You know what’s weird? My naturopath has been giving me Ivermectin prophylaxis (weight specific dose every 2 weeks), I’ve upped my Vit D intake (5K IU/daily), along with an Antioxidant formula (Costco)– and I haven’t even had a cold in over a year (while others around me have, including the “dreaded-vid”).
Recovering from one of the variants now myself. Test came back positive, but they didn’t specify which variant. I expect I have the omnicron variant. As someone in most of the high risk groups, I got the first two shots. First day was miserable, like any other cold, been improving since then. Midway through week two of the infection, expect it will be at least two weeks before I am fully over it. Deadly? No, but an absolute PITA. Technically working from home, but for all practical purposes you can consider me to be on unofficial government welfare, because at the moment I really need to be AT work to do my job. Can’t image computers from home. So effectively 90% of productivity lost (and part of why I can post here while watching email from work). The people I’ve talked to all tell me this variant is about 2 weeks of being sick.
So, not to be Clintonian about it, but “dangerous” depends on precisely how you define “dangerous”. Like I said, not deadly. But with the rate of transmission, we’re going to have a LOT of people out for the duration of their illness. And yes, that includes the vaxxed as well as the unvaxxed. Haven’t seen any reports recently, but the early ones were there were more vaxxed cases needing hospitalizations then there were unvaxxed. So there is going to be a lot of economic productity lost to Omnicron. With things already on edge, the question is, how dangerous does that make for other people? Not in the sense of them being sick from it, but in the loss of something that might otherwise keep them alive?
Talked to my elderly mother today on the phone. She believes, with her whole mind and heart, that she is living through a deadly pandemic where millions upon millions of people have died. Her assisted living facility in CA is on “lockdown” so they can’t leave their rooms. Their meals are brought to them. Apparently, the reason is that some of the fully vaccinated caretakers have tested positive for covid. As well, her facility doesn’t allow non-vaccinated people in. (Please know that I have zero legal authority to change anything for her and that the situation has caused me continued heartache. I would have never put her in a facility to begin with, but that’s another story.). She is apparently not concerned about being locked down as long as her needs are being met. I pray they continue to be met – a great concern. She thinks that people who won’t get vaccinated are “misinformed”. I told her that I thought people who are getting vaccinated are misinformed, but I refused to allow that conversation to take flight because I love her very much. The vax/no-vax narrative has destroyed family unity in this country like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation with your mother…how absolutely heartbreaking AND infuriating! The fear porn that has been pushed onto vulnerable populations is a crime against humanity! None of my family are currently in a nursing care facility, but we are badly divided on these stupid mRNA vaccines. I have just told other family members to do a little research that goes beyond the CBS Evening News and left it at that. The Health Minister of the state of New South Wales here in Australia, one Brad Hazzard, stated that all hospital admissions who test positive for Covid are counted as Covid patients, even if they’re in for a broken arm.
About 50% of cases are WITH Covid, not because of Covid.

Thank you for posting this! It’s a long thread but one only needs to skim it to get the gist of it. There were a handful of people SCREAMING about this back in April of 2020 when the CDC first made the change but no one in the MSM (or unfortunately, in the Congress or White House) would touch the story!
I was listening to an interview with Peter McCullough from last week and he said that he believes 85% of the 800K deaths attributed to C0v1d were either from other causes or could have been prevented with early treatment, meaning that the actual number of deaths in the US is probably no more than 125K and most of those were in the elderly . I am not saying that it’s still not tragic but how many elderly die of flu or pneumonia every year? They are simply at higher risk due to age and their general overall health not being as good. BUT, he stated, that according to extrapolations of VAERS and CMS data, there are probably close to 180K deaths (and counting) from the jabs and many of those are in younger people who had no known health issues!
It is a crime against humanity – no ifs, ands, or buts!
Dr. Peter McCullough is one of the absolute best and most trusted of all the actual doctors I listen to. I wish he could be my personal physician- he is so wonderful. We are lucky to have him on our side.

The 40% excess is what started showing up after the vaxxes. I did see a new article about the Fentanyl epidemic which will probably be used to try to explain the excess deaths, but I think any excess deaths from Fentanyl would have started showing up from the isolation and quarantining way before the vaxxes.

You need only look at the money. Congress foolishly created a law which gives hospitals tens of thousands of dollars (at minimum) if they list “COVID-19.” More if they put someone on a respirator. So, this is exactly what they do, just to collect those checks.
Always bear in mind that most hospitals are for-profit. They will (literally …) “lie, cheat, and steal” to get their hands on all that money. You are “a unit.”

What is interesting is that way over 50% of the new cases are FULLY COVID vaccinated.
I was tested last week for the first time so I could have some minor surgery. DAMN never again, even if it for some life saving surgery. They screwed up my sinuses, which I have come to find out has happened to around 20% or more with the nasal swabs. (i tested negative).
Just glad I’m in South Dakota in a neighborhood where over 80% fly the American flag, along with way over 20% also flying a Trump flag.
I’ll never let them shove anything up my nose. If they won’t save my life in the Emergency room, then they will all go to hell, and I’ll be in heaven. So frustrating!
With everything else, was afraid to ask anyone until I got to church.
I just said I had some type of sinus issue. They all knew I was having minor surgery, so they were the ones that asked if I got tested.
They were the ones that told me about the nasal swabs being a bit dangerous. I was told I was lucky since there have been a few that had the swab go way too far.

I’m fortunate, the “fast antigen” test I go for they let you do your own swabbing

It reminds me of the time I resigned without notice from my job at Centene’s corporate headquarters in Clayton, MO because of their hostile, mean, and corrupt workplace culture and environment.
It was the most wretched workplace ever and a truly evil company.
I walked out on my lunch break and never came back. I emailed my boss to tell them that I quit after I was safely off of company property.
My resignation ended up being a great choice on my part as they now have a covid vaccine mandate. I would have eventually quit anyway to avoid that mandate.
Centene is an evil cog in the machine of government funded healthcare. They provide taxpayer subsidized healthcare while simultaneously skimming off a huge amount of tax dollars for the enrichment of the company’s executives.

I quit Centene without another job lined up. I was unemployed for three months before finding a new job, but I had enough money to make do with no issues.
Since I had only worked at Centene for seven months before quitting, I was concerned that some employers might not like that I quit a job while having such a short tenure.
Only one job interviewer out of the eight that I had were concerned about my short job tenure at Centene.
It’s odd to me that someone would view leaving a bad job after a relatively short time as a bad thing. I don’t understand why someone should be expected to stay at a bad job for a prolonged period of time just to establish a certain amount of tenure before moving on.
Life is short. Why waste it being unnecessarily unhappy?
This interviewer also seemed unimpressed that I was at one of my previous employers for 11 years. I brought that point up to prove that I wasn’t a habitual job quitter and was willing to be loyal to a good employer.
Another interviewer actually remarked that “Centene must be a rough place to work,” because they received so many applicants from there.
I ended up getting a much better job that paid $20,000 a year more.

I’ve had 4 jobs – 2 pharmacy, 1 at a casino, 1 at a huge factory making clear plastic and foam food containers.
I couldn’t do the factory job – wasn’t fast enough and too much pain. I didn’t even last a week.
The two pharmacies had the worst customer service policies I have ever seen!! Customers would wait forever, ringing phones would be completely ignored.
My upcoming interviews are in my other field – food. I loved that, gonna try it again.

Leave out any numbers altogether and just say since the numbers came down so far, there is no longer a need to keep track of this statistic. Also announce that because this should have been done earlier, that no questions are allowed.

It would be much more enlightening to post not only the covid case chart but also the hospitalizations and deaths charts. Which would drive home the fact that the latest variant is much less lethal than the original, as well as point out that hospitals are not being overrun nor are the morgues. The different types of Covid-19 tests
The rapid PCR test will detect a current Covid infection via nasal swab. It’s designed to detect genetic material belonging to the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
PCR test results can be processed onsite and are available the same day, which is perfect if you need to travel or get tested quickly.
The RT-PCR test is sometimes referred to as a ‘molecular’ test. Like the rapid PCR, this test is administered via nasal swab; however, it may also be a saliva or throat swab. This test is considered the gold standard of Covid tests and is highly accurate.
The sample from this test must be sent to a lab for processing, and results are typically available within three business days.
Antigen tests use a different type of technology to detect Covid-19 and are designed to detect certain proteins located on the surface of the virus. This test looks at a sample of fluids that are collected from your sinus cavity or your throat.
Antigen tests are also known as ‘rapid tests’, and results are generally available within fifteen minutes. This test is known to have a higher rate of incorrect results than the RT-PCR test.
The antibody test looks for a prior Covid-19 infection by way of the antibodies that your body develops in response to infection. It requires blood work done via finger stick or a blood draw. This test can either be sent to a lab for processing or processed onsite. This test is ideal if you want to know if your body has been exposed to the virus, but it should not be used to detect a current infection.

It used to be that science, medicine, and public health all tracked two significant factors relating to an outbreak of any contagious disease. Infections vs. Cases. ‘Cases’ were those that sought or required medical intervention due to that particular disease. ‘Infections’ were the number of ‘cases’ + those that probably had the disease + the number of people suspected as having the disease. In fact IFR (infection fatality rate) vs. CFR (case fatality rate) was the most vital concern relating to determining the severity of any contagious disease.
But now all the data refers to ‘cases’ with very rare references to ‘infections’ used by science, medicine, public health, media, and political figures. It is a bit confusing but the ‘case’ data being reported includes ‘confirmed’, ‘suspected’, and ‘probable’ INFECTIONS. All it takes is a positive result from the FDA recalled and CDC replaced PCR testing using an exaggerated protocol or having a doctor say you have sniffles AND a fever and you are entered into the data as a ‘new case’ because you MIGHT have CCP-Virus (or anyone of a hundred other diseases). Using an over inflated rate of ‘infection’ and calling it ‘cases’ to set public health policy is tyrannical insanity.

The last couple times I had a PCR test (last one positive and knew it would be), they ran influenza and RSV which were both negative.

My son may have had COVID the home test said no but he had
the symptoms, runny/stuffy nose, sore throat , chills the first day
no fever, never lost taste or smell. I upped his Vit D double doses

Yea, when I had covid, my fever went clear up to 100 Degrees for a coupla days. And no, I did not take any fever reducers (aspirin, Tylenol, whatever).
I earlier feared that the lethality rate would rise as the number of cases increased to the point that hospitals were overwhelmed. However; the official data confirms that the lethality rate from Covidvirus has decreased by 90% from this time a year ago. In other words, Covidvirus is now about as deadly as the common flu.
Hospitals are not overwhelmed from what I can see – though the emergency rooms are teaming with covidlemmings.

That would require you to perform over 1,600 tests per hour, 24/7. And I do not believe that this is actually happening. The lab processing time of a typical (thought to be reliable) PCR test is more than a week.
In other states with bigger supposed counts, you’d be running over 8,000 tests per hour.
I openly believe that these numbers are fake. People aren’t buying the “fear porn” anymore, so they’re ratcheting-up the counts just to try to keep it going – and, of course, to keep the federal money pouring in.
Did CDC add the weekend numbers to arrive at 828,000? Saturday and Sunday (with recent adjustments this evening) now total 833,000 as reported by the WorldoMeter site. For today, with almost all states reporting (ex: Maine and Iowa) the total is 567,000.
This kind of stupidity has happened before, IIRC with Florida, which reports its weekend numbers on Monday. Idiots were taking the three days total and reporting it as Monday only.
