Democrats surprised that they carried out their threats to do away with fossil fuels in America? Are DNC voters really that stupid?
Do we the people get to vote on this NGD?
In the Wild West when there was no ‘Law and Order’ the vigilantes just removed all the bad guys.
Problem solved.
So, how are bad guys, those committing treason, removed?
!776 Justice sounds about right. Pigaloisi and Mitch do you hear this ?
In many western cities, the very rich have homes close to the downtown core.
The most affluent, in New York, live in Manhattan and mock the “bridge and tunnel” crowd who commute.
The town I know best is Toronto. Young professionals, who used to be called yuppies, now live in tiny condos in the downtown core. The rich live in neighborhoods with names like Rosedale and Forest Hill. These areas are amazingly close to the downtown business district. Are these bigshots paying for architecture or the lifeline of easy access to the business district (Bay Street) that will manifest very soon?
Who needs walls if the poor cannot afford the price of entering your neighborhood?
I urge you to structure your life around our new reality. For most of human history, people lived within a few square miles. The romanticizing of marrying the girl next door reflects the mundane truth that the girl next door was surely one of the few girls you ever met.
If you bought a house in the suburbs, and you spend several hours a week commuting, be aware that powerful forces are now aligned against you, and have been for some time. Obama has always loathed the suburbs, and Democrats in general know that the suburbs vote Republican. Save yourselves.
We live in an area of Greater Vancouver.
We bought in a lovely Oceanside community over thirty years ago.
We were laughed at..as the city was where it was at.
We can walk anywhere that is important.
We sold a small flat in the downtown last year and made a few bucks..because the downtown although convenient is a dump.
Even the wealthy on the Westside are getting frustrated.
Small amounts of hard drugs have now become legal to have in one’s possession here in B.C. Yikes!
The big city ( I worked there for over thirty years) is truly sh*t.
IMO if possible work for less if necessary.
Commuting costs, taxes, fees, special levies etc. have for now destroyed many an individuals incentive.
Hey, our grandfather raised us. He never drove, never owned a car.
Walked the two minutes to the harbour and his commercial fish boat.
Walked to the “ bookies” the pub, and left the town only a handful of times in his life.
He was, and is still my hero. I am doing my best in this modern world to emulate him.
He died fifty years ago..
F*#k all these institutions.
Cheers!
Interesting here in our community the more well to do people live out in the country on several acres.
The less wealthy live in town on small lots, close together.
As soon as people can afford to do so they move out of town.
FJB and his evil administration
What we have here is quantitative money laundering.
The Green Raw Deal. Thanks Joe.
Regardless of the “spin”, Biden’s “Transition” will result in Venezuela like conditions.
Intermittent power can NEVER supply an industrialized national grid. People who think that it can are ignorant of grid scale power requirements for generation, dispatch, transmission, distribution, and control.
This isn’t going to be a Hurricane. It will be like Armageddon. A Hurricane is over in 3 days, and reconstruction finished in a year or two. The Green Farce will take decades to recover from and the social and economic damages done are incalculable.
Nobody who understands economics, national security, grid scale power, and social cohesion, wants to go down this road.
If they actually do this, it will result in poverty, famine, civil war, and economic collapse. This is the stupidest idea to come out of Govt in a century.
The ‘recovery’ phase from this thing will be just like the recovery managed for the Ukraine by that other Uncle Joe, c.1930s. And for the same reasons.
Why cant states that have oil and refineries, start producing as much as they can and only sell in their state? Then, what’s stopping mom and pops in SC from buying from them? Also, I’m restoring a 78 f250 custom 4×4 with a naturally aspirated 400 that will probably be banned before I have a chance drive it.
On cue everybody is predicting now what we all knew was going to happen a long time ago. Like we’re not all stupid.
No One in the middle class will be able to afford an electric car, and no-one in the middle class will be able to afford the cost of gas. This means major unemployment. When Ford Motor Company, manufacturing for example, shuts down from the lack of sales. This will mean all the downstream part suppliers will shut down too. Folks, you are about to see millions of people out of work. If the above comes to pass.
Millions of people out of work, means more crime. And, many of these people will be hungry.
That’s okay.
They will send you to the mines in frozen Alaska to serve in the Gulags.
Free labour until you die.
Can or will republicans ‘reverse this transition’, back to fossil fuels in 2025?
The means of defense against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Throughout all Europe, the [well fed] armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people.
– James Madison (“The Father of the United States Constitution”)
Honestly the starving populations of Europe were the most scary.
The starving peasants of Paris were the ones who FINALLY stormed the Bastille, took the weapons and then went to the palace and took out King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antionette.
They put up with starvation, unemployment, no housing, disease until they just could not take it any more and with their bare hands overthrew the Bastille where the government soldiers kept the weapons.
This is more the rule than the exception, China has a similar story where the starving peasant revolted over and over again after famine.
The starving hordes will rise up on the brink of death and literally tear the wealthy apart forcing them to go on the run for their lives.
The peasants will loot the homes and store houses of the wealthy taking every single thing, including stuff nailed down.
Don’t believe the stories about a starving population being an easy population to control.
A starving population is one with nothing to lose and they will fight to the death for a stale piece of bread.
A government who has to control its population by the gun will eventually fall, every single time.
When you transition from something (this big) you would expect there would be two things, “out with the old” AND “in with the new”. Where is the evidence that they are producing any infrastructure to support this green energy? There is none, I am an OTR trucker and see few if any wind mill parts/blades being hauled anywhere. Those parts by the way are being made in China!
And shipped here on large ships powered by gas turbines or oil.
