A disturbing video [Full Video Link] shows a seriously unstable set of Ottawa police officers targeting and arresting an 80-year-old man for the crime of blowing his car horn (I think).
A shorter version of this video is going viral on social media as the Ottawa police department begins “enhanced enforcement techniques,” at the request of municipal and provincial government officials. There’s some salty language here as the Canadian police begin to go full Australia with the arrests in/around the Freedom Protest groups.
The elderly man, albeit a little salty with the officers, was identified by police as a non-compliant threat to their authority. He is then roughly manhandled, put on the ground and eventually handcuffed and taken away. His current status is unknown. WATCH (Prompted)

When the time comes and push comes to shove I believe the police that have not yet walked away from the job will indeed carry out the orders from a government that demands obedience. They will do as others have done thru out history and put their boot on your neck and lock you up for seeking justice and freedom. Anyone in that line of work clearly sees where this is going and if they remain on the job, they have in fact made their decision already. I do not back the blue. My respect is saved for those who walked away from being the tyrant’s henchmen.
These truckers are only protesting that they not be forced to take an experimental jab that does not stop you from infection nor stop you from spreading covid. In fact, the only immunity involved is given to the pharmaceutical companies removing your recourse from irreparable damages from taking an experimental MRNA messenger cocktail. Once the jab is received it cannot be undone. No one on this planet can say what the long term effects will be so you are being forced to inject this unknown substance into your blood stream. People have died, people have been permanently harmed. This is not safe or effective. They asked, bribed and now demand that you participate in this medical experiment. Nuremberg 2.0. Dl so you think this is why for a long time police departments have been allowed to refuse candidates that score too high on intelligence tests. They announced that any police officer seen as aiding or being sympathetic to protesters will be terminated.
The Canadian Government has been prevented from going full Australia by police. It was Ontario police who refused to enforce the most extreme portions of Ontario’s earlier lockdowns.
The politicians were prevented by police who simply said no.

Then they should quit. But, their pensions are more important.
Maybe what we need is a Give-Send-Go campaign for officers willing to stand up and be fired. They could be paid to provide protective support to the truckers – who also are facing economic deprivation choices – to help keep the peace, mediate disputes with the government forces.
Because they are getting paid and standing up, it may persuade other law enforcement to stand up against the tyranny. Not everyone is willing to sacrifice their family’s economic safety without a safety net. After all, it’s the tyrannical Provincial and/or Federal government that is forcing this almost impossible choice for some. Maybe we can support them in making the choice they would make if they weren’t worried about their families having food and shelter.
Canadian trucker brothers and sisters: anyone willing to set this up?
Something just as effective can be accomplished, by simply not trucking period. Means finding alternative employment temporarily, but if done by enough truckers, goods and supplies simply won’t be delivered to anywhere they want to restrict. If cops want to starve truckers, truckers can starve cops too.

I never thought I would hear myself saying this, but maybe it’s time some fear was put into the police officers themselves. I regret it will probably take some of them suffering at least minor injuries.

I believe neither benefitted from it.
However, if the motorist had peacefully complied, and the guy with the camera had quietly filmed the incident without provoking the cops, this incident would have reflected poorly only on the government.
At some point it stops being a legal dispute and becomes a physical revolt against the oppressors. The important thing is knowing when that point is reached. Your life and liberty could depend on being able to realize correctly when that day arrives.

It didn’t look like the elderly man was anywhere nearParliament House, the truckers, etc., but rather on a residential street. So, we are no longer allowed to honk our horns anywhere? What if a child is running out into the road, or a dog or a cat? Like one of the signs said yesterday: if you ever wondered whether you would comply with 1930’s Germany, now you know. Or at least this young police officer does. “I was just following orders”.

Driving is a privilege you have to show ID ,if you’re walking down the street and a cop asks for identification you can ask him or her if there is a probability of arrest if not then you do not have to show identification.

I’m going to go a step further here and speak a few more hard truths. The cops in this video showed this elderly man more respect than the coward who filmed it. And these truckers driving around wailing on their horns…it’s more of the same cowardly behavior. Every one of those horns is essentially a Siren call for SOMEONE ELSE to martyr themselves. And really, the only thing those horns have accomplished is make martyrs of the innocent people who live in the area, for the wrong reasons, who are having to put up with that crap. It’s not respectful. It’s not leading by example. This entire trucker convey started as an emotional response by the truckers to the mandates…AFTER the mandates finally affected them PERSONALY. It has never been purpose driven…even though we’ve had plenty of people jump in after the fact trying to wrap purpose around it. And yet, we have millions of dollars being thrown at it. Any business that makes an investment decisions like that isn’t in business for long.
I’m going to say it again. You’ll know the ‘protests,’ if that’s what you want to call them, are serious, by the lack of noise. Do you know why cops don’t pull over every single person who is going 1 mile an hour over the speed limit? Because they’d disrupt daily traffic flow and cause a mutiny among the public. The speed limit isn’t there to be enforced literally 100%. It never has been. Speed limits and other traffic laws have always been enforced to keep the public safety, and keep accidents and injury down to a minimum. If a mayor or police chief turns his town into a speed trap, local citizens will soon be on the phone to their councilmen or running in the next election themselves to get it stopped.
A reasonable government understands when it is overreaching its authority. It understands that if thousands of people are angry enough to do this, and the polls now show THE MAJORITY of Canadians agree, and the scientific facts are coming out daily showing these measures aren’t needed, that it needs to reverse course. According to the Winnipeg Sun the elderly man has locked shoulder and could not put his arms behind his back voluntarily and due to manhandling went straight from the police station to the ER. He is now at home but in terrible pain. His arms are covered in bruises, pictures also in the newspaper. He is a retired school janitor. This is the first time in 78 years he has ever had an encounter with police.
