There are people that swear there is an elaborate underground tunnel system complete with cities under the US. Theory is that they are being built by next gen tunneling systems.

One way, receive a pkg in mail you didn’t order, vendor(California)claims it’s from a sweepstakes for an iPad and buds. (you didn’t enter), you can’t cancel and there’s a monthly club charge. Not just one monthly club charge but five, with a new credit card they illegally obtained after your original one stopped the iPad charge. You can’t just cancel (unless you’re as knowledgeable,as my girl was, about the ins and outs legally and challenged the vendor to decide how you’re going forward- press charges on vendor on the various ways they violated the law as well as federal regs on use of P.O. Boxes or desire to be seen as a victim, when police report is filed. Credit bureau can’t help yet, it’s too soon to show up on your report. The person this happened to needs to check credit reports till at least April. This is just one example.
There’s more, computers going wacky messing with service calls scheduled, your credit card monthly statements sent to a previous address, fake bank calls showing up on caller if as the bank, and so on.
Personally, I’m taking some extra steps to attempt to fight it. Starting with reporting all cards lost and obtaining new ones, enrollment of card monitoring of charges(don’t assume your card does it automatically) and so on.
It’s happening. consider yourself fortunate if it hasn’t happened to you, yet.

If you go to Equifax you can put an alert on your account. I believe they contact all of the other credit agencies. No one can look at your credit or open a credit line, except yourself. It is free of charge.

Add to small pox…it destroys one’s appearance while sick and also, if one survives. That sort of sign or symptom, would set off hysteria on steroids.

I used to take some comfort in that information popping up on the CDC website about 18 months ago.

They are also equipped better for off-road work since that’s part of the military’s mission. I’ve seen such recovery units at our local Army Nat’l Guard in years past; no idea what they have now. I’m pretty competent on hydraulics since I repaired them for decades but the new digital controls are more like a video game and if one isn’t good at that it’s a learning curve. Doable though. The younger military guys would likely pick it up fast.
We’ll see how things go since the first groups in the U.S. convoy are leaving today. If anyone knows trucking-related logistics, they do. The whole D.C. permit thing could be a ruse just to keep the government on edge. Plenty of points to make without actually entering D.C. Learn from Ottawa, plenty of lessons there.
The convoy leaders need to have a clear-cut, definitive list of demands. The Canadians did a great job of that and stayed on message. They got five or so provinces to drop vax passports, etc., so they can claim a big success.

My son got a ticket for no helmet when he was just 12 years old. That is 18 years ago. He had a helmet but didn’t like to wear it. The bike cop told him he had lost his own son from a biking accident and didn’t want that to happen to anyone again.
But, we all grew up without helmets or seat belts in the car. Obviously, it is better to wear a seat belt and a helmet, better safe than sorry. But, choice is the issue.
Here in Mexifornia while out walking dogs one night I witnessed a young girl riding an unlit electric moped with no helmet yet was wearing a surgical mask. Her father was the car behind her slowly following while illuminating the road for her. Peak clown world has been reached.

I was going to go to a concert down there last year until I learned they were going to have mask mandates and proof of vaccination and I decided to skip out. Luckily same band is coming to TN later this year and the place isn’t mandating anything. So they can have my money instead.

House and Senate Democrats are on “suicide watch” as President Joe Biden is currently on pace to break his own illegal immigration records, a new analysis suggests.
In 2021, Biden set new records for illegal immigration by enticing more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens to take the often deadly journey through Mexico to the nation’s southern border in the hopes of being released into the U.S. interior.
Steven Kopits with Princeton Policy Advisors accurately predicted last year’s illegal immigration levels under Biden.
“The trend is clearly headed in the wrong direction,” Kopits wrote at the time.
Now, based on January’s illegal immigration levels, Kopits is projecting that Biden will break his own record set last year by bringing 2.1 million border crossers and illegal aliens to the U.S.-Mexico border.
