As expected, in the France election no candidate achieved 50% of the vote. That sets up a runoff election fifteen days from now to determine who will be the next president. Reuters Article Here – Guardian/MSM Article Here
In the primary race the final results are not yet announced; however, current President Emmanuel Macron has approximately 28% of the vote, and challenger Marine Le Pen has around 24% of the vote. No other candidate was close enough to change the top two outcome.

In the head-to-head matchup, the race is essentially tied, well within the margin of polling error (as above). Interestingly, Le Pen has flipped the 18-to-34-year age bracket and now holds majority support in the younger voting bloc. Perhaps, due to young French citizens feeling the outcomes of the professional political left thirsting for unilateral power during COVID.
There was around a 65% voter turnout according to most early analysts. The general election is essentially a coin toss based on the current polling. The final vote to determine the winner will take place April 24th. It will be a very closely watched event by leaders around the world. A Le Pen victory would be seismic in the world of politics, akin to Trump’s victory in 2016, and that outcome is a strong possibility.
The professional political left are apoplectic.
(BBC Opinion) – Estimations from round one show how tactical voting rewrote the electoral map.
Voters gathered into three broad camps: Macron, the far-right and the far-left. In the last days of campaigning, many people who were considering other candidates finally decided that they would rather back a frontrunner.
There was thus a big transfer of votes from Éric Zemmour – the hard-right nationalist pundit – to the camp of Marine Le Pen. Some right-wingers in the conservative Republicans party may have done the same.
On the left, voters decided that neither the Socialist Anne Hidalgo nor the Green Yannick Jadot could ever make it into round two. So they shifted massively to Jean-Luc Mélenchon, simply to keep a leftist in the race. This despite many Socialists and Greens actively disliking the man.
And in the centre, many who would normally have chosen the Republicans’ Valérie Pécresse will have plumped instead for the incumbent. Why? Because they were genuinely afraid that Le Pen and/or Mélenchon were coming up too strong from behind.
The result means two things.
One is the utter devastation facing France’s two traditional parties of government since 1958 – the conservative right, and the socialist left. This was a process started by Macron five years ago, but now comprehensively complete.
Both parties’ candidates – and certainly the Socialists’ Anne Hidalgo – may have failed to reach the 5% threshold, which allows them to claim back election costs. The price tag will be millions of euros, but worse is the ignominy. We can expect serious internal ructions.
Macron has so engineered it that the divide in French politics is now definitively the one that he sought: between his own “realistic centrism” and “openness to the world” and the “extremism” of his opponents. The “nationalist extremism” of Le Pen and the “utopian extremism” of Mélenchon. (read more)
Nationalism -vs- Globalism

During his pandemic response, Macron went totally overboard. He was the first one to announce (July 2021) that a vaccine passport would be needed in order to shop, drink, eat at restaurants, travel or worship. Many other western, fascist totalitarian dictators, the new democracy leaders, followed soon thereafter. Macron’s ideological fiats may come back to haunt him. We can hope. The French people were not happy with this unilateral decision, and it showed people how quickly some leaders will become dictators.
President Macron took that dictatorship even one step further in January of this year, and this is likely the biggest problem for him right now. In January he announced that any unvaccinated person was “irresponsible” and therefore “no longer a citizen.”
Macron told Le Parisien that he had decided to act against the non-vaccinated, by “limiting as much as possible their access to social life activity”. “The unvaccinated, I really want to piss them off. And so we will continue to do so, to the bitter end. That’s the strategy,” the head of state said. “When my freedom comes to threaten that of other people, I become irresponsible. An irresponsible person is no longer a citizen.”
“I am not going to put them in prison, I am not going to forcibly vaccinate them,” Macron went on. “Therefore you have to say to them: from January 15 you can no longer go to a restaurant, you can no longer go for a drink, you can no longer go for a coffee, you can no longer go to the theatre, you can no longer go to the cinema,” the president said. That extremist approach is the opening Marine Le Pen now has in front of her – to expose Emmanuel Macron as the installed, WEF approved, multicultural economic globalist everyone knows him to be.
Ask and ye shall receive. Lets pray non stop for LePen.
Yes, she will win…
LePen is mightier than the horde 🙂
And WORDMAN strikes again! (golf clap, W)
I know I am not worthy, however, I post this in your honor….
😂😂😂! Full marks!
HaHa! As they say in the Netherlands:
Gouda one 🙂
HA- I knew you had one more in you! 🤣
🙄 How cheesy. 😁
Cheesy for you to say 🙂
Good one – whey to go, Ad Rem!
Let’s milk this one for all it’s worth.
Are you saying we should milk this ’til the cows come home? 🙂
Ad rem, How could one ever get Feta up with humor such as this? The Bat!!!
LePen will not win but there will be a run off between her and Macron.
This is the election that will be the nail biter, the one in two weeks.
NO, she won’t. Macron will win easily because very close 3rd party pro-EU Melenchon is supporting Macron.
They all are. Had a convo with a friend who hates Macron as much as I do, was voting Mélenchon, well Mélanchon took exactly half an hour to can for voting Macron.
The votes aren’t there. France is currently divided into thirds, Woke globalist, woke BLMist and Nationalist. Well wokesters gonna woke. They will vote Macron.
It looks closer than before though, maybe 52/48
Continuing prayers for Le Pen and France …
Go Marine Go !!!!!!!!
Avenge Martyr Samuel Paty!!!!
Hear, hear!
Like those gas stations one sees with a Last Chance sign, before one drives into the desert.
Last Chance, France!
Do the French have mail in voting?
No, they do not.
No. No mail in, no early voting. All on paper and only hand counts. No machines at all.
And we can only dream of such honest elections.
And we should still watch closely to see if there are any weak spots in that system. Don’t mean to sound so negative, but it won’t do much good getting rid of our current system that’s ripe with corruption if it’s only replaced by another that the dems have found a way to taint. In the mean time I will try to be optimistic for France.
New Hampshire in the 1996 Presidential primary was paper ballots and Pat Buchanan won it after the “polls” said he would come in 5th or 6th.
Are the unvaccinated allowed to vote (said half tongue in cheek. One has to ask these things)?
Are the vaccines “Halal” in France?
Better question, Colkitto…are Muslims even required to get the mandated for others vaxes?
I bet they aren’t.
We should pivot our universal hate and disgust of “masks forever” onto the plight of oppressed muslimas who have to wear a very uncomfortable mask from age 9 to their day of death…..or they get beaten or killed. Whenever there is yet another “Kafir ripped off my hijab” hoax and liberal white college or high school girls try to virtue-signal by enforcing a peer-pressured ‘Wear a hijab Day”, tell them to wear it everyday at all hours outside their homes for 3 years and let us know how “liberating” an experience it was for them.
I know, William. It’s awful.
And I bet you are right as usual.
🤗!!
An election you can believe in.
All done in one day. That is how we need to do it.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but it is not certain that Le Pen will qualify for the second round. Over the last hours the socialist Mélenchon has caught up, and it is now a nailbiter: 23.0% for LePen, 22.2% for Mélenchon. These figures are estimates from so far counted votes. How good the French psepologists and statisticians are I do not know, but Le Monde just changed its headline to “the race tightens between Le Pen and Mélenchon”. Here are some sites (French and Belgian) for those who wish to follow the count:
https://www.leparisien.fr/
https://www.lefigaro.fr/

PS Mélenchon has thanked his team, said good-night and left his HQ. Either he knows he cannot catch Le Pen or he is a very cool customer. I think and hope the former.
She made it and strongly. 24% to Macron’s 27% and he’s the incumbent. She has a shot
American greatness led citizens to largely trust their government to be either mostly honest or sufficiently in check. They also led the world in technological development. Ergo, the ability to efficiently tally votes electronically and instantly is a wonderful thing–with an ethical government and supporting infrastructure designed to enforce integrity.
Alas, the politicians closed the door, agreed to proceed, and then counted the money and cooked the books from that point forward. When our leaders decided to betray our trust, that’s when we lost it all. The vote is the only way out, and they cooked that, so…
Well, we loused up — we trusted them.
Comfort and apathy associated with “advanced societies” tends to lead to misplaced trust.
Just adding some more information to my previous post before I turn the computer off for the day (post-midnight here in Sweden).
I finally found some real vote figures. They were posted as a response to a hopeful Mélenchon supporter on a chat in Le Monde. Yes, at least one major polling firm has tightened its predictions on the race between Le Pen and Mélenchon, but at 23:30 French time about 80% of the vote had been counted (27.9 million votes, (Mvotes)) with Macron receiving 7.43 Mvotes (26.7%), Marine Le Pen 7.06 Mvotes (25.3%) and Mélenchon 5.33 Mvotes (19.1%). Even though the largest cities are ususally counted last and the socialists usually have their largest support there, it looks like Mélenchon have to find a 2020 US-presidential “miracle” to catch up. Instead it looks like Le Pen is closer to Macron than the predicted results show. Go figure!
You mean France doesn’t send their election results to other countries to count like this country /s
And universal voter id.
I wonder if the US will get involved.
Didn’t you mean “I wonder in what ways the US is involved”? Since it would appear the US has no shame in manipulating elections.
they used to have mail in and recognized it led to cheating
There is mail in, but the conditions are very strict.
‘No mail in, no early voting. All on paper and only hand counts.’
And yet, even in the 1950’s, and probably before and after, elections have been stolen. Just not as easily or openly.
Yep
They learned from America
Seems like a great way to to do it!
*looks at DC*
Also in this case the places where it is possible to fraud are either MLP or Mélenchon. Macron has very little local support, all rich people and Boomers.
They do have voter ID though…how quaint.
How dare they huh? LOL!
Imagine an honest election!
But is it? I cannot see any WEF member States allowing a free and fair election, determined by the actual people. I could be wrong, but there must be an angle….it seems odd that this would be free or fair.
The WEF agenda is on the line here.
Surely someone must know…
Yes…voter ID is so yesterday….tragically.
…and see Mikgen’s post above. There’s your putative answer.
Yes.
“Even though the pandemic is still ongoing, France has not adopted mail-in voting, which was banned in 1975 amid fears of potential fraud. Macron’s center left government tried to pass an amendment to allow early voting by machine to encourage more voting amid the COVID-19 pandemic. But the Senate, led by a conservative majority, rejected the measure.” ~ from Online Germany (dwDOTcom)
It’s been all exit polls so far, but official results are finally trickling in
With 38 million votes tallied out of an estimated 48 expected to vote,
Macron is leading with 27.41% to Le Pen’s 25.54%.
Besides the candidates, note the voter turn-out, which was 65%+.
In the US it is a struggle to get more than 15% for local elections and primaries, which makes it not so necessary to cheat for in those situations. A decent sized block of “like minded organized voters” can fix the outcome. Yet, folks complain the candidates and local government.
Nationally the 2020 turn-out was allegedly about 67% in the US. However, that is a dubious number given the number of “Late Votes” dumped into the system after polls were supposed to close, multiple state or precinct voters, illegal voters counted, dead voters and the number of digitally altered or cast votes.
Praying!
Bon Voyage France!
Is it election interference when ALL of the media refer to LePen as … FAR-Right? But never refer to Macron as FAR-Left.
????
Why … yes … it is!
S.O.P.
Standard Operating Procedure
CNN referred to her as a “Putin Sympathizer” and Trump-like
She not far right in the least. Far right I guess because of how far left the media thinks the center is.
Center, what is this center that you talk about.
Thankfully France is not enamored with Dominion. Would that our own insane leftists would watch, and mimic.
If the Leftist Globalist demons could steal the election from President Trump right in front of the entire World, couldn’t they steal any election any number of ways? No mail-in voting? No machines? No problem, just freeze the vote counting and back-fill the votes just like in MI, PA, WI, AZ, GA and NV. Board up the windows at the vote counting sites, declare a pipe burst in the bathroom, stuff Macron ballots in suitcases under the tables and bring them out later, declare a health crisis or some type of emergency to act as cover.
Note how the BBC identifies Macron as the Center vs the Extremists. Sundance, however, has them rightly pegged as the Nationalists vs the Globalists (in Europe, you have the middle choice of Europists, i.e., the EU, too, but intended to dominate the Globalists). This seems to me to give Le Pen the opportunity to attack the Globalists and all the totalitarian plans of the WEF, no longer dismissible as conspiracy theories. Like Roger Malone says, let’s out all the WEF “Future Leaders,” Macron and Merkel and Gates and Fauci among the oldest alumni. Pound away at all the negatives from all of those scoundrels. Make Macron defend it all, or try to deny it or smear it as conspiracies.
The Communist garnered over 20% of the vote and most of those votes will now go to Macron. I don’t think Le Pen has a chance.
The Communists who came in 3rd place told his voters not to vote for Le Pen.
The same with the so-called “traditional conservative” parties.
France is 1/3 Woke Globalist, 1/3 Woke BLM and 1/3 Nationalist. Wokesters will woke.
Bernie voters swore they’d never support the DNC candidate because Bernie got JOBBED! But then … a US RECORD number of voters came out to support dementia, basement hiding, Joe!? Change of heart?
will the French communists stay home? Or will it be a RECORD BREAKING landslide for the WEF candidate?
“How can you govern a nation that has 246 varieties of cheese?”
DeGaulle
I think Le Pen is doing well among young people because she brilliantly outmaneuvered Macron on the retirement age. While Macron proposed to increase the retirement age in France from 62 to 65, Le Pen’s proposal opens the way for an earlier retirement age of 60 for workers who start working early at age 17 and a retirement age of no more than 62 for everyone else.
This where she could win the election because effectively she can link all of her French nationalist policies to this. When Macron tries to criticize her on racism, she can cite than all races will benefit from early retirement. On immigration, she can say Macron would rather have the French pay for immigrants than to give the French an early retirement. The same on taxes, inflation and so on.
I think the debates will be crucial. She has a big ace in her hands with this retirement proposal. I hope she’s able to use it effectively to win this race!
Destroying the French economy is only another day’s work for Oedipus Wrecks.
“No longer go to…, no longer go to…, no longer go to…”
A kept citizenry. Govt controls those not self-sufficient. And, only by the private gate keepers acting as the agents of the state to ostracize their fellow citizens. In a way, he’s right. They ARE no longer citizens; they are not allowed to be.
Blanc bonnet,bonnet blanc.
In the US, self identified leftists make up a large but distinctly minority segment of the population. They rely on race based voting by minorities plus the low info demographic to win.
I imagine in France, the left is a bigger share of the population and rely on Muslims plus the same low info people who get their news from the deluge of leftist media sources that dominate the entire world.
In every country, there is no significant non leftist media. There is only massive leftist media domination with small non leftist alternatives reaching a very limited share of the population.
There is a natural leftist character trait that strives to suppress and kill off any voice that opposes them and Gramsci’s infiltration of the institutions simply documented it. I suspect leftists had accomplished half of his march through the institutions before he even wrote his book. More importantly, that march didn’t limit itself to the media or education. It went everywhere including so called opposition parties.
Very interesting…. It’s been all exit polls so far, but official results are finally trickling in
With 38 million votes tallied out of an estimated 48 expected to vote,
Macron is leading with 27.41% to Le Pen’s 25.54%.
Where did you find those figures? I have been trying to find real vote counts in the French newspapers and so far I have only found estimates based on exit-polls and counted votes in special constituencies.
The newspapers use those to tell their readers that the race is tightening between Le Pen and Mélenchon. Your figuers do not bear out that story.
Here is Bloomberg link with latest updates.
Macron 27.6
LePen 24.7
https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2022-france-election/
Thanks! With 32 million votes counted Le Pen is leading the socialist/communist/green Mélenchon by more than 3%-age units. Estimates that there were about 35 million votes cast is should be all but over.
Hope France can get rid of their globalist nightmare president.
Unfortunately, we’re stuck with ours and by the time we get the chance to get rid of him / her / whoever, it’ll probably be too late.
Why do you think the polls there are any more honest than they are here.
Who actually counts all the ballots?
Trouble for LePen in round 2.
The communist candidate, Fabien Roussel, has joined Pécresse, Jadot and Hidalgo in their call to block the way to Marine LePen in the next round and vote Macron.
Valerie Pecresse was a rightwing candidate and her 5% would more likely go to Marine Le Pen. Add that to Zemmour’s 8% or so and Lasalle’s 3%. That would bring her support up to about 40% going into the final vote.
Not sure. The so called “Trocadero” conservatives (ex Fillon) have already left for Zemmour. What she has left are the rump. Lots will go Macron.
Imagine having an election that can count their votes and publish results in one day…..and no water main breaks.
LePen is closing the gap!
Macron is strong in towns, Mélenchon in populous immigrant areas. So MLP’s votes are counted quicker.
OK, back for the last time (promise). Here is the link to the French government page tabulating the votes: https://www.resultats-elections.interieur.gouv.fr/presidentielle-2022/FE.html
So far 92% of registered voters have been counted. Macron 27.4%, Le Pen 24.3%, Mélenchon 21.3%.
That means 8% more to count, but since the turnout is somewhere between 70 – 75% only ≈6% more votes.
Note that the Bloomberg page (which says it is using only official numbers) has Le Pen 0.2% less and Macron 0.2% more than the official governmental tabulation. Strange….
Not going to happen, she will always be the. Bridesmaid
The majority will coalesce behind Macron.
I’m afraid I agree , left out of hopeful snapshot above is that 3rd place finisher with 20 plus percent is a lefty/socialist – his voters will migrate to Macron , they will never vote for her – I don’t think she can find enough votes to overcome the French love of fine wine and socialism
Or the boats loads of kalergi Plan invader voters.
100% guaranteed. Macron has the Muslim vote locked, and the leftists will vote for him overwhelmingly.
No, that’s Mélenchon. But their votes will go to Macron.
Agree. If LePen couldn’t pull it off now with all that the Left and Macron have done (or haven’t) then she’ll surely fail in the run-off. Macron is such a dikc I’m surprised he did as well as he did.
Why does the media not run with the headline: 72% of French do not want Macron?
I would suggest that if not a single presidential candidate can get 50% +1 then all the candidates need to be disqualified and a new set of candidates nominated and this would get rid of rerunning candidates not universally acceptable.
One ”white-pill” we can take from the French election, and others, is that the doom-laden prophecies of the 2000’s that predicted demographics would make nationalist insurgencies impossible do not seem to be holding true, for whatever reason.
Paper ballots only and ID required to cast a vote, voting highest in rural areas and lowest in Paris area bodes well for Le Pen… time for the wef puppet to b retired
As a pessimist, my bet is that France will join Canada in confirming it wants a leftist dictator and societal destruction. If so, Macron will then mimic Trudeau and double down on everything NWO.
With what has been happening in France and we are supposed to believe the boy toy is leading in any political race ?
BS
Pepe’ Le Pew will be voting for LePen?
She’s been around a long while and in the end, doesn’t quite convince enough people….unless, of course, the fix has always been in and will be again.
I don’t really think she’ll win, but I hope she does.
Hopefully this time people are fed up!
She has an inbuilt problem, she needs the North which went from voting Communist to voting for her, therefore she needs Socialist economic policies, plus the rich south for whom immigration is a problem. The economic policies she needs for the North, preclude her winning in towns. It’s a circle she hasn’t been able to square.
Wonder if there are other places voting in this election?
whoops. Here’s the twit:
edited by me.
LePen is great. Totally against mandates, P.C. culture and she exposes the lies.
“…you can no longer go to a restaurant, you can no longer go for a drink, you can no longer go for a coffee, you can no longer go to the theatre, you can no longer go to the cinema” This is exactly how the German Nazi treated the Jews during WWII.
Defeat Globalists… at any cost.
I’m sure they ‘manipulate’ the vote… like the Demoncrats in USA.
The French need to be afraid of Macron not Le Pen!
If I am wrong I will come back to eat my words, but my prediction right now this will go the same as 4 years ago.
LePen was way ahead then in the polls and Macron came out of nothing as a nobody to win the election.
I would be highly suprised if LePen has a real chance of winning.
No way that the left leaning EU will let LePen get in any position of power.
I think of it as a dog and pony show to let the “sheeple” think its a democracy.
Again if I am wrong I will be back to apologize 😀
I’m beginning to believe this has been the situation most of my life. Has any election NOT been manipulated? I’m thinking the stunned look on the faces of the powerful when Trump won was a reflection of how massive his vote count was. Their fraud was large but still under calculated. They made the same mistake in 2020, but had an emergency plan to halt the election until they fixed it.
The immigrants must outnumber the indigenous French citizens to have Macron ahead of Le Pen. I can’t understand why any genuine French man or woman would vote for Macron. From my perspective, a vote for Macron is the end of French civilization as known for centuries. I guess the country name will be changed too, if Macron is re-elected. How about Francistan instead of France? Guess it could be called that right now and fitting too. At least the sidewalks would probably not have as much dog doo on them with the Muslims running the country.

I have a buddy in France, and they just had an election there. Polls closed a few hours ago and they already know who the winners are. Must be nice to live in a first world country.

Paris turned into an Algerian/Chechen/Syrian sewer under Mayor Ana Hildago. She was very anti-Trump too if memory serves me. She really did not like cracks about the No-Go zones. St. Denis district around the ancient Church of St. Denis (the FIRST completely Gothic structure and resting place of French Kings and Charles “Hammertemps” Martel, has 300,00 illegal muslim immigrants.
Very few American tourists are brave enough to travel to Paris any more.
go it marine.

If Le Pen pulls off an upset in 2 weeks it’ll be a bigger deal in some ways than the Trump 2016 election.
Orban’s recent reelection (outperforming all the polls) might be foreshadowing.

Don’t know much about Le Pen, but Macron has proven himself to be a titmouse.
FRANCE: Worry galore. Third-party Melenchon came within .8% of knocking out Marine. Who is Melenchon? Well… Defund the police, the Planet is burning… you all get the idea. Crime is everywhere. I hope for a major cold snap with snow, worse a major cold summer but even that won’t wake up his supporters.
I will be apoplectic if Le Pen does not beat Macron. What I learned from the Covid19 plandemic is that a large majority of people are so afraid of catching a disease that they are willing to give up all of their freedom for a little imagined security from the dreaded disease. If Macron stokes those irrational fears, it may allow his Government to steal an election for him and suffer no reprisals.
I ask God to help us hang on to the freedom that I believe He gave to us through our founders with our Constitution.
So upset to read SUNDANCE who is 99% correct. But this time, he’s wrong.
What happened yesterday? EU Ursula von der Leyden visited Ukraine. Today, Boris Johnson. This was all coordinated to influence the vote in France.
Melenchon gave a long tirade about the poor Ukrainians just before their visit.
And that is why 3rd-party Melenchon came within .8% of striking down Marine Le Pen. His supporters are young, climate change & defund the police, pro-EU, and they vote. Also included are the Muslims.
When I saw how close the guy came to dethroning Le Pen, I was floored. And still am.
I just listened to Melenchon’s speech today where he insists all his voters must NOT vote Le Pen.
It’s over folks. Tragic. Marine knows it and Macron also.
It will be hard for Le Pen to win given the Results on the BBC:
Macron 27.35
Le Pen 23.97
Far left socialist 21.7
right winger 7.02
far left greens 4.49
Of that group Macron, the far left and greens get about 53.5% of the vote to Le Pen and right winger’s 31%. It will be an uphill battle against Macron, the EU, the media, social media etc.
I guess turn out will need to lift for Le Pen and hopefully the socialists and greens stay at home rather than vote for Macron. Here’s hoping for an upset win by Le Pen.
Won’t happen. Wokesters will vote woke.
