Presenters at the indulgent echo-chamber festival known as the White House Correspondents Dinner made the claim that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was in attendance, he wasn’t. However, the false claims only served to solidify why most Americans do not trust the media.

When all else fails, blame DeSantis for his timing to be suspect! Seems suspicious to me that at this time, at time so close to the event itself, that there must have been an ulterior motive revolving around the timing of his press conference. The matter is further suspect because this has all the earmarks of a Putin style attack on US media. 17 media personalities have also reported experiencing tingles whenever in the presence of Desantis.
They really need to pick a new target, DeSantis owns them.

The obviously unconstitutional #MinistryOfTruth has only one viable avenue for controlling speech — reliance on the Chevron doctrine. The Chevron doctrine stands for the proposition that courts will defer to an agency’s interpretation of its own regulations and policies. Everyone needs to understand this doctrine and be prepared to put relentless pressure on all politicians to enact legislation to limit this agency deference. Although the new truth ministry is prima facia unconstitutional, they will no doubt argue that their regulations should pass constitutional muster because their particular expertise leads them to conclude that they are within the boundaries of permitted oversight.
