Oh dear, this statement by Senator Ted Cruz is going to put Ms. Julie Kelly in quite a pickle. Earlier today, Senator Cruz called the J6 protesting groups a bunch of “violent terrorists … who should go to jail for a long, long time.”
Readers of these pages will not find this mask slip by Cruz to be a big surprise; however, for the legions of Cruz-bots, who have avoided watching him turn into a wolfman type hybrid, literally, this could be problematic. Ted Cruz has always had a serious political problem. He is out of touch with the real world around him. This will cost him a lot more than he will ever understand. Those are mostly all good Americans serving time in isolation for crimes they never even showed any intent to commit. Ted needs to do some research on these incarcerated people and get his mind right about what the Department of Justice has been doing to all of us with our own money. I don’t have to. I know the treatment they have gotten for the last 11+ months has been as thoroughly un-American as it can get. I cannot vote for the kind of disconnect to all of us that his comments reveal. He is not the Lone Ranger here, but he is one of those masked men.
Cruz is a real disappointment to be sure. He needs to go meet personally the family in Homer, AK who were terrorized by the FBI when they claimed one of their insurrection pictures showed the woman inside the Capitol. I think the family is still on the NO FLY list too.
Ted hasn’t wasted a single moment looking into what really happened on J6, and he never will just based on his remarks today. Ted probably thinks the FBI is a great law enforcement agency and that Merrick Garland is unbiased.

Sorry, JesseTMims. You don’t seem to understand that Cruz’s mother was a US citizen and therefore he was born as a US citizen. A person does not have to renounce their existing citizenship in order to gain citizenship in Canada. I lived there and had to gain Landed Immigrant status in order to keep my job.
I don’t see your reasoning as making any difference to the timing of what I typed. But I do see the source of friction between Cruz and Trump that existed before Trump won the nomination in 2016. By the way, just so I can stay on your bona-fides list, I have been a supporter of both Cruz and Trump in the past, because both are believers in our Constitution. A fact I have been unable to verify for every opponent either of them have ever faced from the Demcommie Party.

Durig the drafting of the Constitution, some Framers suggested that even members of the House and Senate be required to be natural born citizens. Those who prevailed against that idea erred severely by not agreeing; and WE are paying a price by people like Cruz, McCain, and Rubio being members of Congress.

Then, let’s see what Senator Cruz has to say once he is duly informed. If Cruz declines the meeting, well, then we know. Conversely, if accepts such a meeting and remains mute, then we also know as well.

The only violence I’ve see or read about is the capitol police beating people in the lower levels of the capitol complex including Rosanne Boyland who dies form her injuries, Ashley Babbitt shot dead, a woman I’m not sure identified, died after being shot in the chest on the Capitol grounds, protesters Kevin Greeson 55 and Benjamin Phillips 50 both suffered cardiac arrest and died. I’ve not seen nor hear official reports of Capitol Police/Washington Cops/FBI/CIA/Operatives were injured much less died.
There is multiple angle videos clearly showing Ray Epps instigating and leading protestors to enter the capitol. All videos showed peaceful folks wandering around. There were a small group of people who got into Pelosi’s office, sat in her chair and generally mocked politicians. At best these folks were trespassing, vandalizing and several charged with desctruction of govt property. But Insurrection? Felonies?
It doesn’t matter how long these 100+ people are held in pretrial confinement, it will not change what they did. As more videos and testimonials come out on Ray Epps and the FBI’s involvement with planted operators and contracted BLM, the entire False Flag will take on very different dimensions.

Cruz doesn’t seem to understand that over half the country doesn’t feel that democracy was under attack because they saw for four years that the people responsible for practicing democracy did no such thing: one party ran roughshod over the Constitution in plain sight, the world watching, their supporters gleeful that the party had no intention of practicing “democracy” while the other party did nothing to raise a hand, a vote, or a voice against such treason.

Now, let’s discuss WHY he said it. He’s running for the Presidential nomination in 2024…this will split the blanket with Conservatives, so Wolfman Crud…did I misspell his name?… will have to run as a POS RINO.
I know he’s been a bit aloof about it, as he has to be this early in the game, but he’s running. He’ll be running if Donald Trump runs. He’ll be running if Ron DeSantis runs. He’ll be running if Mike Pence runs. And the only way he has any chance of defeating either of the two populists or the RINO is if he gets the power of the Republican Establishment behind him.
That means changing his various tunes to suit milquetoast Republicans with lots of money. It means distancing himself from Trump and the MAGA movement by siding with Democrats on the false January 6 “insurrection” narrative.
I don’t know this based on anything others have said. I know this because I’ve followed Cruz since before he was a 2016 presidential candidate. His decision-making is precise and his strategies are transparent, albeit brilliant at times. But perhaps more than anything else I know that this is all part of a 2024 strategy because the alternative is unfathomable. That alternative would be that he actually believes the protests and false-flag, Deep State-inspired entry into the Capitol on January 6, 2021 was a terrorist attack. If he thinks that, then everything I’ve ever thought about him before was based on lies.
Ted Cruz made statements about January 6 that were ludicrous prima facie. Saying it was a terrorist attack despite the mountains of evidence proving otherwise means that he’s gone to the dark side for the sake of political expediency.
Ted Cruz has always been distant from President Trump. Even when he sided with him it was in a passive-aggressive slamming of President Trump.
Trump allowed Cruz to speak before the RNC.
