At this point, the COVID-19 virus is akin to a seasonal flu. We never went to any of these lengths with flu vaccines and mandates, and we certainly never forced students to wear masks over flu concerns.

I was invited to my neighbors 95th birthday party yesterday by half her family. I say half, because the branch covidiens demanded we go along with their delusions. However, not a penny went to actual medical research trying to cure Type 1 Diabetes which primarily effects children. Fauci had the NIH direct the funds to Diabetes Education. In other words the money went to printing brochures and informational pamphlets for a immune disease that had nothing to do with lifestyle and cannot be prevented!

I was in a group of 12 women who met once a month for dinner. At the beginning of covid, everyone agreed that it might be best not to meet for a while. Last June, when CA “opened” up, they wanted to start meeting again. I politely explained that I was planning to “wait” on the vax and declined to come back. I appreciated everyone elses faith in the vax but admitted that I had yet not gotten it and wanted to take a wait and see approach. A few people said they didn’t mind but I could tell that my presence would make a lot of people uncomfortable. I backed out of the group……….permanently. Bottom line, I knew, last June, that this mass psychosis wasn’t going to go away any time soon. Some of the group would wear the mask in their own car ……with their own family members. The idea of doing that has not left me. There is absolutely no logic to that when you’re all living in the same household ALL THE TIME. So I figured what would be the point – they are never going to feel safe again. I understand that they’ve put things “on hold” again.
I don’t like being jerked around. I’m content with my decision not to get it.
I’ve certainly learned a lot about people. While a part of me misses the friends I thought I had, the bigger part of me feels the freedom to socialize with people who are more like minded with my values. I’m confident that I know who they are.
Covid has changed how people interact with one another. It can be a good thing or a sad thing – it’s all a matter of how you look at it.

So I enjoy coming here to read the comments of all those not spellbound by mass formation psychoses; but how do you find your tribe in your daily life? I live in a town in deep blue NJ that is ground zero for the crazies. This town prides itself on it’s embracement of diversity, but heaven forbid you stray from the official ideology. Yesterday I went maskless into the town grocery store (the horror!) and I was stalked by what appeared to be the butcher who repeatedly told me to mask up, which was then followed by an announcement over the loudspeaker that it was a town mandate to wear a mask. After that, 2 other employees ran up to me to give me a mask even though by that time I was checking out on the self service kiosk. When I told them I was leaving, they said I had to wear a mask anyway as I was walking out. On the online town forums there is never a dissenting opinion, I think people like me just stay quiet to avoid getting viciously attacked. I have only one neighbor who is also red pilled, but I can’t spend a lot of time talking to him because his anxiety is through the roof, and it’s draining to be around him for long. I just wish I could find someone to go out for a coffee in a public space without a mask or social distancing requirements. It’s lonely out here!
