After several justifications, she encapsulated her refusal to remove the mask mandate by saying her own kids didn’t like wearing sneakers at first, but they got used to it. There’s a huge uptick in intracranial infections that start out as sinus infections, due to the wearing of masks all the time. Unless someone put on a clean mask every 5 minutes, the masks hold bacteria on the face rather than being expelled in the fresh air. Masks have nothing to do with “science”.

I burned w/rage when a teacher friend of mine works in the school system w/ADD and other special needs type kids. I made the comment that the masks were, and w/zoom learning, was harming an entire generation of children. I told her that I had issues that they couldn’t see facial expressions to learn how to read people, very important skill to have in life, and it was a strain on the ears. I told her about another friend of mine w/a kid w/a speech impediment that said her daughter was having a particularly hard time, the speech therapy they were doing w/her was useless while having to wear a mask. Can you imagine the insanity of that one?
The teacher friend replied “oh no, you can hear them giggle under their masks and see the twinkle in their eyes. Actually wearing a mask makes them behave better”. I was burning angry to that response. The stupidity boggles my mind. She has a PhD, which quite frankly is her problem.
No way anyone will ever convince me forcing children to wear a mask isn’t harmful, traumatic, and a form of programming. We thought the Millennial Generation was bad, just wait until the Covid Generation grows up. Our only hope is the parents that homeschooled during the Rona.

My daughter is a special needs teacher. Middle school in the Denver area and she didn’t even like teaching online. Because it wasn’t helping the kids. It was her first year as a teacher as well. She had been an assistant for a couple of years for her schooling. She has some kids that probably could be masked to protect others but she would never say that out loud. She thinks that they are horrible for the kids. She has told me she hasn’t joined the union yet.
I pray that she doesn’t. She loves her (kiddos) that’s what she calls them. Even the most difficult ones she loves.
