Pennsylvania Senate Candidate Kathy Barnette appeared on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream to answer questions about her prior positions, statements and current candidacy. Barnette has climbed in the polls and is in a tight race for the PA senate seat.
There has been an onslaught of criticism and critique in opposition to Kathy Barnette. Many political followers are concerned she might win the primary but then get crushed in the general election due to inflammatory statements in her past. This interview was a great opportunity for her to calm the nerves of republican primary voters and instill confidence. Unfortunately, Barnette did not do well in this interview. WATCH:
Shannon Bream was fair and gave Barnette plenty of time to explain her positions. Pennsylvania voters will need to make their own decisions. Trust your instincts; if you sense sketchy, it is likely because sketchy exists.

Dr. Oz checks all the wrong boxes, what a mess. I don’t want to Roy Moore anyone from PA now on who to choose, I’m glad I don’t have that choice but it may affect us all, just like Romney et.al. It’s just too bad. I thought she was it but she may have a hard time in the general with this kind of an explanation.

As a PA resident, I absolutely CANNOT vote for Dr. Oz.
He stands for everything I am against, and I refuse to sell my soul just because someone (anyone) tells me I must vote for a particular candidate over another.
I am voting for Kathy Barnette for U.S. Senate — and Doug Mastriano for PA Governor.

This leads me to believe he is *truly* getting bad info. And worse th/ that, is not paying attention to FACTS.
I thought he was upset about the Muslim/gay tweets – and can see his point there- but he actually believes some of the other outright BS that’s circulating about her.
And Trump-more th/ anyone out there- should not fall for an outright smear. God knows he’s been the victim of that millions of times.

Got a robocall from Pres Trump tonight telling us to vote for Mastriano and Oz. He went further telling us that Barnette recommended a statue of Obama be built. I’m disappointed in the Don. If he doesn’t like Barnette he can say so but mentioning that statue thing out of context is somewhat deceptive.
Many do NOT want a statue of that guy anywhere , except maybe at the gates of Gitmo.
