For our non-Canadian friends, our Senate is quite different from the American version. Senators are not elected (although an attempt was made to change that..). Rather, the prime minister appoints Senators for life (up to age 75). There is a loose party system and typically a lot of Senators are party hacks and bagmen. But some Senators take the role seriously. I recently read Dr. Scott Atlas’ book, “A Plague on Our House”, about his time on the Task Force and it was very interesting AND incredibly frustrating! He absolutely “got it” early on and had good, well-researched, scientific data about how best to treat the Plandemic but he was shut down over and over again by bureaucrats and political hacks! He specifically called out Dr. Deborah Birx as an incompetent harridan, Mike Pence as a career bureaucrat who couldn’t (or wouldn’t) make a decision to save his life, and Jared Kirshner as the main roadblock to Donald Trump firing the whole lot of them because it wouldn’t “play well” in the press!
All in all, a very good read and it confirmed a lot of what we here at the Treehouse suspected was happening behind the scenes. He did say, at the end of the day, that he faulted President Trump for allowing others to influence him rather than going with his gut instincts about the lockdowns and the Task Force…can’t say that I disagree, TBH!

Just got back from an extended stay in the arrive alive state and I am not impressed. And I pay taxes there. I worked there, too.
I also have it on good intel that hospitals, and I know which ones and so do my family, get uninsured drug addict patients stoned out of their minds, coming in because the feel “sick”, security tell them to leave, they don’t because they are not aware of what is being said and cannot comprehend or are truly too sick, the police are then called, the individual is then arrested for “trespassing” and brought to the county jail and booked on said charge, totally unaware of what has transpired until the come down from the high or sober up.
People under the influence of substances detract from the waiting room decor.
So, buyer beware. Your pretty little hospital is not as squeaky clean as they like to make you think.
At least our hospitals in Florida are not full of preggie invader blimps pumping out little anchors 24/7 like in SOME states.
