Fox News’ Tucker Carlson previewed a discussion with Glenn Greenwald that will appear in full tomorrow on Fox Nation. In this segment {Direct Rumble Link Here} Greenwald gives his perspective on the motives of Elon Musk purchasing Twitter.
Greenwald does a good job encapsulating the essential support most feel for the Musk effort. There are many people still uncertain about how this will all roll out, and Musk has been favorable to Big Govt in his two most famous endeavors, Tesla and SpaceX. Elon Musk’s phase of pushing back against speech and internet control is more recent, and as a result has left many people wondering about it.
As Greenwald notes, there really isn’t a downside for people who are trying to break the totalitarian and monopoly control systems on the internet. The upside benefits to on-line freedom, debate, discussion and the first real effort to stop internet censorship are well worth supporting. Greenwald eloquently puts an appropriate context to the battle. WATCH:
I think one of the big problems that major forces will have against Musk is that he’s essentially the golden child of their climate change religion. By going after him, it really puts themselves in a bind over electric vehicles/green energy/etc. And if they lose that control mechanism? Well, their religion dies with it. It cannot standup to dissent if it’s allowed. This fight is a major paradox for these forces.
If he’s the “golden child” of the “climate change religion,” then why did he recently call for the US oil/gas energy industry to be fully restored after the current illegitimate administration has all but destroyed it?
Free markets have an efficient way to display and innovate in regard employment of transport devices and energy sources.
If the idea of a clean environment and the most efficient technology for transportation are removed from the cult religion of climate change, many desirable innovations ae possible. Both electric vehicles and internal combustion powered devices have a valuable place and the market place will sort out the the most desirable vehicles if the buying public are permitted to vote with their pocket book.
I agree with your take on the market place deciding what will succeed. So far,in my view, the EV market is broken down into 2 categories, 1. True believers of any age, these are the people who buy the entry level model clown car you see on the interstate struggling to reach and stay at 60mph. These people believe they are making a difference. They are not. 2.Wealthy middle age people who want a status symbol and a new toy, these are the people who are laying out upwards of $90,000 for a new BMW that goes 300 miles and needs a 12 hour charge. These people can afford the novelty. Neither of these groups buy enough of these things to make any difference in the marketplace. Despite the full on ad blitz by the media and this bullsh!t government, very few people want this product.
“..very few people want this product.” That is why their Great Reset is not framed as a “choice.” We don’t get to choose anything.
And that is the crux of the problem with their Great Reset: It all boils down to either genocide or enslavement.
Try driving from the east coast to the west coast in 2 or 3 days before mom or dad or granny or grand pappy dies.
No plane or train or bus rides for those who own EVs either.
Or, how about after driving 280 mi in your 300 mi range EV, hitting gridlock for three or more hours in 98° heat/95% humidity, with your 90 yr old grandmother sitting next to you.
Also, remember there are a lot of young (and even not-so-young) leftists who like their gas powered rice burners and low-end sports cars that make lots of noise so they feel like they’re finally being noticed. Anyone living in urban areas can attest to this, especially if you’re in a state that’s been invaded by California. Getting them to suddenly switch to electric isn’t going to happen.
But our now nearly communist “government” is working toward preventing free market enterprise.
Which is maybe why Elon Musk is now (apparently) actively working on securing free speech? It also may be why he also spoke strongly against his apparent self interest by insisting we need to INCREASE our petroleum production. He sounds much more like a free market pragmatist than a climate change priest.
Did he build Tesla because he believed all of the climate lies or because he realized there was an opportunity there to make a product to fill a growing desire? Don’t forget we engineers love cool gadgets as toys. We engineers are actual scientists as well who study physics and apply it to solve problems. As a result we are less likely to accept faux science at face value. You know like climate ” science” or the Darwinnian nonsense of man’s origin.
You answered your own question. He was a double major genius. Business and Engineering degrees. Great combo
sorry Mark, Science and scientists are a mid 19th century words. Engineers have been around for maybe 12000 years erecting buildings, smelting metals (starting with lead, then copper etc), tanning leather, baking bricks and pottery, making soaps, olive oil, wine,, vinegar, building ships, making weapons,, supplying water (Roman aquaducts), making roads, mining ores, discovering electricity and magnetism, building steam engines, motor cars, making cement & concrete, iron & steel, making hospital equipment such as CAT scanners, ultrasound etc. Thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, process control are engineering subjects which scientists do not understand. Physics and chemistry were developed by engineers and are early simplified training subjects. Some engineers innovate, discover new products & ideas but it is engineers that actually put ideas into practice. Electric cars were around 120years ago and windmills were being used 2200 years ago, both have nothing to do with scientists.
While I agree that engineers are interested in building things that actually work while scientists in the hallowed halls of academia tend to focus on the theoretical, your statement is an over simplification.
A century ago a brilliant physicist, Hendrik van der Bijl, began and set up an efficient electricity network in South Africa and also the steel industry in that country.
Nearly a century earlier Michael Faraday, one of England’s greatest scientists, became a Professor of Chemistry and did extraordinary work in the field of electromagnetism.
Unfortunately today there are too many scientists and engineers who do not have a proper appreciation history and knowlege of the contributions of men like these.
Hear, hear!
We can quibble over semantics and titles but I agree with Mark, engineers certainly are scientists.. but that really wasn’t the point. We don’t know how devoted to climate theology Elon Musk is, but we do know that he loves technology and is visionary when it comes to translating pure science into built things that work. There’s nothing wrong with building electric cars whatever degree you believe in the religion that motivates many of its consumers.
Second that
Hi Mark. My take on this is that at its inception, Musk built Tesla because he believed that government would parallel his effort for an alternative to petroleum fueled vehicles with the infrastructure changes to accommodate the Tesla, or any other alternative energy vehicle. I suspect he envisioned charging stations on every major highway and street corner et al. I think he is now on a revenge mission which is one of the reasons he is implementing buy-outs and major changes to the social media industry at the present time. I think he feels betrayed and billions be danged, he is going to make his point. I have been on the Tokyo bullet trains that go 200 mph and you cannot feel a thing. 30 years ago I wrote to congress people saying we needed North to South, coast to coast bullet trains. I would get back letters saying, “Thank you for your concern blah, blah, blah.” Our infrastructure changes needed to have started 30 or 40 years ago in order to accommodate what Musk had envisioned but the politicians are bought off by oil. Now they want to go green without a green infrastructure which takes a generation, at least, to become reality. I would say that the economic destruction we are now seeing selected ‘leaders’ pursuing is planned, but the real truth is that their plan is not working because of a lack of planning that needed to start decades ago. The American people are just now waking up to how much treasure has been stolen from us for decades. I think Musk has had this wake up call also, at least to some extent. The governments challenge now is that they messed with the wrong rich guy.
And Vaccine science.
That ain’t science, that is greed and corruption.
As an engineer I can identify with that comment. As a college student I thought that solar equipped homes, earth sheltered design, etc, were cool as response to the Carter-era energy crisis, not global warming/ cooling (?) per se. I still think the underlying theology of climate change is bunk, but can appreciate the advances in technology we’ve made as a result. For example, LED lighting is radically better and more efficient than incandescent regardless of its original motivation.
Our LED bulbs are supposed to last a long long time, but our household doesn’t have that kind of service from them. It seems we are always replacing one.
Elon’s motivations are simple. He is a martian, and he just wants to go home. 🙂 Space-X is for the Starships, and Starlink helps pay for it all. But once you get there, you need to get around, so Boring and Tesla. It all makes perfect sense. Or didn’t you notice that there is a Tesla out near Mars?
Exactly, bout the only I disagree with Musk on is “global warming” (there’s other stuff but not in the political landscape); however, I agree with his position on energy: he believes nuclear is a necessary component in our future grid, we still need cheap oil, and that the US should be energy independent.
I disagree with the statement that Space X and Tesla were about “big government”. He’s constantly fighting government. He had to fight “big space” to get Space X where it is, he thought it was ludicrous that the shuttle program was killed with no alternative to get Americans into space. “Big auto” has fought Tesla since day 1. The NHTSA and big auto hate that Tesla can just update their vehicles over-the-air (OTA) and most “recalls” are fixed long before the government issues a recall notice. In fact, OK is pushing a bill right now that would require “dealerships” for car sales and service. Tesla, as the manufacturer, wouldn’t be able to sale directly to OK residents or run their service centers – the manufacturer couldn’t run a service center (surprise one of the bill’s authors has family that owns dealerships), and this would most likely prevent OK residents from receiving OTA updates.
The government, through big auto lobbying, hates Tesla and EV startups. Big space hates Space X.
Well said.
Early this morning SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Crew Dragon spacecraft with four astronauts up to the International Space Station. This was the fourth mission for the first stage booster which returned safely once landing on the droneship in the Atlantic. This will be checked out and refurbished for another mission when needed. The Dragon is also infinitely reusable!
This means that NASA is getting just about the lowest-priced deal that any space agency could possibly get. Also, SpaceX pays NASA for constant weather forecasts from its orbiting assets in order to check out any potential problems in the countdown to launch that may cause a delay, and also to plan re-entry burns for the rocket and spacecraft to delay reentry and/or change the landing zone.
Nobody has the capabilities, vast experience, and low-cost economics of SpaceX. It is unique in the world!
Don’t forget about Starlink, his satellite communications system which allows internet access at any point around the globe including while you fly. It prevented Putin from cutting off communications within Ukraine during the war. This is global free speech without fascist interference. Musk may be the world’s Thomas Jefferson/James Madison, in a quirky sort of way.
Actually Elon Musk more closely resembles that 20th century aviation icon, Howard Hughes and he exhibits some of the same eccentric behaviour.
Hughes was also both an engineer and entrepreneur and built a formidable company Hughes Aircraft which SpaceX resembles in many ways in both company culture and engineering innovations.
Musk, like Hughes didn’t confine himself to a single industry but branched out which made him a threat to the status quo in the 1920s-1940s, same as Musk is a threat to the status quo today.
Excellent point.
I see Musk as someone who merely enjoys the challenge of brainstorming and marketing brand-new technologies. Communists and fascists steal brainpower and stifle it in the process, because innovative ideas have already been bred out of their browbeaten population.
It must be so incredibly frustrating for a genius like Musk to chafe under the auspices of a woke, know-it-all ‘bureaucrat army’ that shuts down all rational discussion, just because they CAN.
Well.. now they CAN’T shut it down.
Let those purple-haired losers cry bitterly into their Starbucks while pondering the fact that there IS intelligent life in the universe after all, and they cannot control it. What “scares” them most is the realization that they are just a bunch of stupid idiots who now need to sit down and shut UP.
The loss of relevance is what they fear, second only to loss of control.
So then, for Elon Musk it has been a “go along to get along” with our despicable Federal Government.
You omitted these words … Auto UNIONS.
there, I fixed it for you. UNIONISTA’s detest Musk. Oh! And lazy black workers hate him too. And sue him regularly … for a workplace “hostile to blacks”. Not so much any lawsuits from “white” or Asian workers. Facepalm. SOS
And Bozoz was only in the game to get a name. Not really serious, nor an engineer.
Because he needs fossil fuels to mine the hell out of the plant for his EV’s
To your point. Solar, Wind and EV are hardly green technologies.
A single Tesla battery weighing 1,000 pounds requires extracting and processing some 500,000 pounds of materials. At this rate, over the next thirty years we will need to mine more mineral ores than humans have extracted over the last 70,000 years.
Good site with great facts from a mining expert.
John Lee Pettimore on Twitter: “A single Tesla battery weighing 1,000 pounds requires extracting and processing some 500,000 pounds of materials. At this rate, over the next thirty years we will need to mine more mineral ores than humans have extracted over the last 70,000 years. #GreenEnergy https://t.co/4FXcYHlSFt” / Twitter
I’m still driving my 1991 fine Bavarian automobile. Now who is more “green”? Me? For “recycling” an automobile far past it “expiration” date? Or your 500k # Tesla rolling toxic waste dump? I’ll wait while your brain synapses attempt to function more reliably than a “self-driving” Tesla.
HOWEVER
Despite my Tesla bitterness *smirk* … I cheer Musk’s purchase of Twitter and expressed desire to restore Free Speech on the platform
Still in my 2006 Japanese Suzuki.
Yeah!! Freedom of speech represents freedom of choice and that’s really what our side desires—the freedom to live out our lives without a gun to our heads. America can be amazing, we know that, and the world could be just a truly awesome place to bide awhile, working hard, inventing cool stuff, eating well, building families and communities—NOT living as silent slaves/cannon fodder for the degrading pleasure of a few rich men.
Elon Musk’s motivations are between him and God, so when he does something that aligns with THE GOOD….I salute him!!
Daily drive a 1965 VW Westfalia bus here. I wonder how many of the cars on the lot today will still be going in 2079.
Wait until these batteries are no longer useful and must be recycled. Batteries are not the answer as you will eventually be recycling trillions of batteries a year
If we were recycling them.
The technology is still aborning, fitfully and slowly.
With seemingly little commitment yet that no battery will ever go to a landfill.
Well, if it’s a “plant”, we could just cultivate more of them.
He misspelled planet, but I actually do agree, we should indeed be cultivating other planets, as a home for humans and for the immense resources in our solar system.
There are too many crabs in this bucket.
Because he’s bright enough to know that we don’t have worldwide sustainable alternate technology, that it’s still many generations away, and that clean burning coal and efficient oil use is already available without which desperate people will cut down forests to burn instead.
Arbor Day is on Friday, predating Earth Day by a few hundred years as many cultures have understood the restorative power of tree planting.
Why? Perhaps because he understands that so-called “renewables” require traditional backup…you know, when the wind doesn’t blow… or the sun doesn’t shine… the wind and solar boondoggles don’t produce. Our power grid needs constancy.
He also knows that we couldn’t possibly transition to a “cleaner” system by destroying this one well before the new one is created and proven.
Because he’s a liar and hypocrite, celebrity whore. He goes where the winds go. He sees the support of Trump, and realizes that he can still be the celebrity, but with a new, larger, support team.
So he started changing his stripes and decided to play up to sucker the so-called ‘right’.
Sad to see so many on the right are now willing to transfer their idol-worship from Trump to Stinky. Trump was a con man, and still is, and stinky is right there with him.
The conned would be you. Even after 40 years of the same careerists you still believe they are an option. It’s doesn’t get any more conned than that. There are no angels, the one alternative is to seend Trump to DC.
“They just don’t get it, do they?” PDJT
Lost your place on Twitter?
Best reply! Thanks.
I see you leftists are really triggered by the “threat” of free speech. You coin the worn out lies about “Trump the con man” Sorry pal but hopefully these censored days of speech being squelched are a threat to people like you.
Even if what you say is true – it’s still good if he institutes free speech on Twitter.
It’s better to have a con man that does what you want than some saint who does the opposite.
Same with Trump. He actually advanced the conservative agenda somewhat, tried to advance it far more than any GOP politician ever has (except maybe Reagan), and exposed the GOP and “conservatism, inc.” for what it really is – which is a leftist organization supporting leftist causes.
So, I’m happy to be conned. Your bitterness reveals that you must not want anything conservative to actually ever happen. Much like the Mitt Romney’s of the world.
There there, free speech on Twit won’t be so bad.
You and Brian Stelter may actually like it!
How many ballots did you ‘stuff’ for the imbecile now in the White House? Are you capable enough to drive a vehicle? Do you pay for your own gasoline? Heating bills? Food? You are the ‘conned’ one.
When the “heart” is darkened by emotional poisons, an “observer” is unable to see accurately.
Naturally, this prevents the “observer” from making reality based assessments.
How can someone tell whether emotional poisons have shut an “observer”s heart lights are off, leaving them in the dark? By their words.
Interestingly, when cut off from reality, either by emotional poisons, alcohol or drugs, the impaired ” observer” typically feels more perceptive than usual.
However, in fact, the “observer”s brain is actually just “making things up” from “old tapes” to fill in the sensory gaps created by the emo, alcohol or drug induced “blindness” to the real world.
When the emotional poisons are gone, sobriety returns and the higher brains functions that were off line, come back on. The “observer” is reconnected to their present reality.
Let there be Light! Said Love.😘
His cars are assembled with parts that are created using petroleum by products
The whole worlds products are
The climate hoax zealots are really stupid and walking contradictions
You know you just touched on something that never gets talked about. An awful lot of the everyday products we use are made from petroleum products! I haven’t heard one person except for you that has even mentioned that fact. I thank you for that.
In fact the very keyboard I’m typing on was made by petroleum products. LOL! And yes they are zealots.
We discussed the vital nature of petroleum to production and manufacture quite a bit here on CTH in the early PDJT years, but I do agree, it is an underappreciated reality amongst the rodents of the utopia project.
Because he knows that his Musk-mobile’s cannot run on Unicorn Farts, Magical Leprechaun Dust or Liberal Tears.
Because he actually understands the business.
There is no more efficient way to create the product he needs -electricity- that will make his business successful. Using fossil fuels lowers the cost of electricity and that makes his electric vehicles more attractive.
Don’t over complicate it. He is a huge advocate of KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid.
Yeah the coupers sure screwed us up
As in “dealers”?
Maybe the “golden child” has experienced, or is beginning to experience, a conversion? Stranger things have happened – eg. consider Saul on the road to Damascus (not saying anything about Musk’s spirituality) – and it is certainly possible Elon is beginning to grasp the impact squashing individual liberty has on future human visionary thought. Tyrants really don’t care if you are the richest man in the world (or President of the United States), they will crush you if they can. The golden boy may have recently woke up (in a good way) to that realization.
My opinion … the greenie weenies presumed the Tesla guy was 100% greenie weenie too – now this Twitter thing … and HORRORS … maybe free speech?!?!!
The liberal whack-job RATS are freaking out, cancelling their Twit accounts and maybe hiding their Tesla’s … in case the SpaceX guy supports fossil fuels, too !
Elon Musk is very practical and made it clear that given the circumstances with govt. stance on no Russian oil USA 🇺🇸 had to at least temporarily tap into their ability to fill that gap so the supply chain and cost issues would not have catastrophic consequences.
Elon Musk said as much as he hated to go there it made sense to do it.
That does not contradict Musk’s long term view and or goals regarding oil gas energy.
In fact what it does reflect is a practical man that does support climate change beliefs but, is not a fanatic.
I read that Musk has always enjoyed the development of electric and battery vehicles, however, he stated most recently that he does not believe that full electric or battery and complete undoing of oil and gas is unrealistic and impossible.
He also stated that electric vehicles and other electric and battery goods are “not for everyone”
Well, I clearly believe that last statement
That said, I wonder how many flaming Tesla liberals are selling their car this week-end.
It takes the oil and gas industry to make all the green energy products and to run them
His comments are on record… They were to the effect that solar, batteries, etc. Cannot possibly replace gas/oil… Which is completely true.
Well … Govt.Motors can start selling more than 25 Chevy Bolts per year … ? That may help the Govt. wean itself off Musk?
Snerk! 😆
He is an opportunist. He makes money by duping governments into paying for his product. I’m trying to see his angle on Twitter. And maybe he is a visionary of sorts, Tesla was.
My thought is we live in a season, a season of discovery or revealing evil where it is hidden. Elon seems to fit in that category. EV’s are not a decent option as is, they waste and cost too much. Twitter is a propaganda tool, it has been revealed. But, Musk is getting rich on the liars back. It’s somewhat poetic justice. “The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just.”
Isnt musk from Africa just as Obama?
What do y’all think will happen to Trump’s lawsuit against twitter?
Don’t know but I remember hearing\reading back when Musk’s was making his move to take over Twitter that he would NOT let Trump back on Twitter. If Musk means that…… well so much for his restoring the freedom of speech stuff. Do not trust this fella he is a Fake just like the rest of them.
I got my eyes opened to Musk back when those boys and their leaders got trapped in a flooded cave in eastern Asia and Musk did his slight of hand magician distraction of saying he would bring in his mini sub to rescue them. But the map put up by the Scuba team’s leader showed that the mini sub could not get in to rescue the boys. Those twists and turns were an already tight fit for one person with scuba gear to navigate through so a mini sub was too big to use.
Well Musk got his feelings hurt by the truth and he slandered the scuba team leader by saying the leader was a pedophile who liked little boys. The leader challenged Musk and threatened to take him to court. Musk backed down.
This all happened when Musk was going through some tough times on his stock and with his electric car and it’s batteries. Musk used the tragic situation to score some good press. What a complete Weasel.
Don’t know where you heard or read that Musk resolved to not allow PDJT back on Twitter. I never read that anywhere. Can you provide a link? I have searched for such a statement by Musk and cannot find one. Only find lots of news articles/commentary about Trump saying he won’t come back even if Musk removes all censorship.
Musk would not be able to forcibly (censor) keep President Trump off Twitter and still claim that he (Musk) advocates for free speech. Censoring Trump would make Musk’s entire campaign to buy Twitter a mockery and a fraud.
Nothing, ya’all…
JMO,
Mr. Musk is the reincarnation of “Mr. Oskar Schindler, a 1945 German Industrialist.”
Mr. Musk’s sole purpose is to expose and destroy the the Achilles’ heel of the globalists, their massive “databases”……..Occam’s razor.
Globalists can’t control you without their massive “databases.” Without their databases, they are just a small group of rich commies sitting around in their gated villas counting their ill-gotten gains.
Pull the plug on the globalists/ coup plotter’s massive databases and set the world free……. it is that simple…… it is the Achilles’ heel of the globalists and the coup plotters, both foreign and domestic……… including the alpha deep swamp.
Mr. Musk, who deep down inside is a freedom-loving individual, recognizes the globalists as a destructive force for freedom. Just as Mr. Schindler recognized the Nazis as a destructive force.
He knows that the evil globalists can’t exist without the massive databases and by the same token the freedom-loving individuals of the world can’t live with the massive databases.
Mr. Musk is the “2022 version of Mr. Oskar Schindler, a German Industrialist who saved mostly Polish-Jewish refugees from the Nazis’ holocaust.”
His purpose is to expose and to “make null” the massive, subterranean globalist inspired databases, freeing mankind from the clutches of the communists / nazis, once again.
He is the effective, time-tested, unstoppable crack in the globalist’s dam wall …….
“Let’s go Brandon!”
Correct me if I’m wrong but I read somewhere that Musk was/is one of those globalist’s you talk about.
I understood he was a member in good standing with the WEF.
Apologies for not posting a link as it was months ago when I read that.
In 1945, Mr. Schindler was a Nazi Party member and produced their ammo, albeit faulty …… to survive.
That gave him an important insight into their evil minds and methods.
Mr. Musk, a globalists and in good standing with the WEF, fits the mold.
Ralf, just a suggestion, I wouldn’t be downstream of the globalist’s dam.
Cactus thank you 🙏 for this.
I agree Elon Musk has had enough and not only doesn’t want to attend their gatherings but burn it down as well!
Either he is one of the greatest actors I’ve ever seen or Elon Musk is a unique, caring, trailblazer that will play a huge role in taking these monsters down.
Many at CTH always say President Trump was sent by God, well why not Elon Musk as well!.?
Its not a competition we need President Trump, Governor DeSantis, Elon Musk, Sundance and obviously so many more including us because big or small we are all contributing by brainstorming and bonding against those that want to ruin our country and world.
Vladimir Putin was a member in good standing with the WEF until 2012, when he decided he didn’t want to play their game any longer.
Being a member of the WEF automatically raises suspicions but in itself isn’t enough proof of where he stands.
Personally I don’t believe Musk is either a black hat or a white hat, he’s an eccentric independent who follows his own rules and uses opportunities when they present themselves.
Remember he has a good relationship with the Chinese government which George Soros has been condemning as a threat to civilization.
Musk is on his own side, that’s the only thing I can reasonably conclude.
Soros- “Look over there! Not over here, at me and my cronies.”
Agree.
Don’t know what Musk is up to or what is REAL agenda is with Twitter but it is NOT to restore Free Speech. Musk said at the early stages of this takeover that he would NOT allow Trump back on Twitter…….. so much for restoring free speech.
He is as much of a Fake as the rest of the globalists.
Musk said no such thing regarding PDJT.
PDJT himself said he would not be going back on Twitter.
For the record, he also called Elon a good man and wished him well with his new project.
Space is the new frontier. I think these plutocrats and oligarchs are not quite seeing the big picture here, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.
L👀k up 👆🏻
Those who deign to not just shape (ala Twitter and media) but actually *steal* our minds and our thoughts, via mRNA gene edits, are flirting with Lucifer.
That will just not fly. God is way ahead of them.
If Sundance’s previous article about how Twitter works, what servers it uses, etc., is correct, then it appears that all that needs to be done is for the US government to refuse to allow Twitter to continue to use US servers. Whether Musk has the capability to replace those servers is an unknown to me. It’s also unknown whether he has any intention of making Twitter profitable. So, this will be interesting…..
Not as easily done as said. To do so would openly admit a previously open secret.
The Wolf in grandma’s bedclothes has bared his canines at Little Red Riding Hood. The secret’s already out.
I didn’t see this mentioned in the comments but thought it was worthy of thought.
Elon has autism, my son (just turned 17) also has autism. Underneath the autism quirks is amazing people, brilliant in every way. Our son tested so high after 10th grade till he is off to college full time in the fall.
They do not think like us at all. Our son wants to be a MacroEconomist in Tanzania to fix their country. He can tell you every tiny tidbit of info on that subject, what needs fixed etc…. Autistic (high level) is amazing to watch.
It isn’t likely that we will understand the why’s of all of this unless Elon chooses to explain.
Thank you for posting.
‘It isn’t likely that we will understand the why’s of all of this unless Elon chooses to explain.’
It would be interesting to understand his one main goal in his life.
Going out there….
What if everything he creates is just a byproduct of his goal? 🤔
Electric cars – byproduct
Supplying NASA what it needs – byproduct
Satellite internet – byproduct
Free speech / Twitter – byproduct
I dunno, sometimes they adjust and narrow their goals. Our son can not explain why on anything. He simply knows it and wants to do it.
Isn’t autism in geniuses called Asperger’s syndrome, or is that the term more narrowly applied?
Anyone (especially a young person from a wealthy family) who spends three years on the production floor with his people to keep the company alive deserves respect. In his latest interview he said he slept on the floor. He wanted his people to know he was as dedicated as they were.
Add to that his response to Ukraine’s request for internet support. He didn’t have to do that. These actions speak to sincerity. I think we need to give the benefit of the doubt and hope he is successful.
Entirely agree with you.
Call me cynical but I think this Musk-Buying-Twitter story is a false flag to divert interest away from the real free speech platform…
TRUTH SOCIAL.
Just curious how Musk became interested in Twitter as soon as it was announced that Truth Social is coming…
Get back with us when Trump makes his first post.
Right now any post on Truth Social by Trump would only be to Apple phones. Remember the secret to social media is room on servers. It takes a while to build them and get the programming correct.
Trump doesn’t have access to the NSA servers like FB and Twitter!
Too right, my friend. Where is Julian Assange when we need him?
Or when TS is as widely and freely available to all to read, like Twit is right now.
If TS is a valid site, it will be fully able to handle the competition.
FB, Twit, etc. etc., numerous sites co-existed.
What makes you think that TS- if it’s viable- will need to wipe out all competition just to survive?
Truth Social due to its very nature is an echo chamber. It’s preaching to the choir. If you want to win hearts and minds you have to go where they are – Twitter, Facebook, etc. You are not going to defeat their agenda by making arguments just to people who agree with you. It was to be done by blowing holes in the ridiculous arguments and statements made by their leaders. For example, Bezos isn’t going on TS and implying the chinese own Musk and now will own Twitter like he just did on Twitter and we’d never have the opportunity to point out to the world that he censors on Amazon for China and is paid by the Chinese to publish their propaganda in Wapo. That one Tweet by Bezos did him a lot of damage because the Left couldn’t avoid seeing the truth even for just a minute.
All truth. although I still want to support all the alternative conservative outlets, so I do.
Elon has a captured Tweet demonstrating interest in buying Twitter in 2017.
It has nothing to do with TruthSocial.
Hella stupid expensive and ridiculously complex scheme if it did though . . .
Elon just tweeted out a screenshot of Iphones app store readout:
#1 Truth Social
#2 Twitter
Perhaps Elons tweet isn’t trying to “divert attention away from…..TRUTH SOCIAL”?
Was Elon trying to connect with Trump, a fellow madlad creative genius/ kindred spirit? Don’t know.
As President Trump wisely says, ” lets see what happens”!!!
Bottom line, Im loving the Elon subplot in Trumps 24/7, interactive, reality movie.
Thankfully its inspired me to pray for the quirky genius President Trump told us we should all treasure and protect.
God bless Elon. And God bless President Trump.
Consider me skeptical but intrigued. If the 4th Branch did not want Elon to buy Twitter, Elon would not have made it this far. My guess is that the Establishment no longer has much use for its woke minions because they are pushing far too many people into the Resistance . Elon is just leading the cleanup crew.
I don’t think they did, Elon has said it’s not about the economics of the deal. No one else would buy Twitter for way more than it’s worth. Do you think all those talking heads came to their own decision to be upset about this? Of course not, they were told it’s bad by the same 4th branch that said PDJT was bad.
Elon presented an offer they couldn’t turn down without major legal ramifications. He essentially bullied his way to purchase it by offering way more than the company is worth to anyone who”d want to buy low, sell high. Money means nothing to Elon.
agree. The 4B hates exposure and they’ve been getting way too much of it. Waylaying Mr. Musk in his high profile acquisition, even using their tried and true proxies and cutouts, will bring too much disinfecting sunlight on them.
It’s not only the 4th Branch. Don’t forget the Fourth Estate. Our “government” along with the media and Big Tech, now comprise the 4th Reich.
4th Branch. 5th Column. 4th Reich. NWO.
Does the N in NWO just stand for the word New?
Possible. Maybe they see how much damage their own side is doing their agenda and so have to put the brakes on a little. Although, I’ve never seen anyone since Washington (George) give up that much power willingly. But, It is possible they are just that smart and enlightened.
Perhaps. I am always suspect when anything shifts.
Elons family in South Africa wasnt wealthy
His father is a pig who left his mom with 3 kids and no support so she had to go out and work to support the family
That is not quite right. There are many interviews and articles detailing his background.
Elon’s mother and father both came from wealthy backgrounds. His father was filthy rich when his mom divorced him and fled to Canada. She says that she suffered financial hardships after the divorce, with her other two children.
Elon stayed with his wealthy father, and didn’t move to Canada to be with his mom until he was about 17.
Not even close, do you also promote the lie of Gates coming from nothing, instead of the most elite banking family of Seattle? And Buffett, born unconnected and poor, right?
Musk sued his father to get control of many millions in a trust fund. He moved to Canada, entered the most expensive elite school there, was notariously an arrogant rich *******, and got into the company that sold to PayPal because he was the money backer who got his demand to be CEO.
Pampered, elite, lying scumbag – check, check, and check!
Why push more lies.? Are you related to him, and is it a genetic predisposition?
“Pampered, elite, lying, scumbag”.
Still no Heart Light? Still not feeling light hearted? 😪
There are conflicting accounts of Elon’s father’s wealth. The truth seems closer to his parents’ families being accomplished upper middle class, intelligent people than very rich elites. You might want to research that.
In her book, “A Woman Makes a Plan,” Maye Musk describes relocating to Canada some time after divorcing her abusive husband. She describes the family as living and eating very frugally and at one point, walking three blocks in a snowstorm to a modeling assignment, because the bus she was on broke down. They couldn’t afford a car. By her account, they lived like that until Elon and his brother sold a computer game they created. Elon has said that he had to take out a $100K college loan.
Musk thinks in a large way, concepts and has been able to convince those in government that his projects are worth support.
Purchasing Twitter is the beginning of something bigger if this parallels Tesla and his Space program.
But for the first time, he has poked the liberal bear.
He doesn’t really know what’s coming but atleast he has Twitter to post his defenses now.
They will do Trump-Russia x 10 to limit free speech. So domestic and international forces (Intel) and family pressures coming his way.
Or he will come to an accord in a limited way ACCORDING TO THE LAW. ?
It could be just that. He was so infuriated by his jousts with the Corrupt Corporate Media that he wanted to ensure he had a way of getting his side out without interference. I can see a guy like him putting a very high price on that.
NO DEALS!!
Visions of Angela Merkel asking Zuckerberg on a hot microphone ” What are you going to do about them (her German nationalists opposition) on FB?”
Twitter need not provide any service……
Already starting. The bloody EU. Tyranny Union.
Don’t know why Musk is doing this; but, it’s surely to benefit himsef. Might benefit others but……count me as one who is looking this gift horse in the mouth…….
Why?
Any ideas on how dodgecoin “DOGE” might enter into this?
Maybe a backdoor to digital backed currency ?
And if the world’s most powerful institutions don’t go after him, then we probably know why.
Jack Prosebic has an opinion as well. As for me, I don’t trust any of them and based on Sundance’s analysis of Jack’s Coffee Shop, I’m waiting to see what will happen.
https://rumble.com/v12khju-episode-1812-posobiec-on-twitter-takeover-the-heroism-of-specialist-bishop-.html
Oh shoot! Jack may have just hit on it accidentally. “Elon didn’t just purchase a company, he purchased evidence.” Maybe that’s it. Maybe they had to take Twitter private to bury the evidence. A private company can do that. A Public company not so much.
Globalists have no overriding need to bury “evidence,” since they have already purchased most DA’s and judges -via Lawfare- to avoid justice.
We may be late to their game, but the global elite have had their Great Reset mapped out for many decades. They certainly didn’t do all this on the fly.
President Trump stepped up at the eleventh hour to stop their reset- not vice versa.
Tucker introduces this interview with a scary fact…. “The US govt and China are threatened by the private takeover of Twitter.”
let’s step back – WHY?
Why is a GOVERNMENT concerned about the takeover of a public traded company?
well we know why…it’s because the govt USES that company’s platform to manipulate the public by messing with the information provided on that platform. And isn’t Tucker admitting that the US govt subsidizes a publicly traded company that it uses to manipulate the American people, with the American people’s money? That is why the GOVT has such a huge stake in the Musk deal – Tucker says it “its a weapon of the govt”
let’s take a minute on THAT one.
Our government uses OUR money to manipulate and curtail our freedom.
instead of doing GOOD works for the people they represent, the Government is actively working against us. When one of their “weapons” is taken away, our government strikes back.
what in the actual heck?
Put a damper on the NWOG cabal PsyOps program.
Solid Take from JD Rucker:
Most of my audience is well aware that the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leader” initiative has yielded some of the most powerful people in the world. From leaders like Justin Trudeau and Gavin Newsom to tech giants like Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg, the disciples of Klaus Schwab and the New World Order make up a huge chunk of control over our world today.
What many may not know is that Elon Musk is among them. I don’t hold it against you if you didn’t know because there seems to have been a concerted effort to hide this fact. Searching on Google and other platforms for information about just about any of the previous graduates of Schwab’s school of globalism reveals tons of information, but a similar search for Musk’s participation is conspicuously slim. I had to go back to a 2008 Bloomberg article to find it.
In an article titled “Young Global Leaders–Anderson Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio Are In The Most Exclusive Private Social Network In The World” by Bruce Nussbaum published March 17, 2008, it’s revealed that, “Elon Musk, the chairman of Tesla Motors, the much-publicized electric sports-car company, is a new YGL.”
As the billionaire pushes to buy Twitter outright, the vast majority of conservatives on the social network have been cheering him on. This makes sense considering he’s clearly trying to install a freer speech mentality there, denouncing censorship and claiming to be a “free speech absolutist.” But it must be noted that Musk is likely not the conservative hero many want him to be. In fact, he has a history of promoting anti-American ideas like Universal Basic Income, stronger economic ties with Communist China, and an outright embrace of a form of socialism that sounds an awful lot like the World Economic Forum’s push for “stakeholder capitalism.”
He seems to be making the right enemies in his bid for control of Twitter as both the U.S. government and hedge fund giant Vanguard have been making moves to block and/or intimidate him. That only endears him even more to conservatives, and while I think there’s a good chance he’s sincere, there’s also a good chance that he’s a shill for the globalist elites.
Why do we think DiCaprio is constantly spouting his ridiculous climate garbage, 100 % fabrication, Newsome and Turdoh are impossible to rid ourselves of, and Suckerberg is the man behind the Ministry of Truth curtain? But I feel Musk is a different type. I don’t think he is of the same greed caste as the rest. and her is smarter than any, and all, of them.
Musk isn’t with [them] but he isn’t really with us either.
He’s walking the line in the middle, the grey area which for him leads to Mars.
All he really cares about is getting to Mars, period.
I think he knows all about the Great Reset and the WEF’s plans but he doesn’t care one way or another unless it interferes with his goals.
In this case the social, economic and political chaos in the world is beginning to impact his companies and his goals and it’s caused by the Deep State.
Being an obsessive problem solver he’s astute enough to see the only way forward is to cripple or eliminate the DS control of the US and the world. which has been a road block to his endeavours with SpaceX/Starship.
One of the most critical weak points of the Deep State is social media which they can’t totally control, one of the bastions of DS control and propaganda is Twitter which has been a lynchpin in attacking DS opponents and coordinating their propaganda campaigns through bots and censorship.
To an autistic like Musk it’s a straightforward problem to solve, buy and control Twitter and eliminate one of the DS’s main assets and shortening the period of chaos in the world so that he can get back on track to Mars.
He’s also put a massive bullseye on his back but that doesn’t seem to worry him.
We can but hope. SM, the Ministry of Truth, is useful to the DS in that it is mainline to the segment of society that is entirely dependent and addicted to it. The narcissistic feed it presents to that demographic is entirely necessary to completely control the thoughts and opinions of that group of 18 to 29 year olds. 33% of the Global population is those under 20 years old. 90 % of the US population of 18 – 29 year olds are SM users / addicts. If you can control the hearts and minds of that large segment of society, you have won the game. PsyOps 101.
Right, just like Bondo Barr’s pretend fury and concern in his interview with Wolfie Blitzer over the concept of the wide-spread use of mail-in and drop-box ballots in the then upcoming election.
“They are a direct threat to election integrity and democracy itself!” he cried
I enjoyed Barr and still do. As AG he did what needed to be done for President Trump. Could he have done more? Sure. Am I OK that he didnt? Yep.
Do I see advantages in having the Corporate Media, who loathed him, now welcoming him as a guest again because of a few “anti Trump” statements? Yep.
Did the “tiff and rift” with President Trump, as he was exiting, help protect Barr from being destroyed? Absolutely. And I’m glad.
Personally, if Im going to use a nickname, I prefer, Bagpipes Barr.
High IQ inquisitives generally entertain all ideas at some point in their life.
They’re not cautious conformists. At all. Instead they’re intrepid explorers. Of everything. Driven by boundless curiosity.
Example? President Trump.
This guy has lied so many times, about everything, from product deliveries and capabilities, to product developments, to his childhood, and everything in between. He is on record with so many lies, blatant outright, no-chance-they-are-innocent, bald-faced LIES.
And, yet, so many people still want to believe he is telling the truth this time.
Sure, sure he is. You keep telling yourself that.
Why are humans so foolishly gullible?
I ask myself that very same question every day about Liberals believing the BS fed to them by the pathologically lying Democrat Party/RINOs.
Regardless of what Musk does or doesn’t do he has rattled their safe space and that’s a good thing. As an aside, as these dullard deviants publicly gnash their teeth, they are red-pilling more thinking people.
Most of these DARPA creations have been turned on the American people and the human race to create false narratives that are sold as fact. Anything that goes against their false narratives must be destroyed and in 2020 they went full on Orwellian. When I read “1984 and Animal Farm as a kid it was supposed to be a cautionary tale, these creeps saw them as a how to books.
For now, be Missourian, “show me!”
Too right. I have often thought the same about Animal Farm and 1984. Coincidence? I think not.
One thing for certain is that there’s a lot more going on here than meets the eye and unless you have some special insight gained from inside the game, it’s impossible to know what’s really going on. For example I find the following to be very curious:
The one thing I am certain of is few people really understand the totality of what is happening here.
Elon has been buying the stock since the first of the year long before anyone knew. He probably started the deal in Q4 of 2021
Agree. All good thoughts that I share. But I have thought often of Jack. Even during the congressional hearings he seemed so remote, and almost sincerely puzzled. Then he took the step back from ownership, and all but went mute, as a board member. He must have some common sense, he is from St. Louis. But hard to know what to believe when examining the concepts of the Future of Capitalism, courtesy of his The Berggruen Institute’s “New Political Economy”, of which Saule Omarova is Senior fellow. I can’t trust anyone with her educational background. The fact that Bribem endorses her, seals the deal. Can never be trusted. Jack is definitely fraught with conflicts and contradictions. His waters run deep. The CIA does like them smart. When you start tying the strings together, connecting the dots; you begin to see the matrix is made up of only a very few players, and a whole lot of confused viewers who are unwilling, completely powerless, victims.
Tesla lives because of the carbon credits it sells and tax rebates on cars. Space X gets government money. Boring Company is all government money. Factory in China is government money. New management same as the old management? There have been some interesting comments about Musk being antiestablishment. Is he a smarter version of P T Barnum?
Also Sundance in a previous article said you cannot scale Twitter into profitability. The more it grows, the more it loses money. Sure points to another government subsidy for Musk.
The Ticker Guy has some thoughts on social media and profit today:
Before You Cheer….
The broken business model is that all current social media platforms, irrespective of who runs them, must find a way to conceal how you get screwed out of the $25 to succeed, and worse, that since some people can and do evade paying anything everyone else pays materially more than the “average.” Exactly zero of said social media sites simply and transparently charge you the $25, which is very solid evidence that if they did or if the means if you being forced to pay the money were disclosed in full detail and could not, by law, be concealed from you then you wouldn’t pay and the firm would fail.
There are no current exceptions in the marketplace and Musk hasn’t just created one.
Musk didn’t get his money by being stupid.
https://market-ticker.org/post=245736
“Musk has been favorable to Big Govt in his two most famous endeavors, Tesla and SpaceX.”
SpaceX? The single largest disruption to the establishment (Boeing, LLM, ULA, etc.) in the space industry being favorable to “Big Government”.
That’s a massive case of tin foil paranoia. I suggest go read Behind the Black or Transterrestrial Musings.
Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Dragon, Starlink and soon to be Starship are massive disruptions to the status quo.
Winning a FIXED PRICE commercial Cargo and Crew contract is NOT a subsidy. Thinking otherwise is crawling in the same deep, dark logic hole that Arianespace and the Europeans are stuck in.
Everything Elon doe is focused around establishing civilization on Mars. If you look at his actions through this filter brings things into focus.
A lot of people don’t and can’t understand Musk’s reasoning because frankly it’s not a normal thought process.
Musk is autistic (Asperger’s) and his obsessive focus in getting to Mars explains a lot about his various investments into different sectors of the economy.
People try to categorize Musk using an us/them template and that simply won’t work because he doesn’t think like a normal person.
The US government has Musk to thank for still being a viable player in the space game.
Without Falcon 9/Heavy the DOD and NASA are up shit creek now that Russian engines and lift capacity are off the table.
The SLS is a complete joke and Boeing’s Starliner still isn’t working properly and has no launch vehicles to carry it.
Musk haters love to twist things to seem like he’s with [them] but in reality Musk isn’t on anyone’s side but his own.
America has President Trump AND Musk to thank for still being “in the space game”.
For what its worth, I totally agree that “normies” are UNABLE to grasp someone like Elon.
Wish they’d respond with prayers rather than guesses.
You don’t suppose the DeepState just confirmed how many productive American citizens are looking into immigrating elsewhere, moving their money offshore or just arming up and waiting? DeepState, wanting to keep their game going longer, makes something happen that makes the “pendulum” swing back a little and calm some folks down. If they back off illegal immigration and calm down Ukraine, that would make me even more suspicious.
Yeah. The deep state needs to burrow back down deeper. Their gig is in danger of being up. In my opinion. Their tootsies are getting a little close to the fire. They have let things go a bit too far. Got to go back to the slow creep. But hopefully, it’s too late for that.
There are a lot of parallels between Elon Musk buying Twitter, and Donald Trump stepping into the race to be the Chief Executive.
Almost immediately you got a media barrage of everything the man did or didn’t do in his entire life, critiques of every single thing about him, and stompy Feet of Rage from those who know what’s coming, or what should come, from what they’ve been doing.
No, I don’t think Musk is a hero, I don’t think Musk is a villain.
What he is, like Trump, is a man who has walked straight into the maelstrom, and has drawn down fire on himself.
Would it make any difference if I were opposed to his purchasing Twitter? None at all.
Right now there is a slight chance for something to change for the better, where there wasn’t before.
I wasn’t exactly out there crying, “oh please save us, rich guy” up until this point.
Very well stated.
I find it amazingly astounding that the victims of abusive spouse syndrome cheer returning to such obvious tools of their enemies. What, Twitter won’t beat you as much now? You all failed to understand how Musk buying Twitter is actually a benefit to the Deep State Harlot’s control of all media platforms. Musk’s acquisition to “save” Twitter is extremely suspicious to coincide precisely when the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) starts its’ TRUTH Social media platform.
Elon Musk is not the arbiter of free speech. If he was then we’d see him joining the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) to directly challenge the Deep State Harlot’s propaganda media venues, which he would never do. He should’ve joined Trump but that’s something that would never be allowed. I can only imagine Elon Musk behind TRUTH Social waging an actual information war against the disinformation campaign now being waged against humanity. Imagine that.
Twitter is not an important part of the “Public Square”. Such a mythic unicorn exists nowhere on the Globalist owned internet. So yes they would let him take Twitter, because he works with the Pentagon’s Military Industrial Complex as well as with the CCP production of his Tesla batteries. The delusional thinking that he’s on the side of “free speech” is just that. Twitter changing ownership is merely a transition from a malevolent to a benevolent, bad cop, good cop, Bush regime, Obama Regime form of Stockholm Syndrome conditioning. And guess what? It worked.
“If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,”[Prov. 26.11] and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.” ~ 2 Peter 2.20-22
I’m just waiting to see how the Biden Admin will sic the power of regulatory agencies on Musk, because I know it’s coming. The Left has shown when they have their people in charge in government agencies and the courts, they do not care about operating openly with double standards and selective enforcement.
Will section 230 be imposed on Musk to get him to comply with the censorship regime, and totally ignored on Zuckerberg? I wouldn’t be shocked to see it attempted.
The EU has already started. Funny they never had that energy before, or for FB, etc.
Sorry but I can’t get past Greenwald’s past. Especially his sockpuppetry..(which I think the tern was actually coined for him).
“I can’t get past Greenwalds past”. When you want to get past it you will.
Ask and you will receive.
As an aside, for most of my life I forgot to say thanks right after asking God for help.
Lately I have been saying a heartfelt thank you right after asking God for help.
Does it make a difference? Surprisingly, yes. A profound difference.
Musk witnessed speech and information suppression during the 2020 election and he along with many other Americans realize the damage it has done.
We can but hope.
I am not particularly fond of Musk. He has a touch of “snake-oil” salesman in him. But, one thing I readily admit is that he is smart. Super smart.
When you stop and consider the state of the world, from a technology/privacy/censorship perspective, his motive for doing this might be discernible. Look at this from HIS perch in the tech world, and through HIS business lens, a couple of things pop out:
It might just be that Elon Musk has stopped and looked way down the road, seen the future, and decided he didn’t like it very much and wanted to try and change it. It all has to start somewhere. Twitter is likely the easiest place to start.
Well said. Total control is nearly achieved. As soon as they can entirely control finance, as in personal finance, it will be a done deal. $$ is the ultimate control.
In order for electric vehicles to succeed, no one can be allowed by the “greenies” to investigate or disclose where the electric power comes from on the other side of your wall/plug.
I do not trust anyone who makes the vast majority of his income off of the American taxpayers. Elon Musk has been cashing in on Government largess for more than three decades. He would have never even considered building Tesla’s without huge government funding due to electric car subsidies from the climanistas running our bureaucracies. Maybe Elon has had an epiphany, but I don’t believe he has ever had one that didn’t involve another scheme to put more of our easy Gooberment money into his own accounts.
Yes, Musk buying Twitter is a blow to the leftist dominance of the online media industry. But I don’t think Musk was ever on the side of real Conservatives. I am, to say the least, very skeptical of Elon Musk. He might be the “smartest man in the world”, for all I know. But I have only a seen self serving grifter, so far.
Musk is on his own side.
Musk’s one and only stated goal has been to get to Mars by any means possible and establish civilization there.
Everything Musk has done is subservient to this goal.
All of his companies have functions which serve Martian colonization and because Musk is autistic (shows clear signs of Asperger’s) his hyper obsessive focus on his goal means that for Musk politics is a tool not an ideology.
Musk politically would be classified as an Independent and most likely Libertarian leaning but he’s neither Left or Right.
Like President Trump.
He’s always chafed at political labels, preferring, if pressed, to be called a common sense American.
Ideological echo chambers and purity bubbles are for fools, fearfuls and unimaginatives.
Trump is none of those things. Neither is Elon.
Thank God.
What bothers me the most is the final purchase will take 6 months and elections are in 6 months. I doubt if Twitter will be any help there, as programmed.
Twitter doing no more harm will be a great help.
Happily, current reports from the non Leftist Social Media/Twitter world suggests frets and fears are VERY premature.
Perhaps do more yourself to help with the elections rather than waiting on Twitter?
Look at what Muskegon has done in his career. Paypal, Online Bank, Spacex, Tesla. Twitter is the communication vehicle to promote all of his current and future endeavors. Income will arrive from advertising and subscriptions and who knows what else he plans to “sell.” I see this guy as a middle of the road (politically) type of character that loves to dance between left and right and drive everyone nuts.
The real problem with “pseudo-fixing” Twitter is that it will certainly retard development of alternatives. I think this is the reason that president Trump said he would not return, using the TRUTH platform he, with others, are devolping.. The solution, perhaps re-TRUTHing everything on Twitter
The only possibility for a downside of this, the only way this could be kubuki theatre that I can see would be if the government/Media/Tech cabal are trying to blunt to rise of the alternatives currently launching (truth social etc) Kind of a stretch though.
I felt like part of Musk’s angle is to control Twitter’s data content on millions of people. For what purpose we are yet to find out. Perhaps it’s the Neuralink product.
I will pit my “green energy” footprint against Musk’s any day. What must it require to send rich people on their space trips? We planted 22 trees and a dozen shrubs this week and the the composter and garden are up and running.
Standing O from GOP House caucus for Kevin McCarthy following leaked tapes.
And ANYONE going to tell me, ‘something’, ‘anything’ going to change.
UNIPARTY baby…
Cast those R votes in 2022 and 2024, roll those dice.
I’ll pull a few R levers in 2022 and 2024 and they will be very focused and deliberate…BUT NOT A PARTY LINE VOTE for every R on the ticket…..NOT happening.
I HATE McCarthy and McConnell and everything they are, stand for and represent.
I predicted the Swamp psyops would be rolling out anti RINO narratives with rage bait cue words and pics. Naturally McCarthy had to be made into a rage triggering villain like Mitch.
Why? Republicans are slated to win a super House majority. Cant have that!!!
Now lo and behold, within 24 hours, my entire prediction appears in one post.
Muh dO nOt vOtE fOr RINOs .RINOs are wOrsE than Democrats. Let the Democrat win. 😂😂😂
Twitter’s top lawyer reassures staff, cries during meeting about Musk takeover
https://www.politico.com/news/2022/04/26/twitters-top-lawyer-reassures-staff-cries-during-meeting-about-musk-takeover-00027931
I really don’t understand all this despair from the left. Crying? Emotional meltdowns? Really? It can’t be because of free speech. It must be over losing their control of speech (including who speaks, or who is heard).
Elon Musk is not a political activist in the measure we normally view activists. He is more about solving problems and persuasion. He is Libertarian. He supports some things on the right and some things on the left. He basically gets along with both sides. And, both sides sometimes like his ideas, and sometimes don’t.
There are two things that really bother him culturally. Political correctness/wokeness and free speech intolerance.
He has defined free speech as whatever is lawful. So yes, if another country has banned defined hate speech Twitter will likely comply with that country’s laws.
The progressive left will try to pass ridiculous hate speech/safe speech legislation here in the US. to limit our speech rights. So get ready for that fight.

“He’s the only one of the billionaire class that’s not just saying something, but is doing something about it (free speech…” Why is everyone blowing off TruthSocial? Trump’s platform is being built from the ground up without Big Tech’s religion or influence and is due shortly to be available to the public at large, and not just invite into Apple’s testing phase.
Elon’s Twitter is not the end all and be all of the Public Internet Square.
