All the Rs have to say is the truth: it’s a manufactured crisis brought on by the incompetence of the Biden administration.

I have been absent for quite a while – business/professional issues that needed to be solved, financial difficulties for awhile, then the dreaded Omicrom-Covid struck – ~Jan 20. Kids and Grandkids easy peasy, just a little fever, over with quickly.

“Two top prosecutors working on the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation into the Trump Organization resigned Wednesday, leaving the years-old probe without two key players as it appeared to have entered a crucial phase.
Carey Dunne and Mark Pomerantz submitted their resignations to the DA’s office, Danielle Filson, a spokeswoman for the office, told CNN in a statement, adding that “we are grateful for their service. The investigation is ongoing. We can’t comment further.”
The New York Times first reported the prosecutors’ resignations. CNN has reached out to Pomerantz and Dunne for comment. “Waaaaah. Waaaaaaah, you can’t stop now,” said anyone at CNN.
The resignations come as the new Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, has “indicated to them that he had doubts about moving forward with a case against” former President Donald Trump; citing conversations with people with knowledge of the matter. The New York Times whined that “the precise reasons for Mr. Bragg’s pullback are unknown,” noting that “he has made few public statements about the status of the inquiry since taking office.”
CNN breathlessly reported in December that the investigation appeared to be coming to a head; with prosecutors focusing on the accuracy of the Trump Organization’s financial statements … according to anonymous people (ghosts) familiar with the matter.
Apparently we are seeing yet another witch hunt against President Trump falling apart.

What a sad waste of a career to be assigned to these bullshit cases. Unless prosecutors are political ideologues getting promise of something from somewhere, I have to think that this would be really dreary work for a lawyer, looking for a case, pointlessly, and likely in vain, that doesn’t exist, in order to make some boss somewhere happy.

As expected (and detailed below), the Biden administration has decided to reverse last year’s decision to waive sanctions on the corporate entity and CEO behind the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, reverting to former President Trump’s sanctions policy on the critical pipeline.
Too late and geee…just what the Germans want and Russia has no problem supporting. A land pipeline is cheaper to build and maintain than a sea bed pipeline. Plus any delays just add more cost to EU fuel.
Russia is an OPEC member and no doubt has some influence on the share of the EU market they are guaranteed to have, free and clear. So, it will be Russian Fuel through German Spigots no matter if pumped via Nord Stream or through pipelines being negotiated through the Ukraine.
By the way, in news today the EU is set to sanction Hungary and Romania for not playing nice on allot of fronts. Guess where Black Sea and proposed Ukraine Land Pipelines to EU-Germany run??
The Germans also own a substantial part of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline with other EU members having smaller fractional stakes. So, we will see how far this goes.
