Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Great Good Morning Treeps. You’re some of my favorite peeps. 🤟🎚🤟
Good morning, dear Frank.💓
Mornin’ Frank
Good morning, dear brother!
Morning, G💓 Freezing here with wind chill added. So I’m doing the school run today and just learned the boys didn’t wear coats!!! A least they wore long pants and it their usual shorts. I guess boys will be boys… But HONESTLY!!!😠
Good Day Treeps, Was invited by son to take a ride to the ocean today – the winds and seas were high and the sun broke through. Glorious Day made by God. Trying my hand at roasted parsnips today for first time… I’ll take a vote after dinner 🙂
Get it, I’m waiting in line picking up the nipper.
.
.
.
😂 can someone order me a case? I’ve worn out six waiting for my da$& modem. Grrrrr, hssssss. 😜
No can do, my 27 took their toll 😁
Good morning, Mungrel🤗
Good morning, son!
Morning, Cat💓 I really understand your frustration. How is it being delivered?
Hi Betsy 🙋♀️ at this point I’m thinking carrier pigeon and I’m going to eat it for lunch when it arrives. Seriously, vis ups home delivery. I finally got a tracking number late last night.
Mornin’ FC! ❤️
May you have more blessings and less frustrations today. And I still want to know how Leon got a hold of your picture yesterday?
😂😂😂😂!!!!!
Perfect example of the ‘chip shortage’ problem these days – LGB 🙁
FYI. Pigeons taste good roasted with salt. 😉
Good morning, Betsy! I an a little late to the party this morning, but had to help DW with the email she was trying to send out.
I got tired of her having to fight the Office 365 on her Windows computer and switched her to Mac. Now have to help her until she gets completely comfortable with using it. But I’d rather do that than having to figure out how things did or didn’t work on Windows.
I have never had a desktop Mac before but have had a Mac book for a few years so my learning curve is tiny.
Last year I got her a Linux based laptop but the problem is that the program that she uses to edit her writing is available only for Windows and Mac.
Have a blessed day.
Well she’s smarter than I am. Computers intimidate me. Fortunately I’m living with a guy who knows them inside out and has built a few. I’m always afraid I’ll hit the wrong key and blow the whole thing up. Stupid I know. I was not built for this tech world. Good luck to you both!!
😁 I’m on a computer call 24/7.
So glad to hear it, GrandpaM, as you are now my new computer guru. 😀 🤠 😘
I see it worked, LS.A computer guru I am not. Just learning a few little things here and there by trial and error.
But I try to help when it’s not above my pay grade, which is free 😁.
I am very happy that you found your emojis.
Blessings!
Good afternoon GrandpaM.
I switched from Windows to Mac in 2009 and never looked back. Since then I abandoned MS-Office products and have converted my home “office” productivity entirely to a product called Open Office, from Apache, a long time software manufacturer of server and network operating systems.
Open Office is completely free, open source, and roughly like MS Office (excluding an email client), but has enough differences (in menu structure, editing and formatting operations, etc.) that it must be learned gradually. Fortunately there are plenty of web-based resources to learn how to use the product efficiently.
I learned how to use it intuitively at the beginning, without reading any help guides. But infrequently I have to seek “how to” information when a less-often used formatting or other command is not readily apparent from the visible menus. My son also uses the product on his Windows 10 laptop. Apache makes versions for Mac or Windows platforms.
See: https://www.openoffice.org/
Thanks, GB, I’ve known about Open Office for a long time. My Linux laptop has a open source office program which name escapes me right now.
For my bride since she does some writing and is a member of a couple of writing groups it has to be very specific. She uses a program called ProWriting Aid that works only on Windows and Mac OS so we’ll have to stick with Pages for her. Still a lot more user friendly than the Office 365.
Ahh. Pages. I have all of the Apple productivity software on my laptop but have never really used them after my initial look-see was less than satisfying. But software preference is very individual – different strokes for different folks . Glad she is able to remain productive on the Mac.
The Pro Writing thing is the main thing
GB, the Linux open source software is called Libre office, I like it very much. The only little glitch in the beginning was that I had to install an add on for scripts like Times New Roman, etc. Oddly enough they are owned by MS and had to get a permission to use which was free for personal use and gets taken care during the installation process.
Oh yes. My son actually got the “Libre Office” version for his Windows laptop. We compared and it’s very similar to the Apache version that I use. I think they are both from the same origin / open source code.
Manuel Barrueco Chick Correa
In my opinion, Sometime Ago is one of the most import classical guitar albums ever recorded. If you pay attention to the production qualities, you’ll quickly understand that Barrueco had partnered one of the absolute best producers and recording engineers who could capture the absolute best classical guitar sound. The first time I heard a selection from Sometime Ago I knew I was listening to something very special. Last time i checked you can still buy the CD on Amazon and other sites. If you like this kind of music, I highly recommend Manuel’s iconic CD.
Garrison,
Guess who is coming to Dallas to play for the Classical Guitar Society here……..
David Russell. He is Scottish, I think, but lives in Spain. He is flying in from Spain to Dallas to perform next Thursday March 3. Supposed to be one of the best.
Are you familiar with his work?
P.S. my friend, who has tickets to this concert, said that he once had the privilege of being on the second row when Andre Segovia played here in Dallas many years ago.
One more . . .
Garrison, with your obviously extensive musical knowledge, I’ve been wondering whether you might know of any America First parallel-economy equivalent to audio hosting services, of which the primary example is SoundCloud?
Maybe other treepers who check out your music posts here might know of something like that…
I’d like to be able to post some original tunes without video, and without Globalarchy tracking. Monetization features not necessary. ☺️
Thanks for any ideas!
Sadly, Steph I’m afraid I can’t offer help. I just find stuff on Youtube and then upload it here. I’m profoundly modest in my internet skills.
Excellent artistry on display in these.
Thanks Garrison.
One of my all time favorites . . . Barrueco’s phrasing, especially on Bookends and Old Friends is exceptional. Also, his Robert Ruck guitar is a truly great instrument. 🙂

BOND, JAMES BOND
Vodka Martini. Shaken, not stirred.
Bore da, Treepers!
Glory to God for all things.
Amen to that brother!
I thought she’s a sis. I’m wrong?
No, you are not wrong. 🙂
Whew. Good thing. I was having strange visions of when you went to that ball last week and how you fit into those spiked heels. 😂
No worries. Flats were all the rage in 1800, so historical dance is best performed in flats. Those who wear heels are barefoot in 5 minutes, particularly if they care for their ankles. 🙂
Greetings back Lonestar 🌟
Sorry I can’t do all the cool emoji’s you all do. I’m on a laptop and can only manage a smiley face.
Like the star. it made me 🙂
Good morning, Lonestar! If your laptop have Windows there should be plenty of descriptions how to do the emojis if you use the search engine like DuckDuckGo, Brave now has it’s own search engine, etc. I try to never use anything goggle 😎.
If it is a Mac book you just right click in the box where you are writing and a window opens with emojis on the very top. Click to open, then double click on the emoji and voila.
😎 😀 🤠 😇 😍
!Eureka! GrandpaM you are a genius. Thank you!
Y’all are in trouble now…..GrandpaM has created an emoji monster. 😂
Now I’m going to have to learn what all these emojis mean. Oh wait, if you hold curser on them, it tells you what they are. yikes. emoji monster, indeed. 😘 😋 🙃 🤔 😅
Well, they all seem to work.
Thank you GrandpaM for opening up a whole new world for me! 🤗
😂🤗😜🙃
Betsy,
I am headed your way on Saturday. Would you like a cup of tea? 🙂
Frank,
I’ll be in your neck of the woods next week. Care for a pint?
cheers 🙂
😢
Awww mungrel. You’re welcome at my house anytime ❤️
Everyone else has an open invitation too. Just need to find my house on the north east side of country 😎
I’m a bit over 8 mungrel yrs but was banished never to leave my hunting grounds when I was a pup!
GWB. One. Melbourne
Look at the date !
All your letter agencies too.
If I were too explain all I would fail.
All I can say is I believe in God and belong to no nominations at all.
All my life has been a fight.
I really don’t know any other, but what I do know is good and bad and love and peace.
Enough now.
Didn’t drink enough coffee to understand so early today. Have to think about it

Joshua 14:7-12 ESV ✝️
M, plenty of room at my little place, too.
You are welcome at my house too, Mungrel, next time you are in Texas. Don’t know that I will ever be in Australia again to take you out for a pint.

I’d be out for the day after a pint of shine 🤪.
Me too, to tell you the truth.
LOL! 🥃🧊
Bore da, LS😊. And here are we headed out for a visit with our far away grands, Cariad. Joy on one hand and disappointment on the other. May I take a raincheck for another time, as surely there will be one?🤗🙏
Of course. I’ll be on a specific mission anyway, so a raincheck is appropriate.
Safe travels and may your visit go spectacularly.
Oh bless you. What a wonderful invitation to see this morning. I do thank you so much💓 I hope all goes well for your mission, with a safe journey to and back.😊
I’m just glad this ice storm is not hitting us on the weekend.
Hieromartyr Polycarp, bishop of Smyrna (167)
He was born at Ephesus around the year 70. St Irenaeus of Lyons, his disciple, says that St Polycarp was ‘a disciple of the Apostles and acquainted with those who had seen the Lord.’ His parents died as martyrs, and he was given into the care of a devout lady named Callista. As a child, the Saint was so eager to follow the commandments of Christ that he repeatedly emptied his foster-mother’s pantry to feed the poor. Since her supplies were always miraculously renewed, Callista changed his name from Pancratius to Polykarpos, meaning ‘Much fruit.’
When grown, Polycarp became a disciple of St John the Theologian, and in time became Bishop of Smyrna; it is told that the messages to the Church at Smyrna in the Book of Revelation are addressed to St Polycarp and his flock. He knew St Ignatius of Antioch personally, and some of their correspondence is preserved.
Polycarp led his Church in holiness for more than fifty years, and became known throughout the Christian world as a true shepherd and standard-bearer of the Faith. About the year 154 he traveled to Rome and consulted with Pope Anacletus on the defense of the Faith.
Not long after he returned to Smyrna, a fierce persecution was unleashed against Christians in Asia Minor; along with many others, St Polycarp was arrested, having predicted his imminent martyrdom. (The account of his martyrdom that follows is based on eyewitness accounts gathered immediately after his death.)
On the evening of Holy Friday, soldiers burst into the farmhouse where he was staying. The Bishop welcomed them cheerfully, and ordered that a meal be prepared for them. He was granted some time to pray, and for two hours stood commemorating everyone that he had known and praying for the Church throughout the world. His captors sorrowed that they had come to take such a venerable man, and reluctantly took him to the Proconsul. When urged to deny Christ and save his life, the aged Saint replied, ‘For eighty-six years I have been his servant, and he has wronged me in nothing; how can I blaspheme my King and Savior?’ Told that he would die by fire if he did not apostatize, Polycarp replied ‘You threaten me with a fire that burns for a short time and then goes out, while you know nothing of the fire of the judgment to come and of the everlasting torment awaiting the wicked. Why wait any longer? Do what you will!’
Placed on the pyre, Polycarp lifted his eyes heavenward and gave thanks to God for finding him worthy to share with the holy Martyrs of the cup of Christ. When he had said his Amen, the executioners lit the fire. The eyewitnesses write that the fire sprang up around him like a curtain, and that he stood in its midst glowing like gold and sending forth a delightful scent of incense. Seeing that the fire was not harming him, the executioners stabbed him with a sword. His blood flowed so copiously that it put out the fire, and he gave back his soul to God. His relics were burned by the persecutors, but Christians rescued a few fragments of bone, which were venerated for many generations on the anniversary of his repose.
Any word about which apostles he knew?
Paul was at both Ephesus and Smyrna, but he dies in Rome before Polycarp’s birth.
John was at Ephesus, and I read somewhere that he assigned Polycarp to lead the church at Smyrna. So, he is one.
James died earlier in Acts. And Peter is thought to have died in Rome, also before Polycarp’s birth.
That leaves a big hole in my knowledge. Where did the other apostles travel and die? The latter is findable online, but doesn’t answer my first question.
Point of interest: There is no indication in the Bible that Peter died in Rome, ever traveled to Rome or was ever in Rome.
According to the Bible, Peter, the apostle to the Jews (“the circumcision”), remained in Jerusalem during the persecution and Dispersion (as documented by Luke, Acts 8:1), writing his two encouraging epistles (1 Peter and 2 Peter) to his fellow Jewish believers (1 Peter 1:1) from there.
There is a rich heritage of traditions handed down through the early church. Letters, documents, testimonials, biographies, history, etc.
There are the uncertain traditions of fallible men, and there is the certainty of infallible Scripture, the “belief of the truth” 2 Thess. 2:13 (interestingly today’s top post).
Others can follow whatever and whomever they wish.
My authority is the written Word of God.
Actually, Acts and Paul’s Epistles have Peter traveling outside Jerusalem sometime after Acts 8:1. Read Ch 8, 9 and 10 again, and you will find Peter outside of Jerusalem. He returns in 11.
Though it is not clear how often he was in Jerusalem after being imprisoned by Herod and escaping by angel. Peter left the area after sending a message that he was free. But after Herod’s death is mentioned Acts turns to Paul. Peter is in Jerusalem to stand up for Paul and the Gentiles not being circumscribed in 15.
Frankly, I have always been troubled by James having the final say. (And When Paul complained about Peter deferring to James in Galatians.) Two apostles were named James, and the main one was already killed by Herod. There was also James the Brother of Jesus, who took over a leading role in Jerusalem and it was this James. How did he go from calling Jesus crazy (Mark 6:3) to taking over the church in Jerusalem from Peter?
Josephus (not Christian) tells about James being thrown from the walls of Jerusalem and stoned, a few years before Jerusalem was destroyed. Though like most things ancient, there are different accounts.
And the first epistle of Peter implies he wrote it from Babylon. He sends their greetings, together with greetings from his son. (Read the end.)
Good post. I know Peter left Jerusalem. Every place the Bible mentions Peter’s presence outside of Jerusalem though is either in greater Israel or Israel’s immediate environs. Peter is never located overseas to the west, traveling the Mediterranean Sea beyond Israel, to where Rome was.
“Babylon” (1 Peter 5:13) was likely a code name for Jerusalem, employed to disguise the letter’s origin and / or to reflect unbelieving Jerusalem’s spiritual state (i.e. ‘she [the church] here in hostile Jerusalem’).
Even if literal geographic Babylon is meant it was east of Jerusalem, going in the opposite direction from Italy.
Paul visited Peter (Cephas) in Jerusalem (Galatians 1:18). Fourteen years later he returned to Jerusalem with Barnabas and Peter was still there (Galatians 2:7-9).
There are two Antiochs in the New Testament. This one (Galatians 2:11), Antioch of Syria, is north of Jerusalem. It is the Antioch mostly mentioned throughout the book of Acts. The other Antioch falls over 1000 miles short of Italy. Neither Antioch has anything to do with the location of Rome.
James, the Lord’s brother, (Are you sure you meant Mark 6:3?) certainly became a believer after Christ’s resurrection. He would have gained wide respect and a leadership role. The precise situation with the Jerusalem Council is unknown.
“Mark, my son” is of course John Mark, and reflects a warm mentoring relationship. The Gospel of Mark is widely understood to be Peter’s account told to Mark.
So again, nothing in the Bible indicates that Peter died in Rome or was ever even in Rome.
<< Mark 6:3
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
>>
Sounds like they were offended at Christ, including his family, some called out by name.
Reread what you wrote in your 3:38 pm post.
You still believe that’s what Mark 6:3 says?
Polycarp was a disciple of the apostle John. more on him here:
https://earlychurch.com/polycarp-disciple-of-the-apostle-john/
and here: https://christianhistoryinstitute.org/study/module/polycarp/
I can’t remember where all the other apostles travelled. Some places that come to mind are Anatolia, Cappadocia, Georgia. Thomas went to India. Tradition has it that Joseph of Aramathea went to England. He was a tin trader, and England had tin mines. Peter was bishop of Antioch for a while.
I think one of the Apostles went to Armenia, but don’t remember who it was.
Yes, I believe you are right, GrandpaM.
The contemplation of such daunting journeys in those times is truly overwhelming. Many, I’m sure, having no certainty on arriving but having the faith that they would do so.
Thanks Lonestar, those were interesting.
I really liked the part about his letter quoting gospels and epistles.
In ways like this we learn some of the books of the New Testament were already well established as authoritative during his time leading the Church in Smyrna.
I really am disgusted by the efforts to date everything as late as possible.
Faith of a child!
Imagine if we all took God at his word as polycarp did.
I have journeyed so far from that place. I truly long for its return.
I do believe we are from eternity, we are eternal from the start and know such things as children, or why describe it as such in Gods word?
Like a smiths hammer the world beats on us until we relent our knowledge of such magnificent eternal knowledge.
To even get a glimpse of heaven is elating.
May God grant you many years……
Thanks a lot, Lonestar.
I read today’s readings in USCCB and noticed that we honor this saint today, but knew nothing about him.
This information is good to know.
You are welcome. 🙂
Today my Mom and I were talking about the use of the word “Honey” – when calling people that indiscriminately, all over the place and she realized that she uses it so fluidly, everyone is “Honey” and she doesn’t think twice about it – but maybe she shouldn’t, maybe it would offend some people nowadays . . . that it is not being respectful to them . . .
I told her that I think in her case I don’t think she should worry about it overly much that people will take offense because in the first place, “what the world needs now is love, sweet love, that’s the only thing that there’s much too little of” (to quote a song) . . . and you are just shining your light of love, you see, because you want people to know that they ARE sweet and good . . .
like honey . . .
so they shouldn’t get really that mad . . .
I don’t want your blood pressure to go up over THAT!
(we avoid watching very much news, we read a lot and do puzzles)
plus, my other point was that as she is going to be 94 years old this year, doesn’t she think that should bring some perks with it, like being allowed to call everyone “Honey”?
I mean, for heaven’s sakes, I think people start getting advance notices of AARP membership offers when they turn 50 years old!
Also, we are realizing a wonderful thing, that my dear Mom at her age has missed the window of opportunity, just like her own mother, who nearly made it to 100 (by three weeks) with her mind wonderfully sharp.
You see, Mom took beautiful care of my stepdad all their life together and when he was diagnosed with dementia (possible Alzheimer’s) in 2000, she resolved to keep him home always if at all possible and I was able to help her do that – he passed away on the day after his 98th birthday (in 2015) sitting in his recliner, on a Saturday afternoon, between the two of us, holding our hands.
He was not on hospice or anything – only took one pill (Namenda), but dear God took him that day, being at home, not in a scary place or alone. We are grateful we were able to carry out that heartfelt desire, to watch over him. And we are grateful for all the blessings of good health for ourselves.
There are so many awful, terrible things going on right now and so I am taking a “time out” again to express gratitude for all the blessings that dear God has given us, to be together, to be able to praise the Lord, and remember what Padre Pio said, “pray, hope and don’t worry”.
We say that a lot!
Susan, what a beautiful send off he had! Bittersweet tears mixed with sadness, thinking of today’s mixed up world.
I think the world is a better place with your mom, you and all like minded people in it. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I appreciate that, Feral Cat . . . thank you!
Wonderfully profound story.
Good to see that keeping up the family tradition of looking after those that have looked after you is your heart.
Honey, the word was used extensively by my female relatives, I never thought much of it, but then again they told me I was a cute pup !
My veteran Grandfather lived to 101 and was sharp as a whistle also, being Irish descent and on his hundreth birthday he got the queens telegram, well I can’t repeat most of what he said but I can quote this ” don’t give me that bloody thing, I’ll wipe me arse with it” !
This was at the great dismay of all the old “biddys” there.
My father bought some beer and pipe tobacco, he loved talking about subjects that nobody else really wanted to know about.
Young mungrel was aloud to have a beer with the old boy, I was 11.
Some memorys stick, some don’t, but words are always honey.
Great post.
You really are a poet with your words, M. Another poignant story. Your life has been so enriched by the people in it, even though it has been a hard one. What a lucky man you are.💓
thank you, Mungrel . . .
maybe being Irish has something to do with my Mom and Grandmother and HER Mother, all being sharp and even my Mom’s great-grandfather that came from County Clare and lived to 103, sharp as a tack and hating Queen Victoria, don’t bring up Queen Victoria to him.
We who grew up with everyone around, including grandparents, great-grandparents, are very blessed!
Amen.

The Story We Carry In Our Bones
Written by an American woman of Irish descent. She is a storyteller, so the book reads like a story.
The author is from the Pennsylvania area.
I think your advice is wonderful. I think the way you honor her and did him is wonderful.
I think your heart of gratitude is unspeakably beautiful.
thank you, Frank!
How wonderful your stepdad was able to be in the care of those who loved him, and not in the hands of strangers, the truest blessing of all. And God bless your dear mother who was able to keep her promise. Good health is a very great gift, perhaps the greatest.
God go with you, Susan, and your mother. I am so happy you both will be able to enjoy each other’s company still. B
yes, it means so much, more than ever, seeing what is going on in the world –
God bless you Susan, and your mom. My grandfather kept my grandmother at home when she had “hardening of the arteries” and she got to die at home. Not too many people do that any more.
I agree with you. Age has its perks, one of which is saying things that we might not have said when younger. Glad to hear she still uses the term of endearment “honey”. Warms my heart to hear it.
Gratitude is key to our life in Christ.
Blessings to you and your mom.
thank, Lonestar . . . blessings to you, too!
gratitude . . . yes, it is essential, we think!
Bless you Susan! Beautiful story.
thank you, GrandpaM!

I hate wind farms!
We got the bird choppers too, you wanna try read the bullshit information they give to have them installed, proper lawyer gibberish aimed at extracting land from landowners in the future and fake legal access forever for a PRIVATE company on your land.
I’ll add , at a said lifespan of twenty years %he owner of the property by law (theirs) is obliged to pay the bill,
Upon removal date 150 grand is the current price.
They are paying 65 grand for every birdchopper erected !
In 25 yrs what will be the price to dismantle and dispose of a windchopper .
The anwser is your land.
mornin’ Mungrel
Not to mention that both the solar panels and the windmill blades are super toxic and there is no plan (no way?) to recycle or bury them.
And the choppers are filled with oil to make the moving parts work. So when the contraption is taken down, the oil spills all over the ground.
Yes oil…the stuff that keeps the world running, and which the reprehensible God hating cult worshipping greens wish to stop. No oil? No environmentally destructive and woefully inefficient tools.
…and I love you for it…
Agreed.
Yesterday while I was thinking about the truckers in Canada, Queen came on the radio-
“We are the Champions” very fitting.
Ever hear of chynuh?
Yeah. That nation. You know, the one that has 165 Belt and Road agreements around the globe…
https://www.faithwire.com/2022/02/17/chinas-communist-government-is-reportedly-rewriting-the-bible-and-calling-jesus-a-sinner-but-thats-not-all/
Hi, Frank. I posted about this the other day. Heresy. Very sad. Hang on to your old books. The Bible is not the only one they are rewriting.
I met a woman the other day who is keeping in print certain of our country’s history books, because TPTB are trying to change it by rewriting it.
Sitting here in the dock at the first stop. Winter weather advisory starts at noon today here.
Watched a funny incident after I backed in last night. Driver on a Freightliner classic tried to swing a 180 out in the street and didn’t make it.
He was stuck in the mud jacked at over 90 deg. Managed to back a little bit then instead of backing on up and straightening he cut it harder and went forward with more power!
The moron bent his passenger side air deflector and was jacked so hard a glad hand let loose so that when he did get straightened out on the road the trailer brakes were set and he drug the rear tires, flat spotting them before he realized what had happened.
Stupid is as stupid does.
And there is all this preposterous talk of self-driving trucks as the future.
It shows an amazing level of ignorance of the real world.
Read a great essay the other day on the differences between the Virtuals and the Physicals:

Well, for these turbulent times, I pray for all, the good and the bad, the brave and the cowardly (like me, punished for fighting city hall).
I just read this one article over at BB today, and I fear for the Peoples Convoy. Their organizers are speaking much like the organizers of the Canadian Freedom Convoy…talking about their goals and determinations, logistics, security, etc and how this involves people from all walks of American life. It has an eerie sound to it…deja vu and I hope and pray I am wrong.
I lift up prayers for safe travels and their goals to be met!
We’ve said the same…too much showing of their hands and plans. Way too much. The enemy now has the time and information to do that worst. I pray for them all.
Once again I don’t have all the check sheets. Shipper is e-mailing to ask for them.
Where is John Galt.
I had a recent conversation with daughter on this subject. Funny, I just assumed she had knowledge of atlas shrugged and John galt. She was extremely intrigued when I explained the meaning. Wonder what else I’m assuming she’s aware of. This mom better step up her game 😉
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.
Verse of the Day for Wednesday, February 23, 2022
✟
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
John 15:7 (KJV)
BE MY VOICE
BABY LIVES MATTER
I’m at my 2nd stop in Mexico. Though I read it many years ago I’m listening to U.S. Grants personal memoirs again.
Grant was in this town early in the war. Missouri was a hot bed of Confederate sentiment.
Mornin’ infidels.
Say it Loud
Say it PROUD
I read about Thomas, the trans swimmer destroying the ideologues arguments with every race. I thought “why”? Well regardless of HIS reasons he has put all the insanity of these coexist morons front and center. Methodically silently destroying the darkness of lies. To stand with this guy will mean the demise of liberal arguments.
You see, the soccer moms and baseball dads, the acrobatic gymnastics and all other child sports want to go on. The woke crowd want to sidestep this tidal wave Thomas. They say “put him in a separate class, the all inclusive class.” Ha, I say ha, and laugh loudly at the reversal of logic.
So are we all equal or not. The answer is sprouting like an oak tree through a concrete runway. You poured that concrete to keep Thomas out but now he has destroyed all of your hard work, silently, alone, “as an island” .
So that mom or dad who says “give them their own classification” string them up, right? They don’t include everyone.
Or let’s say the obvious, men are men and should be proud of it. Women are women and should be cherished. And a transgender is a person with a psychological problem. Just like a gay person or pedophile, read the manual it explains the issues. It’s called sin but means separating from God, it lands you away from his spirit the only thing that is hope. They are figuratively and literally lost.
MMA transgender fighters are breaking these female fighters to pieces, literally. All cool? It’s not!
Eventually all will collapse because it’s all lies. And breaking down lies, they cannot continue to exist they are not from God. Truth always brings the best outcome. Truth doesn’t have to be followed obviously, but it will always destroy lies, always.
One last thought, how many dads would think it okay to allow a college aged man to undress and watch his daughter undress in the same confined space as a bathroom? You have to lie to yourself to believe that would be justifiable. And that is the issue, all lies. Thomas has stripped them all of their hypocrisy.
THE GREAT RESET! Psalms 2 has the thumbnail of how that works out.
How many dads? One is too many. And yet there seem to be quite a few. And this above all, I do not understand.
Hopefully the link works. Bolton admits there was a shadow govt undermining Trump. Starts about 1:20
This makes me so glad Bolton failed to run his shadow govt.
BTW she claimed Trump was the first president to meet with Putin. Lying or just ignorant?

The pieces are falling into place. Isn’t it amazing that we are alive to see what was prophesied 2.000 years ago, actually happening. Even time itself seems to be speeding up. I am thinking of Revelation 13 in particular.

It’s creepy and yet wonderful at the same time.
Anyone else noticing ATMs not working and more frequent cash replenishment at the bank ATMs? I’ve been moving my deposits out and have been noticing this. Coincidence? Maybe I don’t go to the banks often enough.
felt the need to give this a listen again.
“all hail the mutineers….”
Me too. Thanks zoom ❤️
What do you think about credit unions in this day and age? Any better than banks at this point? I’m praying they are somewhat more anti-fragile than the banks. I know the credit unions have slightly different rules, such as a different FDIC-like organization, and have a shares system versus deposit system.
We got out of a bank and moved to a credit union.
Probably each CU in each state has a different set of rules that are worth investigation
But – one big difference – the word you used – shares – as in you are an owner
Depending on how many CU choices are in your area, and how much time you have to investigate, it will probably be worth your time to visit the person in charge and ask your questions.
They will all likely have a web presence with good info on their policies and requirements.
Are they safe places for your $$ if the feds want to freeze the account? That’s the BIG question.
PS – not sure if this makes any difference – we have no credit cards. Use 1 debit card only.
There are a number of really fun articles at AmericanThinker today
This one fickled my tanc – https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2022/02/california_startup_promises_to_connect_conservative_consumers_with_likeminded_companies.html
Start up company will make it easy for us to find companies who think like we do – making buying easier. We have had lists of companies we want to avoid – but that didn’t give us a ‘where to go’.
I cheered at this one, too – https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2022/02/senator_rick_scotts_promising_11point_plan_to_drain_the_swamp_and_fulfill_the_maga_agenda.html
It’s a 10 point plan that has lots of familiar ‘goodies’ from the MAGA perspective
Happy reading
well – it sounded like a good idea. This response from the President Politics page

Follow all the links…to the names of people and companies that appear. Two that appear in a web search:
Michael Seifert the CEO of PublicSq
David Chiddick – — The Koffie Co.
Lots dead end links, vague information, some good some bad, etc.
I would not give these people a dime. It smells like a fly by night money collecting and bitcoin operation that suddenly goes out of business with ALL the money collected.
“Allons-y Ta-doe!”
