Comrades, when we permit the government to gather private cell phone data, the government will always gather private cell phone data. In Canada the health officials have now admitted they captured, without legislative authority, the personal cell phone data and geolocation data of 33 million Canadians.
As a result, and a little late all things considered, privacy issues are being raised about the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) buying the location data of Canadian cellphone users to monitor their activity. The agency said it wanted to analyze the movement of people during the pandemic to ensure their safety and well-being.
However, the implications of a totalitarian administrative state monitoring citizens under the guise of pandemic authority, does not make everyone feel comfy. John Brassard, a conservative member of parliament, questions the pandemic surveillance and legal authority. WATCH:
.
They are only secretly monitoring you for your health comrades, promise.

Someone needs to declare this farce as “over”!
Most of us Floridians already did, AG. Aren’t you here in the Gunshine State??
It will never be over until your movement is fully controlled.
Somebody needs to finally man up and start putting these government officials in jail for breaking the law.
And if that doesn’t happen, people better be prepared to take matters into their own hands.
Canada doesn’t have a Bill of Rights. We do…now.
I’m with you. When do the adults step in and say, “Ok, that’s enough, kids.”? I mean the entire charade, from global warming to the insurrection, to the border crisis and Covid. About 30% of the total world population is brainwashed and hypnotized, but the rest of us are going crazy watching the media continually lie and spin. The other day I watched Brit Hume talk to Tucker Carlson. I like them both, but they were talking like Biden is the real President and he was cognitive. Where did the sane people go? Why does anyone give the news media the time of day? When MSNBC asks for an interview, an adult should say, “No! Fuck-off! You’re the worst kind of criminal and you don’t deserve to walk the streets. Stay away from me and my loved ones!” When does this insanity come to an end?
This was probably culled by our filters due to the “F” words…. 🙁
I’m fairly certain that this is happening in the USA. We are certain that it occurred in DC on January 6th, 2021.
Please note there is a countermeasure that ruins the accuracy.
.
Turn off locations based services ( apps ) on your phone. And turn off your GPS. It really saves the battery.
.
Yes I navigate the old fashioned way with a map and sometimes a separate GPS unit ( Garmin, Tomton ).
.
Telecom execs and tech execs do not use the GPS or any apps, voice and text only.
When you say turn gps off. Is that deleting mapping apps and wifi? Or are there other settings to shut that down. I already disable or delete most apps that come with iphone. I use an older iphone just barely in compliance with current standards. Thanks fir your help
The GPS can be turned off then back on, no impact on earasing things on Android. But I am fairly certain should be the same on Apple gear.
.
Likewise, wifi “gateways or iP portals” can be turned on or off. No impact on apps.
.
When the wish to have secure conversations, airplane mode is good.
.
For ultra secure conversations put the phone in a plastic food storage container on the outside porch while in airplane mode. Pull the ac plug on all TVs and other electronics in the location.
They can triangulate your location from three cell towers without GPS.
Triangulation is a misnomer. Carries can tell which base-station is carrying your traffic. And they might use “Angle Of Arrival” ( AoA) technology to approximate your location. But accuracy is diminished significantly. When GPS is on it is +/- 2 to 6 feet accurate.
Thank you!
AJ,
If you go to Settings and scroll down to the Privacy bar, you will find a bar titled Location Services.
Click on Location Services and deactivate (turn off) the switch button.
This won’t delete your Mapping app, but the app won’t know your location.
When you open an app that uses GPS/Location Services, an alert will tell you that your Location Services are off and need to be on to continue.
Many stores will track you using WiFi or Bluetooth, so I often turn those off when I go places.
It saves me from getting a lot of those junk ads for an item that I may have recently looked at when I was in the store.
Thank you so much for this information. I never knew about Location Services. I just deactivated it.
I believe if you put your phone in airplane mode when you leave the house, it stops or largely limits tracking. Note: when you do this, you aren’t able to receive calls or any internet service. Be sure to remember to turn off airplane mode when you return home.
I’m no techie, so anyone who is, feel free to correct the record…..
What you said is correct. In essence air-plane mode turns off mobile wireless “carrier” networks.
I bought a Android device last year, charged it, fired it up and the first screen said “Google can access this device at any time whether it is on or off.”
The ONLY button said “Agree”.
I shut it off, returned it to the store and told them why.
You only *Think* that you can turn apps off.
My old Samsung Note4 Android could have the battery removed. Thet can’t track you if you don’t have any power in the system.
I kept that 3G phone for 7 years. They finally told me I had until right about now to change over to a 4G phone. Can’t remove the battery now.
But you can do what others have recommended above and also get a Faraday bag.
The only problem is that once you take it out of the bag, you’ve most likely been spotted.
Besides that, your newer automobiles are equipped with On-Star; which is convenient if you are injured in a wreck or the vehicle becomes disabled.
We all understand that we are tracked by any number of means.
I personally have an aversion to having surgery where they can put you under with anesthesia. There is ample “opportunity” to inject a tracking device while you are under, for your own health, of course.
Most doctors would not do that. Some would, though.
The above is correct except no tracking device with enough power is yet available to place inside someone because the batteries would need charging. Someone would have to proximity charge the batteries through their skin to talk to commercial mobile networks.
.
RFID chips can be injected just under the skin with a jab. But it needs a power ping to light it up on a temp basis. These chips are not really very bandwidth or data rich.
.
RFID networks have not caught on commercially except for Target, Walmart or other big box retail stores. Even then the RF reader must be fairly close.
.
Why bother with radios under the skin when people give all their private data away via social media apps.
.
Also, using old tech on mobile wireless makes gathering / correlating the data more difficult and expensive for folks that gather and use it.
.
That is why I kept a 3G devise until the carries are literally turning down the 3G overlay networks this month.
.
Got the cheapest burner 4G smart phone I could.
.
When you understand the core of the Internet you no longer care about “personal credibility” of owning the latest wireless or any-other gadget.
.
BTW, 5G wireless base-stations are not really active yet. But when it is, the carriers will have so much bandwidth to monitor people including bio-metric info like pulse, breathing rate and more.
The reason I use a real GPS and do not have a smart phone. I do not regret this decision.
You can turn it off, but it isn’t off to the powers that be. Just because YOU can’t access it does not mean that they cannot.
Just because you turn it off does it really mean that they can’t track you? Some people say no, some say yes. I don’t trust our government, or the tech overlords so my phone stays home. Everyone says, what if you break down I’ll either wait for someone to stop or start walking. What if someone tries to harm you. That’s why I carry a gun, and I’m trained to use it. The only place my phone has been in the last six years, is home and my neighbor across the street.
The ONLY way to prevent this, is to NEVER carry a phone. Humans existed for millenia without a postal service or telephones. After phones were invented, we existed decades without mobile phone. Get back to that. You don’t “need” it. You carry it because you “want” it.
Gave up the smart phone years ago. We have one flip between the two of us and trying to get rid of that. Mrs ecliptic is fighting me hard on that. They can still find you, but I just don’t want a phone any longer.
I recall many years ago watching the evening news with my husband. They featured a story about a woman who was attacked in a parking garage. The subliminal message was, “If she had had a phone, she could have called for help.” Well, my husband went out and bought a cellular phone, which in those days was a big, clunky thing. Again, the fear factor at work.
Turning off your phone does no good. The battery has to be removed or use a Faraday bag.
Unfortunately the newer phones one is unable to remove the battery.
Believe that is intentional. 🤔🤔
yes under “national security” – the cheat code in the game to do whatever you want.
just accept you are monitored – and DISRUPT IT, mislead it, nonparticipate in it, take a class in Ham.
Exactly and well said.
.
When I visit family I will not go in the house with an Alexa present. Turn that junk off or I don’t come in. For me it is completely invasive and absurd.
.
Worked in telecom since the earliest BGP4 and pre-GigE days. I do not give anything away free if I can help it.
We bought a W/Dryer from an electronic store @5 years back. A freebie promo for the purchase was a free Alexa.
The box was never opened before it was tossed.
Ditto! Never opened either. Way too cynical and suspicious.
If you use any kind of grocery or discount card you are tracked, if you have your phone on a certain setting you are tracked, my insurance offers a discount if you are willing to put a tracker on your car to prove you drive less than something like 25 miles a day. You get a huge discount if you are willing. No thanks.
Drones in the sky, traffic light cameras, street cameras, cameras in stores, on and on. There is all kinds of ways we are being tracked while we go about our daily lives, and most of us don’t realize it.
FYI: Most drivers licenses now required eye scans for Homeland Security purposes of course. Colored/tinted soft contact lenses do disrupt their scanning ability however.
When the young insurance agent, who was later fired for whoknowswhat, asked me if I wanted a discount and all it required was tracking, I laughed and said “are you kidding me?” NO. Unbelievable that he was unaware of what a horrible idea this is.
Yes. California admitted to it. There is a youtuber my kids watch who took 100 (?) Cellphones to an intersection and was showing the realtime reporting of a.traffic jam
Our morning traffic guy is in Florida & reports the morning traffic around metro Baltimore.
That’s Chuck Whitaker on WCBM. He is originally from Baltimore, by the way.
What?? Hmmm maybe we can do something along those lines.
Definitely a great idea! OBFUSCATION is our friend. Flood the zone with garbage information.
Faraday pouch solves all of these issues every time the phone is inside.
I’d love to simply condemn Canada for this, however, my bet is that it is happening in large chunks of the West. We know the FBI and NSA are doing it in the US, in complete violation of the 4th Amendment, but the courts aren’t so interested in that right, unless you’re a burglar or other garden variety criminal, in which case they’ll be all over lack of probable cause or articuable suspicion.
I thought Dutch firms handled the spying on Americans for the IC.
It has definitely been happening in the good ol’ USA for years.
I did not read Glenn Greenwald’s book No Place to Hide when it was first published because the jacket endorsements included Rachel Maddow and Bill Moyers.
No telling how many liberty-minded conservatives avoided that book because Greenwald was not yet ready to relinquish his lefty credentials. Greenwald has since been canceled by the left but does not now seem to care.
I read the book last year and it is as well-sourced as RFK’s current book.
We have zero privacy in any area of our lives especially with respect to the phones and the internet.
Greenwald convinced me that Edward Snowden took great pains to withhold any info that could’ve harmed confidential, intelligence sources. Snowden deserved a pre-emptive pardon from the Trumpster.
Bill Moyers has said some smart things. Rachel? Not so much…
DT must have run all of his ideas past Jared first. Someday I think we’ll learn more about Jared and their relationship. I’ve never trusted that fishy-looking guy.
It’s increasingly alarming that our children aren’t taught how to write letters anymore.
If they can’t read cursive they can’t read the Constitution.
I’m so glad you pointed that out.
They can’t read. Period
What is even worse. That do not think they just”google it”
R Green: And apps such as “Gramerly” promise to handled grammatical corrections.
I guess we are about to find out what the Canadian people think of all this.
When this blows up in the leftists faces across the world and nationalism takes hold across much of the globe, one of the outcomes should be hundreds of countries adopting the US Constitution but this time with some extra amendments that truly protects citizens privacy and those that violate are given life in prison without parole.
In an ideal world, the Canadian people would not stand for this. But based on what they’ve allowed over the last 24 months, I’m guessing they will allow this, too.
Same for the U.S. Far too many sheep and not enough sheepdogs to fight against the wolves.
Lots of Canadians are extremely annoying lounging pools side Flawduh loudly bragging about their “vaccination” addiction! No doubt americans are doing the same thing.
I personally would never go into someones home and brag about my “superiority”.
Bob Saget bragged about loving to take his vaccines . . . .
That’s because we trusted in the firewall of the once-Republican party. They proved to be a joke.
Seems to me it is AMENDMENTS that led to the erosion of our Constitution, so am leary of adding amendments, and am in favor of deleting those added since the founding.
The 17th, for example profoundly changed the manner of governance, for example.
And, term limiting POTUS, while NOT imposing similar limit on Legislature or Judiciary, corrupted the “3 seperate but EQUAL” division of the federal govt.
It gets me in trouble 😉 but I would include the 19th also.
What I find really interesting are the women who agree with me.
I’m one of them.
The 17th amendment was Sundance’s objection to the Convention of States proceeding. But of course he could have more objections. That was just the one he stated in response to my inquiry about “why not” the convention of states? This was several years ago.
We already have “extra amendments”. Read the 9th Amendment then get back to me.
Disgusting. We have been tracked in one form or another for years, I am so tired of “The Pandemic” being their excuse to escalate their tyranny. It has gotten old quick, but I have to give them credit they are evil geniuses. Pretty incredible how they are now pretty much controlling the world in some shape or form, and it is pretty incredible the people that are in on it just keep on keeping on w/their B.S. defying any push back. They are like bulls in a China shop.
Time for a Butlerian Jihad.
I think the whole Operation Jab is about seeing and tracking those who won’t listen to them. Once they have harangued us over the shots for a year they’ll have a good idea of who and where the future resistance people are.
Leave your cellphone at home. I got my first cellphone in 2007. I survived 38 years before that without it. Now I leave it at home as much as possible. It irritates people who think I’m ignoring their calls, but they’ll have to get used to it.
When someone goes out of their way to avoid bringing attention to themselves they can sometimes bring unwanted attention to themselves.
Occasionally taking your portable tracking phone along to innocuous locations can demonstrate that you are not a reclusive individual who could warrant further scrutiny.
The Grey Man Principle.
Blend in. Look and act ordinary.
Yep, too true. My yuppie phone is sitting beside me, turned off. Normally it resides underneath a log book, hand wipes, a spare rag, in between the front seats of the ute.
It isn’t a flash one – just makes and receives calls and sms.
2 calls out in two years – I think one call and three SMS incoming in that same time period.
However, it does get turned on when I have to enter a business – and often turned off immediately after.
Sand and gears, you know.
Must drive them a little nuts when they see my number plate (tracking them is “BIG”, where I live) but the phone isn’t also showing – or, vice versa.
As an elderly person it gives me something to do to keep the grey matter on its toes – or synapses.
My first cell phone was bolted to the floor of my truck. Ruined much of life. However try to find a payphone when you are out and about.
Good Luck.
I’m exactly. the same as you.
what can they do with that power?
develop clusters of “enemy places they visit, live in, interact with” to develope a collection plan once the mask are ripped off and they show their true selves.
the trucker vaccinate or cant ship starts Jan 22nd. comm down. food hard to find. all you can do is travel to where your pattern over the last 12 months was.. war game’d.

If they are too stupid to realize that there are way more of us than there is of them, the tracking that they are using illegally will place all this in perspective for them. they really do underestimate the fight they could face as we save this country for our children and grandchildren.
Does anybody need more motivation that that?
Can’t remember the name but it was an NSA official who said and I quote “There is no greater source of information on the planet readily available then that of social media platforms. “
One example of this today is the so called 10 year challenge. Idiots just uploaded their faces for facial recognition software and they don’t even know it…
Who is the ChiCom lady(?) pictured at the bottom??
Canada’s answer to Fauci. Our chief public health officer.
rightontheleftcoast: Sorry to say it, but you guys are screwed.
She is a Chinese implant, that Trudeau had to inflict onto the Canadian Citizens lifestyle.
Attempting to prevent misuse/abuse of cell phone data, in aggregate or individualises form, NOW is a case of closing barn door, long after the cows are gone,…dead and buried in fact.
Either cut the cord, or use a mylar envelope, or accept that your data is being misused/abused.
Seems thats the only real options.
Faraday pouch works pretty well.
Otherwise I might forget to bring my tracking device along to selected destinations.
Yes it’s alarming when we learn the government health service is accessing this Data to monitor our location. But they bought it from private data companies, who’ve been selling it to whoever wants it for years now. This is how True the Vote mapped those vote harvesters in Georgia.
Your location can be tracked by your cellphone, smart watches and fitness monitors, LoJack and other chips within modern cars, even facial recognition software running in locations where many monitoring cameras are linked to the internet.
I think it should be made a crime to collect, sell or analyze such data, unless the monitored person receives a reasonable percentage of the revenue generated with a monthly report showing who is selling it to whom and/or analyzing it for what purpose, and that each watched person should have the option of turning off the ability to share or analyze their data by paying for whatever “services” are collecting the Dara.
More and more Canadian MPs and MPPs are going to find themselves on the wrong side of history.
I called my MPP. He refuses to talk to me but his secretary said over and over that mandates are what 80% of the people want. When I asked why my MPP chases popularity over principle, she said that he doesn’t.
A politician is by definition untrustworthy.
All so wrong.
DD
I’d actually believe that 80% figure – in my circle that’s about right. And of the other 20%, probably 19% don’t care either way. I’m the only one taking any kind of a stand. Far too many Canadians are utterly complacent and obedient.
Me too. Absolutely 80% of Canadians just were sheep to the slaughter.
I guess what I feel is that many politicians will look out over the ashes of what once was a fairly decent country, and they will see that the tiny shifting goal posts were just steps towards totalitarianism in disguise.
Yes, many politicians are actively involved, but my gut tells me that the large majority just wanted to go with the status quo.
What could have been stamped out by screaming truth from their platforms was never stopped, because they remained silent.
History will judge them accordingly.
DD
Absolutely. Agree 100%.
And pay in cash. Using cards can trace where & when, but also helps justifying digital currency.
It is time we start to load up the courts with legal battles, and right to know law suits. At least in the U.S. we have a constitution that is to take precedent, and provide very specific rights and laws to protect us the legal citizen from government overreach. For some odd reason the constitution appears to have become irrelevant to our uniparty politicians, and it is clear that this battle will work its way to the Supreme Court.
The poor Canadians have no rights, they fall under the British Parliamentarian style of rule and have basically forfeited all of their person and civil rights.
The only thing keeping our heads above water is the 2nd amendment, and our uniparty dictators do not know how to overcome that single issue.
There are more of us, than them!
Already happening in the US
“The tracking of hundreds of Michigan Capitol protesters’ cellphones from two rallies this spring has raised questions about protecting privacy rights, while testing limits of what location data can predict about the spread of the novel coronavirus from packed public events.
A liberal advocacy group most recently pursued the anonymized cellphone location data from more than 400 devices from individuals who attended the American Patriots Rally on April 30 in Lansing against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-home orders and used it to gauge their locations the next day in a bid to determine the potential spread of the virus from the demonstration.”
Scary as hell.
Seriously, when is enough, enough? How much more crap are people going to take?
Its time to divorce from technology and follow the Amish way of living.
@adamhousley
1/2 Bombshell from my sources “The Biden Admin used 2 executive orders to task the Selective Service System to collect records related to vaccination status and who requests medical/religious exemption. Data was also collected on individuals from personnel at medical facilities.”
2/2 “Info was authorized to be divulged without consent of the individual. Info was going to be used to determine if the individual can gain access to a federal facility, be hired for federal employment, be retained as a federal employee, or be issued a security clearance.”
Per sources: “no one knows about using the selective service system to collect all this Covid data. They also are trying to expand selective service reach to get the same info on female Americans”
In short: This administration is using the Selective Service System to log Covid data on federal employees and contractors.
Cell phone providers are scanning your text messages and known to remove and links to gateway pundit and who knows what else.
I don’t think this is new, they are just being less secretive about it because the pandemic gave them extra super powers so anything can be explained. It’s for the greater good.
Being old, I never felt the need to own a cell phone. Get along just fine without one. Those tracking people for pandemic purposes are doing so outside the Constitution and should be held responsible.
Bought from whom??? Who sold this to the goverment. How much did it cost. Who monitors it and do they do anything else with information?
I’m sure the government will abide by another law.
/s
Leave your phone at home and don’t use it as anything but a phone. Your life will be easier, honest.

The Pretrial Services Agency announced that it will store the names and “personal religious information” of all employees who make “religious accommodation requests for religious exception from the federally mandated vaccination requirement.”

Pfizer and China working on digital vaccine passport, social credit system.
Pfizer has been partnered with a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) payment platform which has been used to implement vaccine passports in China since COVID arrived on the scene.
The Gov of Canada also filed a Procurement request for an additional FIVE YEARS re cell tower support for surveillance purposes.
And, last year, they were caught snooping in the bank accounts of 600,000 Canadians before being discovered. They said it was to know the consumer habits of Canadians. Bullshit. They were perusing the Saving accounts. And the banks allowed them without informing the citizens.
Canada has a population of slightly more than 38 million. That leaves five million that aren’t spied on, quite possibly because they don’t have iPhones/Cellphones.
